@ Poster, as I had mentioned in a similar thread before: your question is naive and loaded with stereotypical mischief - intended to ridicule Hausa and Muslim people - which I find offensive to say the least ![]() However, since you fail to see the hidden insult (targetted at bloody abokis) then perhaps you, annawhite and co (your supporters in this thread) may want to ponder at the similar line of questioning/reasoning below. I have been told that Hausa Muslims girls tend to have less of the embarrassing problem of smelly womanliness, because they wash regularly with water every time after they visit the toilet (as required by their religion); however, the same may not be claimed for non - Hausa Christians or ladies of other faith - who don't have to or often choose not to wash after they pee. ![]() annawhite, mama - gee and co, pls do us the honour of answering first, how wuna own be? ![]() |
@ poster, I repeat your question was stereotypical and naive as it was equally insulting to those it was directed at. If you still can't see that , then could you please tell me your tribe and I promise I would show you how. ![]() PS: Romance section isn't my usual turf, but just can't resist the jab at my people; nor do I intent to stay on and drag this issue any longer than necessary. The fact you have seen worse doesn't make your insults anymore acceptable; nor should your gender preclude me from criticizing your transgressions. annawhite:Are you speaking from experience or simply using reverse psychology to goad Hausa men into coming out to bleep you. ![]() If by any chance you are nursing a secret fantasy for real Hausa mandingo, why not just say so. You can start by uploading your picture, may be somewhere out there may be an equally foolish Hausa man that may want to fall between your freakish thighs. ![]() Wislet:A true a confession (no oofeinses) and you spoke well my sister (no oofeinses) ![]() |
@poster: your question is loaded with mischief and stereotypical naivety of some southerners (note, I didn't generalize) - apparently, all Hausa men have the same taste and no individual preferences - just admit that you simply want to take style insult Hausa people otherwise, I cant imagine you are that stupid. ![]() |
favouredjb:Too bad, I guess its open and brisk business for armed robbers and kidnappers - a worrisome growing pastime in the south, so I've been told ![]() Pls, you may want to decode the (bold) highlighted part of your post into English for lesser beings like myself to understand - no offence ![]() honeric01: There is no issue to resolve. You asked a straight forward question for which a straight forward answer was given; the onus is therefore now on you to prove otherwise - simple, otherwise just keep quiet. ![]() |
@honeric01 If you will recall, your question repeatedly asked for what was the contribution of the Northern States to the Nigerian economy (check your posts if in doubt) for which an answer was subsequently given to you, by way of published data from an establishment of the Nigerian government dedicated to producing statistical data on Nigeria (i.e the National Bureau of Statistics). ![]() Kindly tell me what part of the answer did you not understand? :oBy the what school did you attend, obviously they hardly taught you anything there; if I were you, I'd go back and demand for full refund for time wasted. Honestly, didn't somebody teach you that the GDP (gross domestic product) is a measure of a country's over all economic out put (which the Northern States continue to contribute significantly through agriculture) or are you simply an olodo, idiot, jaki (donkey) posing to be educated. ![]() @Tashanja I concur, this person is obviously in denial or perhaps even a product of exam malpractice, a pseudo intellect (otherwise, how come he can't relate GDP with the economy)- shocking isn't it ![]() |
honeric01:Pls follow this link to the National Bureau of Statistics (http://www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/). Note that the latest figures (2009) indicate that AGRICULTURE is the highest contributor to the national GDP,at 41.84% Also note that Nigeria (whether you like it or not) is primarily an agriculturally based country and that the Northern States are major contributors to that sector; hence to the GDP that drives the economy - shocking isn't it ? ![]() |
Baseless allegation riding on ignorance ![]() |
gadogado:You just beat me to that reply, thank you, couldn't have said it any better. A typical arrogant fool, cant see anything but through his tribal prism. |
obailala:Please explain how you arrived at that conclusion (in bold) ![]() Yes, I agree with you that southerners have indeed been foolish from 1960 to date but for a different reason; they have been foolish for norturing and pursuing tribal politics even though it should be obvious that they cannot form tribal alliances sufficient enough to give them the workable majority they need to rule - yet they keep blaming the north for their woes. Personally, I do not subscribe to rotational presidency, because I believe it is backward and retogressive as it is quite divisive and completely undemocratic. |
Dellusional ranting, its not surprising that nobody is taking the poster seriously. |
Have you ever ask yourself this question, will a typical muslim Hausa man allow you to build a Church in the center of Kano state? you dare not try that.
