Joining the FFL doesn't mean you get to stay in France though. You are more likely to be posted to one of their overseas region like Martinique until after you complete your 5yr contract.

The main problem with the FFL is getting to France.

The application was online. I sent all the required documents by email and after I got the confirmation of acceptance, I was asked to send the rest by mail.

The fee was 4200€/year.

So I started my Erasmus journey, First destination, Romania.

Left Lagos yesterday night with Turkish airline with a stopover at Istanbul before finally proceeding to Cluj. Since I arrived Istanbul, that Green passport has been a curse to me. Scrutiny upon scrutiny.

They never opened any bag while I was there but they opened mine. I passed through the detector at first and there was nothing. They had to tell me to go back two more times.

When I wanted to board the connecting flight to Cluj, I actually delayed the flight and other passengers by up to 20minutes. They just kept asking for documents after documents to justify my visit to Romania. When I finally arrived Cluj was the worst scrutiny ever. All other passengers were already gone before I finally scaled through. I just kept laughing inside and they kept telling me they are doing their job.

BTW, Is there any black living being in Cluj? From the flight till now, I haven't seen anyone that resembles me. From the airport, they just all kept looking at me like an alien from Mars. But I no send she. Enjoying the attention

So I arrived South Africa yesterday. Flew Ethiopian airline. Flight was very good,meal on board was fair and connecting time was short. The only snag wit this airline is the repartration fee of $150 one has to part with. It is refundable after five working days if you dont have issues with the immigration at the port of entry.

You can also buy PTA at the Travelex stand at the Lagos airport. I bought a dollar @ 356. You have to get there say 5 hours before your flight to get this because of the usually long quenes.

Jonzi is a beautiful city, fantastic rail infrastructure, good road networks. Things actually works here. Our leaders are just so evil. They wont escape God's wrath.

I remember when I went to the Romanian Embassy in Abuja for interview . I met some Nigerians and Cameroonians who were going to resume trials or applying for a visa after being signed by a Romanian Club. I saw my Uncle's age mate claiming they are 19.

Romania has the fastest Internet in Europe and even more faster than the USA and your so-called number one, South Korea. With Latvia, Sweden, Holland etc before Romania, I can guarantee this list is as useless as the 'P' in Psychology.
