You omitted something important. The first thing I expected to see for the Igbos is CRIME. Now I don't know if it should fall in strength or weakness. Tough choice since criminals are highly celebrated and given titles in that part of the world. |
Princefrankie1:I just had to comment. I have had enough of you being gibberish. You call Walker a rejected Player? I wonder how you interpreted football. If Walker is not England first choice right back. Tell me who it is? When you said Delph is a part of Pep's first eleven. And it says all about you. May I remind you that it is Mendy, and Delph just recently got his chance because of his Injury. Because by your analysis, we can also say Pogba is not in the starting lineup. I even think you don't watch football, and get your analysis from hearsay. How can you say KDB is a tough choice? He will effortlessly be in the first team of any Club. I got annoyed when you mentioned Otamendi. Please stop talking about football. |
I read the main thread and I cried for my country. No wonder most of the racist professors here still think we are not qualified to be called humans. When I opened the thread, I expected to see a reprisal on armed herdsmen but I only saw innocent children being killed. I almost choked on my food and yet, there are still some stupid idiots who celebrated the violence or justified it. As much as I do not like the Fulanis nor will I ever step foot again in Northern Nigeria, I do not appreciate violence, especially not against children. |
PHC1stBorn:Don't mind silly OP. Like most Nigerian bloggers, basically just copied and pasted garbage. The post itself is even old but he still copied it anyway. Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland are two separate countries. ROI is an independent country on it's own while NI is a country under the United Kingdom, just like England, Scotland and Wales. Who doesn't know Emmanuel Macron is president of France I find it even laughable that Finland is considered more expensive than Japan, Luxembourg and France. Whoever made the list is definitely high on weed. And Italy made the top 10 but I still can't find Germany. Sergio Matarella has been President of Italy since 2015, for you to know how old the post copied is. I can't even find Singapore. Gerra outta here with this list. |
Fake News. Take it down Mynd44 |
Follow the instructions on the link. The steps to renouncing your citizenship is there. When you are done, cross the border over to Cameroon. http://www.nigeriaembassyusa.org/index.php?page=consular-services-2 Don't thank me. I'm doing it for my country |

Disclaimer: This post is not meant to chastise people in interracial relationships and only represents my learned opinion and observations. Also this post does not apply to Nigerians married to Mudsharks or those married to their ancestors or at least, someone who looks like their ancestor. I have lived in four European countries and I feel the situation is the same, or almost the same but I'll use Germany as a yardstick. When I arrived Germany, I experienced a culture shock. I had just moved there from Romania, a country in Eastern Europe, and despite both being Europeans, there are considerable differences in their lifestyle. It was normal to see couples living together, some with children, in the mall, in the streets etc. The more older the couple, more likelihood they have passed dating stage and are married. In Germany, at least around the state of Hessen where I frequented, It was not the case. All I come across at Aldi are bitter, older women. I was even forced to ask one of my colleague if Germans ever get married. YES? they do. But more and more men are choosing not to marry in Germany. Marriage is declining faster and cohabitation is on the rise. Well, except you are an illegal immigrant looking for papers to perfect your stay. I soon understood why. Like someone told me, in Germany, It is Women first, followed by dogs; followed by other animals and then men. First, there is a contrasting view on marriage. Marriage according to most Europeans is viewed more like a combination for the sake of recognition nothing more. The idea of a family is conceived as a consequence of togetherness and not as a goal itself while according to most Nigerians, it is a way of life. Like education, getting a job, something natural that just has to happen. Your white partner can wake up tommorrow and say she is not interested again. Chances are much lower if you marry a mudshark. Well, I am not anti-divorce and strongly encourage divorce in cases of physical, emotional or mental abuse by either partner. But I don't know if it's because of the favorable laws, greed or non-commitment, I see a lot of families torn apart here. Unlike most Nigerians who see marriage as an institution, bonded by love, faith and commitment to one another. When you divorce, you lose your kids, half your properties and end up paying child support for the rest of your life until the child is 21. If your German partner is unemployed, you are obligated to pay her monthly support as well during the period of separation, until the divorce proceedings are completed. If she or any of her family member is heartless, she just has to make a complaint, true or false and voila, you never get to see your kids again. If she is the lazy, uneducated type, she just sits at home feeding on your monthly cheque. In Germany, 35% of all marriage within a year are expected to end in divorce. 52% of divorce filings were made by women. 2. Babies. I don't know if it's just me. But when you relate mostly with educated female Europeans, they have a negative view on having babies. Many of them do not want to have them at all. Cultural/Societal difference. 