I doubt you have ever set foot in Kano; otherwise, you wouldn't be making that false statement. Come to Kano metropolis and see new churches being built, talk less of old established ones in mainly Sabon Gari,Nomansland and Bompai areas. Hausa/Fulani people are not to be trusted wherever you go in this country, their behavior is like the snake waiting for the right time to catch its prey. Again, the above statement suggests an assumption that hausa/fulani= 100% muslims; forgeting the fact that there are indeed christians among them. It is nobody's fault that you have chosen to confine yourself in a mental prison of exaggerated fear and suspiscion of the hausa and fulani people - after all its a free world, so you are free to feel as you do. However, a growing silent majority of christians residing freely and unmolested in hausaland, many of them for several generations, is a testament to the fact that all is not what it seems and that your perception is far from the reality on the ground. I also do believe, however, that the media is largely responsible for this disproportionality. So please dont always believe the hype; but neither should you also be telling blatant lies.

|
@poster, so whats your angle on this one? |
Zoning is inherently undemocratic, retrogressive, divisive and above all myopic; hence we should do away with it while always ensuring free and fair elections so that true popular leaders voted by the majority can emerge, now thats the way forward. |
what happened to RELIGION TOLERANCE in this country ? Whenever the muslims hit the christains, every media houses including CNN would report on it but the reverse is the case when the christain hit first.you hardly get to hear about it.until we learn to address both sides, then we can begin to find a lasting solution to the religious outbreak in the north. blaming one side and defending the other because of sentiments will not bring peaces to the region.all we needed is a holistic approach devoid of sentiments.
Why are you so surprised ![]() The media is a very powerful tool that can be used to shape and control human mindset and perception, often at the disposal of politicians, powerful groups and governments, to manupulate people along their agenda - propaganda. It is not a secret that majority of media houses (print and electronic) in Nigeria as well as in the Western world (Europe and America) are owned, manned, managed and teleguided by christians. Just tell me why therefore should you expect objectivity when they are reporting about Muslims or Islam. We muslims have become acustomed to this bias and remain hopeful that; from time to time incidences of double standards such as the one we see would eventually help bring out the truth about the role the media is playing, through its commissions and ommissions in reporting religious conflicts especially beween christians and muslims in this counry and worldwide. However, I remain hopeful that one day Insha Allah that both christians and muslims would wake up and come to realise how they are being manupulated to see each other as mutual enemies -just to serve the interest of a few. |
THE AMAKA:I guess you are not a follower of one these imported religions. What baffles me most is that you can still find humour in Nigerians killing themselves (for whatever the cause - imported religions or not). In retrospect,I sincerely doubt that you really meant those words. |
Its like you are too short sighted to see what the man could see from a distance. Respecting the PDP zoning formula would literally guarantee the Ibo SE the presidency next after the present zoning (one term remainig balance) to the north. Abondoning zoning at this point would mean to the Ibos throwing their assured slot (only one term away) up in the air and to chance - a chance that would seem less likely in a free and fair election as Nigerians continue to retrogress back, in their backwardness, into tribal and religious politics. |
Unconfirmed report, however, said the crisis started between two men (Hausa and Yoruba), who were allegedly fighting over perceived injustice and partiality against one of the Northerners.

