How can feminists be blamed for irresponsible men refusing to marry the women they impregnate? Lol

It’s a crumbling society where men are never held accountable for anything they do (as your comment displays) that makes these things more and more common.

Men are no longer expected to be moral or responsible people. Why would they when there will always be a woman or witchcraft around to blame for a man’s actions.

BLOODYSPERM:

Victimhood and Cultural Marxist jargons social justice warriors,Feminist and Egalitarianistic-Equalists use to justify their incompetence and ineptitude in major economic and political activities which they claim is as a result of white male supremacy and systematic racial / sexual discrimination,

No means of internal dialogue to understand that their failures is based on their lack of merit, but they keep on blaming the white heterosexual man

Women's right and Civil right has been passed post 1960's where blacks and women have an equal playing field yet they scream oppression and systematic discrimination, bastardizing history with Marxist and post mordernist lens point built on critical race theory, just look at the miserable statistics in the black community with regards to social issues

I see no reason for affirmative action and Quota inclusivity policies post women right and Civil rights since segregation and systematic discrimination has been legislated away except such sex and race deems itself inferior as such nonsense policies don't lead to optimal result like
in scandanaviann societies which aimed for gender equality via Progressive policies , these policies have done the opposite for women with regards to equality as nature(evolutionary science of millions of years) can't be legislated away in a social constructive manner post Feminist acculturation, hard core Biological evidence in generalization as outliers abound deem women as the physically, psychologically and evolutionary weaker and vulnerable sex

If I actually ask you to define in your own words what critical race theory is you couldn’t and it has nothing to do with my comments. Neither does “cultural Marxism”.

The civil rights movement impacting the immigration act is factual, not open to debate. The way America made its wealth is also not a debate, it’s factual. You’re just dumb. And please stop following me around with your anti-feminist babble. I truly don’t care about your thoughts lol

Fix your country, sir. Since you Nigerian men are so awesome fix your country. Demand some infrastructure, electricity, running water for all, paved roads, a transportation system, some competent leadership, free education. Worry about SARS. Worry about why all these superior Nigerian males are living in extreme poverty. Worry about why superior Nigerian men are dying in the sea to escape your country. Worry about these scammers, cultists, criminals in your country, sir.

Fix your place, sir. Your focus on international affairs, Scandinavian nations, and what Black Americans are doing is a waste. Put your energy into repairing your country.

since you aren’t a victim I’m sure you won’t blame government or neocolonialism. Place your focus on your broken nation, sir.

Don’t worry about what we’re doing over here.

@bolded

Slight correction: "do better than SOME black South Africans". And this limited success also applies to other African immigrants, not just Nigerians.

In general, black South Africans are still far more successful than Nigerian and other African immigrants. Unlike in the US where the system doesn't favour or support Black Americans, it's the opposite in democratic South Africa - it's our government. So don't let Nigerians fool you that, for example, they are the backbone of the medical profession in SA, it's just wishful thinking. For every Nigerian doctor (hired in SA at the mercy of South Africans) there are 20 other black South African doctors. Yet they go around social media claiming they rule the roost.

Like you asked - who raised these people? Very disrespectful to their hosts.

Yeah, I didn’t mean to suggest that all Black South Africans are not doing well or haven’t found success... just that when South Africans are complaining of poverty and the very real barriers to access still present or discussing immigrant crime, i have seen Nigerians be dismissive about the struggles and accomplishments of Black South Africans the same way they do with us.

It’s funny you mentioned doctors because they do the same exact thing here: claiming they are like 70% even 80% of existing Black doctors in America! smh

Are AAs also the reason Africans are in the UK,Australia, France, Canada, Russia?

FOH with your self-importance and this nonsense argument!

You really think there'll be no Africans in America if not for African Americans in 2021 ??

No, those countries have different colonial histories. The people who live in those places in large part are the people from countries that were once colonies of those nations, save Canada/Russia. They have specific programs, incentives that allow their subjects to immigrate there. Did you not know that

You don’t have an America without African Americans.

Without our labor there would be literally be no wealth for America to exist let alone become a world power. Its wealth was made off the backs of my ancestors’ labor.

