Someone pass this Iboman in Arabian dress to Nnamdi Kanu to comment on. ![]() |
dokie:The guys you call agberos and motorpark touts are covered under the highlight, every region in Nigeria has its portion of them. They exist in SE, and they are Ibo not Yoruba. When comparing our regions what you should look at are not what is uniformly found in both, but the differentiator that sets us apart will conclude who is ahead of the other. It is true that left in SE those who hawk fan yogo and gala and water would not anywhere be financially independent as they are in SW, even though their spirit of hardwork and effort is same in SE as it is in SW. So it is not their energy, not their enterprise, not their hardwork or effort or drive that gives them social mobility and financial independemce, it is the market that differentiates, and the market in SW empowers them....whereas the market in SE is a deficit to them. Market itself as we have told you many times on this nairaland forum is a dynamic in Yorubaland, it has its rituals. The rites and custody of markets in Lagos must remain in Yoruba hand and under Yoruba leadership - Iyaloja, Babaloja. This tradition creates the buoyant exchange under which your energetic and driven brother can migrate from a deficient market in SE that fails him and attain success in the market in SW that aids him. They are not better than their Yoruba peers. Their peers were born into an ennabling and empowering society where efficiency and advancement is the overriding theme. Yoruba children are not born into deficiency, culturally or economically. Their sense of social independence is inbred and they ride the wave to attain excellence. Yoruba boys have no need, no pressure to migrate out of an efficient and economic success system in SW into a deficient and economic stagnation ypu have in the SE. Why would anyone do that? Hence our migration is in the direction of societies more developed and buoyant than what we have at home....and for this reason we are not all over Nigeria but you can find us in Europe and America in plentitude. For those of us who remain at home you can find us in corporate jobs. While the streets affords your hawking boys their training and business maturity, corporate board rooms gives our boys their training and business maturity. While you graduate from street to shops our boys graduate from managers to executives. So the difference is clear in the environment that bred us and you and as well the dynamism or lack of in the respective regions. There is no person who started as a gala hawking boy and graduated up the advancement ladder to become a financial giant in this country, but there are many who started as interns in corporations and are now themselves corporate giants, and it all happens in the dynamism of markets of exchange in Yorubaland. There are many energetic and driven Ibo hustlers in SE, where are they compared to their brothers that migrated to SW to hawk gala....they are viewed with indignity and oppressed by Yoruba speaking Ibos during homecoming at christmas . The separation is clear between the "haves" and the "have nots", and it is all thanks to Yorubaland, not your energy or know how. |
Gandollar:Lol. Is that what Fayose told you? |
SLAP44:So he alleviates sufferings of Imo people when he spends out of pocket to renovate stadium? |
SLAP44:God forbid that a Yoruba governor-elect will be so naive to declare his incompetence publicly that he is spending money out of pocket to repair a state-owned stadium. May God never ever give us such a governor-elect anywhere in Yorubaland. |
SLAP44:An ignorant Southerner spotted! Dalung, Ogbeh and Lai are not Hausas. |
eyeview:You say this with pride as if the funding is an act of philantrophy. Its a loan the state must reimburse with interest and fees. |
PDP needs a politician with grassroot network and has history of winning elections to take it forward. Atiku has zero political weight and is a serial looser. In 2023 he is going to face very tough opposition in PDP. Some Governors are ready for him in the primary of 2022, they will outspend him. |
Are these left over from war? They should inert them and put in museum. |
These are the people sent to SE last year to offer 2023 Presidency and negotiate a deal for APC to nominate an Ibo as its flag-bearer. 1. President Buhari himself 2. Boss Mustapha x twice 3. Chris Ngige x twice 4. Rotimi Amaechi Ibos turned down the offer and embraced PDP. They said "our son", Peter Obi is VP. At a point they came out point blank and said the destiny of Ndigbo is not in the hands of Buhari and APC. So why are they now asking APC and Buhari to intervene in their destiny and allow them to rule? Maka why ![]() |
Uyi168:Not every offense must lead to arrest, sometimes its just sufficient to raise the awareness and condemn it like he did. It is indeed a crime to burn the currency outside of controlled and approved process. Nigerian government burn currency periodically but thats considered "controlled and within approval". Similarly it is criminal to desecrate or burn national flag or symbols and paraphernalia of sovereingty. Also I am yet to see anyone go to jail for stealing or even destroying mace as was case when Chidi Lloyd turned it to a cane and flogged people with it. We should condemn such acts. |
God bless Buhari! |
aanuoluwami14:Yahoo plus is old, yahoo exponent is in! ![]() Since their motive is murder, is it forbidden for them to be executed when caught and convicted? |
BuhariAdvocate:These are contributing factors that drive business away and the ports in Rivers State are abandoned. Who wants to go and set up his commerce in Sambisa, the heartland of "incessant killings"? Similarly it is no surprise that investors shun Rivers and its ports. |
