Why are BMC always shouting looter/looting??

Isn't it stupid that this is their only defense, especially when we can clearly see the large number of fantastically corrupt individuals in this Buhari government?

The babaringa magician comes to mind.

This hypocrisy stinks

Nigeria is better of trying Atiku, if he fails to deliver we boot him out after 4 years

We cannot afford to risk a Buhari second tenure!

What lesson will we be teaching these so called politicians if we still vote APC?
Voting Buhari is only going to tell the world that we are fools, but choosing Atiku will send a clear message that Nigerians will not reinforce failure!
That's exactly why he is not going in. Everyday of looting for 4years! Hell no!!

The blog or media that published the statement should be made to disclose source. This is beyond free speech. Sovereingty and National Security is insulated against free speech. Those who try to breach that demarcation should be brought to justice. In addition, this is also an identity theft and cyber crime since they camouflaged and fraudulently used TYD's identity without authorization.

It's not a new practice and no one should be shocked after the episode with Omokri (alias Wendel)

plaetton:
This slowpoke doesn't understand what debt is and what role it plays in the economy.

Every nation , even rich nations borrow to stimulate economic growth. The theory is that a GDP increment of say $1Tr or even half a $Trillion would more than compensate for the mere $35b in additional debt.
In fact, in the early days of this administration, the former finance minister Kemi Adeosun is on record as stating that Nigeria's Debt to GDP profile was quite low. She was using that as a justification for Nigeria to borrow more money to fund the government.
It is on record that the period between 2010 - 2015 recorded unprecedented economic expansion in Nigeria.
Borrowing without commensurate economic expansion is what they call the Debt Trap. And this is where we are right now, and it doesn't look any brighter unless a new vision is thrust into the economic management of Nigeria.
Forget about projections and theories. Where did over $32billion go? If you have the projects to show for it, please bring it on. We are in age of online and cloud archiving, record keeping did not stop in 2010 and resumed in 2015. Show me the money...!

PDP is incompetent.
In government we expect a succeeding administration to review the works left uncompleted by its predecessor and prioritize them for completion. This is Best Practice! APC knows this because, unlike PDP, it is serious about government business. PDP should never contend with APC and fight for credit for project completion, never! They are not PDP projects....they are national projects. But because you go into government with intent to loot...the only thing that occupy your mind is loopholes for stealing money. When the loop hole is blocked you become a spoiler on national news, trying to discredit APC, the task manager that steps in and show responsibility and accountability.

I will repeat, PDP is exponentially incompetent in all ramifications!

The last time PDP tried to create jobs, thousands of youths died, after they paid hard earned money to apply for jobs already earmarked to PDP elites to fill with their children.

The electorate is wise now. There is an electoral cost of ideology, a sort of emptiness, in Atiku's political aspirations. Beside wanting the Presidency at all costs, everything else that should spur the national spirit is empty in Atiku. Pictures and endorsements of newspaper publishers is not going to fill the gap.

Buhari gave us a strong spirit of patriotism to recover the nation from the hands of thieves....and his selling point was integrity and credibility as a national character.
Health › Re: PLEASE SAVE MY MOTHERS LIFE SHE'S NOW ON DIALYSIS MACHINE by MetaPhysical: 2:06am On Oct 30, 2018
Engrj,
Why are you splashing your mother's medical record online like this? This is private and personal information and we do not need to see this.

I also have an advise for you on how best you can raise this money + more for future maintenance costs, since this has to be managed on an ongoing basis. Contact Nigerian Medical Association. Contact University Teaching Hospitals around the country. Write Minister of Health, or write a TV station with national coverage and ask them to adopt your mom's health challenge. Just to clarify for you what I mean by adoption here.....when corporate sponsors endorse Cancer Research or Cancer Treatments, they often pledge an amount, and eventually the donated money start to trickle in and grow exponentially. This is called adoption, and that's what I meant in my suggestion here.

I need to add as well, that corporations usually have community welfare votes in their annual budgets. This is money earmarked for corporate responsibility in the community. Most do not use up their fund. It is tax exempt and free money. Get with big corporations or have a TV or National Newspaper take the case up and do a drive on your behalf.

Wish you well and praying for your mom. God Bless!

The beauty of it is that 90% of the APC chieftains that are now saints looted the money also. How about that?

1. Amaechi
2. Governors of Kano, Kaduna, Adamawa, plateau, Niger, Bauchi, Jigawa, Zamfara, Katsina, kebbi,
3. Akpabio, Ndume, Omo- Agege, Udo Udoma, Boss Mustspha, Abdullahi Adamu etc

Were parts of the loot. Just that they are now saints.
The reason parents are selective about what neighborhood to live and raise their children is because environment is a big factor in shaping aspirations. Check into the background of the people you listed, or the states you listed and you will see that PDP was prominent in their political outlook to a significant point. Their political career advanced in an environment of PDP corruption; they could not escape the influence. I will restate here what I said few days ago; that, a stark difference exist between a government administration and the people who serve in it, and we must not fail to draw that distinct line for all to see.

