hammer567:Nigerian government must stop pitying Ghana, Togo and other small African countries, we must maximize the profit we make off them. Nigeria first, no sentiments. |
BeeBeeOoh:But I think they are doing their jobs, to keep us safe on the roads, sometimes negligence of a driver can cause casualties on the road. For Nigeria to develop and work we need strong institutions. Can you bribe police or traffic officer in Uk ![]() |
Nigerian government must have this condition on all foreigners too...alert immigration before renting out homes to foreigners, this will enhance our security against infiltration of terrorists and criminals. |
True talk, we must shun corruption, this is the only way for true peace and stability. |
Mr Otedola, I love the way you show love to your family. Cuppy is a wonderful amazing, talented lady. |
Wise woman... conscious, not saying anything is wrong with those that show theirs...I just like her style. |
Has IPOb command structure lost control? So many groups coming up everyday... The people must unite and achieve peace, we must value the peace we have... God bless all Nigerians. |
This is not good at all, why targeting industrious sons of your land, who will develop your lands. Is biafra for the people or the people for biafra. Or is it about a group threatening and enslaving the rest? This is bad in these days of freedom, any form of enslavement by threats should not be supported, because you might fall victim, if and when the 'commission" sees fit. May God protect the children and innocent. |

He exudes greatness and a calm mien, good quality of a leader. I wish Soludo, and the entire Anambrans well, in this new dispensation. Nigeria needs intelligent, vibrant, civilized, open minded leaders. God bless Nigeria and us all. |
Covid 19 is not our pressing problems, Bill gates can help with that 400billion, and create training centers and hospitals across Nigeria. 0.01% of Nigerians are infected. We don't have a COVID-19 problem, we have problems of job shortage, lack of skills aquisition centers, and power. All these will boost income and boost welfare of the people. We have a strong immune, the numbers clearly show. Mass immunization should not be a priority of Nigeria now. Our immune system and Sun seem to have helped us ward off COVID-19. We must protect our natural crops and foods, say no to GMO. |
vanbonattel:If you are wise you will know that the President is there only for a short while. Maybe you are a kid, or just with a small mind... Am not telling you to sit still, please go be a killer...but I know you are a keypad warrior anyways. Am saying soon everyone will be mad, and that is how war starts. The ones that do the most start their madness last. It's better we seek political means to solve our problems, otherwise none will survive. Bombs and guns no dey look face. In the grand scheme, every human is dispensable and insignificant, including you. Am talking of the system here, the nation, not individuals... Stop sounding like a bigot, there is violence everywhere, bandits etc, common man, stop this. People like you are Nigeria's problem. You tribalize every discussion and thread, am talking of the unit, Nigeria has almost 400 tribes, stop thinking everything is about you. We are almost 220,000,000 people now. |
vanbonattel:Don't you see Ethiopia, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan? What makes us different? this is a warning, if we don't retrace our steps, we have to know that a violent conflagration is coming. It's what it is. I only pity the children. If everyone starts behaving like mad men everywhere, then that is a war situation. Like I said, this is the truth, it's better you look at it objectively or ignore it. Am in the streets, ain't no joy out here, everyone is getting tensed by all these news, soon we all will loose our love and sanity, and everyone will become mad. It's better we realize that everyone can start violence, but as humans we show restraint, but it gets to a point of no return... I talked about all facets of society, it's a warning to all, politicians, sycophants etc...we must choose what we want. Life or death. Peace or war. |
vanbonattel:Am not a preacher, am not a Christian. This is a free forum, this topic does not necessarily require responses. This is the reality. War mongers can continue, but in war, its all about killings. Those that seek death I suggest they go commit suicide and let those that want to live, exist. Even if like you say, Nigeria is just a carcass, it's better than seeing dead body carcasses everywhere in war, those that still want to live and improve their lives in the Nigeria should be allowed to. Am not talking about Nigeria being developed here, am saying we will plunge ourselves into war unknowingly with all thes talks...I know most of you have not even shot a gun before, but in war, you must become an animal. I only pity those with families. Continue whatever you are doing. In war, no mercy or love, it's death. I hope you have no kids, cos with this negative rhetorics, it will only stir up more hatred and anger, and like I said, no man has monopoly of madness or killing. |
If we wish Nigeria bad, curse it, call it names of all sorts, eventually it will be bad If we keep plundering the country, stealing and wallowing in mediocrity and hypocrisy, the nation will be weak and eventually destroyed. If we keep wishing the country is destroyed because we have other passports, we forget that once your country is at war, you are looked at and seen as a refugee. What we speak regularly and wish for eventually comes true, even you are in the East, West, North, South, we are all in one space geographically, when the war or conflagration occurs, everyone will be affected. Let us choose what we want, to live in peace, or live in war, to improve or keep moaning, to shun mediocrity and hypocrisy or keep wallowing in it. You might think you will travel out and be safe, but when you start a forest fire, you never know which trees will get burnt. Think about the innocent children...am sharing this, to protect the innocent children, that bear the most consequences of a war they know nothing about. |
See fine pikin, ajebutter ![]() |
Safety of our nation is in our hands, if we want to build it we can, if we let it burn, we all turn refugees...we are in same geographical space. It's our choice, to do what we like, but we will face consequences as an entity. |

