eiyaaa!
H e cant run forever ..It was not his fault she died .....The girls family were still seeing her when she was pregnant...he did not run away with girl when she was pregnant na.... so how old was the girl.

He should have stood his ground and face them or gather the elders to speak to the girls family ......and report the threat to the police....

If they find him , they can kill him and you will think he is still on the run.

" Tests were conducted and doctors confirmed that Jimoh may not be able to impregnate a woman again. However, the desire to have more children drove Jimoh outside, he met Biodun and they started dating. Biodun had parked all her belongings and moved out. as she cannot cope with his condition of not being able to bear a child.
The bone of contention now is that the first wife heard what happened between Jimoh and Biodun and she is now saying that the boy she had when she was with Jimoh did not belong to him."

eeeya!
He should not have left the first wife that stood with him despite his condition. They should have done more test.
They need a DNA test to confirm if the child is his or not. Was he visiting the child or not or he just realised that he has a child somewhere.

Fear Factor.....Teach and not curse

. Ezekiel 33:11 "Say to them, 'As I live!' declares the Lord GOD, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live.

Honestly Christians need to calm down ..otherwise we might end up driving young people away from the church body of Christ .., Jesus came for the sinners and does not want death of sinners but to repent,.....teach Jesus, his love and why he died for us and kingdom of God ,, they can repent but not curse them...If not for the grace of Jesus ,, we would have been under the curse of laws and death and keep killing ram for our sins.

Mark 2.17 And hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners." That is the message of Christianity, the essence of the gospel, the reason for the incarnation

Agreed good Christian will not buy car with illegal money ....A growing christian member , new believers and atheist might... it is a hard country and most people find it difficult to make money but they still want to please God and come to church. Some are still driving stolen cars to church or following their friend s to church. some growing Christians might even leave the church in anger.

How do you minister to people especially atheist after cursing people..... with social media borders cannot longer stop the gospel , the whole world is hearing it .... The Disciples of Jesus still got it wrong when Jesus was with them .......he knows everyone of them including Judas but did not drive them away or keep cursing them. Jesus is love.

Most people that don t go to church like me listen to the Gospel on the radio and TV and social media and learning the bible. am still not perfect.

Cursing Cursing everywhere by these pastors . Is that to his members or everybody.

did tin tire peson sef,,,our roads are death trap and on top curses from pastor shey.

Some member s must have given tithes or offering to his church innocently from money earned from shady businesses or got the money from someone that earned it illegally na and some will be new convert in the Lord eager to give .

What about money or vehicles donated by big men and politicians to the church and they use to buy church buses and cars for the ministry and unknown to the church that it was illegal

IMO > he could have corrected in love ..not with curses ...

IMO <Why cant they help the lady somewhere to have a shower and change of clothes when she regained her senses ...instead of crowds gathering round her . Did she come to the crusade by herself.

I do believe in miracle but the focus of going to Holy ghost should be about God and salvation ... not signs and wonders. Its like using miracle to sell the gospel.

It is not every miracle you have to believe>

mat 16>4
Only an evil, adulterous generation would demand a miraculous sign, but the only sign I will give them is the sign of the prophet Jonah." Then Jesus left them and went away.

Simon the Sorcerer Act 8>9
9 Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, 10 and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, “This man is rightly called the Great Power of God.” 11 They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his sorcery. .

Test every spirit < do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world

Most Nigerian Pastors Are Fake, Not Called By God – Oritsejafor
A former National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, says most people who claim to be pastors or men of God are not, as they were not called by God in the first place.Oritsejafor expressed displeasure over how ‘these men of God’ have now turned the church into a business centre and living flamboyant lives, stating that the development was the reason kidnappers now see the church as a place to make money.

ebenholer:

I have been undoubtedly revealed to that tithing is a necessity to cater for servants, pastors and preachers of Gods words, who have made preaching their all time professions(Levites). So giving it is a choice for the giver if only he or she deems it necessary to provide for God household, as this will automatically yield an interest and benefits for the giver. And this is what the book of Malachi affirms...

Tithes and Giving are different ...please get it right.... No one said giving or donation to church is wrong ..Tithes is not for us.