Buhari is running an Administration. Maina and Babachir are individuals or agents that serve in that administration. The administration is corrupt-free and open. It is impossible anywhere in the world, however clean an administration is to not have few corrupt elements in it. If it didn't happen that will be a perfect system....but we know no system is inherently perfect.

What we want in Nigeria is corrupt-free administration. It is not possible to change a government that is corrupt, you have to wait 4yrs. Therefore prevention must precede choice and wisdom must precede impulse, to make sure we are not entrusting government in the hands of corrupt individual, as has been the case last 16yrs with PDP. You can easily remove Babachir or Maina, corrupt staffs, overnight; not so an administration thats corrupt, you have to wait 4years. That's a long time to wait when the treasury is being looted everyday.

Out of the 16yrs PDP spent in govt, half of it...8yrs was wasted in personal antagonism between a President and his Vice. They left govt business to the side and made ridicule of themselves on national tv.
Politics › Re: FACT-CHECK: How Accurate Is Osinbajo’s Claim On Nigeria’s Debt Profile by MetaPhysical: 6:08am On Oct 29, 2018
Osinbajo should stop confusing issues. The FG external debts should be separated from State Debts. A state like Lagos that have mounted billion of debts in Dollars was not under PDP.
This is exactly what I mean when I say PDP is politically incapable of running government, whether in ruling capacity or in opposition. You ran govt by default, not with any doctrines or ideals for social progress. The set of people that ran PDP at national level would not succeed running a Council in any Local Govt in SW; and this is a fact statement because we see what happened to PDP in SW over the years.

You are asking the Central Govt not to account for debts in its Sovereignty. Is that what I read in your statement above? Are you aware that debt is a component of national security? So you want to calculate GDP using productivity at State level but selectively skip their debts in national accounting? That's how PDP left holes open for illegitimate bank accounts and funds to float around. APC takes government business serious!
Politics › Re: FACT-CHECK: How Accurate Is Osinbajo’s Claim On Nigeria’s Debt Profile by MetaPhysical: 5:15am On Oct 29, 2018
In 2010 our debt was $35 billion, $41 billion in 2011, $48 billion in 2012, $64 billion in 2013, $67.7 billion in 2014
PDP went from $35billion in 2010 to $67.7billion in 2014. This is almost 100% debt increment in one term. Where did 32.7billion dollars go?
They shared it!

This is excuse for failure and indictment of the incumbent administration.

90% of the issues listed by the OP became issues or pronounced issues under the present administration. Take for instance the issue of federal character in sharing offices, herdsmen-farmers clashes, ease of doing business, food security etc, these issues became problem since the coming of the government. They were issues in the past that were tackled but was never considered national problems until the time of this government, due to their maladministration and lack of political will.

Like I opined, the PDP has all these sorted in a blueprint that will be released soon, which the incoming PDP administration will execute to the benefit of Nigerians and the glory of God.
Under the democracy system of governance, as well the Parliamentary, a Government is a complement of the ruling power and the opposition power, a majority and minority coming together to progress society. Is this not true?

Can you give us three top events in past 4yrs in which PDP exercised its position in minority to advance social progress, or even raised a point of policy on any national issue? If you can, kindly associate the three points to any on the list above.

1. Federal character was a major issue under Jonathan and for which SW took offense and resolved to kick him out of government.

2. Herdsmen/Farmers clashes has been ongoing before you and I were born, and it had always been a serious issues, enough that Buhari went to confront Oyo State Governor about it. It was serious enough issues that in 2012 or 2013, Berom took a severe stand and roasted and ate on tv some of the massacred fulanis.

3. There was never an ease of doing business in Nigeria. There was ease of looting and bribing, to the point that we gained notoriety around the globe that nothing gets done in our bureaucracy until front-end and back-end gatekeepers have had their palms greased. Is this what you call ease of doing business? More like ease of approving corruption!

4. Food security, was it not under PDP that citizens were dying in thousands for consuming expired imported foods and drugs? PDP was busy looting the treasury that you left border security and import regulations loose. No standards! Expired foods and poisons flooded the supply chain and killed people.

...please hurry up and bring us the PDP positions on these issues. I will be here by God's Grace to go deep on them one at a time and clarify for readers.

OP, I am grateful to you, great job opening this thread. Yes, I agree, we need this. We need to clarify these points and educate citizens and win them away from prophesying pastors that dupe their intelligence.

Right in your face... The prophecy is manifesting already

Saraki... Dogara.. Kwakwanso Etc decamping to the opposition.. More are coming... Amosun.. Etc

Buhari will not only be defeated but embarrassed at the polls
The defections are not prophecies, they are projections. You can project as well and don't need these fake pastors to defraud you and treat you like you are dvmb. When you place bet, you are projecting or forecasting or speculating the odds of an event coming true. You dont need a special gift to do this. Even someone telling us how much votes Buhari will get within a small margin of error and it comes true, is still not a prophecy.

