Science/TechnologyRe: 'Rivers Of Blood' Flow In Dhaka On Eid (Photos, Video) by Mille: 2:59pm On Sep 14, 2016
It's true after all. The best way to hide secret is in a book.

Despite the article stating clearly that the blood is due to the many sacrificed animals on Eid day coupled with lack of proper drainage, some people are still calling end time, Blood of Jesus etc.

Lol. You have to be patient.

I'm going for an Erasmus Masters Program too and Romania is my first destination. I did my interview on July 18. Till now, my visa is still "pending for decision" despite the fact that my departure date is Sunday.

Be smart like me.

Start searching for a new gf, Stop all financial and emotional obligations to her.
Please dont break up with her yet. Continue taking your share. Mine got back with her ex. Though they haven't even met yet but I still consider it cheating and the relationship unofficially over. She didn't even know I know.

These days ehn, it is morning, afternoon and Night until I'm exhausted for that day and can no longer fire.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: What Is The Chances Of Getting A Job In Nigeria With Foreign Degrees by Mille: 9:46pm On Sep 11, 2016

Thank you, I'm getting what I want... I actually finished my first degree in Nigeria and currently pursing my masters degree in South Africa and I will be through by next year, so I'm trying to find out if I should come back for a job or stay back, seriously I really don't know what to do right now...
Bros eh, Nigeria is currently in deep shit.

This aint the best time to come home.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: What Is The Chances Of Getting A Job In Nigeria With Foreign Degrees by Mille: 8:38pm On Sep 11, 2016
PatrickOkunima:
The simple truth is that Nigerian employers have no preference for foreign degrees. Hence, it's a waste of money on your own part if you're getting the degree to come and work here.
They actually do.

Just that most employers are skeptical of foreign degree as it means they MIGHT have to pay more. I can't study in the UK and an employer will offer me 60k/month.

Btw, I wonder why people come back to Nigeria immediately after getting the degree. Stay back there and work and if they don't allow you, go to other countries.

With a recognized foreign degree, you have more chances of immigrating to immigrant friendly countries like Canada and Australia etc.
EducationRe: Academic Advice Needed, Help Me Out by Mille: 8:27pm On Sep 09, 2016
I am a graduate of animal science. (Animal Production and Health)

Basically speaking, Soil science is more lucrative than Forestry. But in Nigeria, both have very limited employment opportunities though one can still argue that an SSLM grad still has more chance than that of FWM.

But in developed countries where you stand a much better chance, SSLM still beat it handsdown. Both belong under the STEM degrees which are in high demand. But with SSLM, you stand a chance of delving into related careers such as Agroecology, Organic Agriculture etc. I am not sure of FWM as I have no idea.

In my own case, I have changed from a career path of Animal science to one that encompasses Agroecology, Food science, Organic Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain and Sustainable Agriculture.

But hey, you remind me of myself. I so much hated my course back then that I tried to leave even after 200L. But look at it now, I developed an interest later on, looked for ways to get a career out of it and boom. I wouldn't change it for anyother one right now.

Bloggers and their useless news.

You talked to the girl. A little girl who obviously knows nothing.

I can't count the number of times small kids called me their husbands. It's just a playful thing most of these kids think it's true. I doubt if the writer of this news ever lived in Lagos and most importantly mixed with people.

Making a news out of nothing.

I've equally noted the fact that studies in Finland from next year would be paid for, that's why am switching to Germany on the advice of @thesoj.

Thanks guys for all your response and advice.
I saw your quote late. And I am thankful by what people have told you by what I mean with highly qualified migrant. It's not about the skill, it's about getting your skill recognized.

If you would switch to Germany, you will need to double your money.

I just did a small research on their embassy website.
On the website it stated they need people like me to apply for a resident permit, meaning I must get a job there aforetime.
But am keeping my fingers crossed for suggestions from the house.

Thanks for you time and advice.
Now let's be sincere,

How do you expect to get a job with your O'level which is not even recognized in the first place?

Finland and all the Nordic countries you mentioned would not give you a visa for unskilled labour. The best way you can migrate is as a highly qualified migrant or through Study. So for your case, You have to go through study. That way you have a certificate that makes you suitable to get good jobs in the coming years.

Mindfulness:
You have a crisis. It's ok to have a crisis. Most people go through a crisis every now and then. Accept it for now instead of pushing against it and you will feel a relief.

If you don't feel like seeing people and picking calls, it's fine! Don't push yourself to do anything you don't want to.

Try to reach for the feeling of anger if you can, it is the feeling closest to depression but it feels more powerful.

I will try to guide you from there if you come online again but I would prefer for you to find a psychiatrist if possible so that he can run some medical check-ups.

Don't worry, many people have been through such a phase and have come out stronger.
You can make it too. It is ok to be where you are right now.
Thank you very much for your concern.

I did listen to the previous advices listed above and I can assure you things are a lot better now. A change of environment, holidays and long walks did a miracle. I am back up and running again. I have never felt better.

Thank you

3Q ; 26 -11

Lithuania leads 62 - 52

Now 65 - 54. Going to the final quarter. I will rather sleep now. Can't see Nigeria winning this anymore.

For very patriotic citizens, Nigeria is currently 17.0 to win

Who owns the house? The man, the woman or both?

If it's owned exclusively by the man, he will get away with it here in Nigeria. I am not a lawyer but you know how the Nigerian Justice system works.

She must possess atleast A1 German certificate as part of the embassy requirements.
I used to believe so too but I asked. This was the reply. I did share the screenshot of our emails back then.

"It is not true that spouses are generally not allowed to work, a language course is not a problem either"

@ azuka15, I have no idea. Curiosity about if my girlfriend could join me made me ask them.

azuka15:
Please has anybody had experience on student visa with spouse and children, Is it obtainable?
I did ask the embassy a similar question about this and they replied after a long time. According to their email;

It is obtainable ONLY IF you are married to your spouse
The Child is yours with proof

You will be required to fund a blocked account higher than the 8k+. They refused to give me the exact figure and said it will be fixed by the Alien office.

Your spouse is generally allowed to work with or without German proficiency. But they did not specify if there are restrictions on the number of hours she can work.

I can't. Why would I want to live in a situation where I can't open a bank account, get a decent job or set up a business, always hiding from the police, stress of being caught or worst still, to be rough handled and bundled on a plane.

Some people can do that, not me. I had the option to follow somebody on such cases but I declined. I can't handle the emotional trauma. But I will be going this September sha. LEGALLY.
TravelRe: Why Nigerians Abroad Fail To Visit/return To Their Father Land by Mille: 11:57pm On Jul 31, 2016
It's simple. Most are illegal migrants who went on a tourist visa and overstayed.

My cousin and her husband both went to USA for a party that hasn't finished since about 1year ago. Despite both being very educated, they can't get jobs as they are illegal. They keep dragging the illegal jobs with the Mexicans. Jobs I'm sure most of us will not do in Nigeria, even in these hard times.

They can't come back home for fear of being seen as a failure.
