The recent power tussle in Kano state between the paramount ruler, the deposed Emir of Kano and the Mr Governor of Kano state has been taken to a conclusion that has sparked reactions of various shades. The Legal luminaries have risen up to challenge the illegality of the banishment in the court of competent jurisdiction. The former president of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo wrote a thought provoking letter to HRH following the dethronement. Askari Dokubo has roared an insult upon the finer Emir. The Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka reacted from the academic corner Amon other scenarists. I think, within the limits of human provisions as given by his creator, Sanusi should not be totally condemned. He is just a mere mortal. We all with our faults and imperfections. His is for all to see and accessed by all because of where he was privileged to serve. However, listening, watching or reading through his arguments and standpoint of reasoning, you would not deny tha this man is a brilliant mind. This shows in the reformation he brought into banking industry. When his N200m library was been evacuated, I could see the force behind his guts. He is different by far from most leaders in every stratum of our political world. The daft ness of our past leaders is the fruit of poverty, confusion, agitation, genocide we are reaping today. This man became a lone voice against the abnormalities of leadership of the north vis a vis political, traditional, and religious stakeholders. He decried the poverty، ignorance, child labour, early marriage for girls among his own people(himself no too different). These indices put the north behind and has made them a weight weighing down the machine of progress of Nigeria, and we are all affected. If this man is only voice against the mad leadership Nigeria from the north that will complement the activist of the south to challenge our vision less leaders. We will miss him. If the the hundreds of thousands of people who lost their lives, savings and pensions because of wicked bankers are checkmated, we will miss him. If the illiterate Islamic scholars that misinterprete the Holy Quran are cautioned , we will miss him. If the teeming girls would be saved from ill - marriage and taken back to schools by his voice, we will miss him. If the breaking up of Nigeria as desired by some does not com quickly and a voice can lead to a better living together nurturing a common destiny, we will miss him. If the north will continue to live in abject poverty, abysmal ignorance, want and lack and genocide and extremism and directionlessness, they will miss him more. |
His opinion. For me o. He is one of very rare honest and reasonable leaders who decries the poverty level, child labour and girl child early marriage, and ignorance that has bedeviled their north. Corrupt and backward looking Gandollar and his group have dethroned him thus buried the lone voice of deliverance for northern Nigeria. Ignorance, extremism, and poverty have crippled the mindset of their youths. It will take the north a very long time to get out of poverty and darkness they impose on themselves. They practice the wrong form of Islam they form for themselves. I would have concluded tat Islam is their problem if the were no Dubais, Saudi Arabia’s, Turkeys of this world. Good luck to HRH, Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II, the best emir, the north ever had. |
OLAADEGBU:Ok ooo |
Let him try, Ekiti people are waiting for him. |
This fellow should be dethroned too. |
You'd better be o. |
SLAP44:Biafravirus and igboteria will kill nigeria under igbo presidency |
POMPEY1:No dethronement, a sensible person is the enemy of the North. Did sanusi not tell them the hard truth? Result? |
Realadey:He dey craze? I learned they don’t use generators in Kenya |
stieyven:Answer my question with the scriptures if you’d address a fool, how do you? |
moabdul:Yeah when Obj appointee Nenadi Usman to position Rev Hassan Kukah went to thank him, also some elements in the ‘north’ protested that the real northerners are Muslims. Also, I lived in the. Middle belt I know the persecution there. |
stieyven:What do you call a fool then? |
fk002:your own mumu no get level. i can't imagine what the future generactions of middle belters would say about this GENERATION. a generation that sold their future to a directionless northern leaders which product you are. s poverty cultured people that plundered the wealth of nigeria, adhered to power and yet drawing other regions back. bro, stop deceiving yourself, you belong to a lost generation. |
Dreal1247:They have done that already by their ignorance and bigotry. The only reasonable voice for a better north is now dethroned. I watched some of Lamido's speeches on youtube. I know the north is losing a real visionary leader. |
ZombiePUNISHER:The middlebelt mumu too much |
Captainrambo2:At 72 kwa?! |
Another fool like Sunday Awoniyi: He would soon understand that to be a real northerner you have to be hausa - fulani and a muslim. |
