[3:19] "Truly, Islam is the only Din (Religion) in Allah’s sight. And the People of the Book disagreed, after knowledge had come to them, only on account of their mutual jealousy and contention. And he who denies Allah’s revelations, then surely Allah hastens in calling to account." [3:20] "(O Beloved!) If they, even then, dispute with you, say to them: ‘I have bowed my humble face in absolute submissiveness before the presence of Allah and so have those who follow me.’ And say to the People of the Book as well as the illiterate ones: ‘Do you also bow before Allah absolutely (i.e., do you accept Islam)?’ And, if they embrace submission, then they have truly achieved guidance. But if they turn away, your responsibility is only to deliver the command. And Allah is Watchful of His servants." |

1StopRudeness:I wouldn't have bothered about your response either, if you had not drag Islam and Muslims into a question about Christianity and it beliefs. I have said it before, if Muslims do all those, you wouldn't be here typing it. You are a beneficiary of Islam and muslims' Tolerance. |
MaxInDHouse:Thank you sir. @1stoprudeness, this is what you should have done even if the Op is a Muslim as you claimed. I think you seems to understand logic and Islam than you understand Christianity. Unfortunate! |
1StopRudeness:To speak despicably about Islam and Muslims on Nairaland and still keep them as friends around you makes you a HYPOCRITE! If only Your Muslim friends Know. Hypocrites are worse than enemies. I missed the part where Op said he is a Muslim. |

[quote author=1StopRudeness post=94661138]so of all the problem in Nigeria, this is the one that’s bothering you since 18.... Don’t let this things bother u, all religion is faith-based... it might not sound logical but it’s what it is....if u are an atheist I understand you position.. but if u are another religion, u don’t have point.. The Muslims belive it’s fine to stone and behead people for Allah and one of their prophets.. that it will give them access to heaven and plenty virgins ..why? they say the Quran/Hadith said so......and they will follow it to the end...is that logical...?? No... but people belive it anyways.. The Bible calls Jesus God, it also calls him the son of God....that’s what Christians also belive to the end....is it logical...of course not...that’s why all religion is based on faith...... Faith is admitting u don’t understand it all...but u belive all the same.. Your obsession about Islam will consume you eventually. How does this answered his question in the light of the bible and the Christian beliefs? |
ANTIlSLAM:If agents of Allah are forcing people to Islam, you wont be here posting trash about Islam, everyday. The tolerance of Islam is what you abuse daily. |

Islam As Religion Of Peace In The Light Of Quran! Amidst the stereotyping that we observe existing in the world at large, there is always a need for the Muslim communities to keep working hard towards eradicating such mindset and bigotry. There are such impactful efforts (big or small) being made by Muslims. They are individuals and in groups who have been contributing their share, in fact, more than their share in spreading awareness about Islam. These practicing good-example of Muslims are showing and proving it to the non-Muslims around them what Islam really teaches us; it is the lesson of peace and harmony. Yes, we hear this statement as the only reply when accused of terrorism, barbarism and all sorts of wickedness. Why the same reply about peace? because it is exactly what the religion is about. The word ‘Islam’ itself is derived from its Arabic root word ‘Salam’ which means ‘peace’. These accusations that an average Muslim or Muslims all-together have to face are baseless and untrue. Why So Much Hate and Hate-Crimes Against Muslims? Why must a few, a FEW lunatics that carry out mindless acts have to represent a population of nearly 1.8 billion Muslims? And why does the good work that is carried out by the countless majority of Muslims is never promoted, appreciated and accepted? There is definitely a strong prejudice against the religion and its followers. But what is saddening, is that people who carry such hate within them, do not take the time or make the effort to check the authenticity of the fake news that they hear; the propaganda that they so willingly become a part of. It is as if they choose to stay blindfolded by their media, their governments and sometimes, their own religious preachers. We Aren’t The Bad Guys, Neither Is Our Religion – Have A Look We Muslims have always been peaceful, kind, caring and charitable. Our religion instills some of the best qualities a human should possess. They include tolerance, patience, and resilience in the face of adversity. Our Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) was sent to us as the perfect example of what a human being and a Muslim should be like. If every person