So yeah, without African Americans there would be no America for Africans to come to. And without the work of African Americans to make America a place that isn’t totally hostile and dangerous to Black people, few Africans would want to come here as evidenced by the fact that y’all weren’t immigrating much at all until the 80’s after we secured some basic rights for Black people.

And it was on the backs of the Civil Rights Movement/Act (where African Americans fought and died) that the immigration act of 1965 was passed, undoing restrictive race based quotas that limited African immigration...

“It was with the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 that the federal government radically altered immigration policy, opening America’s doors to the world after decades... a shift that historians say happened in part because of a hunger for change and equality created by the civil rights movement
https://apnews.com/article/5b3a2295a46c4a408f04f7adf50b315f

The 1965 act has to be understood as a result of the civil rights movement, and the general effort (of African Americans) to eliminate race discrimination from U.S. law, says Gabriel “Jack” Chin, immigration law professor at University of California, Davis
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.history.com/.amp/news/immigration-act-1965-changes

This is all easy history to grasp if you ever read a US history book, even a chapter, even one meant for a third grader.

Just say you don’t read books and go...

I will make this as brief as possible. I left Nigeria to the UK around may last year and I have fully settled in the country and was looking for someone to settle down with, I didn’t want a foreign girl, so I looked for Nigerians only, the ones I kept meeting here were either engaged with someone back in Nigeria, had serious relationships with someone else or married. So I decided to look back home. A friend of mine introduced me to a beautiful lady who lived and worked in Abuja, she appeared to be doing well for self and was courteous as well. So we started speaking and everything clicked, she wasn’t boring at all and could keep a convo going for hours. We started dating and things were going fine until I noticed something which appears to be a red flag, but I keep doubting if am been too hasty in reaching a conclusion. Just a week after we started dating, she started complaining that she was really broke, that she was kind struggling. In my mind I felt it was too soon for this to come up but I nevertheless sent her 60k to help out. Less than two weeks later, she sent me a letter from her work place that stated that her salary would be delayed for that month . She started complaining of how she was in dire straits and wouldn’t be able to survive till then. I sha played along and told her that where I worked they even delayed my own by a whole month. I can take care of a lady I like no problems, but this incessant asking, is it not too soon in this relationship? This is someone am already thinking of settling down with. If with a six figure salary she can’t manage herself, is this not a bad sign?

The first ask was hasty depending on how long you guys were in this period of hour long conversations. If you were going on like that for a month or two then a week into something official is not that hasty but if you’d only known her a couple weeks then it’s a fast ask.

You’ve only given two instances without saying how long you’ve been dating... for example: if you’re together for 6 months and she’s come to you about money twice then that is no big deal.

If she’s also considering you for marriage she’s probably expecting you to be a provider and so when dating she will test your ability to provide and your level of generosity.

keep in mind that a woman wanting her man to pay for stuff doesn’t mean she doesn’t have money. If she’s saying she’s broke, though, that could possibly be a red flag suggesting that she doesn’t manage money well or she’s just pretending to be broke to get you to cover the expenses

Can ALL of you squish this obtuse line of arguments...
With all due respect, it’s just a series of ignorant stereotyping on BOTH sides.

Growing up in the US, I lived the ignorant bullying over my name...
And it was even worse for my parents’ generation with their accents (despite being well-educated).

Meanwhile, arriving in Africa for the first-time ever to attend high school...
There was just as palpable ignorance about black Americans based on media and film stereotypes.

The reality is that the mainstream (white) media had done a number on folks of color everywhere...
Portraying Africans as poor tree-dwelling folks, and black Americans (and even black Brits) as lazy, violent, criminals.

Even when the term “African-American” was initially suggested, it met resistance by folks who didn’t want to be associated with Africa...
But, conversely, it was black Americans who pushed hardest for the Diversity Visa, which created opportunities in the US for so many Africans.

INTELLIGENT folks should traverse these crude backward STEREOTYPES...
And realize that the condition of black folks anywhere directly or indirectly affects black folks everywhere.

BLACK LIVES MATTER EVERYWHERE!
>

I’m not even African and I was made fun of for being African. Later I was made fun of for being Haitian and Jamaican (which I’m also not). Guess what, that’s what kids do. Make stupid jokes.

