One of the reasons Jerusalem is holy to Muslims is because apparently Muhammad went to Jerusalem and was taken up to heaven and met God and went back to Mecca. that was 500 years after Jesus, US and Israel have the power to claim Jerusalem and there is nothing Palestinians can do frankly. The arabs are busy fighting each other and have no time to face Israel even if they can. Israel is not interested in sharing with Palestines if they can have it all. Trump said it best "Facts on the Ground". Jerusalem belongs to Israel for as long as they can hold and defend it. It's kicking off with riots right now as we speak. Don't look good on the news. |
wesley80:The link to the history is at the top of the page ..... ...http://www.differentspirit.org/articles/temple_mount.php I only copied a bit ....the rest is there with some pictures |
History of Jerusalem .. The holy city http://www.differentspirit.org/articles/temple_mount.php ca 1940 BC God sent Abraham to the region of Moriah with instructions to sacrifice his son Isaac [Genesis 22:2]. ca 1010 BC Land on Mount Moriah was bought by King David for 50 shekels of silver from Araunah the Jebusite [2 Samuel 24:18-25]. ca 997-990 BCSolomons temple in JerusalemMount Moriah became the site of the First Temple This Temple was built by King Solomon. [1 Chronicles 21:18, 22:1, 2 Chronicles 3:1]. 586 BCThe First Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians under King Nebuchadnezzar. 539 BCCyrus the Medo-Persian conquered Babylon Cyrus issued a proclamation to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem [Ezra 1:1-3]. 520-515 BCThe Temple was rebuilt by Zerubbabel The Second Temple was a shadow of its former glory. 18 BCHerod the Great renovated the Second Temple. In total, this took 46 years [John 2:20]. The Second Temple A great retaining wall was built around the Temple Mount. This is the Temple that Jesus visited during His lifetime. 70 ADRomans removing Temple treasuresThe Second Temple was destroyed by the Romans during the First Jewish Revolt The Arch of Titus in Rome commemorates the Roman victory. This detail of the relief sculpture on the Arch records the Temple treasures being taken from Jerusalem. 132-135Second Jewish Revolt under Bar Kochba The Romans put down the revolt with great ferocity. 135The Romans subdued Israel The Temple Mount was ploughed with salt and Jews were banished from Jerusalem on pain of death. Jerusalem was renamed Aelia Capitolina and the land was renamed Syria Palestina (or Palestine, as it was known until 1948). This was done in a deliberate attempt to humiliate Israel by favouring their ancient enemies, the Philistines. The Arabic word for Philistine is Falastin, from which comes the English word for the Palestinians. 638Caliph Omar conquered Jerusalem Under Moslem rule Jews were permitted to return to the city, although very few did and they were greatly impoverished. 691The Dome of the RockMoslems built the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount The building was constructed on the site where the First and Second Temples of Israel had stood. The Al Aksa mosque was built on the southern end of the Temple Mount platform some 20 years later. Inscription inside the Dome of the Rock The Dome of the Rock has decorative inscriptions around its interior. One of these inscriptions makes the statement in Arabic: “Jesus Christ is not the Son of God.” Most Jews, and all Moslems believe that it is blasphemy to say that God has a Son. 1948The State of Israel was declared Britain had taken Jerusalem from the Ottoman Turks during World War I and had been granted a mandate to govern Palestine. The League of Nations voted to partition Palestine and Britain anounced that they would withdraw from the land. Israel, as a Jewish state, came in to being on 14 May 1948 [Isaiah 66:8]. The War of Independence followed. Arab armies invaded Israel but the Jews managed to hold West Jerusalem. East Jerusalem, the Old City and the Temple Mount were in the hands of Jordan at the end of the conflict. 1967Six Day War –Israel captured the Old City of Jerusalem Israel gained control of East Jerusalem and the Temple Mount when they forced Jordan to withdraw during the Six Day War. Israel was unwilling to risk international criticism and the government granted the Moslem Wakf administrative rights over the Temple Mount platform and mosques, but not over the remainder of the Old City of Jerusalem. The Temple Mount is lower than the surrounding hills God selected this site. It is not on a trade route to anywhere. It is not the highest mountain in the region. The area is not fertile. It would not be the natural choice for a major city and the meeting place with God. But, in the choice of this site, God was saying something to His people. He will protect and preserve. And, what seems insignificant now will be exalted in His timing. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people both now and forevermore.” [Psalms 125:2] The Mount of Olives (background, right) and the other hills surrounding the Temple Mount are higher than the holy site. Mount of Olives “In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.” [Isaiah 2:2] |

Trump >Biblical prophecy is coming to pass atspeed with Trumps decision to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, to the alignment of Russia, Turkey and Iran, it is ALL coming together! Isaiah 17:2, Zechariah 12:2, Ezekiel 38, Psalm 83 all unfolding before our very eyes. Our redemption is drawing near!! Levitvus 25 > 8 10 Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; ]each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan. 11 The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you Balfour Declaration The Balfour Declaration was a public statement issued by the British government during World War I announcing support for the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine, then an Ottoman region with a minority Jewish population. If you look at 1917, it was a Jubilee Year, and the Balfour Amendment came, and then in 50 years, it was 1967, and Jerusalem was reconnected to Israel,/b]And you add 50 to 1967, and you're in 2017. the year to move the embassy and make that declaration because it is a biblical timing of absolute precision. Thank God, he's going to do exactly that The nations that blessed Israel were blessed of God, and the nations that cursed Israel were cursed of God |
