Culture › Re: Who Really Is ODUDUWA? by MightySparrow: 3:53pm On Feb 16, 2015 |
Oduduwa is the progenitor of Yoruba. And, because success has many relatives, Edos are twisting history by claiming that he was an exiled prince. While coming from the east, he came with some people among whom are gogobiris a tribe with high affinity with Yoruba nation.
Yoruba did not give birth to Yoruba nation but like Otto Von Bismarck of Germany, Mahatma Ghandi of India, he united a scattered Yoruba peoples together hence esteemed as the father of Yoruba. |

I have always believe that igbos are unreasonably barbaric. The other day a nairalander wrote a thread about the survival of Yoruba culture in Latin American countries. You could imagine the bashing of Igbo writers on Yorubas.
Is this kind of culture that can survive among human beings?
Neither education nor Christianity has been able to change igbos from barbarism.
The other day my landlady's daughter's husband died, in the name of tradition, the deceased brothers chased the poor woman out of her house. While alive, the illiterate husband had prevented the wife ( a Masters degree holder) from working. The wicked brother - in - laws threw the poor woman and her children into a wilderness. Months later, you would not believe the woman and her children knew any affluence in their life before. They - igbos- brag about all these vices. |

Yes,
I was instantly healed of ten years migraine in a campus fellowship. We were fewer than twenty people in that class that day. A fellow student led the prayer that day. Because I strayed into the fellowship uninvited , I decided to give my life to Jesus. That was 1988.
Two years ago my daughter had a dead bone in one of her leg I took the challenge to God the bone came to life. She was to be operated on in the prestigious UCH. Jesus works wonders.
In The Redemption Camp of RCCG I was there when a lady in her twenties testify how her leg that was shorter than the other instantly grew to the length of the other. She remarked that day, ' when I get home this morning my mother will not recognize me.' I can never forget those words.
Again, following the word of knowledge by Pastor Adeboye, in the same camp, a man grew two inches taller, when he came out to testify, his trousers had become shorter.
Jesus, I say works wonders. |