just tries to keep their anti-Muslim bias aside and with an open mind read the biography of our beloved Prophet (P.B.U.H), they will understand what Islam truly stands for. The book of Allah, Qur’an Al-Kareem, which the entire Muslim population follows; There have been numerous occasions where Allah(SWT) speaks of peace. Our God orders us and teaches us about the very aspect which we are accused against of, that is, being hostile. Here are the Quran verses about peace. DO NOT INSULT OTHER RELIGIONS AND THEIR GODS “And insult not those whom they (disbelievers) worship besides Allah, lest they insult Allah wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We have made fair-seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall then inform them of all that they used to do.” (Surah Al-An’am, 108) Allah(SWT) strictly prohibited the Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) and the followers of Islam to insult any other religion, the different gods and deities they follow. As a disrespect towards another only comes back to you and in this case the lord Muslims bow to. Whereas, in the current state of the world, all sorts of insults are hurled towards Islam, Allah(SWT) and our beloved Prophet. COMPETE WITH EACH OTHER IN DOING GOOD “We have appointed a law and a practice for every one of you. Had God willed, He would have made you a single community, but He wanted to test you regarding what has come to you. So compete with each other in doing good. Every one of you will return to God and He will inform you regarding the things about which you differed.” (Surat al-Ma’ida, 48) What more proof does Islamophobic people require then this direct order mentioned in the Quran from the most high and mighty, given to the Muslims. It states that Allah made humans in different communities that follow different religion to test us. The Almighty tells us Muslims to accept other religions and their communities with an open heart and compassion; to only compete with them in goodness. DO NOT START FIGHTS AND WAR UNNECESSARILY “You may fight in the cause of GOD against those who attack you but do not aggress. GOD does not love the aggressors.” (al-Baqarah, 190) In Islam, fighting in the light of the above verse, is only permitted as an act of self-defense. Muslims are prohibited from any kind of oppression and aggression. Throughout the Quran, we have verses condemning violence and war. If it is to happen, then Islam teaches proper conduct with which Muslims should abide by during wars. Consider another verse for better understanding And they give food, inspite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to Miskin (poor), the orphan, and the captive, (Saying): “We feed you seeking Allah’s Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you.” (Surat Al-Insan, 8-9) The God that teaches the Muslims to distribute food among the needy, the wretched, the orphans and the captives of war doesn’t promote violence and aggression. When in fact, in the Quran He clearly mentions his dislike towards violence and people who indulge in such cruelty against humanity. In fact, He has asked to give food with the intention of doing so for Me (Allah the Almighty) and wish nothing in return, not even a thank you. Such selflessness is the teaching of Islam. On the other hand, our beloved Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) has guided the Muslim Ummah on war ethics. What is permissible and what should a Muslim refrain from during the war. NO COMPULSIONS IN ISLAM “There shall be no compulsion in religion: the right way is now distinct from the wrong way. Anyone who denounces the devil and believes in GOD has grasped the strongest bond; one that never breaks. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient.”(Surah Al-Baqarah, 256) The religion of peace gives every human being the right to be, to exist on their own term. Yes, a true believer would put themselves in line with the teachings of the Prophet and the commands of Allah(SWT). But in case if they choose to divert from the Islamic route, there is no restriction or punishment at the hands of another human. Allah has given everyone a free soul that will be held accountable on the day of judgment. Allah also has not given another Muslim the power or the right to punish them for not believing. Instead, Muslims are asked to show kindness, love, and compassion towards the non-believers. Instead advised to simply invite others to the religion of peace. Our Prophet Muhammad(SAW) inspired non-Muslims with his beautiful personality and this is the best way. “You shall invite to the path of your Lord with wisdom and kind enlightenment, and debate with them in the best possible manner. Your Lord knows best who has strayed from His path, and He knows best who are the guided ones.” (Surah An-Nahl, 256). Edited. May Allah make this beneficial to us. |
