It is not raging in Nigeria alone,it is raging in Mali,Gambia,Burkina Faso ,northern Ghana and anywhere Fulanis are.Objasanjo called it Fulanization of west Africa.
Fulani is the only people and language that refused to respect the European sub-division of West Africa into Anglo and Franco speaking states. They are not restricted by the false and artificial borders erected by Europe when they parted homogeneous ethnic groups and called one part French, the other English. Since Independence of West African states Fulanis have been working steadily reuniting their various groups and forming a broad stretch of one unified people in language and political dominance. ...and these people we call uneducated! grin

Look at educated Yoruba. We have a French speaking Yoruba, we have a English speaking Yoruba. This is what my people call education.
Business › Igbo Traders In Yenagoa Market Protest Hoodlums' Attack, "Spirits responsible" by MetaPhysical(op): 4:35am On May 21, 2019
Spirits responsible for theft — Market guards

YENAGOA—HUNDREDS of Igbo market traders at the Swali Ultra-Modern Market in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, yesterday, shut their businesses in protest of burglary of their shops by hoodlums.

The traders, who also protested the detention of their leaders by security operatives, threatened to shut down their businesses until their leaders are released or charged to court.

Addressing newsmen at the Swali Ultra-Modern Market yesterday, Secretary of Igbo Traders Union, Jude Osigwe, lamented that most of the traders have lost millions of Naira in cash and goods to hoodlums in the past months. Osigwe said: “In the past eight months, some armed hoodlums have been coming to our shops to extort us and when we reported the matter to the Police, they told us that there is nothing they can do. “When we reported to the market management, they promised to look into the matter. “Only recently, when we came to open our shops in the morning, we observed that our shops have been burgled and cash and goods carted away. “The security men we pay monthly to secure our shops told us it is spirits that are responsible for the theft and in the past three months, over 70 shops have been burgled and goods and cash carted away.
“As Igbo and the majority traders in the market, we are the most affected. Our traders association leaders have been arrested over some allegations and if our leaders are arrested, all of us are arrested and we cannot be trading when our leaders are in detention.”

Ohaneze Ndigbo reacts

Reacting, President of the South-South Youth Wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Arthur Chinedu, while demanding the immediate release of the leaders of Igbo traders in Bayelsa State, said the state will experience a total shut down of businesses by Igbo traders. He said: “We are begging for the release of Igbo traders’ leaders in Bayelsa State. The people arrested are the eyes of Igbo people in the business sector and without doing that, Bayelsa State will experience a total shut down of market and businesses in the entire state.”

The spokesperson of the Bayelsa State Police Command, Asinim Butswatt, could not be reached for comments.

Travel › Air Peace Removed Passenger Asking For Safety Instruction Be Read In Igbo by MetaPhysical(op): 4:17am On May 21, 2019
A passenger with Air Peace was today de-boarded by the airline over claims that he could not communicate in English during safety briefing.

The passenger identified as Mr. Christopher Aniagboso told the cabin crew to translate the safety briefing for passengers in the over-wing exit seats in Igbo language and not English as is the standard.

The airline in a statement by its spokesman, Mr. Chris Iwarah, said that other passengers around him offered to translate what was being said in English to him, but he insisted that the crew must brief him in Igbo language.

Besides, Iwarah said that efforts to relocate the unruly passenger from his seat to the other proved abortive despite the intervention of the cockpit crew.

He, however, said that the passenger who had earlier on May 12, 2019 missed his morning Lagos-Owerri flight was communicating to its ground staff in fluent English, but later showed up for the afternoon flight in good time and was issued an over-wing exit seat on request .

He insisted that his antics of not being able to communicate in English were meant to delay the flight.

Iwarah declared that his de-boarding was necessary in a bid to guarantee the safety of its crew and customers and said it would not tolerate an act that would jeopardise safety on any of its flights.

He said: “When all efforts to have Mr. Aniagboso cooperate with the crew failed, the crew advised him to change his seat as the flight was already running late. He declined the advice to change his seat.

“The captain of the flight, who was eventually briefed on the development, also did everything to secure Mr. Aniagboso's cooperation to no avail. At this point, our crew members were left with no other alternative than to advise Mr. Aniagboso to disembark to enable the flight depart.

“Only those who were able to clearly understand and express their willingness to perform their safety responsibility are allowed by aviation regulations to sit in the exit row. It is also clearly stated in the safety cards that only those who can speak English are allowed to sit in the exit row.

