Just saw this... $12,300 for yourself, this like 3m or so, is this a must?

Anyone gotten ppr, With just nysc one year work experience?
I swear this stuff it's very confusing, too many acronyms and different stuff.
- Yes, you must have the complete PoF or more but never less. It's approximately CAD12,500 not CAD12,300

- Yes, people have gotten PPR with one year NYSC experience. You need to check your eligibility first since you have just one year work experience.

- Don't worry, Rome wasn't built in a day. You'd get there in no distant time and start troubleshooting other people's problems too.

I am also interested in the North Cyprus PCC links o
My brothers on this forum looking for a way out of the Cyprus PCC problem, kindly share when you finally find a way through.

I ran into a friend yesterday, who I thought was in the UK for years only for him to tell me that his UK plans fell through and then he landed in Cyprus. I later found out that he's also been in the EE pool too. He had been refused once and declined ITA due to difficulty in obtaining this same PCC. When I asked, he said he sent details/proof of his efforts in trying to obtain one (I can't tell how sufficient they were anyway).

I'll ask him to make more efforts and receive responses, whether positive or negative before submitting again. I think the first was refused because he sent only his communication without any responses to show that the PCC couldn't be obtained from diaspora. I pray that you guys find a way out but please keep us up to date.

Good Friday morning

Oya babe, back to EE business mode
I do not intend to get into any arguments on this, I usually don't anyway. But you see the bolded right up there, is just the summary of it all. Bless you bro.

I was never complaining about myself as I was barely affected, but looking at people recount their gory experiences had me flattened out. You know what? It wasn't because there was a certain summit or the likes, it was because Mr. President had to attend a mere party. It is shameful to say the least.

I wish to rant a bit please...

See people trekking like Israelites in Lagos since yesterday because of a president's visit. One aged woman among others that I gave a lift said she had trekked the equivalent of 12km to get home last night. That's about the length of third mainland bridge that a quinquagenerian traversed on foot because of one man. I'm sure there were others in worse situations but I could only do so much.

Today, businesses have been forced to a halt without recourse to the daily struggles of these business owners. I struggle to understand where we are headed as a country, but I sure know it's not a forward/upward movement. I cannot paint a picture in my head of New York getting shut down because DT is coming to town or Lyon roads closed because Emmanuel Macron wants to attend a Mayor's birthday. It is well with Nigeria

lol. Okay, thanks for clarifying.
That would mean that paid internships in between studies can be used as work experience, all other things (like NOC, minimum work hours, etc) being equal. Right?

@newmum1615 and NOC Specialist, please what NOC can a Bank Teller you?

Gracias

The NOCs that I'd seen before now for bank teller have been NOC C. I don't know if anyone else has seen and used any other one that falls under 0, A or B. The JD will go a long way to helping out with the matching

Madam,

The one year paid internship (work experience) is based on an IT role (User Support Technician - NOC B). However, the person also has five years work experience as a Customer Care Officer (NOC C) which cannot be used a primary NOC. So can this person claim 3 years work experience out of the 6 years?

Thanks

CC other elders in the house

Hakuna Matata
Just be sure it's not the NOC C job he's intending to claim 2 years from. You already know it won't fly

Objection my Lord. grin The above requirement is for CEC candidates. Unpaid internships cannot be used but one can use paid internship if it falls under NOC A, B or 0.

Cc: DadR
Lol. But your honor, the inquirer had already stated that the internship was a paid one, which I considered before stating that the experience can be used provided the applicant wasn't a full time student (among others) at the time of such internship.

Isn't this okay your honor? wink

Good evening my people and how was work today?

Please I have a quick question.

Can one use a year paid internship to claim a year work experience? Since people use one year NYSC as a year work experience, so can someone who did a year IT after OND claim one year work experience too?

An answer is expediently needed.

Hakuna Matata
If this internship was part of the requirements for your studies, then I'm afraid it will not count as part of work experience. Internships and apprenticeships completed before graduating do not count as skilled work experience. They are considered part of an educational program.

If it wasn't, then it would count as long as you were not a full-time student at the time. However, you must have gained the equivalent amount of experience as someone who worked full-time for at least one year (1560 hours)

See THIS and THAT

I went to their office myself and they said their limit is $1000. I think I will just do a try your luck thing and see the one that would go through. Unfortunately I have to use friends ATMs as I don't have accounts in these banks. It seems to me that some of these bank employees don't know what they are doing.
Obviously, most of them are oblivious of certain internal memos and updates until there's a strong need for its application. Though, most times they prefer to "err on the side of caution" by not being the first to action on such updates.

My friend works at first bank head office and he confirmed to me before I posted it here. I hope they get acquainted with the stuff before my RPRF payment time.

It is, two years is a bit too long though. You may want to look at maybe a year. Also, you need to arrange for how to get your PR cards ...maybe someone can courier it to you. I pray they don't ask you to come and retake pictures though.
As in ehn... The bolded is a nightmarish scenario that no one would ever wish to encounter but it's a possibility too.

E jor oooooo,

I've been helping someone with processing things and I advised that PA's spouse who is good in French should write both IELTS and the French test. Spouse has written the french test but I still insisted that she writes IELTS in order to increase their scores for better chance of clinching ITA in good time cos age isn't on their side.

I hope I am right......

Only the OP and her hubby can decide what they want to do on the drawing board. I can only advice.
I think it's because the man isn't a Canadian by birth or naturalization. He only inherited the status from his own father. Geebaby10 please make the most of this information and save yourselves a potential difficulty in bringing your newborn over to Canada

You will need to think about that decision properly. Doesn't make much sense to me if you ask me. You will have to sponsor the baby of which I doubt you will meet the requirements to sponsor any family member while residing in Nigeria.
Also note that sponsorship can take up to 1 year.

Click on the link below.

After this, go back to the drawing board.
This is a sad one. The only drawing board I see here is canceling the US birth plans before someone gifts America their baby. I can't even imagine the pain in those Jordanian parents' heart each day they see their girl say "Hello" from the other side.

Good evening E-family.

It's quite difficult to get work reference letter from my coy with 'To whom it may concern' because they don't know where the letter is going and the MD, who must be informed before printing such letter on the coy's letter head will ask series of questions and even think I'm trying to leave for another coy.

So, I've arranged with my boss to print it on a plain A4 paper and sign with his business card attached; while I attach my offer letter and bank statement showing my monthly salaries from inception to date.

Elders in the house, will this suffice?
While you are at it, see (part of) the requirements below. Emphasis on the bolded:

The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

a reference or experience letter from the employer, which:
- should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),

Hello bros, please a quick question, how does today's draw point to a back to back to back draw? Doesn't it just point to a rearrangement of dates for draws?
Am really as suprised as anyone about the draw.
Brotherly, I did not imply that it is a pointer to back-to-back draws, neither does it signal a revamp in draw dates. We're only being hopeful that more draws would happen in quick succession (to favor lower CRS score folks in the pool). Where it doesn't, we continue the struggle with open minds.

Monday ITA... What a pleasant surprise! Boss we get hope ooo if the trend continues. I want to assume the previous cutoff was a kind of bearish correction. I pray for a successive lower lows in the subsequent CRS cutoffs.

Hoping and praying for back-to-back draws of not less than 3,000 invitations.
