SeverusSnape:This is what riles me up with some of you bigots who claim education but show very little sign of it. The least expected of you was to have read the article comprehended it before commenting. Didn't you read this portion, where Yunusa's own father, Islamic clerics and northern youth forum - among others condemned his actions? In one of his reactions, Dahiru Bala, said his son, Yunusa can never marry Ese, adding that he did not support the relationship because of its illegality and that it was against his religion. “There was no marriage between my son and Ese Oruru because it is illegal.” “I promptly reported the matter to the village head and on their arrival they were taken to his home who in turn reported to the District Head at Kura,” 55 year-old Bala added. Reactions also came from non-governmental organisations, religious groups, clerics, among others. Instance: some Islamic clerics insisted that Yellow’s action was against Islamic practices; similarly Arewa Youth Consultative Forum condemned the act. If you had, then why are you spreading such bigoted rubbish? Note; while no northerner or true Muslim would support Yunusa's action; however, many are aggrieved by by the hypocrisy and the malicious blanket condemnation of his region, religion and tribe by southerners and the Christian dominated media for his singular independent act. What you see as a hero's welcome is the consequence of earlier politicisation and distortion of the facts of the whole saga especially by the media in which Yunusa was tried, judged and sentenced even before appeared before the court of law; its no wonder that he would now have supporters rallying from within his community in solidarity for being condemn along with him. |
CACAWA:Exactly my take - she too was fanatical and confrontational to have taken a megaphone to preach in front of a mosque; she was definitely asking for trouble. |
sorextee:Look, don't condemn Muslims for the crime of a few - its myopic as it is also quite stupid. Not saying that the killing was right; but you got to appreciate some degree of fanaticism and confrontation on her part; imagine going with a megaphone/loudspeaker (check the picture, its there beside her body) and preaching another religion (Christianity) loudly in front of a Mosque - haba! what would you call that if not provocation, she had to be asking for trouble. |
@glossy6: Come see, una done score goal again oOh! But nne, why una dey resort to the barbaric stripping them naked not minding that women and especially children may be watching - chai, tufiakwa! |
PwincessRukky:Yes indeed, we shall not allow them forget their words of bigotry, the case must go on until the whole truth comes out; they must not have their cake and eat it. We want to know why it is ok for them to insult a whole region, religion and tribe of a criminal from the north and why the same should not apply them when far worse crimes are being committed by individuals from the south. We also want to know why is the trial being conducted in secret instead of an open court and why have the media, FFK, Ben Bruce, Tunde Bakare etc have suddenly lost their voices. Why was Ese after being returned from her alleged abduction (up till the time of giving birth) not living with her parents but astonishingly being housed in the police officers mess - yes, so many unanswered questions. |
hatchy:A bigot high on dog meat. |
joeyfire:You had already taken your stand, recall when you were courting Jonathan, praising him and abusing Buhari; while Jonathan was equally telling the whole world that you Igbos were the backbone of his govt and promising you a 2nd Niger bridge; it didn't occur to you then that he could lose the elections and therefore could be backing the wrong horse; now that the game is up and he lost, you suddenly resumed your agitation for a separate state while at the same asking the FG to come and repair your roads - LOL, who is fooling who? Hope you too can see the irony of your position - its like a wife who is divorcing her husband further asking him to buy her an expensive gift or to pay for an expensive holiday - lai lai una get sense. |
Where were they in the last 6 yrs when GEJ was there? |
uwagimboo:Which antiaircraft gun, common AK47 would spill his intestines out like spaghetti - he is just deceiving himself. |
Zoharariel:LOL, where is glossy6: come and see, una done score own goal again. |
RZArecta:Not at all, I am sure you were describing yourself. |
MsGlobalwonder:Vamoose! |
RZArecta:Referring to yourself? |
MsGlobalwonder:Abeg, waka comot from my front, I no get time for small pickin like you. |
Paperwhite:Good riddance to bad rubbish; one more less bigot to deal with. |
ConqueredWest:Milk is much better than monkey brain |
LOL, its looking more like the case of child crying then begging for attention after being ignored. Let them bomb and bomb the whole region to smithereens lets see who will suffer in the long run; more reason to start shifting to alternative sources like Lagos, Chad and Sokoto basins in the SW, NE & NW respectively. |
In the recent article published By Mr Dele Momodu, Like every other Nigerian, he tried being as positive as ever and if you can read my mind, every nigerian who wants progress are keeping this as their watch-word "I'm not bothered abt geopolitical zones/tribe,we just want the best" Honestly, thats the spirit but sometimes being logical, especially in Nigeria, does not help and like we have seen in different aspects that what obtains in other parts of the world does not apply to the average Nigerian society. We therefore plead with Mr president to please, in future appointments, he should look into other Ethnic groups and geo-political zones as they have people who can also serve in different respects as these capable notherners. We have over 250 ethnic gropus in this country so diversifying appointments wont hurt a soul!!! Here is a graph of Presdent Buhari's appointments and their tribe. http://www.newshelm.com/2016/07/president-buharis-appointments.html cc lalasticlala
And some gullible hot heads would be maturbating over this break down not minding to find out whether this represents the whole list of available posts under the FG; and if not, then what about the rest and who may be occupying them. This yet another attempt at maligning PMB by selective representation and therefore distortion of facts designed to mislead and misinform by those who have not forgiven him for defeating their Clueless Otuoke brother at the last general elections. |
PhockPhockMan:Is that all? Well here is some more news for you, the job is not yet done till we come down to your home state and replace the governor, all your lawmakers including your village chief with northerners and forcefully convert everybody to Islam. Meanwhile you can take your selective statistics and go and jump into the nearest lagoon - BWT are those the only occupied positions under the FG, what about those you had not listed, who may be occupying them? |