Rapper Travis Scott should have halted a show in Houston which saw a deadly crowd surge when he noticed people in trouble, the city’s fire chief says. “Everybody at that event had a responsibility,” Samuel Peña told reporters. “From the artist on down.” Eight people were killed and hundreds more injured in a crush at his Astroworld concert in Texas on Friday. The artist said he was “devastated” by the incident and was working to help victims’ families. His partner, the businesswoman and media personality Kylie Jenner, said they only learned there were fatalities after the event. Among those injured is a nine-year-old boy said to be fighting for his life after he was trampled at the event. “This young child and his family will face life-altering trauma from this day forward, a reality that nobody expects when they buy concert tickets,” a lawyer for the family said in a statement on Tuesday. Police said the victims were crushed in a surge of fans near the stage at around 21:30 local time. Scott continued to perform for almost 40 minutes longer, eventually ending the set about 15 to 20 minutes ahead of the advertised time. In footage from the concert, he can be seen interrupting his performance to ask for help for a fan who had passed out. But in another video, he asks: “Who asked you to stop? Y’all know what y’all came to do – chase me, let’s go.” “At one point there was an ambulance that was trying to make its way through the crowd. The artist has command of that crowd,” Mr Peña, the chief of the Houston Fire Department, stated. See more here- https://uptownmediainc.com/travis-scot-astroworld-show-8-dead-dozens-injured/ |

Lastmankc:The government must sanitize the transport industry. Regulations are necessary. |
They keep destroying our image abroad...not by force to travel out, if you can not coordinate there. |
Algold:We are here to share the right information, for safety, wellbeing and progress of man and nation. |
The problem of passengers, entering vehicles of criminals, posing as transport vehicles, also known as “one chance” has been with us in Nigeria, for years now. With the acute inflation, lack of available jobs, and millions of restive youths, this problem seem to be on the increase. A friend of mine, shared a story “It was 2pm, I dropped off my car at the mechanic, and had to rush to Ikeja, to resume at my job. Waiting at the bus stop, I saw a Toyota corolla car honking for passengers, I flanked the driver, he stopped, I checked inside to see how many passengers(due to stories of one chance, I am careful not to fall victim). I checked and it was just the driver and a passenger on the front seat. I entered, chilling in the back of the car, the air condition blowing me, after a few metres, the driver stopped to pick up more passengers, two men entered, both decided to enter from both sides of the door, sandwiching me in the middle. I thought nothing of it, but alas 50 meters into the journey, the guy on the left, grabbed me, while the other on the right side, pulled out a knife, stabbing my legs, the other guy at the front seat, brought out a hammer, he was hitting my knees severely with the hammer. At this point I was weak, they did not relent, they were blowing my face, hitting me with hammer, and stabbing my body at the same time, I quickly gave them my phone, but they requested for the password, and forced me to transfer all the amount I have in the account to them. I had no choice but to succumb, i lost all my savings that day, and was dropped off with severe injuries, on the road”. We have heard thousands of stories about “one chance” operators, in Nigeria, hence we thought it necessary, to share with Nigerians some tips, on avoiding these armed robbers, that pose as transporters. Avoid entering private vehicles: most one chance syndicates, use private vehicles, for their operations, and most Nigerians usually fall prey, perhaps due to rush, trying to get somewhere or meet up to and appointment, safety first, avoid entering private vehicles, posing as transporters, wait patiently for normal colored buses. Do not enter a vehicle you did not stop: most one chance operators are opportunists, sometimes they lure passengers by luring them to enter their vehicles. Do not enter a vehicle, that just stops to pick you, without you flagging it to stop, be patient, observe, and stop the right vehicle you need to enter…use your eyes, ears and instincts, when on the road. Article quite long, see full article here- https://uptownmediainc.com/how-to-avoid-one-chance-vehicles-on-the-road/ |
