I am very sorry. I didnt see your response here. Whilst i have been busy admiring your comments at other threads, i had forgotten i actually asked a question about volkswagen transporter.

Back to the question, the guy has refused to pin point a particular issue. He was just whining. However, i was able to understand that he had a burnt clutch, fixed another and it got spoilt again. So i advised him that maybe he bought a fake part and he should buy a genuine part.

That said and done. I have actually be looking to your advice in purchasing a second car. I do not want a regular "run on the mill" car. So i am looking at either an Audi All Road, an A4 Estate or a Volkswagen Touareg or BMW 2003 Estate. I have taken into consideration all what our mechanics here say and have also followed, keenly, your thread on Volkswagen and Audi Issues. At the same time, i really do not want what i will regret. Thanks for your much anticipated, quality response.

i did Akoka (Unilag) to Thomas Estate after Ajah, Lagos in 15minutes. I cant remember what mileage i was on. It was a brand new hyundai Accent, Manual drive. Time was a little after 12 midnight.

A friend of mine has a volkswagen transporter that is giving him issues. The van has a diesel engine. Does anyone know of a reliable volkswagen mechanic that repairs diesel engine? preferably in Lekki Axis.

The van has an automatic gear and keyless remote entry.

Very suitable for small scale goods transportation, catering business, dry cleaning business, industrial cleaners etc.

Can also be converted for school or church bus for personnel transport. It can seat five passengers conveniently and still carry enough load.

You must be living in a dream world. What communities is that footpath called alternative route going to open up. The nearby Ogunjiran community is cut off and fenced off the road, Ikota is not even close by. It is bush all over. The only standing building is the one housing "scintinla" club.

The truth of the matter is that LCC and Lagos Govt are not keeping to the terms of the contract. They are in breach. The original contract provided for an alternate "coastal" road not the patch patch footpaths they are calling roads.

I weep for Nigeria, Lagos in particular.

This LCC people mean business oh. They are ready to milk us to death. It takes me one hour from Abraham Adesanya to Ajah and after then i will still pay toll. Why dont they complete the road first before tolling so we can see what we are paying for. Have you seen the alternative route? its like a footpath.

The so called alternative road will be so chaotic that you will be forced to join the traffic on the road to pay them the toll. God will send incurable diseases on those people who want us to suffer just because they want to build empires on earth.

Now let me tell you. I am not averse to paying toll. The only thing is that this LCC thing is not toll it is outright exploitation of the masses.

I really do not get this. What kind of alternative road. When you are made to pass already existing roads.

Lets even forget about the toll. The reason for tolling the road has been defeated. The traffic is worse than ever. A roundabout has no business being on Ajah/Badore. Its like telling people from 3rd mainland to stop for people on ikorodu rd to move vice versa. There is nothing like alternative road. They just created a small opening for you to take and come out from Chevron rd, which Chevron built with their hard earned money.

At Lekki, you are diverted to raods which already exist for people living at Oniru. Its like taking short cuts through people's "backyard" Its terrible, i tell you. There is mad traffic at the so called alternative routes as they deliberately mutilate(pardon my grammer) the road so as to render it impassable so that people will use the toll road. Even the toll Road is chaotic. Too much traffic, uncordinated. Infact it is just a mess.

This is real rubbish of the highest order. If you see the suffering Ajah residents are made to go through because of the useless construction work by this lekki people. It is terrible.

I cant believe this is happening. Someone should wake me up from this dream. Can a Govt be so inhumane to its citizenry just because of money to be made?

The traffic has worsened in Ajah area, more than what it used to be before this construction started.

I wish we can emulate Egypt.
