Believe me. If you consider the benefit, the years of faithful, near constant power delivery and the juice you get outta lithium and juxtapose it with what you get from lead acid chemistry (except lead carbon, I suppose), the price will not be a set back.

Besides the affordability of lithium is improving by the day. Thanks to Asian manufacturers. If it were to be only Pylontech that is in the market, lithium will still remain a pipe dream for many.

The Americans may give you quality at neck breaking prices, but the Asians give you more options of quality based on your pocket. The end game is they drive price down and eventually you get quality at par with what the Americans offer at affordable price.
Yeah, I echo the same sentiments too. Lithium batteries is the future, special thanks to Chinese for making it possible for many to enjoy the benefits of this awesome battery technology without breaking the bank smiley

Suddenly Nigerian police now have fuel to travel long distance to arrest someone on "tips" that he is using military uniform? Sweet! But when it comes to something serious like arm robbery intervention, happening behind their station, their vehicle won't have any fuel and their guns suddenly will be out of bullets. These guys think we are stupid!

Lithium taking over, since the big Boss are now moving to lithium, lead acid will now be cheaper for beginners like us to buy

Win win for everybody
Taking over is just for some peeps on this thread, as it stands over 99.9% still rocking their lead acid. The reasons tend from the pricing, availability, and of course lack of the knowledge of the technology.

I want something inexpensive. My ma hardly watches TV so it is a waste to setup something large. I just want her to have light 24/7 and have means of powering TV if she decides to watch TV.
You want two things that may be hard to get: 24/7 power supply and very cheap hardly go together. Try the 99k package, may just be what you need. Just know you always get what you pay for in renewable energy, if you pay too cheap you always get what you paid for in terms of it being unable to serve you properly. Just my two cents, as always let's wait for the experts grin

Thanks. I visited the link and was able to update myself. I saw it at a friends house and thought of buying for my mum due to it's compact nature. But 24ah battery? That is too small for 32" TV for a pensioner who will watch TV for long.
You better off buying, say luminous 12v inverter about 50k with one 200ah battery at say between 70-90k. I guess it can serve or buy the 99k Luminous Delite Package

Thanks boss!
The amps and mixer is about 1800W, additional load to this won't exceed say 300w

The Speakers are in pairs (4sets). Then there's one big PROEL combo speaker, 2 feedback speakers on the altar and 2 more for the instrumentalists. That's about it.

Initially I estimated 10kvA for the whole church but because of funds I was asked to just cater for the equipments and maybe like 3 industrial fans and about 6 light points. In view of this I'm thinking of using 5kva of which the equipments must be covered.

Would that work?
How about separating these loads you want to power with the inverter from other loads, then measure the current drawn while putting all the equipment at it's max. Eg the highest volume for the speaker, the maximum speed for the fans, etc. Once you have this total load current, estimating the size of the inverter becomes easier. You'll need a clamp meter to make this happen. Good luck.

I try to be fair to the sellers, I only open dispute when all evidences indicates I'll never get my package. Eg I just opened dispute for a package I bought and was shipped in 4th December, 2019 yesterday. There was no tracking information, but I patiently waited. But I got no other option than to open dispute today to get my money back as it appears I'll never get my package.

Hi, I ordered a phone from aliexpress and the scheduled delivery date is 29th of February and the tracking number shows that my phone has left the country of origin since 8th of January. How long do you think aliexpress would take to refund me when I ask for my money back
You still have two weeks to the scheduled date of delivery. You can only ask for refund if after 60 days your phone's tracking number did not indicate that you or someone using your name have not signed for the package or the package has not made it to your local postal agency. AliExpress has a 60-day money back guarantee. If after the 60th day and there is no proof of you or someone signing the package in your name have picked the package, you get your refund when you open dispute. Do not be in a hurry to open dispute or you may probably lose.

Good evening house, please I want to order a smartwatch and I see the seller has an option to use TNT for shipping, will I be charged extra if the item gets to Nigeria
Most FedEx office run TNT services, it's hard to say whether customs will ask for custom duties until goods arrive Nigeria. Sometimes what determines it is the value and make of the product. I've noticed that Nigeria customs are in love with Apple products. Even if it is sent via NIPOST, they always love to slap a huge duty to it. I saw someone the other day lamenting in NIPOST over the 31k custom duty he was asked to pay over an iPhone 8 sent by the sister.

The 60th day should 17th Feb.buh end of negotiation is on 21st feb. What do u tink are my chances in this case? And can I open another dispute later in any case this goes invalid?
Opening disputes after the 60th day only INCREASES your chances of winning but does not GUARANTEE it. Though, I've never lost dispute for 6 years of buying on AliExpress. I guess I'm lucky or I just strictly follow the rules. You don't get to open another dispute after AliExpress comes in to settle it. I don't know about your chances, but you stand a very high chance of winning if the following stands true:

1) Tracking information shows the package never got to you. Eg if the package tracking shows tracking information of someone signing for it at Benin, while your address the seller has is in Lagos. Then you will win the dispute. But if it shows someone has signed for the package in your state; you've lost the dispute.

2) It is over 60 days and tracking information shows the package is on transit.

3) There is no tracking information and it is over 60 days.

4) The seller gave you a wrong tracking number, eg a seller once gave me a tracking number of someone in Ghana. I won the dispute.

I've also seen many win a dispute they open before 60 days.

5) You don't have a record of opening disputes every time. Yes, the AliExpress team check your records before deciding if they'll grant dispute in your favour. If they notice you open dispute on every item you bought including those you get. Be rest assured they'll side with the seller. At the risk of generalising, Indians are fond of opening disputes with irrelevant details, an eg., package of received goods is dented. This is something that is very much of the control of the seller. It could be from the reckless package handling of their local postal agency. Because of that, most of them lose their disputes and bïtch about it grin grin

What will happen if u close order less than the 60days buyer protection time huh. I opened dispute around a week before the 60th day.
To increase your chances at winning, always open dispute AFTER the 60th day and not BEFORE.

Has any one received good sent from 1688/Taobao site China and sent through NIPOST ? I just want to know which shipping company uses NIPOST.All i see are advert from individual agent that will ship it and you have to collect it yourself at a centre.
Third party shipping agents with office mainly in Lagos can help you ship it down to Lagos. You can then pick it up by yourself or pay for use of other courier service to ship to it down to your location if you are not in Lagos.