Churches ask people to pay tithes and expect miracles .... what makes them think that without tithes that the gospel will stop . God can raise stones to propagate his message if pastor have faith.
Ministry work is not easy but you have to teach the right message and have the calling of God. YOu can still be a minister and have a job .God can raise people that will assist you.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
yes Paul taught that it is proper for a man who labors in the gospel to receive his support from the gospel . But for the sake of avoiding the charge that he was preaching for the money, Paul chose not to receive support from a new church where he was ministering while he was there Instead, he supported himself by making tents. But if the funds came from another church outside the area, he would stop making tents and devote himself full time to the work of the ministry . Acts 18:1-11, 2 Cor. 11:7-12.

Paul never seemed to make his needs known, even as prayer requests, but trusted in the sovereign God to provide. When funds ran low, he would go back to work until God met the need. Paul’s focus was on preaching the gospel, not on his need for money. While he genuinely appreciated the gift from the Philippians, he was more excited about what it signified about their heart for God.

Do you know what
Paul must have taught the Philippians early on the importance of faithful giving to support those in Christian ministry, because soon after he left town, they sent gifts after him. They would have been just a few months old in the Lord, but they were already practising faithful giving not tithing.

I do not have a church yet but I listen to Dr Abels preaching and few others .

Are they preaching in a very hostile environment like in some part Saudi Arabia, China, or is it to protect their expensive suits and jewelries.

IMO> If anybody needed bodyguards, I think it would have been Jesus and some of the early disciples; because of their unpopular teachings and because they preached in hostile environments. Yet they didn’t. In fact, when Peter tried to act like Jesus’ bodyguard when He was arrested before His crucifixion, Jesus rebuked him for cutting off the ear of one of the men that came to arrest Him, and placed back the man’s ear.

For many of these preachers, having bodyguards is more or less an ego thing than it is for protection and because of their obsession to look and act like the world. Celebrities in the world have bodyguards, so why not these preachers who consider themselves as celebrities? They figured if having bodyguards portrays their celebrity status, then they might as well have them.

By the way, who pays for the bodyguards? Are they paid out of the preacher’s pocket or your tithes and offerings? I’d be interested to know.

Those that are rooted in God are lead by Holy Spirit to have a clear revelation of the scriptures/Bible. U as a person suppose to have grown to the level of asking God for a clear revelation on this.

The Association of Christian Theologians, at the weekend, told Christian leaders in support of paying tithe to hold their peace, saying the exercise is not meant for Christians. say Adeboye, Oyedepo, others got it wrong

The association, which made its position known after a meeting in Lagos, said that payment of tithe, as recorded in the Bible passage, Malachi 3:6 to 10, was meant for the descendants of Jacob. Nigerians and other African tribes are not included, according to the theologians.
Speaking through its National President, Prof. Kunle Macaulay, the body said Nigerians were the descendants of Ham, a Gentile, and not of Shem, “who are the Israelites, and are, as such, not obliged to pay 10 per cent of their income as demanded by the churches.”
Macaulay, who supported radio host and presenter, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly called Daddy Freeze, in describing tithe-paying by Christians as “modern scam”, also deplored a comment credited to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, that Christians who refused to pay tithes “are living under a curse.”
He said, “Daddy Freeze is right by calling tithe-paying a modern scam. Tithe paying is not of Christianity and we expect well educated men of God like Pastor Adeboye and Bishop (David) Oyedepo (of The Living Faith Mission) to tell their congregations this biblical truth.
“Malachi 3:6 to 10, the Bible passage being used to threaten Christians refers to the descendants of Jacob, who are children of Israel, and not Christians.
“Nigerians are descendants of Ham, the race referred to as the Gentiles, while the Israelites are descendants of Shem, which is the house of Jacob.
“Men of God should interpret the Bible in the context of the writing as well as the history of the period of writing. In verse 7 of Malachi 3, the Bible records that the Israelites did not keep to the law of paying tithe ‘ever since the time of their fathers’, and were being admonished to change.
“That passage is talking about the law of Moses and not the law of love under which Christians are expected to operate.”
The ACTS president said Christians and their leaders could raise funds to carry out their projects, “but not by deceit, manipulation, magic, suggestivity and hypnotism, as we have these days.”
The Bible, he insisted, should be studied historically, noting that many pastors nowadays were not biblically trained.
“Many of them are either retirees, pensioners or jobless people, who are now in Christian leadership,” he observed.
