jaephoenix: I'm tired of all these 'go to a village and slap an old man' speech. Its retards that believe that kind of stuff. Juju is created for control. 1. If juju does exist, many African countries wouldn't have been subdued and defeated by the whiteman who used only muskets(ancient guns). Despite the sheer number of those African armies and their witch doctors, the relatively fewer Whitemen invaded, killed and captured them, including the juju carvings. To those our ancestors those carvings were our gods and possessed great powers. To the white man, it was some good sculpture with nice designs. So those 'great and powerful' juju were carted away in dirty stinky cartons grin So much for powerful voodoo. Same scenario repeated itself in many African and African originated countries like Nigeria, South Africa, Haiti etc. Your Benin bronze head that was carved and revered by the ancient Edo Kingdom(revered til now to be the headquarters of witchcraft in Nigeria grin) were amongst artifacts stolen. This same Edo youre wanking yourself sore. Their God is useless grin 2. If actually juju exist, their owners would have been filthy rich. I mean all they have to do is teleport to CBN or many bank vaults, steal the money and get out. But nothing of such happens 3. James Randi, an ex-magician set up a challenge for any supernatural practitioner including pastors, shamans, psychics etc. Show us your power and cart away 1mil usd. Simple. Til he died, nobody showed up. Upon living in the US which is the hotbed of Pentecostal miracle workers, none dared come forward. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Million_Dollar_Paranormal_Challenge There was a similar challenge by a Nigerian atheist for 2m naira on Twitter but nobody showed up. Instead people were telling him to go to hinterlands. But its a challenge, he doesn't need to go anywhere. People go to shows like Nigeria got Talents etc and showcase what they got, the show doesn't go around looking for artistes or gymnasts. Even at that, the young man visited such hinterlands but came up empty. The problem about going to those juju priest shrines is that those venues are rigged out to perform the 'magic' 4. If you notice, with the ubiquity of cameras , yet no video exists of any pastor healing amputees. Nope. All you see are healed sickle cell, infertility etc, stuff we can't verify. Amputees are on the streets, with many of them in orthopedic hospitals in Igbobi, Enugu etc 5. If juju is valid, Africa would have won many sporting events. This world cup finals would have been played by African. But despite every juju they do, they end up not getting near the semi finals. 6. I have had 2 personal challenges with dudes here who claim to have supernatural powers. One said he heals the sick and a pastor, RoyalDiadems. Turns out he's a fake. He even threatened me with madness. I begged him to go ahead. Til now he disappeared and hasnt replied any of my prompts. Another is a supposed juju priest. I told him to make me mad or curse me. Same outcome, fake So bro, no, I don't believe in those nonsense. But if you got proof, do let me know Good. I don't believe in those things either. Since others have suggested same things I suggest. While flexing your muscles on a blog and not at least try to verify by the nonsensical suggestions? Out of nonsense atimes something cogent could happen. What do you think bro? |

In your case, you posited a point, but when asked for evidence you have been squirming and whining for days, and pointing me to go look for evidence for you. C'mon bro. Both of us know you got no evidence. Someone pulls out stuff from his anus and dumps it on you and you believe it without a shred of evidence I understand your standpoint. You want to know what a curse really is just travel to a village, any in your state. Look for an elderly person especially a herbalist and give a dirty slap. Or better still look for a place where they have taboos, try to do otherwise. You will have first hand experience of what a curse is. Experience is better than logic. Kobojunkie: Why do you let men deceive you with their tales? Why not read the story for yourself? From the above passage, the story explains that much of what you were fed by your mogs is nothing but delusions.
A. When Elijah first took off his coat, he used his own hand to hit the water with it. In much the same way Moses struck the water with his staff to part waters, it was not the staff or the coat that had the power in it, but the Prophet whose hand it was in. B. Elijah did not throw his coat on Elisha. Instead, it dropped to the floor after he was carried away. C. Elisha noticed Elijah had dropped the coat and so picked it up. There is no mention of him wearing it or even intending to. D. By the way, there is no indication from the story that the coat was imbued with even Elijah's power. From the story, it was just a coat. E. There is also no indication that on the way back, Elisha hit the water with the same coat instead we are told that Elisha called out to, YHWH, God of Elijah, and God answered him. F. At least the men who had gone with Elisha to see Elijah off were not gullible to ascribe power to the coat.... ... so why do you let these gods of men f0ck with your mind?
The New Year, save your own soul and mind by reading up any story you are fed by your pastors and mogs so you quit letting them dick around in your mind! Read the book for your own self. While you are at it, find and read a book on logical /critical reasoning, so you can at least learn how to shut your mind off from the scams that religion poses to it. If silence is the best answer for a fool, what is the best answer to a confusionist? |

