Newmum0615: Welcome sister. There is an application fee of N600,000 you pay before you can start the procedure. It is termed 'Page 1 exemption fee'. Pay via Remita, collect your code and send via PM to @Elfmannisback and @mcstan18. They are the Treasurers of IRCC office. They will issue you a receipt, then you can use that one to collect your number tag for visa stamping. Visa stamping takes place in my house on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Stamping fee is N300,000 per family member above 18, children below 18 years is N299,500. For single men, it is N450,000 (why you never marry since? ) After that, you can travel to Canada and file for citizenship immediately. Very easy process. Start now! Spread the good news. You've secured jobs for us before landing. Your flight fare on @Elfmannisback, for being a darling |

Darlken: Please, I would like to start this program for my siblings. One studied medical laboratory science and has only 1-year internship experience working with a Federal Medical Center. Will that counts as experience. For my sister, she has 1year experience in an Audit firm during her Nysc. Will that count as experience as well. They have a good IELTS score. I am thinking of starting for them. Please help. Thank you You're a good sibling. I think you should direct them to this forum so they get to see things for themselves, firsthand. Sadly, the 1 year internship won't count as acceptable work experience for the one sibling. The other sibling is fine. You should drag them to page 1 of this thread to complete your good deed. They'll be grateful to you for the kind gesture. |

Elfmannisback: The thing no tire u? Because I studied the process, I want him to do the same thing. Bad quality of Nigerians. Who no no sey police report and medicals are done upfront? ... Him go soon ask when to pay. I've been observing lately but I know this phase will pass. Rather than be nice about asking for the favor, the NE state took it out on his to-be intellectual benefactor - 34 and arrogant |

grammy010: Thank you for the information. So it wasn't really about misrepresentation, it was just some careless oversight from the applicant. He has a 2years and 10months working experience which was what his employer stated on the reference form but he carelessly approximated it to 3years in his questnnaire while going into the pool and that was how he arrived at the CRS that got him the ITA. I smell something and that thing isn't nice at all. I hope there's a miracle. If not, it's either there's a refusal or a ban or even both. This is clear misrepresentation. People really need to be very careful.
I remember my friend Luffyhaki here. We spoke about his and he decided to wait it out until he was sure of 3 complete years of work experience before landing his ITA. This person above would've just waited for another 2 months to land his ITA but rather chose to do it the fast way. Like I said, I hope a miracle happens.
For me, a miracle here would be if he doesn't get a ban. Refusal is 99% certain. The remaining 1% for benefit of doubt |

Clayrex101: Dear Nairalanders. Top of the day to you. May your week be blessed and fruitful. I just realized that I totally forgot to mention that I was refused a Canadian student visa in my application. And I have submitted. Any idea on what I should do? Should I leave it as it is? Or how do I add that info to an already submitted application? Thanks. Raise a CSE at once detailing the omission. No cause for alarm yet |

Bobority: Hello everyone. Please I have some questions . I have done a WES ICAP evaluation of my transcripts when I wanted to go for masters in the USA I evaluated my BSc. Do I need to do another one? Or is there a specific kind of wes evaluation acceptable? .Are there other cheaper evaluation companies apart from WES? . Do I have to evaluate my degree from the USA . Is an associate degree acceptable for the EE process? . Should I take the IELTS before doing the evaluation? Is IELTS easier than TOEFL? (I have taken TOEFL before). . Does a PHD program or any degree at all in progress add to your points? .If a couple wants to apply and the man has more degrees than the wife, but the wife is younger (in her 20’s, but man in 30’s) who will have a higher point? Thank you for your response in advance. The answers to your questions can be found HERE |

engrtoib: Hi seniors in da house. Please can I still claim point for EE from a relative in Canada who is also been used to claim point by a family member for MPNP ? I'm a little confused because I learned that someone in Canada can only sponsor one person annually. Thanks. One or more persons can claim points for a Canadian PR or citizen sibling under the express entry program. This is different from sponsorship.
One can only sponsor parent(s), grandparent(s), Spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner and/or dependent children under the Federal scheme. This also differs from the provincial supporter requirement as seen in some provinces like Manitoba. From my past experiences, more than one family member had gotten Manitoba nomination while using the same family member as supporter. In fact, if a sibling meets the conditions to be an eligible supporter, they may support as many relatives as possible at any given time. This requires that the supporter must: - Be a Canadian citizen or PR - Have been living in Manitoba continuously for at least one year - Provide documented proof of Manitoba residence - Provide documented proof of familial relationship to the applicant
Your fear only applies when it's a friend or distant relative supporter, which requires that a supporter must not be supporting the settlement of another MPNP applicant, nominee or person under another Canadian immigration program at the time of application.
You may want to comb through this Manitoba page and this LINK to know more. |