Prophecy will be someone saying the sun will not rise in Africa for the next 3 months and it will be dark and cold but after that will come relief and abundance after the sacrifice and cleansing of the dark months...and then it happened precisely as he said it.

The concerns of the OP are not just mere policies but requires detailed blueprint to address them, which the PDP has taken care of and will be rolled out soon.

Your final paragraph is incorrect, the APC being incumbent has failed in every way, hence, these issues persist. If the APC had addressed them they won't be listed as concerns by the OP.
I want to share that what the OP listed are not new issues that happened to Nigeria under the current administration. They are legacies, some of which have been around since 1960 or shortly after. PDP spent 16years in government as the de facto power, not just in Executive position but as well had the majority in Legislative, plus appointments to the Judiciary Benches. What stopped PDP from resolving these issues before APC came to power, if they were that easy to resolve? What hindered previous regimes and administrations from resolving these issues if it was possible to just flick the finger and get it done? The root cause of these problems is corruption. Trust and sense of ownership is attached to the root cause. Now, APC has done tremendously well putting measures into place to curb "illegitimate money" floating around. What PDP could not do in 16years, APC has accomplished in 4. If APC will spend 16years in government we can expect some dramatic outcomes and stability in our society and far better welfare for our people.

The PDP has considered all these and has blueprint to address them in order to better serve Nigerians. Once campaign kicks off a detailed document shall be availed you my Dear OP
That's not true. The issues identified by OP on top are ongoing national problems and some are in crisis state as we speak. To say PDP has a blueprint that will be released during campaign is suggesting they are not in state of readiness. In other words, what bother the citizens are not top priorities on their table. These issues are not campaign items, they are policy topics. I said yesterday on another post that PDP failed to step up as an opposition party. A true and thorough political party in opposition would have an ongoing discussion around these items in a continuous momentum, not wait for election cycle to use them as talk points in rally.

OP,
APC has addressed these issues and in fact have it on their website for public access.

From the way the running mate matter was handled by Atiku, he has shown that he cannot be trusted.
Atiku is not looking for trust, he doesn't care about that. Atiku just wants Presidency, at whatever cost, period.

That moment your parents named you Olufemi Adeniji Kolawole you now change it to Horlufemey Kolahwoley Hardenijiy. It can be so annoying grin
What is their mindset for twisting the names like that? I used to think because keyboards dont have diacritics to accentuate the names, so they vowelized the names to give them close enough English sounds...but I found out there is something else behind that.

Be honest who would like to be president for just one term who not in Nigeria for sure.
No one! Ibos were trooping behind Saraki and appeared to have adopted Saraki as their candidate in the PDP primary. Atiku needed to change the momentum to his favour. There are three items Atiku put in front of Ibos ahead of the PDP primaries. The only region at the primary that had all or nearly all of its delegates vote Atiku was SE. 1) Atiku will select Ekweremadu as VP. 2) Atiku will do one term and handover to Ibo VP. 3) Atiku will restructure Nigeria.

On Atiku's credibility...

Reacting to Atiku's assertions, the Jonathan-Sambo campaign organisation
described him as an inconsistent politician with a known record for
disloyalty and incapacity for keeping of agreements.

Atiku doesn't respect agreements -Sully Abu
Now, every loyal member of a political party ought to abide by the
decision of that party but perhaps, it is too much to expect such
behaviour from Atiku since he has been jumping in and out of political
parties.
We had an agreement. We met and agreed with Atiku and his wife on our choice for his VP and he promised us, but look what he has done. He went behind us and picked Obi. Who did he consult on this choice? -SE Govs.
If he is not dipping his fingers in our treasury, it appears Atiku is jumping parties and abandoning agreements along.

That’s not his real name. You see the problem with changing your name anyhow maybe because it’s not biblical? If you just die somewhere no one will be able to identify you and notify your extended family.
Yoruba ancestors were ahead of their time. Family house and Compounds in Yorubaland are the equivalents of a record database. You can use them resolve a variable.

I hope someone recognizes him and he is claimed.

In fact tribal marks would indeed have placed him already had it been he had one. Think of the tribal mark as a geo-finder invented long before man ever thought of GPS or geo-locator.

I wonder why some Yorubas do one thing behind doors, in the dark and out of public gaze but come out into media and proclaim a different agenda from that adopted in the dark.

Why is Femi Okurounmu, and Afenifere generally, using the media to goad Ibo to believe Yoruba will not vote Buhari? The arrangement behind doors is that we will repeat the era of Awolowo's UPN and make SW politically homogenous with the center. This has been achieved for all six states. The center is APC. They should come out into public and be consistent with the agenda adopted out of public gaze. Yoruba has agreed to return Buhari/Osinbajo to the Villa for another 4years. No need to persuade Ibo to think he has a chance when clearly he does not. We do not need to add to their confusion.