3. Their lifestyle. We have quite different lifestyles. Every person I have ever dated or being "beneficial friends" with is either an avid smoker or drinker and in most cases both. It is quite usual to see married women in my nightout at PHI18 smoking, drunk and eventually get all spent out. A married Nigerian woman most likely wouldn't do that. And those who even do so, do it in secret. YES? I AM ANTI-SMOKING BECAUSE I AM WELL EDUCATED ENOUGH TO KNOW ITS EFFECTS. Don't ask me why I date them if I don't like their lifestyle. A man has needs that needs to be met. Also, in Europe, marriage is a bit more about sex. Once they are tired of having of you or as people become older, sex becomes less engaging and then cracks start to form as the relationship has a weaker foundation to cover the weakness in sex. 4. Marital Roles. I believe I don't need an explanation for this as a lot of people already know what's up on this one. When marital roles are reversed, this is a big problem for me. I know some people will come up to say some Nigerian women also do the same things when they start living abroad. I agree. Notable examples are videos of the nurse who maltreated her MIL and the wife of the US soldier killed when he came home to Nigeria. But they are still the lesser of two evils. One just has to be careful and watch out for her character. I also remember the Nigerian girl who I was eyeing then. Visited her the first time, served me food. In my mind, I was like this one is wife material o until halfway through the meal when she said " ;DChop quick abeg, make you go wash your plate" . I still remember my 35 year old 'Cameroonian brother' who is married to a 26 year old Nigerian. Bad Market. ![]() A much better alternative if you are going to be based abroad is to do only a traditional marriage back home. No court wedding and also, DO NOT REGISTER YOUR MARRIAGE ABROAD. That should keep her in check as there would be no legal loophole she can count on incase she becomes radicalized. Lastly, Moving Back Home. Getting married to a foreigner means you are stucked abroad. She is less likely to follow you to Nigeria if you ever plan on coming back home like me. It is much easier to convince a Nigerian to move back to Nigeria. NEXT POST |
unipol:Pardon my language but I don't know if I should call you stupid or not. You asked for recommendations and I gave you a website, and then you keep talking about scammers etc. This is why I don't help people on Nairaland. Rather than check out the website to have a grasp of what it does, you are here blabbing about irrelevant things. Did I tell you they charge any fees? They find the best connections for your flight, listing them according to your selected criterias. When you find one that interests you, you go to the website of the airline you want to fly and book. Simple. No wonder travel agents make a hell of a money in Nigeria. |
skyscanner.net you will not find a better site. |
First of all, do you live in Lagos? If Yes, then why haven't you relocated to the 'prosperous Biafra'? If No, then you shouldn't even be talking. I lived in Orile for the first 22 years of my life ( Minus the time spent studying in boarding school and my University days in Ogun), and No, we didn't earn less than $3 dollars a day, nor live in your described housing. Sure, we were not rich but we spent a lot more than the meagre $3 dollars per day and it was a 3 bedroom apartment for a family with 3 boys. So I wonder where you got your data from. I do not deny the existence of these type of accommodations but there are as more apartment buildings in Orile. Secondly, a large bulk of the people you describe here are 'immigrants' from SE, SS and the North. I'm certain for that of Ajegunle and Orile. Don't ask me how I know. I grew up in these places. The kind of 'unskilled immigrants' with no qualification whatsoever who show up in Lagos for a better life only to go and oppress the starving villagers in the East during Christmas. Lastly, I agree with you. Lagos and the entire SW is home to poor people and has a bad economy. But please, tell your people to leave. I hear Anambra is far better. Tell them to go home and enjoy the goods back home. I'm not comfortable with the generations after generations of your people living in the 'poor SW'. |
Silly, Useless and factually distorted post with the intention of creating enmity. As stupid as you are, you do not recognize that Arabic is just a language, just like English and French. It is even an official language in Israel, the birthplace of the foreign religion called Christianity. How many lands have been Islamized? Silly idiot doesn't know there are about 1000% more Christians in the core north than there are Muslims in the SS, SE. And there are far more SS, SE in the North than vice versa. The North is in Power. Let them enjoy their time. When GEJ was in power and every position went to both the SS and SE, nobody cried then. As much as I always condemn the present government, the Fulani herdsmen and many other Northern policy, it's stupid to even listen to garbage such as this. If IPOB doesn't want to be part of Nigeria, nobody is forcing them. It is constitutionally possible to renounce your citizenship. Do so and move to Cameroon, nobody cares. I have added a link to ease your application. http://www.nigeriaembassyusa.org/index.php?page=consular-services-2 |
Moety:Same thing I have been telling people everytime but they don't agree. You can only do the conversion when the money gets home. In Lyon currently, even earning €30k annual salary means you will live a basic life. Same as someone with a 80k salary in Nigeria. Earning under €20k means you are living under the poverty line. Not even with a tax rate of 30%. Don't think about owning a car or raising a family with a €20k salary in Lyon. I'm sure it's either you are homeless or sharing a room with such a salary in Paris. And yet, I see these same people flashing all over Facebook but people back home don't know. |