VICES: UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR OR IMMORALITY A Muslim as a first priority should strive to cleanse his (spiritual) heart because heart is the leader of the body and all organs are under its command. Our Prophet Muhammad SAW once said: “There is a piece of flesh in the human body. If this is good, all the organs will be good. If this is evil, all the organs will be evil. This piece of flesh is the heart.” What is described in this hadîth is not the physical heart but the spiritual heart which is located in the physical heart. The goodness of the flesh, as explained above, means its being cleansed from vices and its assimilation of good morals (virtues). The physical appearance of a human being is called (khalq). The power or state that exists in the heart is called habits (khulq). Vices in the heart are called “maladies of the heart” or unacceptable moral s (akhlâq al-zamîma). Their cure is a very difficult task. Correct treatment requires extremely sophisticated knowledge about the maladies and correct methodology to apply this knowledge. Habits are the faculties (malakas) or states or desires in the heart. It is this power in the spiritual heart which generates man’s belief, words, actions. His optional behaviour which is also the work of (this power which is called his) khulq. Changing or transforming the state of the heart from undesirable, unwanted, unacceptable morals or habits to desirable, good habits is possible. Our Prophet SAW once said, “Improve your morals (habits or character).” Islam does not contain commandments that cannot be accomplished. Experiences also show that this is the case. [Experience is only one of the three true-knowledge-acquirement methods. The other two true-knowledge-acquirement-methods are understanding through calculation and information passed to us by our Prophet. ] Human beings do not share equal abilities to correct their unacceptable, deficient morals. Origin or source or fountain of morals is three powers inherent in the human soul . The first one is the power of understanding (comprehension) of the soul . This is also called “nutq” or wisdom (’aql). The first and second powers of “nutq” are theoretical knowledge (hikmat al-nazarî) and practical knowledge (hikmat al-’amalî) respectively. Theoretical knowledge which exists in average proportions is called reason (hikmat). Reason is the power that differentiates between virtue and vice; right and wrong; and good and evil . A state of excess in this power is termed jarbaza (the state of being a wiseacre). A person who suffers from this excess tries to understand things beyond comprehension. For example, he tries to interpret verses of the Qur’ân with hidden or metaphorical meanings (mutashâbîh âyats) or talks about fate and destiny or occupies himself with futile pursuits such as deceit, trickery, and sorcery. Conversely, inadequacy of this power is termed idiocy (balâdat). A person suffering from this inadequacy cannot differentiate between vice and virtue. When the practical power of nutq (wisdom) exists in an average intensity, this state is called justice (’adâlat). There cannot be paucity or plentitude in justice. The second power of the sources of morals is wrath (ghadab). It is the bestial aspect of the soul . Things which it dislikes and loathes stir its blood. When this force is subdued to a reasonable intensity by the human aspect of the soul , it develops into bravery (shajâ’at), which prompts man to practical and useful enterprises. Examples of this are Muslims’ fighting against disbelievers whose numbers are more than double theirs and their saving the oppressed from their oppressors. An excess in this force is tahawwur, which causes aggressiveness. A person with this temperament becomes angry fast. If this power exists in less than average proportions, it is called cowardice (jubn). A person having this character will not be able to attempt to do the necessary actions. The third power of the human soul is appetite (shahwat). It is the bestial soul’s desiring the things that it likes. The human aspect of the soul mollifies this desire into what we call chastity (iffat), or honor. A person who has chastity gratifies the needs of his nature in a manner prescribed by Islam and compatible with humanity. Excess in this is called greed or debauchery (sharah). A person having this character tries to obtain all his desires and wishes without regard to laws or others’ rights. When appetite is less than average proportions in one’s nature, it causes a lazy character (humûd). A person with this character will not even try to get things that are necessary for himself either because of his extreme sense of shame, fear or pride, or because of his (psychological ) illness. The aforesaid four temperate forces, i. e. hikmat (reason), ’adâl at (justice), iffat (chastity), and shajâ’at (bravery), are the essence of all virtues. When a person adapts himself to hikmat, which is one of the three forces of the soul , he overcomes the other two forces of the bestial soul , i. e. , gradable and shahwat, and attains happiness by developing these two excesses into iffat (chastity) and shajâ’at (bravery). If the theoretical force of wisdom fails to abide by hikmat, which is its temperate degree, and overflows unto either one of the vicious extremities, vices will appear. All six extremities are always evil . In fact, even the four temperate forces are evil when they are employed for evil purposes. Examples of employing hikmat for evil purposes are: to go into a religious career for the purpose of an easy competence or a high position, and to perform (the daily prayers termed) namâz or (the struggle for the promulgation and propagation of Islam, which should be done only to pl ease Allâhu ta’âl â and which is termed) jihâd for ostentation. On the other hand, abstention from a certain kind of pleasure in order to gratify one’s desire to enjoy another kind of pleasure would be a good example of misusing iffat. Each of the four main virtues is recognized by their attributes. For example, wisdom has seven attributes. Bravery and chastity have eleven attributes each. Ethics of Islam |
Things that harm men in this world and in the next are due to vices. The essence of man’s spiritual loss is his having vices. Man’s avoidance of vices is called taqwâ. Tawa is the most precious of all worships. Decorating something requires that the thing first should be cleansed from all dirt and stain. Similarly, neither any reward (thawâb) will be given nor any benefit will occur for the worships unless the man who does those worships cleanses himself from the sin. The worst of all vices is disbelief (kufr). The good deeds of a person who does not have belief will not bear any fruit for him in the Hereafter. [A disbeliever who is killed unjustly does not become a martyr and will not go to Paradise. ] The foundation of all virtues is taqwâ. One should try hard to obtain taqwâ and advise others to do the same. Living in this world peacefully with others and obtaining the best of eternal blessings could only be accomplished by having taqwâ. Vices cause disease in the heart or soul . Any increase in this disease will cause the death of the soul, i.e. it will cause life. Disbelief (shirk), which is the worst of all vices, is a fatal poison of the soul . Some people who do not have belief claim: “My heart (spiritual ) is clean. You should look at my heart. ” Their claim is no more than empty words. A dead heart cannot be cleaned. There are many types of disbelief. The worst of all is polytheism. Any variety of a certain vice is mostly specified with its most outstanding characteristic. For that matter, the word shirk used in âyat-i-kerîmas and in (our blessed Prophet’s utterances termed) hadîth-i-sherîfs represents all sorts of kufr (disbelief). Allâhu ta’âl â, in the Qur’ân states that: [4:48] "Surely, Allah does not forgive setting up of partners with Him, and He forgives (any other sin) lesser in degree for whom He wills. And whoever sets up partners with Allah certainly fabricates a horrible sin." [4:116] "Assuredly, Allah does not forgive (the sin of) setting up any partner with Him, but He forgives any (sin) lesser than that whom He wills. And the one who associates anything with Allah as His partner has surely strayed far off." He will never forgive the polytheists (mushriks). These verses point out that disbelievers will burn forever in the Hell fire. [“Shirk” means to attribute partners to Allâhu ta’âl â. A person who does the attributing is called a pol ytheist and the thing which is attributed is called partner (sharîk). To believe that someone possesses one of the attributes of Divinity means to make him a partner (sharîk). The attributes possessed exclusively by Allahu ta’âl â are called “Attributes of Divinity.” Some Divine Attributes are the following: Existing eternally, creating, all - knowing, and healing the sick. To believe that a human being or the sun or a cow or any other creature possesses a divine attribute, and thus to respect or beg that being or creature, is called to worship them. Those things become an idol . To say words that mean deification of such people or to speak respectfully before statues, pictures or graves of disbelievers assumed to be possessing divine attributes means to worship them and therefore it is polytheism. If one believes that a person does not possess a divine attribute but instead he is a person loved by Allâhu ta’âl â or alternately if one believes that that person has served his nation much and therefore deserves respect, paying respect to his statues or pictures is not disbelief or pol ytheism. Nevertheless, since paying respect to any person’s picture is forbidden (harâm), anyone doing so becomes a sinner (fâsiq). If he slights the fact that it is forbidden, he will become an apostate (murtad), and so will those who flout a prohibited action (harâm). Since