When my son went to school in Nigeria he was also teased for his accent and for not being able to pronounce Yoruba words properly... it’s not anti-Black it’s just childhood

The anti-Blackness African people exhibit *in adulthood* toward Black Americans, completely unprovoked is not on par with childhood name calling. Black Americans don’t teach our kids bad things about African people or warn our kids not to hang out with African kids the way African people will admit to being told by their parents...

Other than that I agree with you completely that the divisions are counterproductive.

But I’m gonna defend my people against anti-Black ignorant attacks regardless

Haha. Nigeria’s populations aren’t just limited to USA or South Africa. You will find Nigerians historically in places blacks haven’t been like Cyprus, Ukraine, Russia, UK , China , etc and are doing quite well.

I don’t think we worship the whites. Clearly the opposite if you know the Nigerian feisty spirit. What we are alluding to here is that there is a trend among African American communities where u find this mindless killings and ask why. Just because I’m Black doesn’t mean it shouldn't be called out. It shouldn’t be seen as betrayal of my race just because I’m calling it out.

Regarding imitating African American culture, thanks, I got my African culture. It’s not perfect but it works for me. Not a culture where Shabisha leaves her husband’s house and go meet Teeshun. Teeshan leaves Shabisha with 2 kids and go meet Shalima.

I like my African culture where if u leave your wife, they summon the elders on you and that’s what all well meaning blacks should imitate. It needs some refining here and there but the best of all cultures.

What makes you think no Black people live in the countries you named? And what are the Nigerians doing in those countries? Because when I go to China they want to be sure I’m not Nigerian or else they will think I’m a prostitute, scammer, or drug dealer. Why is that reputation left behind in those countries you named

You find mindless killings amongst whites in America as well. And you find high rates of crime where overtly persists, just look at Nigeria as an example of that. Worry about your country where Black people are in charge and still can’t make the country function rather than looking down on Black people who are minorities in a country they were once enslaved in.

Are we really going to pretend your “African culture” has marriages that are things to uphold as good examples? The high rates of domestic violence, marital rape, second wives, and outside kids? Where you summon the elders and they tell a woman to go back to her abusive husband? High rates of adultery and child abuse? Thinking beating and slapping children is good parenting? Hmmm... ok.

And while you make fun of AA names why do you think your multisyllabic names are superior I am not immature enough or ignorant enough to start imitating your names. but if you think anyone considers your 5-6 syllable names to be less primitive than our ethnic names, you’re living a fantasy. LoL

Of course you people worship whites. You bleach your skin, the capital of skin bleaching, because you love whites. You post pics of a blonde white Jesus all over social media even as whites themselves have moved to acknowledging a more brown skinned man. You come to the Us and try to become white so much you adopt hatred of the Black people here. Your types are a sad sad bunch.

Because of the leadership problem in Nigeria. Why are you talking like someone who doesn't know it is basically the same cabal of people that have been running this country since independence. Nigeria has yet to see a true change of leadership from the old generation to the new generation. Once we do, I am convinced things will change.

I am not saying all Nigerian's in America do well, I know many uselss Nigerians in America too. I'm just saying certain factors make the average Nigerian more determined to succeed in American than Akata folks.

The truth of the matter is that Black Americans have made the country a place where Black immigrants can now come and expect a chance at success. that’s why Africans weren’t coming over here like this during the 1920’s-30’s when other immigrants were coming or even in the 60’s waves of migrations. They came after Black Americans did the fighting and came to enjoy the privileges of being immigrants and did as much as they could to remove themselves from the Black Americans who paved the way.

If Nigerians have the hunger you described why would they continue to vote for useless politicians each election cycle? How come Nigerians don’t return to Nigeria and transform it? Where is evidence of this hunger seen in the overall population?

When it’s Nigerians failing you blame the government and leadership but when Black Americans point to government for our less than equal conditions you all dismiss that and join white people in calling us lazy and complacent. Those same white people who say African countries like Nigeria are in such a state because you all are lazy or unintelligent.

