Lol. Bandits attacked NDA, terrorists attacked and laid siege on Army Command Hqs Jaji, bandits exploded bomb in Army Hqs in Taraba.

They should stop calling it Nigerian Army. It should be called Nigerian Neighborhhod Outfit. This is no Army.

We dont pray for war, but I swear to God ESN go fit defeat these guys if war happen again.

To meet him for what Adam is just a party chairman who is primary assignment is to administer the activities of the party...Adam can only tell his supporters to vote a particular candidate but he dont have power to manipulate the election results in where others executive not
Adamu is not Chairman of INEC. He is Chairman of APC, a party that wants to retain power in 2023.

The best candidate to retain that power for his party is Tinubu. He is negligent of his office by shunning Tinubu. This is why consensus is not good because the installed candidate becomes a tool for those that installed him. Tinubu did not install him, he therefore sees Tinubu as a contradiction of purpose for his beneficiaries. Buhari has betrayed Tinubu, period! The chairman is the cleaner, the laundryman to do dirty job that Buhari could not do himself. Remember, Adamu came from PDP, not APC. He has zero allegiance to the legacy of ACN and any grievance from its old members.

Ibos are minority so they won’t understand what it means to have a Tinubu.

Ibos only power is to talk on social media, so we can understand their frustration. Because we are democrats, we won’t take away the only power they have “Shout on social media”.

Back to the topic, who do you predict the cabal will drop? Let me get your opinion.

Again remember, the cabal we are talking is different from Kaduna mafias.
Lets go back to 1992. I believe, sincerely, that Babangida got away with annulment of MKO's victory because of Yoruba inaction when situation called for one. I also believe that Obj was endorsed installed (consensured) in 1999 because Yoruba declared the partnership with Nigeria was over.

One happened to a Yorubaman in 92 because Yoruba took no action. The other happened to a Yorubanan because Yoruba took action.

Each time Yoruba is in a conflict with Nigeria a part of our grip is loosened, and this introduces us to a new dimension more bitter, less fruitful, with far more barriers than previously when our griphold was stronger.

What is going on in APC now. Yoruba need to stand up collectively behind Tinubu. The nuances and intrigues so far played by APC is sufficient to trip Yoruba for a proactive public display. Buhari and APC have spoken in many words and demonstrated in action where they are heading, why wait for repeat of 92?

You see, Yoruba will not stand up for Tinubu because Tinubu never stood up for Yoruba when he should have done so and build mandate.

Stop contradicting yourself, we were familiar with Kaduna mafia in 1999 and not cabal.

Obj became candidate because your mafia saw the imminent collapse of Nigeria as Nigeria lost her reputation in international community as a result of stiff opposition from the NADECO group championed by the south.

Just flashed your mind back to the type of nationwide strike and protest back then. If such repeat itself now, Nigeria would not last one year
Do you know what "reformed" mean?

Kaduna is reformed, became cabal under civilian. No contradiction.

I have warned Ibos repeatedly to stop under-estimating Tinubu but they don't listen. I am anti-Tinubu because Im pro-Yoruba independence from Nigeria...and I will never even for a second doubt his craftiness to shock and awe APC.

Where were the cabal during Obasanjo? Buhari was just nepotic and surrounded himself with selfish people who exploit his weakness at the expense of the country.

The time is tickling fast and it's dawn on them that South would no longer be liberal with power hence the dying minutes permutation of mediocre playing within APC
Obasanjo did not erect one for himself but he felt their power through Atiku. Infact Obj was a beneficiary of the cabal. Did u forget how Obj became candidate in PDP? grin

The rest of the Kaduna Mafia were all against Buhari in 2019 and still the guy won. They are not as influential as before so I think the “said” power is just a myth in this era.

However I disagree with you, the cabal we are talking about here in this context are not the Kaduna mafia. Except maybe you are diagnosing the issue wrongly.

Cabal are against Tinubu for the same reason why most state governors are against giving people with influence power in their states. It has been the tool politicians use every time and it’s not only peculiar to the current cabal.

However, the cabal themselves are unsure at this juncture, That APC is built on only two stand, the Yoruba caucus and the Northern caucus, if any of the two were to leave, it crumbles. This is different from having influence without power like other candidate, Asiwaju got both so in this game, it is 50/50.

I repeat, there is only one way for both the cabal/Tinubu to reach a compromise, and that is to give Osinbajo. Anything outside that, you will be that the cabal are as powerless as the defunct kaduna mafia.

Can you tell me why you think they are against him?
Your Excellency, Arewa has patriotism to three ideologies.

1. Patriotism to Islam. They love Islam more than they love God. They are religionists, not worshippers.

2. Patriotism to traditional throne. This is their culture, tradition, ritual and history.

3. Patriotism to the territory of Nigeria. They do not love Nigeria. They regard it as a parcel of land given to them as reward in service and faithfullness to Islam. Similar to how Jews regard the parcel of land called Israel as a reward of their faith.

