I was actually talking about the possible options you meant. Thanks so much
ACCA, CIMA, diploma, PGD etc. Does anyone of these thrill you?

On the addition of one more cert to gain more scores, does one have to send the second cert to ICES for verification m?
I learned you have to verify only your highest qualification...
...if the highest qualification is at least a masters degree

My brother, I just had to share when I saw....Its crazy mehn!
I'm having a hard time coming to terms with the numbers in that chart. Are those the numbers of people who have submitted their applications in the respective months? That doesn't look realistic at first glance. Maybe you should share the source for a closer perusal.

Hi everyone, please can both the husband and wife have a profile in the EE pool? To be precise, the wife has been the PA all the while but based on recent developments, the husband as the PA will take their score to 474 from 436. So they intend to create his profile with him as the PA.
Is there any issue with this?
No issues, but it is advisable that they withdraw the wife's profile.

Getting into the pool isn't a risk. People don't get drowned in this pool. wink

So what do i do to see if i can get this sorted? Any courses i can quickly do to get this sorted? My Masters certificate is not ready until sometime next year. Pheewww!!
If you have maxed out IELTS, then I think you should wait for your masters or CRS crash, whichever comes first. The former seems the likelier to get you "there".

However, if you won't mind, give ACCA a shot but that's not my advise.

My people please read this link. There is something I did not understand there. The write up on withdrawing application and not getting an invitation to apply again.
What I can deduce is that one would have some explanations to do, perhaps to the reviewing/visa officer on why they withdrew their application. Where he/she isn't satisfied with the explanation, such an applicant risks being refused then and in the future.

This one that my evaluation says one semester for my college level certificate what do i do to make it valid as two certificate?

ie ECA is Completion of a college-level certificate (one semester) and bachelor's
degree (four years)
The second certificate has to be evaluated as at least 1 year equivalence.

Hi fam,

I have searched the previous threads and checked out Glitteringstar's feedback on below but i didnt see the part that had the *one semester* bit.

So here is my question...

My ECA says "Completion of a college-level certificate (one semester) and bachelor's
degree (four years)"
does this still imply 2 or more certificates because of the "one semester" clause?

Tainkiu!
No it doesn't

I have been following the thread from part 4
My score on the online tool is 438
Ielts score included, work experience,I’m 28 yes old. I choose No for the lmia options, cos I don’t know how it works. Also having a siblings there, I choose no. Can someone actually use a friend in Canada? And how does the lmia works for me? Cos I have started tutorials on the ielts. Thanks
You have a BSc, with 3 points still to claim from IELTS. That should get you to a safe 441 when you grab it. You may also choose to get a second certificate and lift the score to 471 with "2 or more certificates...". If the latter is your preferred choice, indicate and get the possible options.

You cannot claim points for a friend, only family. Good luck

No we haven't, this 435 score is without the dependent's ECA and the PA can still upgrade his IELTS for maximum points. Will update the house as our story unfolds. PA wrote IELTS for the 4th time and he got L,R,W,S- 8,7,7,8. He wrote IELTS again 2 weeks ago and we are hoping this 5th time will give us our desired score. As for the dependent's ECA, transcript from OOU has been a challenge but surely it will end in praise.
My e-In-law... Just keep at it, every strong doors would be pulled down for your sake.

No I have not received ITA, expecting this Wednesday but my score can accommodate my spouse now. But I can’t find where to change to accompany
Change your marital status to "married", allow the page to refresh and answer "Yes" to the question "will your spouse be accompanying you to Canada?". I do not expect anything different from this. Try it out.

Morning house,
Please where to I edit the part for spouse on my application. When I entered the pool I put spouse as unaccompany now I want to change it to accompanying. But I can’t find it anywhere.unser marital status it’s one question that is there. Pls help
I'm not sure if you can change that post ITA. If at all you can, you must also know that your CRS score would be recalculated and if it falls below the round's draw cut-off, your application would be refused and your fee not refunded.

If I were the reviewing officer, even if your recomputed score were to meet the cut-off, I'll think you cleverly did it to achieve something. They might end up drilling through your application thereby delaying it.

These are my thoughts

Please, can one use funds in domiciliary account as the only source for POF?

The account would be seven months old, with the full required funds, by the time we apply to enter the pool.

Newmum0615, Mcstan18
Yes you can, if the funds in it is at least the minimum required amount.

I have none. People who do this are usually already resident in Canada and may not bother to put others in the picture. My friend sponsored his wife but was sounding evasive when I inquired, so I had to let the matter rest. I'm sure you'd have all the information you'd be needing for that from the link I posted and from other landed folks who'd already have first hand experience.

Please where is this 8777 in LRWS coming from, I keep seeing constant reference to this 'magic' number? Minimum required is CLB 7 which is IELTS 6.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=666&top=29

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/language-requirements/language-testing.html
CLB 7 is like the 200 120 JAMB sets as pass mark. 8777 is the score that gets you admitted into UNN to study medicine & surgery grin.

Hope you understand now.
