There are cheap 10-cell 18650 powerbank case from AE why not buy one and get the expansion and higher capacity that you need?

That too may be a factor in the failure, you can always buy cheap cell wrappers at AE.

Talking of not using BMS, here's an 18650 gone ballistic. Note that I've several modules like this working successfully without BMS for months and still going good.

But this one nearly burned down the shed.

Do you own a spot welder? I noticed that it appears as if the cells are soldered. Interesting that just a few of the cells took the hit. Also when running the test on the cells, try charging each at 1A and check for any that is unusually warmer than the others, that one will be a torn in the flesh even if it passes your test if connected with others without high temperature issues.

Yeah... I like him very much. He is smart, dexterous and is making some good money from his YT and affiliate marketing stuff.

Yes, he is a great guy, he delivered as promised. Putting the thing together to start the life of LFP. One thing to say immediately; the Voltage holds. Your voltage will stay above 50 until the battery is squeezed dried of life. Makes it dangerous to use lithium without monitoring. I also did some capacity test and I got 85Ah out of 100Ah with my voltage still around 52.

Do you really need to monitor again when a BMS is already doing the monitoring for you? Once the battery discharge limit is reached, the BMS effectively do the disconnection.

This MakeSkyBkue has become foolishly expensive. They've started flexing muscle. I bought this 60amps for 20k then.

I needed to buy more CC and saw that they've started growing wings. I just went the way of their competitor straight. PowMr product. The last two 60amps I bought was for 23k each. Aside from the fact that PowMr has not been able to come up with a Bluetooth version of their CC unlike MakeSkyBlue, every other thing about their product is as good as, or possibly better than MakeSkyBlue's.

I noticed that the PowMr CC has a menu option/page that shows the error code that the CC may have. The manual teaches you how to interpret the error codes. The MakeSkyBlue does not have that such that if the CC has any issues, you're left with gambling for what the error is.

PowMr and Makeskyblue are basically the same, buy whichever one is cheaper
Though I've got some favorable experience with makeskyblue where it never failed even when abused, I can't say the same for PowMr.

@OP I'll suggest you get a Makeskyblue 60A Solar Charge controller capable of handling up to 2kw PV even though it has a rated maximum PV of 1440W, the idea is to add two extra PV to boost your total PV to 1800W. Also you can only use the power guzzlers (hood, etc) during peak sun and ditch 'em once the sun is down if you cannot ditch em forever.

GTB always makes sense jare. No knee jerk reflex when it comes to hiking exchange rate or even reducing same when it drops. The latter is what peeps bank on when refunds from AE and Alibaba are made. GTB usually pays back in the prevailing exchange rate.

Rate as at yesterday on AE is 365 naira.

I once use their card, lost it and was too lazy to reactivate another and decided to use Access and now they are acting crazy with their rates.

Don't use a personal account for that, that is why businessmen use their business account. That way you don't really need to know the person transferring to you. When you use your personal account, it is assumed you know the person you are dealing with.

Since u did this in the atm premises, there should be cctv. Get the bank to open the cctv for investigation. Get your lawyer involved, if the bank claims no cctv Sue the bank.

CCTV can't really help him. Have you seen the resolution of bank's CCTV cameras? Most of them are like 1MP bad camera, you cannot really see anything clearly more than 5m away. How can the CCTV footage prove that the person he was conversing with asked him to do what he did since they don't have audio on it? He should quietly pay, if that is all that will resolve this, and learn his lesson which ain't even big considering the circumstances.

Some things to NEVER do in bank or anywhere for that matter.

No 1) Never accept transfer from someone you do not know to give them cash.

No 2) Never assist anyone to withdraw cash from ATM, the person you are assisting may be a thief trying to hide his face from the ever present camera on ATM.

No 3) Never render any kind of help outside or inside banking hall, except to point the person asking question to either a bank staff or security.

No 4) Report any sudden deposit from an unknown source to your bank, instruct them to reverse the deposit, never think someone somewhere have decided to "bless your hustle". You'll be surprised to get a visit from the Anti Kidnap Squad for that alert.

omo, that would be my first and last experience buying an LG freezer!!!
worst are those units with internal condenser, abi evaporator....i returned it to LG, they tried repairing it under waranty, i took it home...3 days later sh,it doesnt chill again...........took it back again it stayed months with them...picked it up again...fairly better, but i knew issue wasnt solved, inspite of the claims of the LG people...cos mine only develops frost on the lower half ((classic symptom of low refrigrant/leaking refrigrant)))..the cooling has gradually reduced over time..till now..it chills like a water dispenser...only manages to keep food if there is phcn, and gets warm quickly as soon as phcn goes.

i regret ever going near an LG Freezer, should have stuck to my tried and tested haier thermoccol, the extra 30w consumption iosnt that bad

i also returned a samsung freezer for same issue, ..b4 i settled on the LG.
I would advise anyone who intends to buy freezer...to simply go to the shop..allow them run the freezer for 1hr plus...come back and chk the freezer...and ensure its chilling the whole top to bottom, dont buy any useless stories the sellers will spin, waranty ko, waranty ni....