fidalgo19:Haha. haters Op, I use an Infinix note 2 and hot note. And I expect the note 4 to be much more better than both since is an upgrade. Perfect RAM, less charging time (mine takes about 30mins to get from 1-90%), longer usage etc. I was using hot note and when I had to go study abroad, I bought the note 2 and went with both. The note 2 since then is still my main phone and I only use the hot note sparingly. I have never had any problems with the phones and if you are looking to charge less, with a longer usage time, then it is perfect for you. Those phones had outlived those of my friends here who bought their phones in Germany. Please don't buy an unknown brand. They may look good on paper but most cannot last and always have RAM issues. I once bought one for my girlfriend on Jumia, and it started having problems 2 months in. When the screen finally got spoilt, that was the end of the phone. Because they were no replacement parts. |
I don't know if they exchanged the brains of theists or they just removed it entirely. a bird wandered into a home, probably due to your carelessness and then you called it evil. No word to describe that. |
HungerBAD:You obviously haven't seen things. A lot of women dump their kids for a sham of a 'secure life abroad'. This I know from experience. or you can even read about Nigerian women stuck in Libya, and with kids in Nigeria. Even those 'hustling' in Italy. No wonder travel agents make money in Nigeria. Though funds is also a required component, the embassy is more concerned about a justifiable purpose of visit. Even if you have billions in your account, they will reject your visa. And Yes, I once secured an European visa without proof of funds. Some men have no shame. Dump her silly ass and move on. Obviously, she has no interest in the marriage. BTW, why do matters like this get to the police station or is cheating a criminal offence? |
EvaJael:All of you mentioning me for the past couple of days, there is God o. Lol. continue with your story. Seems everyone is enjoying it. Cheers |
EzeEbira:I know. I did my undergrad in Abeokuta. But Abeokuta is not Ogun state. And even Ogun as a whole still cannot be compared to Lagos as an industrial power. But it is catching up really fast. |
biacan:Hater. Didn't you see Olumo rock in the photos? How come all is not Abeokuta? BTW, Op, Abeokuta is not the industrial capital of the Southwest. or have you removed Lagos from the West? |
PM news and beer parlour journalism. Moment I read the first paragraph, I knew it was PM news. I wonder if real news is now so scarce in Nigeria. |
Jodha:Abortion is not a mistake. it's murder. If you're not ready to get pregnant, condoms are cheap, so are pills. Use them all, I don't care. I am only concerned when you start killing babies. |
Something similar happened to me and I feel your pain. In my case, we were even cohabiting, 2yrs in at the time and I noticed signs of pregnancy in her. Went for a test and came out positive; 8weeks. I can say it remains the happiest moment of my life. The next day, I discovered my girl was moody. It was all about one stupid hungry fake pastor that told her I would abandon her with the baby not marry her in future. A 'prophesy' I still find laughable till today. Calmed her down, promised her heaven and even swore on my life. The day after, she went out to visit a friend (one who I discovered gave her abortion concoctions) while I planned to take her to my family in Lagos and get everything settled. When she got back, I told her to pack her bags and we headed for Lagos. I remember that on entering the gate of my parent's house to introduce them to my 'pregnant fiancée', I noticed blood coming out. I didn't need anyone to tell me what has happened. Confirmed it medically the next day, and ended up paying for an operation for her because it caused some medical complications. Since that day, Man or woman, friend or foe, if you are the overly religious type whose brain does not function, nor have the tenacity to think on its own without following some silly fabricated book or listening to conmen who hide under religion, I stay away from you. |
newweight:What more can I say? Sorry sir |
newweight:Lmao. Give me the tracking website you used. And the email or phone number of the person who contacted you. and I'll get back to you. |
newweight:My people will say; Aja to ba fe Sonu, koni gbo fere olode. Translation: The dog that will get lost will not hear the whistling of the hunter. I'm telling you that you are about to be scammed, you are still talking about getting a nonexistent shipment. Go ahead and pay the money. It's not as if I'm affected. |
Truth is you are about to be scammed. DHL doesn't need you to pay any fees as the receiver for any shipment to you. Pardon me, but I do believe your friend (I doubt you even know the person personally) here is trying to scam you. Either no shipment was shipped to you or the 'friend' is trying to fleece you of money. Doubt me? Drop the email or phone number you've been using to contact them and let me prove it to you. Do you even have the tracking number? You can check it on DHL's website to know if you have a pending shipment and where it is. |
dabeto:Yeah. I did. Spent the first few minutes confused before going to the information centre at Frankfurt Am Main. The lady there was just laughing at me. They dropped the luggage for me at the information centre of my intended stop. I then took the next train, and claimed my luggage there. |
Lol. That was how the same ICE train took off with two of my luggages at Frankfurt, the day I first arrived Germany. |