Kanu is a murderer, a terrorist. A Biafra under this guy will be autocratic, you either follow and do what he says or you will be killed....like they killed Prophet Nwoko. |
hisgrace090:Who will prevent its piracy into into illegal use? Are we going to create a new enforcement group for that or will it be enforced by the existing useless, corrupt law enforcement corps we have now? Akeredolu is an executive. Its not his task to source revenue....thats the job of his economic team. Lagos State is the only place well governed in Nigeria, followed by Osun. These two states know how to administer government, their executives delegate tasks to the responsible teams and make the whole administration efficient in deliverables. No Governor should be doing what Akeredolu just did, travelling to foreign countries to discuss trade. What is the use of his economic team? But this is the pattern across Nigeria except for Lagos and Osun. |
How does Canada validate their story, do they test them with a gay man? I mean....how do they prove their homosexuality? ![]() |
Its a lot of Nwafor Orizus here in Nairaland. ![]() |
You might not need to. Look at the records.... Sokoto - under crossborder terrorism Kebbi - plagued by banditry and terrorism Zamfara - plagued by banditry and crossborder terrorism Katsina -plagued by banditry and crossborder terrorism Kano - emirate restructuring Kaduna - plagued by religious intolerance and persecution Yobe - plagued by terrorism and jihad Borno - plagued by terrorism and jihad Nassarawa - plagued by terrorism and jihad Adamawa - plagued by terrorism and jihad Plateau - plagued by religious intolerance and ethnic conflict Benue - plagued by religious intolerance and ethnic conflict 12 out of 19 Northern States in one turmoil or the other, and these creeps are talking about position on restructuring. If ISIS in West Africa succeeds in bringing these bandits in Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina and Yobe under its command and payroll, thats the end of Northern Nigeria. |
So, Magnus, and others rose from my hands politically. God used me as a tool to spring all of them. During the APC presidential campaign in Rivers State, I told Mr President and the crowd that 80 per cent of the current Rivers politicians passed through me. I nominated Austin Opara, the Deputy Speaker for House of Representatives. I put my cousin Celestine Omeha as Commissioner under Rufus Ada George. Magnus and many others passed through me.Confirmed...we have a godfather in Rivers! ![]() |
I love to read you Mr Aresa Martins. God bless you for knowledge and enlightenement. Sir, I hope you read this. The autochtonous people is what later came out of discovery and mis-labeled NOK. Their cultural color is red....the color of mud, or a burning fire! The migrants are the Yorubas, Kanuris, Hausas, Baribas, Nupes. Their cultural color is blue...the color of dye, or the sea! The writers of the Bible missed out some landmarks in their written record. They misplaced the location of Kush, they misplaced the location of the Nile...and consequently put Nineveh in the wrong place on the map. Where God commanded movement of the Patriarchs to South, they substituted East instead. The world has been confused on the whereabout of the people of the Bible ever since. They are spread about in the Sudan (West Africa). |
alezzy13:Yes, during certain rituals of worship. What they are doing here is more or less atonement. This is when individuals focus on their personal self, their loved ones, their ancestors, pray for the sick, the troubled, the poor, and so on. It is not mandatory to separate here. During acts of God worship, individuals supplicate to Allah and praise and glorify him. It is regarded as a sacred rite. This is where the genders occupy partitioned spaces away from each other. |
Here are my thoughts on the whole thing. 1. Fake hemp will flood the market and poisoning and health hazards wil result 2. North will never allow its legalization in their territory and use Sharia law to regulate its cultivation, distribution and consumption in North. 3. Whatever form of legalization is ruled it will be isolated to the Southerners and their households 4. Proceeds of sale will be shared as national revenue, Northern States with large LGs will get bigger share of the income. 5. A Northerner will be appointed DG to oversee the new cannabis commerce. Do you still believe we should legalize hemp? |
This man is still looking young and sharp o. Lesson to youths that smoke and drink like fish. You better reorder your habits and do what Buhari do if you want to look like this at close to 80yrs old. |
If this is not marginalization I dont know how to describe it. Shut down an airport for abattoir...nama business! ![]() |
comradewanle:Who Kanu said they are efulefus. ![]() |
Onyi22:He could write, teach, go into research study, consult, train to become a negotiator, do volunteer work for UN, be a cultural ambassador, ...many things he can do at that age. He could even take bar exams and become a mediator. As long there is life there is hope. |
Look, SE is too small to have an airport. Give them an airfield please. Infact, an airstrip is enough for now. |
BrownRoofRep:Shut up! Things fall apart will remain relevant and stay promoted because it supports in every aspect the f00lish claim by Eiropeans that the blackman is savage and beneath him. It is Europeans that funded its circulation and promoted it acrpss Africa and all over globe because the whole world can see us in achebe work as he lend narrative to our crude nature. Thats why Things Fall Apart is the most successful of Achebe's work. In novels where he tries to present Africans as a noble race they ignored him. Achebe's product in Things Fall Apart is supportive of Eurocentric racist view of the African savage. |
