He is biafran. Look at his hand glove. |
It is symbolic and a very nice and impressive statement to make, particularly on first day at the job.... but his protocol officers are sure to overide that choice quick. |
krattoss:Please confirm, lets make sure OP is truthful. |
This is cruel act. The tower can be a monument and serve as landmark into the future. I think the arm is out of place and he could have had that knocked off and replaced with something else to symoblize a value in Imo or Iboland in general, instead of a total destruction of the whole structure. |
newsynews:Davido is a circumstantial supporter, not a "staunch" supporger of PDP. We scr3wup our social communication with too much frivolous and out of meaning words....put square words in round holes. |
Are they getting paid the whole six months? Where does Kaduna get money to fund such non-productive but rewarded hours? |
Kanu will be Supreme President of Biafra effective 30th of May. Ibos and the word "supreme" are like twins. ![]() |
We've gone over this issue here before. Location of airport is not based on federal character. When you build airport it has to generate income and be profitable. It also has to be sustainable. SE is not gaining population. More people migrate out than are coming in so your net migration is a negative. Due to high rate of crime your higher class population...your elites who could afford air transportation on regular basis and encourage traffic in and out of the airport...are permanent migrants and dont even live in SE, their trip is seasonal. Theyd rather fly in and out of Lagos or Abuja or Kaduna every week for one business or the other than build a pattern of regular flights to Enugu and risk becoming target of kidnappers looking for ransom money. Your low class ride bus to and fro, and even at that...buses going out run at full capacity whereas on their return trips their seats are hardly occupied. So who is going to use Enugu Airport? How is it going to generate income if traffic is light? You all think im joking when i say SE is deficient. |
Spechialone: oya buy one of these sculpted works for me to appease my anger. This Dotun guy got some talent, does he not? |
Spechialone: im not your friend again. |
Where was Tinubu today sef? Hey ipobs, where una deity? ![]() |
Comeon guys....thats transistor for fulani radio broadcast. ![]() May God bless President and spare his life to complete the term. |
The Nepalese who in past history climbed this mountain, with far less protection...how did they do it? |
kolaaderin:Put some curvy big butt slay mamas up there at the summit and see if i dont join the long line of black men on ascent to goat and beer camp III, singing "we shall overcome"! . |
kernel01:In academic excellence you are behind us. Your exam results are suspicious. We find this out when you enter University and fail to replicate your exam wizardry in higher learning and match it to academic performance. Why is it only in exams proctored in East that you excel? Ibo students are in North, in West....how come they don't turn out with top bracket results as their kins in East? How come your wizardry starts and ends in the exam session....not in the three years before or the four to five years after? ![]() We know what you do....we help you cover it up. |
Hotworta1:You are ignaant (as my ghetto riders would say)! The bold is like asking for an airport in Lagos Island. Seaport in Onitsha is an impractical urban project and ought not to even appear in political discourse comparing notes on city planning and vision. You are ignaant! ![]() |
Rossikk:True, but even though your review is based in contemporary times the question nonetheless opens up a root issue around competencies and capacities that have always been there historically before and since the inception of Nigeria. The key background in your question centers around urban planning and growth. Correct? Onitsha is an urban center and grows but certain aspects of social advancement is missing...i.e, citadels of learning. Before now, in a past time what was Onitsha? What was its mood? What is Onitsha today....and what is its mood? More importantly, there is a tier-1 University in Iboland. What informed its location in Nsukka and not Onitsha? You cannot escape the past to answer questions about the now! ![]() |
Autojosh, Good job with keeping record and credit to the administration. The pictures are record of history for future generations. I should remind you however, that your signature on the records does not confer any proprietary rights. These pictures, even though they are stamped with your mark can be reused in any manner by anyone. You should already know that public space is open asset and no one can claim rights of exclusivity. Beside that, I am confident your watermark is trademarked.... ![]() |
Rossikk:Very good question. When West was building institutions of higher learning for its citizens, rather than do same in East, Ibos were preoccupied with becoming VCs in the institutions built in West; they abandoned a more pressing needs at home and dug down into a race to be "first". While they achieved the "firsts", till date, they have never recovered from the "deficiencies" caused by their neglect and lack of vision. UNN did not have a capacity to match Unilag, UI, OAU, YabaTech; Ibo became casualty of migration to get education in West. Thus when you look at a list of Who is Who in Iboland, rare to find one who did not school in Yorubaland. Laxity of Onitsha is on record as one of the casualties of Azikiwe's greed and covetousness for another man's possession. |
Explorers:Good job sir! Very educative thread. |
Wayne4uall:In that circumstance it's the pressure differential that causes the lungs to collapse. |
kunkelhanspeter:Somethings are not worth dying for! Cost factor is a huge component of risk management. What do you lose, and what do you gain by embarking on a challenge against extreme nature? |
sisisioge:Your black @ss know that. ![]() Whites brain is wired wrong. When their weather fortune tellers get on tv and say "don't go to the sea tomorrow, hurricane is heading towards shore". They will get their boat ready and kit up to sail tomorrow.... That's the d0mb part. The funny part is they will call their insurance the day before and make sure their life insurance is still good, and then update their written will and email to their lawyer right before they depart. This is just in case of incasity and they don't make it back! |
E be like say mama Aragon body don stale...FFK is ready for new and fresh Ibo t0t0. Oniranu! |
Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara did not go? How are we to know what they talked about now? |
I am amused at FFK asking OPC to be ready. ![]() |
How US treats his works vs how Nigeria treats it. Visual artist Dotun Popoola has expressed anger at the state of a sculpture he created 10 years ago as his final year school project at the Obafemi Olowowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State. The sculpture is a 15ft portrait of Prof Wole Soyinka, which is erected on the ridge of the recently-opened Wole Soyinka Museum at Ile-Ife. The artist said the piece was originally placed on three books that represent poetry, prose and drama, which gave Soyinka his Nobel Laureate Prize. The intellectual aspect of the artwork is damaged, he said at a press conference in Lagos.Nigeria get problem, and it doesnt care to fix it. mmtccheew

Spechialone:...with me, or with the sculptor? ![]() |
matify83:LASTMA had no jurisdiction on those roads. If a LASTMA officer directed a truck operator to vacate and he refuses to obey the officer lacks enforcement power to act. FRSC has jurisdiction. The involvement of LASTMA in the supervision to tow and remove non-compliants is strictly for logistics. |
Having witnessed the consequence of false and "forgetful" declarations, I bet no one will dare forget any asset or fail to account true value on their estate this Next Level. We can change attitude and mindset in Nigeria and become disciplined and upright, we only need a leader to convince us as Buhari has made us believe in the possibility. |
