I grew up in Aba, finished my primary and secondary school there, I still visit my people there once in a while and I last visited 3 months ago.
I stayed at No 303 PH road. I have been through all the nooks and cranny of Aba.
It was even better off years back compared to now that everywhere has deteriorated beyond repairs.
The first time I saw a street light and a good road with trees planted by the sides was when I travelled outside Aba.

Apart from those St micheals, Azikiwe etc areas which has a little manageable roads that I believe are nothing to write home about anymore, no other area within Aba.

Where exactly are you going mention; is it Ogborhill, Crystal part, ariaria, Nnentu village, flyover, Obohia road etc??
Can you tell me that there is one... just one motorable road in Aba that can take you from main park directly to Flyover now as we converse
What we used to pay 20-40 naira to those days is now 150-200 naira because you need to pay your way round to avoid swimming in dirty smelly water that the deteriorated roads have been subjected to, not to talk of the time you'll waste.