Hogwash. Nigerian's succeed in America more than Black Americans because many come into that country with a certain hunger and determination to make it after escaping REAL poverty back home. Others are from well to do/strict families with great expectations from their parents after spending so much on school fees and other expenses sending them to America so they know they must not mess up. Either way, they have an added incentive to succeed that Black Americans don't have hence their general complacent attitude.

To further prove my point, most Akata people I know that move with Nigerians or within Nigerian circles tend to succeed more than their counterparts who don't. To show you that it's generally an attitude/influence problem not racism.

If Nigerians have such a hunger then why can’t they make Nigeria work for them? Why is Nigeria a failing project and even Nigerians will be wishing for the days of colonialism if Nigerians are so successful and hard working and focused

Why can’t you fix your own country?

Rather than jumping in where Black Americans have made a foundation for you to take advantage of just build up your own country with all your great talents.

Lol..why are you ignoring the killings by black in the US? Who commits the most homicide. Yes black are very heartless people, I have lived, worked and interact with so many races here and I know the difference. You are just beclouded with the fact that you are black. Black don't even love themselves, black kills black more than the whites killing blacks.
Talking about accent you just display your level of ignorance. Have you ever heard of what is called "phonological interference"?
That is how your mother tounge affects any other language you learnt. I was raised in Africa but learnt English. So you can go and learn any African language then you will also have accent because your American tounge will interfer with it.
So only ignorant people like you will make fun of somebody with accent.
I have lived here for years so telling me I know nothing about blacks is laughable.
I hate nobody I was talking about what is obvious and statistics so you can cry river because of that I don't care.

In Nigeria Black people commit the most homicide. In Nigeria Black people kill more Black people than Whites kill Black people... so does that mean Nigerians are wicked and evil?

If you understand proximity & know anything about the US, you would know most of America is segregated. Criminals operate based on what is close to them

https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2019/crime-in-the-u.s.-2019/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-6.xls

Based on FBI data, 2600 of the 3300 white ppl killed in the US were killed by white people.

2600 of the 2900 Black people killed were killed by Black people.

Black murderers kill Black people because they are in proximity to them. White murderers kill white people because they are in proximity to them. That’s the nature of segregation + crime.

https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2019/crime-in-the-u.s.-2019/tables/table-43

More FBI data:

Of total criminal offenses black people (also it doesn’t list African criminals separate from Black Americans lol) were responsible for 26.6% of crimes. 36.4 percent of total violent crime.

Even with homicide Black people are responsible for 51.2% of those. Not this overwhelming number you are suggesting. And those account for the smallest number, around 7000 victims.

It must be said: Black Americans don’t like you because you’re a judgmental stereotyping fool. We can sense when someone is looking down on us and no one will like a person like that.

Your judgment is beclouded by the fact that you are a Nigerian. That is why you can’t see how ridiculous it is for any Nigerian to call anyone names when the names the entire world has for you outweighs anything you can say about us. Lmao. The irony.

I see you’re offended by the accent comment. So that is why you are upset, right? Someone made fun of your accent and you’ve called Black Americans heartless ever since hahaha

Get over yourself.

And I know your type, smiling in our faces like you are one of us while hating us all the while. Truly despicable.

Black immigrants didn't take advantage of black American gains. They worked hard while black Americans became passive and comfortable.

Nigeria has a very high amount of applicants for U:S visas so they will go through due process to get the visa.

No non-melanin nation respects black people whether they are black American or not.

Black Americans are anything but passive or comfortable... We fight for more rights and equal rights regularly. I’ve even seen Africans saying we are too obsessed with race because we are constantly fighting against discrimination.

And we suffer from generational effects of racism unlike Black immigrants who are leaving their country and starting over, escaping generational poverty. Similar to how in South Africa, Nigerians are able to immigrate and do better than Black South Africans because you aren’t suffering generational effects of having no rights...

If Nigerians are so much better than us and so great then why can’t they succeed in Nigeria? Why must they come to the US? Why haven’t they transformed Nigeria? stay and make Nigeria great rather than coming to the US where Black Americans have done all the work and built all the structures and changed all the policy. Especially if you only come to look down on us and judge us. Why not remain in Nigeria? surely your non-passive, non-comfortable nature can have Nigeria being amongst the wealthiest nations...