ollah1:If you are Christian ,, you need to read bible and watch event around you , If you are not am afraid I wont be able to go into so much detail you will need a real christian aroun you to explain Trump > is just make a way for the 3rd temple to be rebuilt for Jesus to come and take throne Levitvus 25 > 8 10 Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. Zacharia14 > 12Now this will be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth. 13It will come about in that day that a great panic from the LORD will fall on them; and they will seize one another's hand, and the hand of one will be lifted against the hand of another... The fear of the Lord should be hitting everyone Biblical Prophecy happening before our very eyes daily. This one is huge. Jesus is so close to returning. If you have loved ones who aren't saved please understand the seconds that we have left. Urgent is the call. 2 Thess 2>11 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. A lot of people will not believe and a lot will loose their faith. |
Alcatraz005:bro .. let watch na ....... Biblical prophecy is unfolding right before our eyes. Jerusalem - ALL of it - has been the capital of Israel since King David over 4,000 years ago. King David actually bought the whole of Jerusalem so there would be no arguments about it in the future. Everything happens in the bible 2 or 3 times. 2 or 3 witnesses. When we see nations going up against Israel, know that the time is here. Isreal is about to be judged for their not excepting Jesus as the Son of God. Tribulation is right around the corner!! People need to go back to Jehovah and forsake their sin. President Trump is responding to God's intentions for Israel. And 2017 is the jubilee year, when major prophecies involving Israel are fulfilled or at least major world events being us to fulfilment happen. |
very brave When Donald Trump won the American election the whole world were shock............it seem that the Americans did not want him as there president they March & protest................. but the God of Israel had chosen him he was chosen by God the be a part of prophecy for fullment if God is for us who can be against us.................. And yes this was the major event concerning Israel for 2017. When the world see the Israelites deliverance this will be "The Straw That Breaks The Camel Back" to angry the nations for war... The Most High will put his spirit on the other nations to attack America spoken in Jeremiah... Anyone who reads my comment, you BEST come back to Yahawah and keep his Laws, Statues, and Commandments.. |

Stop taking tithes from poor and jobless people or children ... you are to help them Do not just tithe .. Do what Jesus said to make heaven ... Mat 25 ......if you have love ....Matthew 22:39, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself ... if you really do .....you will have compassion on the poor Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me,you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, ....... Feed hungry people I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in........ not just your brethren , help strangers , society I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, cloth the poor I was sick and .... help the sick people ............... take gospel to hospital and give them what you can. even if to help them buy injections. in prison and you did not look after me.’...................do not abandon those in prison .. take the gospel to them and help in your own way, otherwise read on 44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ 45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ 46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” YOU will give account of what you did to Jesus not your church or pastor |
anger.............temporary madness ... control it......or it will control you |
IT is better for the upcoming pastors to get a jobs first before going into the ministry or may be the church can place them on salary. Jobs of the Apostles . Peter, Andrew, James, and John were clearly fishermen Matthew (Levi) was a tax collector for the hated Romans Based on (Jn 21:1-5), it appears that Thomas and Nathanael (Bartholomew) a Philip, Simon, James were also fishermen. Judas Iscariot (who betrayed Jesus) may have held a previous job where he handled money (i.e. bookkeeper or accountant) since he was in charge of the money that Jesus and the disciples had (Jn 12:6)(Jn 13:29). it is believed that Simon (the zealot)) was likely a member of a radical Jewish sect called "the Zealots" which were fanatical about the law and strongly opposed Roman rule. Paul was a tent maker |
Elevating or worshipping any pastors is very wrong Persecution attends the spread of the gospel in early days. Act 14 < The disciples don not like people honouring or praising them . , ....they always get angry when people do so.......very humble 4 Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, hey rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out, 15 And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence. But Peter made him get up. “Stand up,” he said, “I am only a man. Rev 22 8Now I, John, saw and heard[a] these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. 9 Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.” Exo 34 .14For thou shalt worship no other god; for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God, The man of sin, the Antichrist, will be the most self-exalted human being on earth, and this same spirit of pride will drive him (II Thessalonians 2:3-4). |
Christians please stop condemning and cursing him ...pray for him..The gospel of Jesus Christ is based on love..... When Christians sees anyone against them ... they begin to pronounce curses...we fear the disapproval of people more than we want the approval of God. If people dont know Christ you dont condemn them... they can say what they like ... your job is to lead them to Christ. Mark 2<17 “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” Jon 3. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Rom 8> 34 > Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Rom 2> 1..29 For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. Africans do have problems confronting their pastors.....They are not gods. You can challenge them in a very respectful way. Act 10..25 As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence. But Peter made him get up. “Stand up,” he said, “I am only a man. Exo 20.5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God.. No man can ever be perfect as Jesus ...If men were perfect there will be no need for salvation. |
The real tithe Jesus commanded is Acts 4:34-37 < There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold 35 and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. Hear Jesus here 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Mat 23>23 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin *tithers(. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24 You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel. |
