You left out the Jews  grin

Not true , we have made a distinction between radical Muslims and peaceful Muslims.

I can also reassure you that anyone who kills is not a Christian because there is no command by Jesus Christ to kill , murder or hate.

Whereas you have an untold number of verses in your Quran, where Muhammad commands you to kill infidels and instil terror into their hearts.

Get your facts right.

This is one of many pictures of Muslims eating Jewish flesh. I can post more if you dare me.

Sorry all killers are evil , but some are more inclined to violence than others.
Yes, I agree.
So why don't we take stock of human lives lost at the hands of Christians and Muslims from beginning of recorded history to date, taking note especially of the world wars and destructive killing power (e.g. WMDs) and willingness to use them by those from either faith - an Adolf Hiltler and the Atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki comes to mind.
Project and estimate the killings by both Christians and Muslims and then lets judge who had been most violent. cool
CrimeRe: Cannibalization Of Muslims In Jos On Video: Where Is Our Humanity? by MeAboki(m): 4:27pm On Feb 05, 2012
The attempts at denial is so laughable and ridiculous and only goes to further expose the level of hypocrisy and double standards by some Christians in this forum.

When the media reports alleged killings by Muslim youths e.g. pictures of what appear to be knife wielding/ stick carrying northern youths; nobody seem to care to verify the authenticity of such news/picture (e.g. were the boys really from the north or even Nigerians at all; how was it deduced they were Muslims etc), no no sir; no such questions - they are easily convinced and quick to pour vitriol on every Muslim for the crime of a few and take liberty to ridicule and insult the religion of Islam for these crimes.

@ Poster:
You should know that the world press and Nigerian press is predominantly owned and controlled by Christians; how else do you expect them to be objective when it comes to Christian/Muslim issues - haba, would you really expect them to castigate their own. The sad problem is the gullible majority (who can't read between the lines) that end up fuelling their hatred and slowly being brainwashed by this huge propaganda system.

Now to the bigots on NL that are always happy to come online and brand all Muslims as terrorists because of the senseless action of a few; how about this reply: ALL Christians are CANNIBALS, because your Christian brothers in Plateau can be seen happily eating dead Muslims.

Should we therefore ask that, is it a coincidence there is no record or history of any Muslim being a cannibal; while that cannot be said for Christians, whether from the north (as in the case of these Beroms) or southern Nigerian? Could this deplorable and lowest act of inhumanity also be related to Christianity?

PoliticsRe: What Does The Ss/se Contribute To Nigeria? by MeAboki(m): 1:23pm On Feb 05, 2012
I am happy for this thread for bringing out the truth. As we can see from the GDP figures; Nigeria is still basically an agricultural country for which oil contributes a small part of it (about 13%); secondly, all regions and its peoples contribute towards this economy, although some more than others (and we all now know who); however, what should be clear is that nobody or region is a parasite and deserves to be referred as such (reason that caused this thread).

I also take real exception when my region and ppl are insulted in this way and therefore call on all NL bigots (they know themselves) to desist from this act or else we shall readily find cause to resurrect this thread again, with all its damaging evidence to remind them lest they forget; but for now I call on the moderators to pls close this thread and allow peace reign.

@Me_Aboki
You have NOT said anything concrete except trying to turn the question backwards and my Southern brother Chei has replied you perfectly,  now Me_Aboki or whatever you call yourself --> GET LOST since you have nothing factual and logical to say!
My friend, I just directed you to where you would find your answer, don't be lazy, abi you no sabi read?
Isn't that what good students do? After-all your brother chei was yapping about your  educational superiority, why not prove him right by going to the appropriate website then come back and tell us what you found.

I am sorry, if you agreed with chei's reply to my question then you and him are as dumb as I had suspected. In fact that's how you ppl fail exam and blame your teachers, you simply download without bothering to understand the question.

My question specifically referred to the word actively (in bold for extra emphasis) and like most dumb southerners he started talking about oil money.

Pls help me ask him or at least explain how your forefathers were responsible for planting/putting this oil in the depth of the soil or under the ocean some million years ago that you now want to claim credit for?
Even in the case of the so called extraction, help me name any southern owned company (the likes of  Shell etc) actually involved in the production - explain where your ppl are actively involved and therefore contributing in the generation of this oil money, where in fact lies their effort?

FYI, the money comes from the commission (revenue) paid to the Nigerian govt by these multinationals who invest their own money, machinery and expertise; neither your nor my ppl contribute nada.

True, I concede that the oil is found in your region but that's just about it, because your ppl were never responsible for its presence there; as compared to a hard working farmer in the North who would till the soil, plant and harvest what he sowed.

Besides, this oil money contributes only a small percentage (about 13% or so) to the over all national GDP, if in doubt go check the statistics - read and be educated, shocking isn't it cool cool

Continue with your conspiracy theories, it won't shake us.

If Mustapha was guilty so be it; but by all indications he didn't get a fair trial, the primary witness against him, sgt Rogers, later withdrew his evidence claiming it was forced upon him under duress; yet that wasn't enough because those keen on his conviction want him guilty by all means with or without convincing evidence.

Have no time to read the full extract, just a few sentences was enough to tell me that it is a cock-n-bull story, a lengthy fabrication designed malign Islam and northern leaders.

