n3xt: Yes! I think Naija welders are doing great. On the flipside, it’s very hard to get a reliable carpenter/woodworkers in Nigeria.
I always give my welders and carpenters ample time and all the needed resource/support to deliver a very good job. Though at extra cost

Once the project is finalized, I’d get in touch.

mufutau55: Wow! Simple lovely gate. I love the simplicity of it.
Hajji M. seriously it is very simple and beautiful. Just use strong materials like 2.5mm pan and 3mm angle iron and you have yourself a very durable gate. It's funny how beautiful things aren't too complicated |

micgray100: I am also interested in this door.. I will be needing 10units in a project at ogijo shagamu.
Oga spider, won't mind if you can explain in details the following about the door..
- it durability to be used for internal doors like rooms and toilets
-Available sizes it comes.... 6inches, 9inches, 3feets, 21/2 feets doors
-Sound / noice when opening or closing
-price as I have explained always, these doors can be used for interior and exterior needs. About the toilet aspect, I will suggest that you use these aluminum doors cause of the water splashes (no steel can survive caustic soda from soap no matter how strong it is. Just give it time and the water will ruin it) The doors can be customized as to your needs from the size of the frames which can be 5",6" or more. The doors sizes can be customized too. About the locks, it's dealers choice but I always tell people to buy at least the quality on the door in review cause the cost of replacing the locks always offset the little savings you're trying to make. The price of the door is 20,000 and 30,000 for the 3ft and 4ft respectively. Kindly contact me with the attached detail

Good morning everyone. I do hope you're all safe even in the midst of this protests. I just want to say I saw your kind words and encouragements and I want to appreciate oga Gbadexy who paid for the door and Oga Spyder who took out time from his busy schedule to review it. I want to appreciate Oga Egunmogaji and N3xt who gave me the needed opportunity to explain my works. I believe such scrutiny is needed to be able to remove the chaffs from the corn especially in this climate of fraud that we live in. I still look forward to doing that job for you oga Egunmogaji. I will do a job most welders around you can't.
My special appreciation goes to you my best customer. Thanks and stay safe |

This is unprecedented. Never have Nigerians put their religious and tribal differences down to fight the common enemy. This protest here is a new lease on life. Some of us can now walk around and be proud to be a Nigerian.

Protest in Nigeria is a colossal waste of time. Everyone knows what needs to be done but none has the balls to sacrifice oneself for the goodness of all.
Until then, Sowore, NLC, TUC, etc can continue deceiving themselves. After the one day protest then what? / events of these days have shown otherwise |

Started working on this gate last week or thereabouts. Glad it's ready to go but it's not as easy as the photo makes it.
First photo is the skeleton
Second is while it was painted the first coat
Third photo is the when another paint was applied
Last photo is the final product.
But depending on your choice, the paint will be what color you desire.
Hope your week is as fruitful as mine

You mean that the government wants to borrow another $2.5bn in a country where everything has been borrowed and stolen by few.
So we haven't just overtaken India in poverty level but also number of people without access to electricity.
We're approximately 200ml people and 80ml are without electricity which represents about 40% of our population. The 120ml people also share majority of their day with darkness.
Who exactly did we offend as a people? |

n3xt: You’re very useful to this thread!
Everything is not about selling. We need to understand what’s happening in other locations to better appreciate our brothers and sisters who are making a big difference in our dearly beloved country.
There are 30m plots here even 500m+ but the vast majority of land on this side start from 200k at #200,000 eh,is there anything wrong with the land in terms of maybe water logging or accessibility. I don't know where you can get a land in or around Nnewi for that price. The expensive nature of lands in Nnewi have driven the cost of lands in neighboring towns. A decent land in ozubulu which is a border town starts from 5ml and forget about network in such areas. You are likely going to get a decent road or probably not. To build a house here is only by God's grace |

Badgers14: That's really estate for you.
Nnewi, Onitsha, Some parts of Awka are high price area in Anambra State.
It is just like buying a garage like house in San Francisco for $1.5m and buying a mansion for 400k - 600k in the Midwestern states.
A friend purchased a 4 bedroom bungalow in Onitsha for 25m to knock it down and build 4 decking.
Man pass man no be boasting
Real estate are generally pricey in the East than anywhere else in Nigeria.
I remember a post here a while back someone was saying they can't buy land of more than 500k.. I was thinking wow... that's interesting!! the funny thing about real estate here is that rent cheap when compared to what I hear people mention here. You can find a three bedroom apartment in a four storey building for 350-400 per annum. This is for a new building with borehole. You will have to source your own power but then you are connected to NEPA. That's why you can NEVER find a building of less than three storey with accompanying warehouse cause owners are trying their best to recoup their funds as soon as possible which usually runs to almost a decade |

This actually depends on the location. Will I do this in a place where land is sold N200k - N1,000,000? Probably not!
The cost of getting approvals too is not smiling. Approvals for single dwelling units will be far more than a multi-dwelling unit. please eh. Where are you people finding land for 1ml to 10ml? Here in Nnewi, a 50 by 60 plot of land goes for as high as 50ml depending on the location. For areas with geographical issues like erosion or maybe very bad roads, starting price is #10ml. My landlord son sold his inheritance land with no single structure apart from small farm of cassava and bitter leaf for #30ml. This was three months ago |