Even though the root cause of the problem was clearly suggested in the story, yet some posters are only too quick to conclude and without confirmation start blaming the hausas. Haba, what has happened to objectivity and fairness? @ Aloy Emeka, I know you are a tribalist and hate my people with a passion. However, on this ocassion I have to forgive you; because this your cartoon is just too much, cant stop laughing ![]() But next time , there will tribal war if you dont stop abusing my people , abi you dey craze? shege dan iska ![]() |
They have already declared total black out for weeks in my area, so what the hell let them go as if someone will miss them. ![]() |
Is there any truth in the rumour that edoyad i.e. the poster is himself a rumour monger and a supporter of GAY RIGHTS (rumour has it that the man is GAY) ![]() |
The man was a Muslim and Muslims do not permit autopsy. Please respect that and allow him to rest in peace. |
frosbel:I have provided the link (for you to verify) there is nothing false about the source; its not just an ordinary article by a single person but from a well researched compilation from the CATHOLIC ENCYCLPAEDIA In fact, if you would care to research further you would come to realise that 12 years is consistant with the age at which Hebrew girls used to be betrothed according to jewish tradition, at the time of Joseph; and Mary was by no means any different. Hence it has been estimated that she probably gave birth to Jesus at the age of between 13 - 14 years. Though you can continue to remain for ever in denial - for all I care ![]() |
http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/08504a.htm Marriage It is probably at Nazareth that Joseph betrothed and married her who was to become the Mother of God. When the marriage took place, whether before or after the Incarnation, is no easy matter to settle, and on this point the masters of exegesis have at all times been at variance. Most modern commentators, following the footsteps of St. Thomas, understand that, at the epoch of the Annunciation, the Blessed Virgin was only affianced to Joseph; as St. Thomas notices, this interpretation suits better all the evangelical data. It will not be without interest to recall here, unreliable though they are, the lengthy stories concerning St. Joseph's marriage contained in the apocryphal writings. When forty years of age, Joseph married a woman called Melcha or Escha by some, Salome by others; they lived forty-nine years together and had six children, two daughters and four sons, the youngest of whom was James (the Less, "the Lord's brother" . A year after his wife's death, as the priests announced through Judea that they wished to find in the tribe of Juda a respectable man to espouse Mary, then twelve to fourteen years of age. Joseph, who was at the time ninety years old, went up to Jerusalem among the candidates; a miracle manifested the choice God had made of Joseph, and two years later the Annunciation took place. These dreams, as St. Jerome styles them, from which many a Christian artist has drawn his inspiration (see, for instance, Raphael's "Espousals of the Virgin" , are void of authority; they nevertheless acquired in the course of ages some popularity; in them some ecclesiastical writers sought the answer to the well-known difficulty arising from the mention in the Gospel of "the Lord's brothers"; from them also popular credulity has, contrary to all probability, as well as to the tradition witnessed by old works of art, retained the belief that St. Joseph was an old man at the time of marriage with the Mother of God. http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/08504a.htm |
THE PROTEVANGELION OF JAMES The Protevangelium of James CHAPTER 8: 3. And when she was twelve years of age, the priests met in a council, and said, Behold, Mary is twelve years of age; what will we do with her, for fear that the holy place of the Lord our God should be defiled? 4. Then replied the priests to Zacharias the high-priest, You stand at the altar of the Lord, and enter into the holy place, to make petitions concerning her, so whatsoever the Lord will show to you, do it. 5. Then the high-priest entered into the Holy of Holies, and taking away with him the bosom-plate of judgment made prayers concerning her; 6. And behold the angel of the Lord came to him, and said, Zacharias, Zacharias, go forth and call together all the widowers among the people, and let every one of them bring his rod, and he by whom the Lord will show a sign will be the husband of Mary. 9. After the high-priest had received their rods, he went into the temple to pray; 10. And when he had finished his prayer, he took the rods, and went forth and distributed them, and no miracle attended them. 11. The last rod was taken by Joseph, and behold a dove proceeded out of the rod, and flew upon the head of Joseph. 12. And the high-priest said, Joseph, you are the person chosen to take the Virgin of the Lord, to keep her for him: 13. But Joseph refused, saying, I am an old man, and have children, but she is young, and I fear, for fear that I should appear ridiculous in Israel. |
@ frosbel Did you know that mary the mother of Jesus was betrothed to Joseph (an old man at the time) at the age of 12 ? That Joseph initially refused because of his age until reminded (threatened) by the high priest Zacharias of the wrath of god that could befall on him. Why not also send this to 5 of your bigot friends and play your part in educating them. ![]() |
illusion2:If you can't see the connection then I am really sorry for you ( and he talks of the aboki way of thinking - what arrogance). Well, let me make it simpler for you. No, I am not justifying Yarima's action but merely pointing out to those who attacked him (naija-doll, Bongo-man, Purest Boy et al) based on his religion that their religion too is not any better on the issue. Think hard, don't let babaric,pre-historic arab practices delude you. And by the way, Lets stop justifying nonsense in the name of religion/arab culture.

