Anambralstson:Federal civil servants. |
Anambralstson:....but we are efficient, and we have appeal. Iboland is deficient. When a man is deficient women run away. ![]() |
Anambralstson:Yoruba dont find appeal in deficient land. Yorubas in East are Federal workers or youth corper on forced posting. |
Anambralstson:A man could be poor but if his manhood is intact and he is resourceful he will keep a wife. A rich man with jewels and fortunes but is deficient will have difficulty keeping woman. You have difficulty keeping your people in your homeland because you are deficient! More than 10 buses of ekene dili chukwu arrive Yorubaland everyday to seek efficiency. Forget about your 100 story structure and your red roof, you are deficient and your people run away to Yoruba. ![]() |
Anambralstson:Lagos was developed by Yorubas, as far back as 1859 when a Yoruba man started the first school in Nigeria, CMS Grammar School...to when Awolowo built industries of Ilupeju, Ogba, Oshodi and so on. In fact Yoruba West was known as The Colony and Protectorate of Lagos prior to 1906. When Royal Niger Company, a mercantile company owned your land Ibo had no development and when they sold you to Lugard and joined your land to Oil protectorates you were still deficient. Before independence and war you were deficient, after independence and war you were deficient. Even today, 2019, you are still deficient. |
babatee100:SE is the most deficient enclave in all of Africa. If you know a place in Africa with worse record point it out. |
As long you've been making the announcement they should be here long ago. Where are they coming from, the moon? |
omenkaLives:Bro, those who God ordain, no one can stop...they can try but they will end up consumed in their own plot. God has ordained Tinubu. The rebels that turned away are now running back to him. Even Governors in SE will prostrate before Jagaban in 2022 and ask for his endorsement. |
omenkaLives:They speak first and think later. All the politicians they backed for bucking against Tinubu, one by one, are facing re-election and are returning after realizing the power of his influence. This is Jagaban's time, no point opposing him. Only a looser will oppose Tinubu, those who desire victory will be in his camp. ![]() |
By Chinedu Adonu ENUGU – INDIGENOUS People of Biafra, IPOB, has urged its members across the globe to disregard calls for the boycott of its sit-at-home order slated for May 30th. File: Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, The group said that some people who hate freedom are canvassing for the boycott of the sit-at-home order in honour of those who lost their lives in its struggle for independence. According to statement issued to pressmen by the group’s media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful, “It has been brought to our attention that the usual suspects are once again in their bid to undermine the collective will of all patriotic and genuine children of Biafra to honour those that died for us and 3.5 million victims of the second largest holocaust in modern history. “Rather than anger, we feel pity for these collection of desperados who through their hatred for freedom and historical ignorance are canvassing that 12 hours of buying and selling is more important than honouring the brave men and women that fought to live. It is the height of ingratitude, treachery and exhibition of crass ignorance that those who claim to be educated in this day and age do not understand the significance nor appreciate the symbolism of honouring those unjustly killed. “To equate the momentuous and solemn remembrance of 3.5 million victims of genocide with twelve hours of economic activity is an unpardonable crime both before God and man. These Fulani slaves in Igboland bore witness to the recent visit of the Nigerian vice president, Prof Yemi Osibanjo to Rwanda to remember the 150,000 victims of genocide. Why didn’t Nnia Nwodo’s treacherous Ohaneze and the Fulani herdsmen loving Dave Umahi issue a statement condemning Osinbajo for attending the memorial in Rwanda. “What Nnia Nwodo and Dave Umahi is saying in essence is that 150,000 Rwandan genocide victims is more important than 3.5 million of their own people (Biafrans) slaughtered in similar circumstances between 1967 to 1970. Any leader that worth his salt would canvass for Nigeria to understand the need to declare May 30th a national public holiday but not these traitors. All they care about is their little competition to see who among them will win their coveted Best Fulani Slave in the South East and South South Award 2019. “Leaders who claim to be educated and whose education should have taught them the historic importance, symbolism and essence of remembering victims of an unjust war are the ones trying their desperate best to discourage their people from observing a day of prayers and reflection. “Israel only a few days ago observed the annual Jewish holocaust memorial. This event has been running for over 70 years. Last year 2018 November 11, world leaders attended the Armistice Day commemoration in Paris to remember those that fell in the First World War. This remembrace has been running for over 100 years. Britain that created Nigeria observe the same annual 11th minute of the 11th hour of the 11th month at the Cenotaph in London every year without fail. Only those with a history of colluding with the enemy like Ohaneze and Igbo governors can come out against honoring the memory of their own people. We know, we live in an era of betrayal when mouthing nonsense against IPOB is considered a lucrative business because it attracts the attention of Aso Rock which often leads to financial reward. All inconsequential mushroom groups in the name of Biafra or Igbo hoping to attract favours from Aso Rock by issuing anti-May 30th sit at home statements will have themselves to blame in the future. Every year they come up with their usual nonsense against our sit at home order but in the end they start making comments in the hope of sharing in the glory of 100% compliance”, statement reads. He assured that sit at home must hold no matter the effort of anti-Biafra who wish to destabilised the plan to honour past heroes of Biafra, adding that IPOB must remain undeterred irrespective of the renewed sponsored attacks, false propaganda, arrest and torment. |