“All through Mr. Aniagboso interaction with our ground staff, he communicated in fluent English. So, his claim of not being able to communicate in English at the point of the safety briefing was meant to disrupt and delay the flight.

“Air Peace takes pride in promoting the use of all local languages on board our flights without discrimination. We encourage our crew to speak the local language whenever it is possible to do so. But we do not allow passengers with ill motive to disrupt our flights and endanger the safety of our esteemed customers and crew.

“Conducts with the potential of jeopardising the safety of our esteemed customers and crew are not welcome on any of our flights,” he added.

Bidding for infrastructural contracts in each state is traditionally open to anybody but selectively given to indigenes of the state. This is the practice everywhere in Nigeria. The winning contractor has obligation to deliver the infrastructure to the satisfaction of the awarding principal, whether Local, State or Federral governm ent.

In East, contractors do a very minimum and cut edges, believing that the structure will soon start to degrade and show signs of failure, which then necessitates maintenance to avoid its complete collapse. The govt awards a maintenance contract which is continous and becomes a cash cow contract that is renewed every year, or under each administration. The maintenance itself is poor. So gradually infrastructures weaken and collapse or become a threat to life. This is what happened with Akanu Ibiam Airport. Ibos are their own enemies.

Imagine if they had attended to the renovation of this airport with dilligence and sense of ownership when the contract was first awarded by Stella Oduah as Aviation Minister....the story of the airport would be different today.

But you hear them now blaming FG for marginalizing Ibo.

The airport is just one out of many such examples. You probably have seen when deomelo post pictures of their supposedly a "suspension bridge" in Anambra. You see maintenance contractors on ladder applying plaster to fix a widening crack in the concrete, and you wonder if Anambra has any sense of responsibility to the lives of citizens that use that bridge daily.

Since they want to cover the deficiencies in their region we must join hands and help them cover it up. grin

Id rather have LG remain under a thieving Governor and accessible at grassroot ownership than have it given autonomy and become dependent and accountable under a FG intent on using LG land for grazing routes. Look far beyond your nose and imagine the possibilities of LG becoming another statutory territory under a centralized federation.

You not entirely correct.
More pictures are coming.
Pictures of the ghetto parts of Obollo-Afor.
Obollo-Afor is a town, not some hamlet somewhere in the innards of Enugu State.
She deserves the same attention given to Enugu City and other urban hubs in the State.
What is happening at Mbu and Eha-Alumona should not in any way make the current decay of infrastructure in Obollo-Afor acceptable.
You appear to be desperately pushing some false logic, namely; that Obollo-Afor should stay as it is because Mbu and elsewhere are in need!

This thread is about Obollo-Afor, not about Mbu and Eha-Ndiagu.
Mind you, my father owns properties at Umuarima Eha-Ndiagu, and Nzuteigbo! I can't remember the last time I visited there. The roads are long gone to the worst form of gully erosion.
Those places are among the forgotten parts of Enugu State that rightly deserve serious attention from government.
Perhaps a new thread will have to be created by you for that.
For now, this thread is about Obollo-Afor!
If the plight of Mbu and Eha touches you, create awareness about it. Create a thread here. Post pictures, and let the world see the neglect and crude marginalization going on.
Is that clear?
I praise your honesty and forthrightness. Trust me, governments in Nigeria are useless, same crop of corrupt politicians rule the landscape. You have to shame them publicly and draw attention to their incompetence and they will respond and do what should ordinarily have been their priority assignment. I bet you with the awareness you put out here it will soon reach government house and they will respond positively to address the issues.

You should be applauded for standing up and demanding a change. One by one, village after village, town after town, city after city, wipe out deficiencies and introduce empowerement. It will not all be done under one administration but one completed project per administration and in twenty years Obollo Afor will be transformed. Good luck!

Everything is disjointed.

In one of Asari's video he talks about a meeting between himself and Kanu and Uche Mejiofor in Benin Republic and asks rhetorically "how did the Nigerian government know we had a meeting in Benin". grin grin

I call it disjointed coalition.

The South of Benin Republic is Yoruba, the North is Hausa, between them is Bariba. Its like going to your enemies house to discuss how you intend to destroy him...then wondering how he knew about the meeting. Very funny and shows how naive Asari and Kanu is.