Again, are you not being just as myopic and religiously biased as the people I have already mentioned? Pre-historic/barbaric , ? I guess you have not been deluded by the christian value system that permits such babaric act in the Vatican City in this modern day and age. Kindly ask the Pope to be responsible enough to expunge such babaric Christian law from his rule book , if you will please. After that you can feel free to stand on the moral high ground to criticise other religion and culture. |
Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, a sound advice to quick finger pointers. Ignorance is sometimes a bliss' @ naija-doll, Bongo-man & PurestBoy and those of the same ilk; while abusing muslims and northerners for Yarima's alleged actions you continue to remain blissfully ignorant of the fact that your own CHRISTIAN LAW at the VATICAN, the highest level of christinity headed by the Pope, permits sex with CHILDREN AT THE AGE OF 12 YEARS. If you don;t believe me here is the link: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_Europe ) Vatican State There is an equal age of consent set at 12 years of age in Art. 331 (1).[35][36] When there is a relationship of dependence (like teacher/student, etc.) the age of consent is 15 years in Art. 331 (2).[35] The criminal law was introduced 1929 and was the same law as the Codice Penale in Italy on 8 June 1929. Because of the death penalty, reintroduced in 1926 in Italy, the reference point was changed in 1969 to 31 December 1924, but this has no effect on the age of consent laws. The age of consent in the Codice Penale from Italy was changed in 1930, but this no longer had any effect on Vatican City. Vatican law provides that criminal suspects arrested in Vatican City are to be tried under Vatican law in Italian courts, while those who escape to Italy before their arrest are to be tried under Italian law, even if their alleged crime occurred on Vatican territory.[35] In other words, what Yarima allegedly did is no worse than what is permissable by the Church, in fact he is well within the christian standard of morality and law, according to the Vatican - a law which still stands valid TODAY! As for child abuse, well, we all know that CATHOLIC PRIESTS have a weakness for small boys (yansh). Records of homosexual child abuse among the priesthood is legendry, spanning several decades and well documented along with the criminal role of the Pope in their cover up. You can even say that, Yarima's alleged crime was more honourable; since he at least married his victim, whlile the priests did not; they just used the children ( some of them disabled) and dumped them traumatised. Abuse Yarima as much as you wish for all I care; but while you abuse him along with muslims and northerners, you might as well abuse those catholic priests as well as the Pope and the church for comitting and condoning child abuse respectively. Now that you are no longer ignorant of the above fact:Please, please, prove to this forum that you are not enthno/religious bigots; go on , abuse them in the same manner, and I will respect you for being liberal, progressive and objective. By the way, freedom of speech is not a licence for disrespect or insults; please be advised. ![]() |
frosbel:It is an example of selective information dissemination against a targetted group (by internet search, copy & paste) - I believe a favourite pastime of yours - wouldn't you say? ![]() |
oyb:Also equally known as expensive joke or provocation ![]() |
oyb:Your bias is very evident. The article clearly named and identified an Ibo man cheating inocent people - and you still have to rope in Hausa people- what is your problem? ![]() |
I think Yarima should take refuge at the Christian nation of the Vatican, where it would be safe for him to have legitimate sex with a girl even younger than the one he was alleged to have married. Accordingly, the age of sexual consent at the Vatican is STILL only 12 years. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_Europe ). |
Dede1:What a surprise! One single voice of wisdom! Talking about morality, some people would be shocked to know that the age of sexual consent at the Vatican is only 12 years (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_Europe ). Accordingly, Yerima could have even married and had legitimate sex with a younger girl than the one he allegedly did, and probably with the Pope's blessing - just think about that! Actually, I do not subscribe to what the man is alleged to have done; it just seems that the matter is being blown out of proportion. |
Yarima should take a hike and take refuge at the Vatican, where the the age of sexual consent as earlier pointed out is STILL 12 years, today (not in the middle ages or centuries past). For the benefit of clarity, it means that: at the Vatican, Yarima could have even married and had legitimate sex with a younger girl than the one he was alleged to have had - and most probably with the Pope's blessing. Therefore by inference, cannon law of the christian nation of the Vatican can be judged to support paedophilia. As for child sex abuse, did some body say: "catholic priests" and the role of the Pope in covering up for them? ![]() |