SarkinYarki:How so? |
They must first do gragra and then they calm down. Same thing happened when the Babaloja of Ladipo market was appointed. Ibo protested and then calmed down. Its their nature, this is how they behave in North also. People familiar with them know to ignore their noise. Thats why Iyaloja Tinubu-Ojo ignored them and went ahead and installed the pair of Babaloja/Iyaloja for the market. |

PROMINENT stakeholders at the largest Information and Communications Technology (ICT) market in Africa, the Computer Village Ikeja, have thrown their weight behind the need to create the office of Babaloja/Iyaloja in the market by its Community Development Association (CDA). They argued that the office is part of the tradition and customs of the Yoruba, which must be respected by both indigenes and non-indigenes. Three prominent operators in the market stated this position in a chat with reporters over the controversy surrounding the decision to create the office. They are Mr. Bayo Shittu of POWA Plaza, Mr. Bukola Obaremo, managing director/chief executive of B-Brucklin Computers and Mr. Chidi Eze of Oremeji Street, Computer Village, Ikeja. Shittu said: “Nigerians like to tribalise and spiritualise issues. The constitution gives us the right to live anywhere, but we also have to respect the traditions and laws of our host communities. “There are some markets in Igbo land that still follow the Eke and Nkwo market days and no visitor dares go against that. Onitsha market closes on Catholic holidays (Easter). I don’t see other religions or Christian complain about it because it is a culture.” Shittu said: “Babaloja/ Iyaloja is an indigenous title that does not require any election and cannot be entrusted to non-indigenes. The power to appoint Babaloja/ Iyaloja in Yoruba land lies with the oba or Baale (community leader) of the town or village. “This has been the tradition of Lagos. Even when the colonial masters came to Lagos, they respected all these norms. Why must it change now? How many laws and customs of the Southeast have been abrogated for Yoruba?” Obaremo said the move would definitely be for the benefit of both the residents and business owners. “Therefore, it’s encouraging and profitable,” he said. Eze, a non-indigene, maintained that there was a need to respect traditions of any community one finds himself or herself. He added: “The issue of Iyaloja is a traditional title that Yoruba don’t joke with. They take their culture very seriously, especially respect and greetings.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/thenationonlineng.net/ikeja-computer-village-stakeholders-support-installation-of-babaloja-iyaloja/amp/ |

oyatz:All of Iboland was a cartel of Royal Niger Company. They were sold to the protectorate for few thousand pounds. |
Osagyefo98:Yoruba Commonwealth. How many times i go tell you? You are oppressed by that term, arent you? It is impenetrateable! Good!! ![]() |
Bede2u:What in that picture says they are Yoruba? Izala can have branch anywhere in Nigeria. They are probably even in Enugu. |
If dem like sef write article and say he bought jet for sidechick. Fowler will remain in Buhari Administration. He is getting an advancement. His performance in FIRS is marvelous! |
Ibo billionaires are on the level of millionaires in Yorubaland. If you think im lying consider cost of living in West versus cost of living in East. Its a struggle to make 100 thousand naira last 30days in Lagos. In East, in fact in Anambra the most expensive Ibo state, 100 thousand naira will last three months. |
This thread should not be allowed to progress. Mods should lock it up. I say this because the contract for the cleanup needs to go to a son of the Ogoni soil, not anywhere else otherwise it would create problems of different dimensions. It is very possible that nobody on Ogoni soil and who is a indigene know how to manage oil spill, the contract still need to be awarded to them. What the son of soil does with that contract is up to them, and there are many options open for the cleanup to be done. 1. Do nothing and just pocket the money. Which absolves government of complaints of neglect. 2. Do the cleanup the best way they know to and deliver an outcome their community is satisfied with. 3. Reaward the contract to a professional oil spillage management team. The article in this thread is biased and living on stereotype to bash Buhari government without proper balance. |
Deadlytruth, since 1999 that Ive followed political progress in Nigeria Yaradua's government is one that I didnt quite glue my interest to, partly because I was nursing some other interest at the time as well that I had become addicted to the Obasanjo political drama and the air of that enertaining period was sucked out when Yaradua became president. I am able to catch up reading your posts here now. Thanks for the refresher. |
kafulka:I said you arrive Yorubaland penniless with one nylonbag in hand, everything in your name is in that nylonbag and its usually trendy stuffs back in village but to us in Lagos its trash. You cannot compare a scruffy looking starving Ibo that came to Lagos to open eye with Dangote whose background is wealth and or mtn an already successful company in SA before entering Nigerian market. Align yourself properly and humble yourself before i humble you. Dangote is no mate to any Ibo. He has enough wealth to re-enslave your entire land to Ijaw and Igala even in these modern times. He is far far out of your league. Accept who you are, Ibos are deficient, period! Yoruba open your eyes and enrich your means. You cant be successful alone without reference to Yorubaland. All your great heroes past were educated in Ibadan, your modern heroes are educated in Lagos. Your moneybags come poor and get trained in Lagos. Your politicians were mentored in Lagos. Shut up where Yoruba is and stop comparing yourself with Yoruba or Hausa. You are the most deficient group in Nigeria. |
MXrep:Yoruba Commonwealth! ![]() Ibos are intimidated by this term. Im going to continue to use it. |
