obiaguna:The application was online. I sent all the required documents by email and after I got the confirmation of acceptance, I was asked to send the rest by mail. The fee was 4200€/year. |
Pamelayoung:Yes. Till February. As for those saying I should be good ambassadors, you can count on that. |
shinarambo1:Please any idea how I can get in touch. It's hard here plus the bad food (well to me). I have been feeding on bread alone. Only about 10 people speak English. |
ATERI:Lol. I'm only spending 5months here as part of my program before I move to Germany, France and Belgium. So you see, I didn't make a wrong choice. Also, because of Nairalanders like you, I was expecting to see mud houses but from what I have seen so far, Nigeria is still hundreds of years behind. I'm in love with the city but not yet with her people. |
So I started my Erasmus journey, First destination, Romania. Left Lagos yesterday night with Turkish airline with a stopover at Istanbul before finally proceeding to Cluj. Since I arrived Istanbul, that Green passport has been a curse to me. Scrutiny upon scrutiny. They never opened any bag while I was there but they opened mine. I passed through the detector at first and there was nothing. They had to tell me to go back two more times. When I wanted to board the connecting flight to Cluj, I actually delayed the flight and other passengers by up to 20minutes. They just kept asking for documents after documents to justify my visit to Romania. When I finally arrived Cluj was the worst scrutiny ever. All other passengers were already gone before I finally scaled through. I just kept laughing inside and they kept telling me they are doing their job. BTW, Is there any black living being in Cluj? From the flight till now, I haven't seen anyone that resembles me. From the airport, they just all kept looking at me like an alien from Mars. But I no send she. Enjoying the attention |
Thank you TripleKMama and powermike9999 for your answers . And also sorry for invading your thread. |
kolado:It is called investment. One month alawee for a political appointment is a good deal to me. |
powermike9999 , Please sir, I have a few questions concerning travelex. I'm travelling tomorrow and I haven't even got the needed forex. 1. Is the online boarding pass generally accepted? 2. Is there any other requirement other than flight ticket and boarding pass? 3. My flight time is 8pm. Any suggestion on when to go so as to beat the long queue? 4. Any idea if they sell euro too and at what rate? Anyone with an answer can also please contribute. |
know:Thank you. |
know:Please I'm really interested in the question by mzJennypher. 1. Do you need a boarding pass or just the ticket alone? 2. Any idea on Travelex closing time? My flight time is 8:40pm and I'm not sure if they will be there later in the evening. 3. Any idea on the rate for Euro. Please I'm really interested in your answers urgently. Any one who has an idea should please help. cc: justwise |
I remember when I went to the Romanian Embassy in Abuja for interview . I met some Nigerians and Cameroonians who were going to resume trials or applying for a visa after being signed by a Romanian Club. I saw my Uncle's age mate claiming they are 19. |
Very useless list. Romania has the fastest Internet in Europe and even more faster than the USA and your so-called number one, South Korea. With Latvia, Sweden, Holland etc before Romania, I can guarantee this list is as useless as the 'P' in Psychology. Bernie Sanders @BernieSanders Today, people living in Bucharest, Romania have access to much faster Internet than most of the US. That’s unacceptable and must change. 3:22 PM - 2 Mar 2016 https://mobile.twitter.com/BernieSanders/status/705171336381923328 |
djlawex02:Mine was 1.86 at 200L, though no CO's. Though one can argue I was helped by the 5yr duration |
Without you mentioning it, I believe it is FCE Osiele. From my experience with people who have gone through the program, it is a good one depending on your future ambitions. They are the most revered group in FCE same way a Medical student is revered in some institutions. About the NYSC, I have no idea but I seriously doubt they do. I have no idea about the certificate also but I know someone who did a similar program at Adeniran Ogunsaya College of Education. On the certificate, I believe it was issued jointly and it did show that the program belonged to EKSU but was not done at the university. Like for example, University of Ibadan ( FCE Osiele, Centre for Continuing Education). |
icehood:That's the spirit. Everything good will come. |
Icehood , have you gotten the visa? I got mine |
Please house, I start my Erasmus program in a few days time. I have already gotten my 1yr Romania visa. Universitat Kassel told me I can enter Germany with my Romania resident permit but the German embassy in Romania has tackled that and said I will have to apply for Germany visa separately. My four semesters are in Romania, Germany, France, Germany. There is a break in between my stay in Germany. Do I need to open a blocked account or just submit an account statement for both Six months visa in Germany? The embassy has refused to answer the question. |
Enicute:Cluj-Napoca. Where are you? |
It's true after all. The best way to hide secret is in a book. Despite the article stating clearly that the blood is due to the many sacrificed animals on Eid day coupled with lack of proper drainage, some people are still calling end time, Blood of Jesus etc. SMH |
Lol. You have to be patient. I'm going for an Erasmus Masters Program too and Romania is my first destination. I did my interview on July 18. Till now, my visa is still "pending for decision" despite the fact that my departure date is Sunday. |
Purpletee:Lol. It's definitely a guy behind the keyboard. |
Be smart like me. Start searching for a new gf, Stop all financial and emotional obligations to her. Please dont break up with her yet. Continue taking your share. Mine got back with her ex. Though they haven't even met yet but I still consider it cheating and the relationship unofficially over. She didn't even know I know. These days ehn, it is morning, afternoon and Night until I'm exhausted for that day and can no longer fire. |
hoodmenconcept:Bros eh, Nigeria is currently in deep shit. This aint the best time to come home. |
PatrickOkunima:They actually do. Just that most employers are skeptical of foreign degree as it means they MIGHT have to pay more. I can't study in the UK and an employer will offer me 60k/month. Btw, I wonder why people come back to Nigeria immediately after getting the degree. Stay back there and work and if they don't allow you, go to other countries. With a recognized foreign degree, you have more chances of immigrating to immigrant friendly countries like Canada and Australia etc. |
I am a graduate of animal science. (Animal Production and Health) Basically speaking, Soil science is more lucrative than Forestry. But in Nigeria, both have very limited employment opportunities though one can still argue that an SSLM grad still has more chance than that of FWM. But in developed countries where you stand a much better chance, SSLM still beat it handsdown. Both belong under the STEM degrees which are in high demand. But with SSLM, you stand a chance of delving into related careers such as Agroecology, Organic Agriculture etc. I am not sure of FWM as I have no idea. In my own case, I have changed from a career path of Animal science to one that encompasses Agroecology, Food science, Organic Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain and Sustainable Agriculture. But hey, you remind me of myself. I so much hated my course back then that I tried to leave even after 200L. But look at it now, I developed an interest later on, looked for ways to get a career out of it and boom. I wouldn't change it for anyother one right now. |
Same carlcare at Computer village, Ikeja told me it costs 12700 to fix the charging port of my infinix hot note. I was vexed that day ehn. I just walked to one of those engineers and did it for about 15% of that amount. |
It's true what they say. Weird things only happen in kenya |