Good morning house I have a question for the Christians in the house Despite the atrocities of the west , imperialism , colonialism and slave trade In total all the evil doings of their ancestors. I have not seen any white man complain about generational curses , Is this generational curses only for Africans . Cause any small things the pastors will say our ancestors did so and so in the past
The OP as well as many people believers and unbelievers and revellers like Antichristian are wrong in this matter. To say anything about this, you must be able to define a 'curse' and it's sources and operations. I am not here to do the foregoing.
But, since there are white preachers like Derek Prince, Rebecca Brown and a host of others who preach and teach and minister about it, then, we can conclude that. The whites recognize curses in Al its ramifications. Moreso, just visit the internet and browse the internet on the subject matter. You will be surprised to see host of books by white authors.

While in school in the late 80s and early 90s, I came in as a quiet hard guy I had heard about cultists but no opportunity to meet them. I came from a home of powerful herbalist. My grandfather used to say that people that didn't get power used to join useless groups and cults. He didn't belong to any. O held his view religiously. He was one of the few feared people in my town. A one man army, unassuming, and quasi - gentle.
I became religious in my first year in the University. In my one year stay in the Polytechnic, my friend offered to pay to join kegite, I refused
I knew then, that if any cultists harassed me, the were many ways to fight unnoticed. He could commit a crime that would lead him to prison in short time, coming out to bigger one to bigger jail term till I am satisfied He could wake up one day and commit suicide. Anyways, because they form hardness, you wouldn't know the fellow you slapped six months ago or over a year ago that is the one fighting back. I considered them as stupid people, wasting their time. They believed that power and wickedness is their own sole commodity
For those still remaining on Nairaland, power has no real definition. It comes in different shades.

I once given a book where their organization is reason ' cell' in a few pages. That can fascinate an ignorant person like most in their organization. A degree holder in Biology or related courses would know that this Organization is a bunch of jokers. I once had a encounter with one of them, trying to impress me with a topic he knew nothing about. I told him,' you are just like a primary two pupil who was just taught, twinkle, twinkle, little star....' On getting home, he asked his father, a Professor of Astronomy, daddy I know something you don't know. The Dad said, ' tell me what you know'. The small boy said, Stars are small, and they twinkle.' The dad smiled at his ignorance but would not try to discuss with him. Most of this people know next to nothing. The make so much noise about their ignorance, even in Christian faith they claim to profess! |

1. No single evidence for creationism 2. There are thousands of evidence that supports evolution. 3. Creationism teaches that life came from nothing, yet creationists keep asking where life started with evolution?
There is absolutely no reason to believe a god created life and no evidence for it.
if you have evidence or superior arguement that supports creationism over evolution tell us, cause no one in the world has so far presented any evidence that life was created

The man talk the talk
Brilliant rejoinder laced with grammar, Latin, and copious history.
OBJ is seemingly the lone voice of unity in the now Nigeria. He demonstrated that by not only given the Cocoa ( not a natural resources as OP claimed; imported and cultivated, same rubber, groundnut....), unlike oil. OBJ gave Cocoa and it's proceeds Obafemi Awolowo University, Liberty Stadium, WNTV/ WNBS, the toil and labour of Awolowo and Yoruba people and missionary schools, to the Federal Government.
I personally find it difficult to forgive him. He robbed Yoruba race of property and strides of development.
I also share in his sentiments: putting his life on the line to fight for Nigerian's unity.
To me, the latter is a sincere mistake he made. It influences his judgement.
On the whole, this frictions of interests, if it failed to break the nation, would produce a fine country, this will happen after all the prodigal fathers are all gone. |
