They didn't find anything incriminating in the laptop bag and asked for my other luggage. They opened up everything in the bag, searched every part, even my trousers to make sure I didn't hide anything in there. It was all like a shock to me because everything was being done outside the airport in the full glare of everybody.

I swear, I felt like entering the ground because they were a lot of people with me at the Airport at that time and a lot of Romanians who had entered the same flight with me.

Today, I arrived Frankfurt Hahn Airport, Germany from Cluj-Napoca, Romania at 8:30AM. I had finally entered Germany and of course, I was happy. I went through passport control and went to claim my baggage. I have three big luggages, so I took them out one after the other, bought a bus ticket to the Frankfurt Am Main train station so I can take a train to my destination.

I decided to holla at my homies from Cluj. They had told me to notify them when I get to Frankfurt so I went in search of free WiFi and dropped my luggages near the ticket stand. I finally found a free WiFi right at the entrance of the airport. Just when I decided to connect, there was this guy standing beside me, asking me what the time was.

Soon we started talking. This guy was Arab looking but dressed and speaks like an European. He told me he had just got to Germany from Italy and waiting for his Cousin to pick him up. He soon started smoking, offering me one but I rejected it and told him I don't smoke.

Minutes later, a group of Armed German Airport police came circling around us. They started interrogating me and asked me if he was my friend. I swiftly denied he was a friend and told them we had only started speaking minutes ago. I started to understand where the questions were leading to and things soon got to a head-on when they started becoming aggressive and asked us both for our passports.

I knew I was bleeped up when the guy brought out an AFGHANISTAN passport.

Guy stop misleading people here,first you said you where giving visa without deposits and proof of finance, now you open up that you are an Erasmus Mundus students, didn't you know previously that as a scholarship student you are not required to have open block account or show proof of finance for your student visa and people are responding to you thinking that you don't have scholarship because sometimes it happen that embassy issue visa to student without confirming the payment of DB deposits but the person cannot escape it while in Germany because you must show the evidence of it before you will be giving resident permit.

Get your facts right. Not everyone in a Mundus program is a scholarship Awardee. No one in my program is a scholarship awardee. Check Mundus programs, they have tuition fees as well as scholarships. So stop committing fallacies.

You would need someone you really trust in Germany or elsewhere in Europe to help you with that and multiple account holders of the particular bank you intend to use and let me say, bank connections. I also tried the black and blue market but the rates quoted, even by sellers on nairaland was too much and there was the risk of someone running away with my money.

Skye bank currently allows moneygram transfer and I have used it since December to receive a total of about €5000 from Nigeria. And the last rate was about 400 to 1€ minus charges.

Here is how it's done.

First, You are only allowed to use your account once in 3months for a total of about N380k. So therefore, if you are sending much money, you will need multiple account holders with the bank who will allow you to use their slots. I have used about 7.

Secondly, you will need someone or people YOU REALLY TRUST in Germany or elsewhere to help you take the money from Money gram's office and deposit into your account. This is because I doubt the bank will send multiple transfers to a bank account (You can try though).

Lastly, a branch is only allowed two transactions per day and of course there are backlogs. This is where the connections come in. I didn't have connections though, all mom did was to make sure she begged at the bank and told them how important the transfers are and basically I received in 3-5 working days.

If you are Ok with the stress and the procedures involved, I would really recommend it. It is faster than Form A or dorm transfer and will save you about 1 million if you were to use the blue or black market rates.

The presence of US military is the reason why those two have not been defeated. It will be good for humanity if the Syrian and Iraqi government ban all US citizens and activities, most especially the US military. That way, the war in Syria will be over soon enough.
