Don't ever lose hope. You will testify this year in Jesus name, Amen!

You that I regularly remember in my prayers. Taaa, gerrat, you will be in Canada before the end of this year. When they are tired of setting high scores, they will will do one draw with 415 for your sake.
Let me gather my staff here to join in shouting AMEN. Emmasonic4me had better joined the chorus.
Verily verily I say unto you, I shall feast with your household in Canada during your next child dedication wink

Good day everyone,
Please I need answers to some questions as I have been going thru this thread,my questions are as follows:
1. I am a lawyer with 5yrs post call experience both in litigation and commercial practice and I am currently the legal manager of a coy...but I want to start this EE but dont know how to start. Welcome Barrister. Start from pages 0 of PART 2 and PART 3
2. I read here that I will have to sit for IELTS,and have my cert evaluated but I am confused whether my wife should also write the IELTS and also evaluate her cert too? Yes, if you intend to claim points for her education and language test scores. To know more about the entire process, CLICK HERE
3. She has not changed her maiden name on her passport and the passport is still valid for 3yrs,can she write her IELTS with it if atal she will have to write it? YES
4.which score should I have for my ielts exams?and if my wife is not going to sit for the exams, what are our chances? At the minimum, you'd need to score 8777 in LRWS respectively. Your chances, with your expected assessment report would be fair but to make the most of the opportunity, she'd need to write IELTS as well

Thank you all and God bless as you answer my questions. Amen. God bless you too sir.
Please see responses in blue biro above

I feel I should create a new one incase the score doesn't come down.
Pls can I send a PM to you?
Thank you
I don't understand how creating a new profile compensates for the draws not coming down.

Anyway, from what I understand from this your story, I'd also suggest that you decline ITA at this time to avoid stories that touch, input the correct details and wait for the next draw. With the 450 something that you have with less than 3 years experience, you would easily land an ITA. Having a CRS score of 1200 doesn't guarantee you of a speedy processing neither does 430, so just gather enough to get an ITA and do your thing with peace of mind.

Happy Sunday Good people. Trust your weekend is coming on well.

I have a question, what if after all this pre-ITA, and Post CoPR anxiety you get to Canada(Port of Entry only) and Rapture takes place, what will you do??
It's like your pastor preached about rapture today. Well, please gift me your settlement fund. It should be counted to you for righteousness and increase your chances of making heaven cheesy cheesy

You too are female? huh I was about calling you bros now now o
People please help us attach that small (m) or (f) next to your moniker. Gender ought not to be a confidential sontin.

Back to the matter, no worry you go pass am. Stuttering or not isn't tested, not even correctness of the information provided. So even if you said during your narrative that SHEHU GARBA(ge) is the current US president, you won't be docked marks. But if you use "is" where "was" should be used, then that's bad even if you flowed very smoothly

Hello Good Morning Nairalanders,

Please i need advice i have payslips from one of my previous employers. The problem is that the payslips don't carry the COMPANY LOGO, NAME, ADDRESS OR TELEPHONE NUMBERS. In fact there is nothing on the payslips that indicate that it was issued by the Company, it just shows the salary amount, bonuses (whenever they were paid), tax deductions etc. However i have bank statements and email alerts showing these amounts deposited into my bank account. i just wanted to know if a combination of both (payslips and Bank statements/email alerts) will suffice.

Thanks

P.S: This is including the experience letter of course.
That payslip is not a persuasive evidence in my opinion. You might as well leave it out of your supporting documents file. The reference letter and bank statements should suffice

A collection of success cases on Nairaland

After doing the rejection cases, felt I should do the success cases. So, I went through the "PPR declarations" on this Part 3 thread. GlitteringStar has done a good job of compiling this already, so it was just a matter of clicking. Some of these "declarations" shared important details and some were downright inspirational. Thought to share some important summaries from these you might find useful. Details concern self-employment, contesting refusals, following up with CIC after much delay, gift deeds and other POF issues, NOC, etc. Note that these guys all got PPR already, so they must have done something right. At the same time, what works for A doesn't necessarily work for B, so just use this as cautiously as you can. You can go through the main posts themselves to get a clearer picture.
Baba thanks for this. God bless you

grin grin grin Thank you all for the encouragements. My wife cleared the thing ooo. She received provisional test result confirmation via text message from the center we registered with. Note: Not in Naija, somewhere in the UAE.
Her result: L 8.5, R 7.5, W 7, S 8. Her age is 27 while I am 34.
WES evaluation ongoing. WES received all transcripts last last week wink. Wife's credentials - 2 years diploma in accounting and finance, 3 years BSc in Accounting. My credentials: 4 years BSc in Geology and 1 year Diploma in Microbiology. We are both hoping for 2 or more certificates equivalent.
Both with more than 3 years work experience..

Yet to decide on who to be the primary applicant.
Without thinking twice, just make your wife the PA as soon as ECA is ready. She's got the age and IELTS advantage over you.

You should also hand over your Nairaland account to her cheesy