those Jews and Christians who are not “mushriks” do not believe in the prophethood of Muhammad ‘ al aihis-sal am’, they are disbelievers. They are called “Disbelievers with a heavenly book." Presently, most Christians are polytheists because they attribute divinity to prophet “Îsâ”, that is, Jesus ‘ al aihis-sal am’. Christians belonging to the sects of Barnabas and Arius (Arians) were among the People of the Book. However, they have not survived to the present time. The second worst disease of the soul after shirk is to hold and practise (heretical beliefs which are called) bid’at, which is followed by looseness in abstaining from sins, in the order of evil . A person who dies without making tawba for venial or grave sins other than disbelief may be forgiven by Allâhu ta’âl â either through intercession (shafâ’at) or directly by His Mercy. If a venial sin is not forgiven then there will be punishment in Hell. Sins that involve violating rights of other human beings will not be forgiven easily. Most l ikely, people who commit them will be punished more severely. For example, not giving wife’s due money (mahr) regarding the marriage contract or prohibiting human beings from learning their correct religion, which is their right (haqq), is the gravest gross violation of human rights. Rasûlullah ‘ SAW stated as follows: “A time will come when people will not care whether they earn the money by permissible (halâl) means or not,” and “A time will come when practicing Islam will be as difficult as holding a fire ball with bare hands.” Therefore, to avoid committing all prohibited actions (harâms) and those actions that are called makrûh tahrîmî (because they are quite close to harâms) is (taqwâ). Not to perform obligatory duties (fards) and strongly recommended actions (wâjibs) is forbidden (harâm). According to some information, not peforming “muakkad Sunnats,” i. e., acts of worship which our blessed Prophet practised regularly, without an excuse, is strongly disliked (makrûh tahrîmî). People who do not carry out commandments of Islam with respect to belief (i’tiqâd), ethics (akhlâq), and deeds (’amal) will be punished. Logically, one must avoid doing things that will cause punishment. For example, not performing five daily “salâts” and women’s and girls’ not covering themselves is a grave sin. It would be a strong requirement for one to abstain from the grave sin by performing the five daily “salâts. ” Nevertheless, we will not deal with the subject matter regarding the things that must not be omitted; instead, we will communicate the things that should be avoided, i. e. , prohibited actions and vices. The things we should not do (prohibited actions) are committed either with a particular organ or with the entire body. The following eight organs are very well known for committing sins: spiritual heart, ears, eyes, tongue, hands, stomach, sexual organs, and feet. The spiritual heart (qalb) is a spiritual grace blown upon the material heart of human beings. It is incorporeal , not made of matter, like the soul . These organs themselves do not commit the sin. The sensing power of these organs commits the sin. Anyone who wants to attain happiness in this world and the next must prevent these organs from committing sins. The spiritual heart has to be developed into a state wherein not committing sins will be its natural habit (mal aka). Anyone who can achieve this state is called Allah-fearing (muttaqî) or pious (sâlih) person. He has now attained Allâhu ta’âl â’s love and approval and become Wali to Him. It would also be piety [taqwâ] to avoid sins by exerting yourself without its becoming the heart’s natural habit. Yet being a Walî requires its being a natural habit not to commit sins, which in turn requires purifying the heart. And to purify the heart requires obedience to the rules of Islam. Islam consists of three parts: knowledge (’ilm), practice (’amal), and sincerity (I Kohlas). (1) To learn the knowledge, teaching the commandments, i. e. , Fards, Wâjibs, Sunnats, and forbidden actions (harâms and makrûhs), (2) To practise them in accordance with this knowledge, and (3) To do them only for the sake of Allâhu ta’âl â. The Qur’ân al -kerîm commands and praises all these three parts. |
Realismailakabir:Thank you. May Allah make it easy for us. |
ANTIlSLAM:No. Neither is it Haram for me to post here. |
