It's like you just experienced some new stuff about lithium.....was charging my battery was charging as 48A yesterday with a smile. Lifepo4 is cool, even if what I get from it is 5 years considering the performance I am getting I will still be fulfilled.
Planning a DYI Lifepo4 soon to increase my battery bank capacity.
That is one of the advantages, the ability to charge at supersonic speed and high current without fear of damage to the batteries. Lithium is just the future.

If you are still undecided here is a piece of advice, going lithium from lead acid battery is like upgrading from a horse ride to an electric vehicle. grin

I took a quick look on the spec, it says 4A max current yet on the description it says maximum power 750w. That does not seem to add up.
Chinko just dey copy and paste specifications without regard to what is being sold.

Ok, pls send me the online link.
Here is a cool portable charger, good thing about this one is that you get to choose the voltage and current of charging. You can choose the 0-36V 28A option.

Boss, good morning sir. Where can I get the following soonest? I urgently need a 24v Lithium Battery Charger or transformerless 24v Inverter that quickly charges 24v 200AH Lithium Battery.
I don't know where they sell such in Nigeria.

100Ah
Ideally, most lead acid batteries are recommended charged at C/10. That is 100AH should be charged at 100/10= 10A which is a rule of thumb rule as some can take higher current, that is where smart chargers comes in. So in your setup it may be good or bad depending on the battery chemistry and the behaviour of chargers used.

Not yet, bro. Thank you for your reply. I opened it but unable to find the fault. Though it was hard to do desoldering of those FET from the board. So I have to leave it for now.
Ok, thought you got one. Was the FET the failed component?
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by mctfopt: 5:12pm On Mar 01, 2020

Yes! It is a setting problem

No! Not battery related. But snoozing means not charguing thus user may continually drain battery.
He can always equalise them later.
If you don't mind, can you drop the solution here?

My FlexMax 80 was displaying 0V and when I switched off the PV breakers and read the PV wires and they were reading fine and on it back on FM 80 started up again but still displays 0V as input. Output correctly displaying from batteries. House is powered normally thru battery bank and generator. Checked input wires : no input until I unplugged only the positive wire from the Flexmax system again and it was reading 112V. When plugged back: displaying 0V and meter shows no voltage. Trouble seems to be within FM80. Is like the PV input is shorted. I will like to know the possible component that gets shorted in order to fix it asap.
What could it be?
Thanks.
Did you later get a fix for this issue?

i top up with distilled water.
lemme explain better, a 12v fla battery has 6 cells, i notice in mine, 2 or 3 of these cells will go down and need topping up before the other cells in the same battery need topping up.

in a normal battery, all cells should go down at the same time, and need topping up same time. mine isnt so
Oh, I see. Mr Niyi just said what I had wanted to say.

Loads are 2 1hp ACs and 1 1.5hp AC + a microwave and Freezer and Fridge and Water Dispenser always on. At night we power down to 2 1hp ACs only - the 1.5hp is always off at night.
With the crazy high temperatures, running ACs is no longer a luxury, I overheard someone say he spends 4k daily running generator to power his AC. The heat no be small thing. Keep the flag flying.

That AE thingy is somehow. An order that I've placed for over 3 weeks has remained unshipped till now.

I've had to open trade dispute for some other items that have not arrived and the purchase protection had ran out.

I understand their constraint, really and even I myself will wanna be careful about getting stuffs from there after I experienced some episode of flu around early January when I took delivery of some (like 12 large parcels) items. I didn't have a face mask on or used gloves. The only conscious IPC protocol I observed was to avoid touching my face with my hands thru and also made sure to wash my hands when I was thru with opening the parcels. But a week later, I experienced the type of sore throat and catarrh that I haven't had in a long time, even with serious headaches. I was scared and literarily avoided families and friends for the 10 days that I had that flu.

It may just be the ordinary flu that comes with the hash harmattan but hey, I had reasons to link the parcels to the flu one week after, in my own mind o.

I read that parcels from China being a vehicle for the transmision of the Covid-19 is very remote, but I won't take chances either.
Even sellers are super slow to respond to questions asked. The COVID-19 has really dealt a heavy blow to China's commerce and industry. You'll be lucky to have goods bought shipped under a week. I have one pending for the last 15 days, I can't cancel as there is no other store selling it. Shopping now is now for the extreme patient people. Things now move at a snail's pace. But if your country is under quarantine, that is to be expected cry

But now i have upgraded to a 2.2kw array,a 60amp pmw, and a 24v/ 200ah setup.
ojeysky:
Why not MPPT, with such an array I suggest you use MPPT controller instead. The performance will shock you when compared to pwm.
I agree with ojesky, you are better off with an MPPT SCC. That way you get to maximize your 2.2kv PV array's yield. Welcome to the green club grin