First of all, there is no Abubakar Gumi Sch of Arabic Studies in Kano (I should know because I live in Kano) and even if it does exist it wouldn't be the kind you would find almajiri attending because almajiris are not tutored in formal institutions of the kind mentioned.

Secondly, none of the Emir of Kano's many sons ever converted to Christianity, if it actually happened then it would have been one of the biggest scoop for Nigerian Christian community (who dominate the country's media) and would no doubt be milking it for maximum publicity throughout all the media houses.

Lastly, if indeed he had documented evidence of the involvement of those he mentioned why then hasn't he handed it over the press for publication and also why hasn't he handed it over to the relevant authorities for the prosecution of these ppl; his failure to do so should suggest that he is in fact a traitor to the nation and should therefore be arrested for withholding vital information bordering on national security.

^^^^^I thought it was the brain child of Soludu, the former CBN governor, a Christian, who started it; why then blame the person who came after him for completing it?
Surely if it didn't have any merit in the first place why would Soludu, supposedly an educated man with all his PhD intelligence etc, come up with ( as implied by you) such (a bad) idea for Nigeria - or are you by any chance suggesting that Charles Soludu was after-all a numbskull, without any (Ibo) sense?

FYI, Islamic Banking is a right for Muslims who wish to practice their religion, it is an option available to all Nigerians and at the same time not imposed on any one. Therefore, those who wish to deny Muslims this right should go and hang themselves and better still, drag along their brother Soludu for initiating it. angry

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Leader Is A Buk Graduate, Killed by MeAboki(m): 2:49am On Jan 28, 2012
They killed an innocent person and his wife, a case of mistaken identity, that's why the authorities could not elaborate further on the story.
It turned out the suspect they were after lived opposite to the victims, who was alleged to have returned fire before escaping into the night. Unfortunately, the security operatives mistakenly assumed the shooting came from the opposite house and descended on it killing its defenceless innocent occupants.
The operation was thrown into further confusion resulting in what appeared to be a prolonged battle because mobile police officers from near Hotoro barracks started shooting in the air in an attempt to ward off what they perceived was an imminent attack on their barracks; not knowing that there was in fact an ongoing operation since nobody had earlier cared to informed them.
Just imagine how silly it would look if the two forces actually ended up engaging themselves in a battle due to poor coordination and communication.

Some ppl can be easily fooled, so the man was indicted by a tribunal set up by Dariye, the Gov who was in fact alleged to be heavily involved and therefore part of the problem, himself a Christian and no doubt a tribunal heavily constituted by Christians against a Muslim concerning an ethno - religious issue, sure you'll expect the tribunal to be objective - right?

PoliticsRe: Kano Mayhem: Soldiers, Police Killed Civilians, Not Boko Haram – Shekau by MeAboki(m): 7:33pm On Jan 27, 2012
After the Boko boys did their own the security operatives also did their own; but mainly due to incompetence and cowardice, mehn they were so jittery and jumpy as well as trigger happy, they were literally shooting at everything and anything that moved, including their own shadows - in the process many were killed, both friend and foe.

However, this does not in anyway excuse the dastardly killing of innocent souls by Boko Haram; but its also true that the law enforcement agents also contributed to the death toll, especially in the latter part and immediately after the attacks.
In fact there are now emerging eyewitness accounts of their culpability, this information is therefore going round and further making everybody nervous. May God help us all. sad

My friend, ppl in the north don;t support BH because their mayhem has so far been restricted to north; its a northern problem and their victims are by majority northerners and Muslims. PoliticsRe: Nigerian Army Engaged A Boko Haram Member In A Gun Battle For Over 4 Hours. by MeAboki(m): 7:35pm On Jan 25, 2012
Unfortunately, it appears to have been a botched joint operation involving the army, SSS and mopol representing failed intelligence and cowardice by these operatives, and by all indications the murder of an innocent man and woman.

Accordingly, the mopol cordoned the whole area, blocking off routes for escape, while the army and SSS moved in to arrest the alleged large number of suspects - based on earlier tip off (which turn out to be wrong - since they only got the two they killed).

BBC (Hausa radio) news aired an interview with this man's neighbors immediately after the incidence and they were unanimous in attesting that the man had no connection with Boko Haram and neither was he armed.
Notice how the official story failed to reveal the weapon the man was allegedly using. Eye witness accounts (including some colleagues living in the area) confirmed the joint operatives also had helicopter support providing searchlight to give good visibility during the night operation. So how cold they come up with only two dead suspects given the so called prior surveillance and disproportionate excess fire power used.

Its obvious they were so afraid of these BH boys, hence jumpy and firing at anything and everything.  Unfortunately, this type of cowardice coupled with incompetence and brutality on innocent civilians is what is compounding an already bad situation, where civilians are caught in the middle of double terrorism; on the one hand being terrorized by the real terrorists (BH boys) and on the other by the law enforcement agents sent to protect them.

Our security agencies are clearly ill prepared for these boys, I have never felt so insecure in my own country till now. sad angry

If you had read my penultimate post you would have seen that I clearly did not subscribe to the blocking of roads whether for Muslim or Christian prayer.