OUR ÎMÂN and NAMÂZ (FAITH and PRAYER) For all, Îmân is foremost Allahu ta’âlâ wants people to live in comfort and peace in the world and to attain endless happiness in the Hereafter. It is for this reason that He has commanded useful things that cause happiness and forbidden harmful things which cause calamity. The first commandment of Allahu ta’âlâ is to have îmân (faith). Having îmân is a must for all people. It is obligatory for everyone. Literally îmân means to know a person to be perfect and truthful and to have faith in him. In Islam, îmân means to believe the fact that Rasûlullah (sall-Allâhu ta’âlâ ’alaihi wa sallam) is Allahu ta’âlâ’s Prophet; that he is (Nabî), the Messenger chosen by Him, and to say this with the heart; and to believe in brief what he transmitted briefly and to believe in detail what he transmitted in detail from Allahu ta’âlâ; and to say (the Kalimat ash-shahâda) whenever possible. Strong îmân is such that, as we know for certain that fire burns, serpents kill by poisoning and we avoid them, we should deem Allahu ta’âlâ and His attributes great, be fully certain of this by heart, strive for his consent (ridâ’) and run to His beauty (jamâl), and beware of His wrath (ghadab) and torture (jalâl). We should firmly inscribe this îmân on the heart like an inscription on marble. Îmân means to love everything which Muhammad ’alaihis-salâm said and to approve, that is to believe, them by heart. Those people who believe in this manner are called Mu’min or Muslim. Each and every Muslim must follow Muhammad ’alaihis-salâm. They must walk in the path he guided. His path is the path shown by the Qur’ân al-karîm. This path is called Islam. To follow him, firstly, it is necessary to have îmân, then, to learn the rules of Islam, then, to perform the fards (commandments) and to abstain from harâms (forbidden things or acts), then to do sunnats and to abstain from makrûhs. After all these, we should try to adapt ourselves to him in mubâhs also. The basis of our religion is îmân. Allahu ta’âlâ neither loves nor accepts any worship or any good deeds of those who do not have îmân. Any person who wants to be a Muslim must have îmân first. Then, he must learn ghusl, ablution, namâz and other fards and harâms whenever it is necessary. Faith Must Be Correct The information grasped by sense organs and mind are helpful to attain îmân. Scientific knowledge helps one understand and know that the orderliness, the regularity of the universe is not accidental and there is one creator. Thus it helps one attain îmân. Îmân means to learn the knowledge brought by the last prophet Hadrat Muhammad ’alaihis-salâm from Allahu ta’âlâ and to believe them. It is to disbelieve in the Prophets if one says, “I will believe them on the condition that they are in accordance with the mind.” The religious knowledge are not the findings of the possessors of reason. What our Prophet Hadrat Muhammad ’alaihis-salâm communicated must be learned from the books of the Ahl as- Sunnat scholars and they must be believed accordingly. To have a correct and acceptable belief, it is necessary to abide by the below mentioned conditions as well: 1- Îmân must be continuous and steadfast. We must not intend to abandon it even for a moment. Anyone who desires to become a disbeliever three years later becomes a disbeliever as soon as one wishes that. 2- The faith of the believer must be between hawf (fear) and rajâ (hope). We must fear the torment of Allahu ta’âlâ, however, we must not give up hope of His rahmat (Allah’s Mercy). We must beware of each and every sin; we must fear that we might lose our îmân due to our sins. Even if one has committed every sinful deed, one must not be destitute of hope of being forgiven by Allahu ta’âlâ. We must repent of our sins. For, those who repent of sins are like as if they never committed them. 3- One must have faith before his soul reaches the throat (during his death). When the soul reaches the throat, one is shown all the events of the Hereafter. At that time, every disbeliever wants to have the faith. However, îmân must be in the unseen. It is necessary to believe before seeing it. After you have seen it, it is not îmân any more. However, the repentance of the believers is acceptable at that moment. 4- One must have îmân before the sun rises in the west. One of the major symptoms of Doomsday is that the sun rises in the west. All people who see this will believe. However, their îmân will not be accepted. The gate of repentance will have been closed then. 5- One must believe that no one except Allahu ta’âlâ knows the ghayb, the hidden things. That is, only Allahu ta’âlâ knows the ghayb. Those who are informed by Him of the hidden things know them as well. Angels, genies, devils, even Prophets cannot know the ghayb. However, if Allah informs His prophets or His dear slaves, then they also know it. 6- One must not deny, without having been forced or doing so deliberately, any rule of the religion pertaining to the belief or the worships. It is disbelief to slight the Ahkâm-i islâmiyya, that is, one of the commands or the prohibitions of Islam, to make mockery of the Qur’ân al-karîm, angels or one of the Prophets, or to deny - without having been forced - anything communicated by them. He who verbally denies the existence of Allahu ta’âlâ, angels, the fard, quality of ghusl or namâz, due to a strong necessity such as being threatened with murder, does not become a disbeliever. 