@OP very interesting and educative thread. However, i think you should take a second look at your circumstances. Having three straight bad helps could be a reflection of you. I believe you should draw closer to God. Having kids at after school and the likes doesn't even guarantee their safety. Put God first and everything will fall in place.

You might not have a house help that is a minor that lives with you. You could make do with professional helps just to assist. Also please do not leave home work with those after sch carers. Home work should be with you. Even if you dont have the time everyday, you can make do with weekends, holidays etc. Having the children grow up more in the house than in carers' really helps in their development and appreciation of their environment. You have done well, anyway.

I have a help who has been with us for over 5 years. Infact she is like our own sister. In order for her to also develop herself, we had to employ a professional who works during the day. We are also very very involved in their development. They excel in their academics, extra curricular and are always aware of whats going on around them.

@OP, also involve family members in your home, so the children can be used to seeing other people aside you and your hubby. That way they can easily know who is a family and who are strangers. May God help us all.

My foundation cost 4.8million. It was made for a duplex but i changed my mind and now having a bungalow.

We have completed the entire plastering, dressing, and installing of metal doors in this house. Burglary protectors as well as window glass has been fully installed. The only works remaining here are the wooden door frames, dressing them, doing something about the floors, floor tiles, wall tiles, frontal tiles and plumbing fittings. Something should also be done about the kitchen, I have a guy who can make the kitchen so beautiful that people will shout, but he is not cheap. This will be followed by electrical fittings and then we shall be having our first house warming party in this forum

@spyder, please after roofing comes 1st stage electricals and installation of plumbing pipes. What comes next? Roughly how much would be spent for rough electrical. If you can give me your number, it will be helpful too.