Similarly, here is a body announcing a coalition but without any form of intelligence gathering. They are planning defense. Fulani herdsmen will be defeated with attack, not defense. Very disjointed!

On topics such as this its always beneficial and rewarding for me to wait past page2 before commenting. I see where opinions lie.

The truth of the matter is in democracy godfathers are indispensable. Elrufai, without a godfather, would not be a governor anywhere....particularly in Kaduna there are people more qualified than him in all aspects. So when elrufai says he dislodged godfathers what he is talking about, and as far as Kaduna is concerned, is breaking the christian coalition and their erstwhile powerblock in the state administration. This made it possible for him to do a muslim/muslim ticket in a state with indigeneous christians. There are still godfathers in Kaduna but they are muslims and empowered to suppress christianity.

Elrufai sent letters to the kataf chiefs and told them their domain will no longer be recognized as chiefdoms. They are now under emirate kingdoms. The chief of agwom that resented this idea was kidnapped and murdered. This is how elrufai fight godfatherism in kaduna.

Okay wait o. We will see. Let Ohaneze present their person maybe Peter Obi and let SW present Osinbajo and let us see
As it stands now, and if rotation continues to be respected, SE is in line to be President in 2039. If they allow Atiku to run PDP again 2023, their turn will be extended another 16years out.

APC is on course to zone South. But if PDP, instead of zoning South hands its flag to North, Ibo will be the victim, not Yoruba, not Hausa.

Atiku loves to run a cerebral campaign he did in 2011, in 2015 and in 2019. He will go into a lenghty presentation about urban regeneration and market capitalism. He will try it again in 2023....assuming he is PDP candidate. His cerebral approach will not stand credibility against a Yoruba candidate in APC. We are the owners of urbanism and capitalism in Nigeria and we have intrigues in those areas that will negate his points and ridicule his credibility. Moreover, Afenifere will not support PDP against its own son in APC. SW for PDP will look like 2015, if not worse.

The North will be the swing region in 2023. This is all under assumption that Atiku is PDP candidate! They will want power to remain in North and they would prefer Atiku because they know corruption and the looting of Nigerian treasury will resume under him. They contribute nothing to it, so they really wouldnt care that the revenue generated by resources in South is handed out freely where they are the biggest benefactor. The North is fearful of a restructure or a secession. They remain suspicious of Ibo in this regard. The just concluded election attests to that. At the presidential, Atiku lost overwhelmingly in NW and NE but at gubernatorial they realigned and voted locally and pushed APC out. It's because of Peter Obi they rejected Atiku. So in 2023 the acceptance of Atiku by North will be conditional on who his running mate is.
He will be rejected again if he picks Ibo. He cannot pick SS because they were VP in 2011 under YarAdua. He must pick Yoruba for VP if he hopes to win. Therefore, Yoruba will end up President or VP of this country in 2023. If we end up as VP again, Ibo's chance at Presidency extends beyond 2039, add 16yrs....2055!

Assuming the alternative that Presidency in PDP comes South, it will be either SW or SE. APC will win 2023 again. PDP wants power, so they might forego SE and give its flag to SW. We are back to 1999, candidates of both parties are Yoruba and so SW wins! Remember, candidates of both parties in 2019 were Fulani.

Ibo will get rotation in 2039, or in 2055, the choice of fate is in their hands. Either choice does not bother or affect our chance at the executive.

When you point issues in their states out they use excuses and dodges to avoid its discussion...some will even defend their governors against attack inspite of the vivid abuse and negligence. When they see other regions expanding growth and amenities to their citizens, they will forget their flimsy excuses and defense of negligent and abusive governors but blame Nigeria for neglecting and marginalising them.

The logo on a car like bmw, audi, lexus, infiniti and so on serves zero function on the car but does have a trade value separate from the vehicle model itself.

Couple of years ago Ford America owned a franchise for Jaguar and they started making Jaguar. In the deal the brand known as Jaguar was negotiated separately from the production and assembly deal.

The states should fight this. NFIU was not created to supervise statutory roles bequethed to states. They have no business on who or where or how money should be disbursed. They are created as a proactive agency to fight financial corruption and embezzlement.

If they succeed in usurping state powers who knows what else they will be trying to do. If Buhari support their move on this then it would mean their published function is a smokescreen and they were truly created to expand FG's control and bring grassroot directly under control of the center.