7- One must not doubt or hesitate about the indispensable knowledge openly communicated by the Islamic religion. It causes disbelief if one doubts whether namâz is fard, or whether drinking wine and other alcoholic beverages, gambling, interest (ribâ’), bribery are harâm (forbidden). To say harâm about a well known halâl or to say halâl about a well known harâm causes disbelief. 8- Îmân must be in accordance with what Islam communicated (The faith must be based on Islam). To believe in the things understood by mind, or to believe the religion according to statements of philosophers or false scientists is not îmân. One must believe in the manner communicated by Muhammad ’alaihis-salâm. 9- Those who have faith must love only for the sake of Allahu ta’âlâ and they must feel enmity only for the sake of Allahu ta’âlâ. It is necessary to love Muslims who are loved by Allahu ta’âlâ and to dislike people who commit animosities toward Islam by hand or by pen. This enmity must take place in the heart. [We must treat non-Muslim citizens or foreigners with a smiling face and gentle words. With our beautiful ethics, we must make them love our religion.] 10- It is necessary to believe in the manner which true Muslims who do not leave the right path shown by our Prophet ’alaihis-salâm and his Companions. To have a correct belief, one must believe according to the tenets of the creed of Ahl as-Sunnat wal-jamâ’at. [A person who adheres to the true religious books written by the scholars of Ahl as-Sunnat will attain thawâb (blessings, rewards in the Hereafter) equal to the total sum of the thawâb that will be given to a hundred people who have attained martyrdom. The scholars affiliated in any one of the four Madhhabs of Muslims are (scholars of Ahl as-Sunnat). Imâm a’zam Abû Hanîfa is the leader of the scholars of Ahl as-Sunnat. Rasûlullah ’alaihis-salâm stated to his Sahâba the facts which Allahu ta’âlâ dictated to him. And the Sahâba, in their turn, conveyed those facts to their disciples (the scholars of Ahl as-Sunnat), who in their turn wrote them in their books.] May Allah strengthen our Iman. AbdulSleeky:1. Emphatic Yes! Muslims have proven that they are better than Christians and their brothers Atheists, in Character and morals. Despite having a safe space, we are still not safe from your persecutions. Most of you still come in to drop your "trash." You don't allow us to do our thing in our space. Who is intolerant? I have followed conversations on this perceived threat claim by the "tag team." Muslims have always asked for your proof that the Admin. was threatened. None has been able, maybe you can help with a proof of the threat. 2. a. No for religious reasons. b. No. For the love of Allah and Rosul. Since you aren't a Muslim you won't understand how it feels loving Allah and Rosul. It can only be better experienced. Can you watch and enjoy your parents being mocked at in the name of free speech? 3. I knew it! I made you open up. Good you are glad. Well, i am a Muslim and Allah said this about us: [3:110] "You are the best community brought forth for (the guidance of) mankind: you enjoin righteousness, forbid evil and believe in Allah... I think i go with what Allah SWT said about Muslims. You are free to phantom whatever you can. |
AbdulSleeky:Have breeds more hate. Muslims on this platform have miles ahead, avoid hate than the Christians and Atheists. The hatred that non - Muslims pour on Islam on a daily bases here is alarming! But for the tranquility Allah favoured us with. We don't treat non - Muslims like animals, i can also speak for Motayoayinde on this. I have Christian friends and neighbours. It is Christians and Atheists that are treating everything Islam with disdain. If Someone is held by the law and you feel any injustice about it, you can challenge the law. But, calling Islam and Muslims out on an issue most Muslims are not even aware of, is itself hating and provocative. Just seeking an avenue to gloat about Islam as a routine. More so, everything you said about Mubarak is "one side of the coin." I asked you about the "Shia" Muslims. I didn't get a response. Maybe, because they are Muslims. They deserved to die! |

SHIRK (Associating Others With Allah SWT) The greatest of all major sins in Islam is Associating Partners with Allah (SWT). Shirk is of two kinds: 1. To make someone equal to Allah or to worship something or someone else, such as stone, tree, the sun, the moon, a prophet, a saint etc. This is surely the greatest Shirk. Allah (SWT) says: [4:48] "Surely, Allah does not forgive setting up of partners with Him, and He forgives (any other sin) lesser in degree for whom He wills. And whoever sets up partners with Allah certainly fabricates a horrible sin." [31:13] "And (recall) when Luqman said to his son as he was advising him: ‘O my son, do not set up partners with Allah. Verily, associating partners with Allah is a very grave injustice.’" [5:75] "The Messiah, the son of Maryam (Mary), is (nothing) but a Messenger (neither a god nor a son of God nor His partner). Many Messengers have indeed preceded him, and his mother was a paragon of truth (a saintly person). Both (were mortal creatures as they) used to eat food. (O Beloved!) Observe how clearly We explain the Revelations for their (guidance), but again observe how (in spite of that) they are turning away (from the truth)!" There are numerous verses in the Qur'an warning against associating others with Allah (SWT). Hence, if one ascribes partners to Allah and dies a polytheist, he will definitely be an inhabitant of the fire. Allah's Messenger (SAW) asked his companions: Shall i not inform you about the three greatest sins? They said: Yes, Messenger of Allah. Then he said: Associating others with Allah and disobedience to parents... And deliberate perjury and giving false evidence... 2. Hypocrisy in one's deeds. Allah (SWT) says: [18:110] " ...So, whoever hopes to meet his Lord should do good deeds, and must not associate any partner in the worship of his Lord.’" The meaning is that one should not act for the sake of ostentation but should sincerely act for the sake of Allah alone. Allah's Messenger (SAW) said: I warn you against the lesser polytheism. His companions asked him: And what is the lesser polytheism, Messenger of Allah? He replied: It is showing off. On the Day when Allah will reward people for their deeds, he will say to them: Go to those to whom you showed off your deeds on earth for praise and see if they will reward you. Allah's Messenger (SAW) again said: There might be one who fasts and gained nothing of his fasting but hunger and thirst, and there might be one who prays to God all night and gains nothing of his prayers but wakefulness. Allah SWT says: [25:23] "And (then) We shall turn to the deeds they (presumably) did (in life) and shall make them scattered dust particles." This means that the deeds they had done for the sake of anything or anyone other than Allah will receive no reward and will be exactly like the scattered dust that can be seen floating with the beams of sunlight. Allah's Messenger (SAW) was reported to have said: On the Day of Judgement, groups Therefore ate to be led towards the Garden till they get too close to it, smell it fragrance, look at its palaces and at what God has prepared for its inhabitants. Then a call will be made to turn them away from it, since they have no portion in it, and they will turn away with so great sorrow and regret that neither those before them nor those after them ever turned away with. They will say: Our Lord! If you had admitted us to the fire before showing us what we have seen of the reward you have prepared for your followers, it would have been easier for us. Then Allah SWT will say: That is Exactly what I intend for you. You used to commit great sins against My will in privacy, but when you were among people you were humble toward them, showing them your good deeds, quite opposite to what you gave to Me in your hearts. You feared people and did not fear Me. You venerated people and did not venerate Me. Your renunciation was for people but not for Me. Therefore, today I make you taste My grievous punishment besides withholding, My abundant reward from you. A man asked Allah's Messenger SAW: What is salvation? He replied: Do not decieve Allah. The man asked: How can one deceive Allah? The Prophet replied: Through doing a deed bidden by Allah and His Messenger, but intended for the sake of someone other than Allah SWT. Guard yourself against showing off, because that is a form of lesser polytheism. On the Day of Judgement, the hypocrite will be called, above the heads of people, by four names: Hypocrite! Deceitful One! Faithless One! Loser! Your deeds are wasted, and your reward is cancelled. Since we do not have any reward for you, go and collect your reward from the one for whose sake you did your deeds, impostor. Al- Fudail bin Ayyad said: To refrain from doing something for the sake of people is hypocrisy and to do something for their approval is polytheism, whereas sincerity lies in God's protection against both. O Allah! Protect us from these two and forgive us! SOURCE: KITABUL KABA'IR. |

AbdulSleeky:Islam is dying in Saudi Arabia? Well, unfortunately for you, you won't live long enough to celebrate the death of Islam in Saudi Arabia. I advise you start the killing of Islam from here, in Nigeria, at home. But, you need to be more than a KEYBOARD GENERAL to achieve it. Have you heard about the Islamic Movement Of Nigeria, popularly known as SHIA. They have been on the streets of major cities and towns including Abuja for about 4yrs now, protesting for the release of their leaders and seeking redress for the injustice meted on them. I strongly doubt if they will accept being called Christians or Atheists. They are Muslims! Have you ever joined them in field protest? I think the north should worry about the "shithole" |