yanabasee:Case is not closed and shall not close until the whole truth comes out; we want to hear Ese's and her parents role in the whole saga and why it was ok for some bigots and the press to entertain so much unwarranted hateful propaganda against Yunusa's religion. tribe and region for his singular wrongful act. |
eyeview:Christians own and control majority of the world media, they see Islam as a threat because it is the fastest growing religion; so they have been doing they best to control mindsets and perception through use of their powerful media by always giving it bad publicity or outrightly invading and destroying Muslim countries after massive negative propaganda against the regimes - Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan. |
glossy6:Pls stop being in denial; when it comes to rape, you guys are tops - I have already dealt with that and provided the links/evidence in my previous posts. On looting and robbery, well need I say more that it got to the extent that most of your banks could not operate because of Armed Robbery https://www.nairaland.com/456834/aba-crippled-robbers-all-banks It is so bad that I know of your ppl here in the north afraid to go home for Christmas because of robbery and kidnapping - why do you think many of them are happier stay in Boko Haram areas like Borno that risk evil and wickedness in your backyard. As for kidnapping, we all know you guys even have training schools for kidnapping aspirants (link provided in earlier post); even your brother president Jonathan had this to say about it. https://www.nairaland.com/453430/kidnapping-armed-robbery-greatest-challenges LOL, even your royal fathers are not left behind - what a shame. https://www.nairaland.com/773972/royal-father-suspended-alleged-kidnapping |
glossy6:The more you engage me the more you will be served Bitchcraft i.e. the art of pissing ppl off by telling them the truth. Note: You are the one taking this thing to the next level by bringing religion into the matter; so don't complain if I should hit another raw nerve. As it stands now, we how established that the SE is the crime capital of Nigeria, based on a national survey (link already given in my earlier post) so you guys have no moral ground to point to others about crime when in fact you are the most criminally inclined. Among the most despicable is Cannibalism. Since you brought the issue of rape again; note no one beats you at rape in terms of range and gravity, from paedophilia involving boys and girls, from individuals to gang rapes against young and old - the evidence are everywhere (have provided links to them in my previous posts). Oh I forgot, you also talked about incest; wouldn't you agree that the worst form of incest is one that invovles fathers raping and impregnating their own underaged children - a very common pastime in your backyard (with several links to prove); some would even argue that they are merely being given their early instructions towards graduating into becoming part of the 99.9%statistics of the prostitutes that Nnamdi Kanu was talking about. On the religious front, go check your Bible (Isaiah 13:15-19 ) where Isaiah quotes God as promising to send the Medes to attack the Chaldeans and have "their houses rifled and their wives ravished." Here we see the Christian god advocating for murder and rape - maybe that explains for why your pastors and priests love to especially rape young boys and girls in the anus. Besides, lest we forget at what age (12 yrs) was the Mary the mother of Christ betrothed to Joseph an old man in his 90s, after she must have been Again when we look at the concept of the holy communion, you will notice that it is all about CANNIBALISM. At the Last Supper, Jesus gave his disciples bread to eat and told them it was his body. And he said the wine they were to drink was his blood (Matthew 26:26-29; Mark 14:22-25) - its no wonder that you find it easy to naturally gravitate towards Catholicism. Its better you don't push me or else I'll break your spirit and faith in your man made/adulterated religion, just let sleeping dogs lie, don't wake them. |
Nickymezor:May be these too are northerners, may God also give you common sense because apparently the one you thought you had seems to be fake and of no use; meanwhile, stop the bigotry and pray for original sense.
|
glossy6:LOL, you make me laugh at the ridiculousness of your position: how dare you talk about crime when a national survey had already pointed to the SE as the HQ of crime in Nigeria; you talk of rape where anyone could be a potential rapist in your area; ranging from fathers, pastors & priests, old men, teenagers, gangs and students; even your masquerades are not left out from this macabre of atrocity; most shockingly is your reference to kidnapping an act already synonymous with your region and so endemic that it had reached commercial proportions (according to your own Senator Godswill Akpabio) and to the extent that you guys are beginning to establish training schools for kidnappers. https://www.nairaland.com/3086908/abia-state-commercialised-kidnappings-nigeria https://www.naij.com/68863.html LOL, when it comes to crime you guys are just too much; just name it and you would immediately find the worst example of its kind in your backyard - not sure if it is not genetic. |
glossy6:Big lie, you still have CANNIBALISM in your backyard, the police just last year discovered and closed down a restaurant serving human flesh in Anambra, the story was covered by many newspapers including the UK based Mirror, here is a link - pls stop denying your culture, its well documented in history books. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/restaurant-closed-selling-human-flesh-3136136 |
@ OP: This one na small thing, oya see better balancing.
|
idupaul:You started making sense and suddenly lost it to bigotry - I pity your life |
davodyguy:You can say that again. |
kayfra: and idupaul: pls take note. |
linnyx:Read 2nd paragraph of my post again, its all there; you too can do it in your area if you have the capital for a medium/large generator as well as the cooperation of local ppl willing to subscribe to your services - its quite a viable business venture for commercial areas with notorious problem of power supply; but you must also be careful not to be too successful otherwise the local DISCO may see you as a rival/interloper encroaching into their territory. |
Pyno30:LOL, an uneducated yob that can't spell exposing himself. |
In a hausa community? That is outright provocation.
