So how does someone owning a business get his reference letter, which will be used for POF(coporate account or savings account),do such person present his company tax certificate or you have to do a personal one?
The reason I'm asking all these is because I own a construction company,so how do I present all these?
Thanks.
I believe you already have the answer you seek. In addition, those corporate bank account documents are only for proof of Existence and Ownership of your Company and not for PoF. Use your individual savings/current/FD or any other approved secure investment accounts for that purpose.

You may also consider doing a transfer from the Company account to your chosen PoF account with a letter (perhaps on the Company's letterhead) showing that the Company transferred to you for the purpose of immigration. I do not know exactly how that is done but you can check page 0 like happytbaby advised. Several people here have done this and gotten CoPR.

Your company is a separate legal entity from you. My advice: Transfer the money to your personal account and include proof to show the source of the money (i.e your corporate account).
Spot on! The bolded mirrors my thought

Please house can I use bank statements of a corporate account operated by me and my hubby as POF, I am the PA, I work in a financial institution, thanks
You'd be better off using an individual or joint account. Corporate accounts are for businesses and you (not your business) are the applicant.

This is where the risk lies. Add her too soon and it will drop the scores, wait too long and they will say your application has already been concluded.
It is always possible to add a spouse in this case, if and only if the applicant hasn't landed. The processing would only be prolonged but yes, it is still possible. It's just for him to make sure it doesn't happen too early cos of CRS

Good afternoon fam,

If 25% of pensions equates to 100% POF. Will this be acceptable to CIC? Anyone tried this before?
That's a big retirement ahead.

Well, your pension fund satisfies the CIC requirement for PoF regardless of its volume. I would use it without batting a lid if I were in your shoes

Thanks for this, I got it yesterday but was derailed from submitting my details due to the caveats below lipsrsealed...does it mean we can apply for it in spite of the criteria outlined?

"In-TAC is hosting this virtual career expo for two groups of people:

1) All who have registered with In-TAC for employment support, i.e. the clients of In-TAC’s Pre-Arrival Services and other programs such as IT, Accounting, MAPLE, JSW

2) Any job seekers who are legal to work in Canada."

Please confirm.. I will do same... wink
There's the option of express entry in that dropdown list. I think that's what you should select (at least that's what I just did). Moreso, the fair is basically for foreign applicants according to the youtube link posted.

OK sir.. Thank you so very much.

Was actually considering NOC 2113 based on my BSc certificate. God bless you
Sorry, degree discipline doesn't determine which NOC one would fall under. Job roles do.

Oh dear ! An angel finally responds. May God bless you earnestly for me sir.

As executive assistant to the group chairman My JD basically includes these.

- Keeping, managing files of mining sites and oil wells for the company.
- Confirming itineraries and meetings for the executive
- Keeping record of daily events and diaries
- Assisting the geologists in field analysis and interpretations
- Writing mails, responding to mails etc, etc..
- Carrying out major computer works in the office
Check 1222.
You should also comb through page 0 to help you understand many more things.

Hello guys, thanks for this forum. I Don run come here. As US no wan hear word again o.

Please eehh. I wan start this canaanland journey.
I have my BSc in geology(2:2) (does class of degree affect CRS points or evaluation for WES end? If yes and I need to do more grad certificates. Should I continue in Geology or something else that has to do with my JD.

I work in an oil company, not drilling company though. But my Job description there is secretarial in nature, executive assistant to the group chairman.. So now I'm confused o. I have read through and through for ideas but I'm not seeing any. What NOC should I choose.

Also if one is not paid through bank.. What else can you show to verify work place.. Ejoor. God bless you all for the good work.
- Class of degree has no effect on CRS
- If you post your JD, we could help you match them to an appropriate NOC. An accountant in an oil company wouldn't search amongst the engineering-related NOCs. It's possible you're searching in the wrong areas.
- Employment letter, promotion letters (if any), e-mail correspondences (would be a more persuasive evidence if your official mail is hosted on the Company's domain), payslips etc

This is encouraging. Please dear I have a question which I know you might have an answer. What's the NOC for someone that has RN and RM from school of nursing and midwifery respectively? I want to be sure that my wife choses the best NOC for her qualifications. Thanks
3012 or 3233. Confirm with her which one of these apply the most.

finally caught up with the thread

BC don't reschedule for speaking..when you first registered for the exam, you must have seen an email where they state that speaking test is done within 7 days of the written test. You can go ahead to write LRW on the 21st for practice sake but I'll recommend booking a test with IDP. I'm writing on the 12 May as well
They do actually. My January 6 test was in Ibadan and the speaking test was initially scheduled for January 4. I contacted the BC officials and explained to them that I would be going to Ibadan from Lagos for the test and may not be able to do the trip twice in as many days. They acquiesced and moved my speaking to 6th. He can give it a try too.

Hello house, you all are doing a great Job. I have a few questions.
1. Can a retired Poilce officer apply for Express Entry
2. If yes, what are the kind of Jobs available for him when he gets to Canada based on his so many years of experince?
Your response will be appreciated, Thanks
Not to burst anyone's bubble but for the said person to have statutorily retired, he must've either;
1. Been in service for a period not exceeding 35 years
2. Attained the official retirement age of 65 or thereabout
3. Been terminally ill and forced into retirement

Either of these would be a major militating factor to the person's eligibility in the first place. Sorry, there's likely to be no hope (through express entry).

Guys, please pardon me if i am taking you backwards. Please bear with me. I am a bit confused with which result to evaluate with WES. I got a Masters from UK last year and i have my certificate. I have not worked since then. I only worked after my undergraduate. With my Masters i will have a CRS of 470 and with my BSc and PGD i will have a CRS of 463. Please kindly advice on which i can evaluate. Evaluating just my Masters will be really smooth as my school will respond swiftly.
Please i need your humble response.
N/B: I am confused because a friend told me if i use Masters then work experience has to be one i have done after i finished Masters. Dont know how true.
Please gurus in the house, please guide me. Just want to clear the doubt so i can evaluate and get into the pool. Thanks
Hello sir, the bolded isn't true.
In addition, you are at liberty to choose which element(s) of parameters you wish to claim points for, where you have multiple valid ones. Be it for employment, education or language proficiency. For this purpose however, if I were you, I'd go with the masters for the reasons you stated - higher CRS score and short response time. Forget what your friend said, it's "misrepresentation" wink