Bottomline , there's nothing to emulate from black America as it stands!

I understand the politics of why it's the way it is though, but can only hope blacks in general think and do better!

There is plenty to emulate and that’s why it’s emulated by African and everyone else.

We create pop culture and have done so for decades. And people manage to imitate us while hating us.

I hope you people can do better than stereotyping a whole group of people knowing you will cry when a nation is discriminating and hating you due to your nationality. Black people should wake up and unite rather than sowing divisions and hatred based on nationality.

But unfortunately some cultures are too busy admiring & worshipping whites to have any mind to do that.

Nigeria and other African countries have resources the U:S wants and needs.. So it's not because of black Americans that Africans can live in the U:S.

The reason they can find work is also because of trade among U:S and their Country and they have the certificates.

Any stereotype attached to Nigerians will also affect other black people that are not Nigerians but look like Nigerians.

Incorrect. Immigration for Africans began to increase after the Civil Rights Movement/Act. Black immigrants rode our coattails, watched us struggle for access, then came to take advantage of our gains... and did so while apparently looking down on us the whole time. That’s the worst part of it.

If America stealing your resources allowed for you to immigrate here you’d be able to get a visa on arrival like the countries America respects. Nigerians have to go through hell to get approved, you have no special status. America continued to take your resources and banned Nigerian immigration in the last administration.

Don’t be delusional and don’t be unappreciative.

You’re right, the stereotypes that are globally attached to Nigerians damage all Black people. People aren’t going around looking down on Black people in China because of Black American’s reputation but because of Nigerian’s reputation. In fact when I’m abroad and they find out I’m American they respect me. When they think I may be Nigerian they are suspicious.

So all this looking down on people who are Black American is funny because at this point in reality Nigerians have worse reputations than what is spread about us. Yet people feel totally comfortable pushing stereotypes about us while their reputation is much worse.

True. They just beef you for nothing and kill for the dumbest reasons. Although its a general thing in the US shared among blacks and whites and Hispanics, the Akata own is just too much. Any reason is enough reason. It could be a case of rejection of love advances, refusal to dash him money when he begged for a "dollar or two", or just raw beef over your success.

How many “akata” do you know?

People will watch a tv show or listen to Tupac and start speaking on Black Americans as if you have done research into us. You ppl are hilarious.

As if Nigerians don’t kill each other over nothing. As if promising people aren’t murdered for small small money in armed robberies and such? C’mon. As if you ppl aren’t constantly afraid of being killed by friends and family and enemies over your successes As if men don’t kill over being jilted in Nigeria? This is laughable!!

No, the country has been politically dysfunctional, we've just only recently began to add an extra layer of imported social ills to it.

Some of us have tried to educate our people to no avail, it keeps getting worse because of the power of social media and music sponsored by you know who..

It's the same game everywhere, gullible blacks swallowing bullshit...off course there are exceptions.. very few!

Black Americans have created popular music that has been imported to you people since at least the jazz age.

Lol if your culture is experiencing social ills because of music then I’d have to wonder how strong can a culture be if simple music can destroy it and influence behavior.

And if it’s that serious, it seems there should be responsible parents who can monitor their children properly? Are there not?

Lol you are just typing jargons. If you know the rate of killings by blacks in America then you will understand the guy's suspicion. Black kills blacks more than the whites, blacks don't even love themselves.
For your information black Americans are one of the most heartless people on earth if not the most heartless. I live here and I have seen it all.

Wow... the only reason you can live in the US is because of us. The only reason you can find decent work or enter good schools is because of us. This is the issue with Nigerians. You worship whites who hate you and only accept you at all due to our labor. You do this same thing in South Africa: putting down the Black South Africans and calling them names and demeaning their reputations while benefitting from their struggle.

Meanwhile go anywhere in the globe and see the stereotypes of Nigerians. Everyone considers Nigerian expat women prostitutes and Nigerian expat men scammers, human traffickers, and drug dealers. But when you are stereotyped you’ll be crying and wanting to fight about it but come here and spread dumb lies about a whole race of people in the US

Who raised you?