You will never ever hear a person from sharia North say they love Nigeria. They will shout One Nigeria, long live Nigeria, or something similar but never will they say they love Nigeria. If Tinubu reward you a million naira for working on campaign will you love the money? No. You will possess it, not love it. This is how sharia North see Nigeria, a possession, not something to love. Southerners on other hand may love Nigeria for whatever reason.

Tinubu has demonstrated, with results, multiple times, that he is capable of competing for ownership of this territorial reward. He is therefore a threat to the Hausa/Fulani monopoly of power in Nigeria. He wants the same thing they want +more. He is a master strategist known for displacing power. grin

Cabal is Kaduna mafia reformed. Under military they were cloaked as mafia, under civilian they are called cabal. They serve same purpose GAC does in Lagos, a go-between crossing, or bridge between statutory govt and a non-statutory lobbyists.

You are correct with your analogy.

@the bolded, the North did not turn away from Tinubu, it is just some groups within the cabal trying to also play their own game which is fine. In politics, that is expected.

Obasanjo did same thing, nearly all governors try to do same thing every election cycle, it’s normal.

But one thing is very different about this scenario. Even if the cabals don’t want Asiwaju and want to play consensus game, then APC only have one optimal solution to this, give the ticket to Osinbajo if the said cabals are afraid of Asiwaju influence as president. Failure to do this, APC is bye bye.

Everybody is planning for after-Buhari, it is now left for the players to protect their political future or forfeit all just because of some few cabals.

Time will tell, let’s wait till the primaries.
If I tell you that what we call cabal are actually proxies for Emirs and Clerics in North, will it shock you? grin

Let me put this in way it will be clear. In Lagos we have GAC. What are they? Nothing but proxies for the Elders of Lagos.

Same thing cabal is for North. They are not as powerful as they once were under military. Back then they were known as Kaduna Mafia. They were the ears and eyes of traditional rulers and sheikhs in North who did not have statutory powers in govt administration. Through Kaduna Mafia, Northern sons are given prime posts and advancement through ranks. They are sent on courses. Quota in NDA admmission is peioritized for them. Permanent aSecretary positions is tailored to their plan. They direct wherw to put Southerners and where to put Northerners.

Same has happened under Buhari through cabals. Remember Buhari also belonged in Kaduna mafia.

So I say all this to clarify who cabal is.

Now, why is cabal against Tinubu?

Your Excellency, I'm going to reveal to you today what no one has yet said. I told someone last week on a post, political strategists do not forecast wins based on vote counts. Infact, they don't care about vote counts. Their job is to take a underdog and make him defeat the best candidate on ballot. They accomplish this by studying strengths & weaknesses of the leading candidate. They are aware their client is not popular but they are dogged about giving him victory. So they tag onto the weakness of the most favored candidate and ruin him publicly.

Let me say it in a different way. Political strategists earn money and credits by destroying their clients' political opponents.

You are aware that Tinubu is a political strategist. Correct?

Tinubu is so damn good at strategising and forecasting victories that he forgot to cover his own weaknesses along the way.

You have to beg me to tell you why North turned away from Tinubu and now consider him a risk. grin

They are not smarter, no. They are more daring and undeterred about any consequence.

Let me put it a different way, South is cautious about misbehaving because we see North as our consequence. So we don't rock the boat. North is careless and readily misbehaves because it does not view South as a consequence or show stopper, so they rock the boat how they want and when they want. It is a dare, not a smart!
Politics › Re: What President Jonathan Discussed With APC Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu by MetaPhysical: 6:22pm On May 10, 2022
He said: “Remember the almajari community, he brought a comprehensive policy of reformation and intergretion of the almajari into the mainstream educational system in Nigeria. It was the dream and the vision of President Goodluck Jonathan that if that programme had continued, it would one day produce from the almajiri system of education; doctors, engineers.
Almajiri cannot be brought into mainstream. If you do that where would you put a 12yr old almajiri with zero formal education? Is it joing to primary 1 or Jss1?

Almajiri need to be erased and we fund a single uniform formal education system.

If Jonathan will run on a campaign to integrate almajiri into mainstream education it means he is planning on two education systems, one of which is an education system appended to Sharia. Sections of Nigerians, Christians and Traditionalists, will be excluded from attendance or qualification for funding whereas formal education will be left open for all and starved of funding. That will be unacceptable.

Jonathan supporters should think ahead and look throroughly into what will become Jonathan's campaign. We dont want to hear Yoruba hate Jonathan o.

A Almajiri education system is unacceptable. All those looking for education in Nigeria must attend formal school under a single system.

Osinbajo will be a good candidate if he was running for election in US or Europe, amongst his peers.

APC is bound to pair him with a pro-sharia and more likely an ex military, or prince from North. One that would dominate over him in all aspects, and in every respect a non-peer.

Baba Ahmed once said in both positions of President and VP, destiny of Nigeria is still under Arewa.

His claim will come true if Osinbajo is President.
