joyandfaith:At the point of admission, such non public schools give parents and guardian their booklet that also contains the expected dressing codes and if parents don't feel comfortable with it, they cease processing admission. A Christian female student who goes to enroll in a private Muslim school is expected to wear the Hijab like the other students and would not be accepted to be a student without wearing one. |
joyandfaith:Only Lagos State funded public schools. |
yinchar:The Hijab ruling is not binding on Lagos schools owned and managed by Christian missionaries. For example , no one can force schools managed by Reverend Sisters to allow Hijab wearing....it will certainly not happen. It is only enforceable in Lagos public schools. |
Strikethem:It is limited to public schools, can't be enforced in schools managed by Christian missionaries. |
Fisiryorh:E chop wetin big pass am. |
co787:I am imagining the trauma your toddler is going through, I hope since their return you have taken her to see paediatrician and do try to seek out a clinical child psychologist to assist her with trauma-focused treatments to help your daughter. Get your mother-in-law and her son arrested. Your daughter is not his first victim and his mother have been covering him up. He needs to be taken out of circulation and remanded somewhere he would never have contacts with minors. |
Where is your daughter now and how old is she? Is your wife still in detention? What about her mum and the brother who defiled your daughter, have you involved the police to get them arrested? |
Enemyofpeace:There are a million and one sex tapes on the internet......and the world is still existing, does that not tell you a thing. |
Truvelisback:Realistically, what is the percentage of men that are well-to-do in Nigeria, in a country where 133 million Nigerians which is almost 7 out of every 10 Nigerians live in poverty? The Nigeria National Deposit Insurance Corporation did say 99.5% of Nigerian bank account holders have below N500k in their accounts, which is an insight into the poverty level in Nigeria, even money to set up business is not even readily available!.....It is very necessary for every family not to be a single income household. |
I do prefer Mr. Victor Opatola and Mrs. Victoria Opatola to Mr and Mrs Opatola, as anyone can be Mrs Opatola. ![]() |
He didn't meet up with the price. |
Truvelisback:Lecturer fire! No one knows everything, na me even teach my Professor whey also dey also teach for University of Cambridge, wetin ogbanje mean! ![]() Oya start with the Introduction to the theory of SIMPs.... no waste time. ![]() |
Truvelisback:That is good, so you are in better position to enlighten me on being SIMPle and who knows it may inspire my dropping my present specialty in Psychology and look into doing my Doctoral, focusing on the Theory of being SIMP. ![]() Oya start lecture.....pen and paper ready. ![]() |
Truvelisback:Oh tell me more, it is seems I missed some PSY 207: Psychology of Personality lectures during my undergraduate days. ![]() |
Anything you can afford and make a meal out of. Personally, I am doing fufu and bitterleaf soup, come Christmas day. ![]() |
Truvelisback:I prefer the best from both sides that is humane. |
Na Tinubu build Festac Town, build National Theatre, Third Mainland bridge, Ikorodu road, Carter bridge etc ![]() Even the Iju water treatment plant commissioned by Lord Lugatd in 1915 was built by Tinubu. ![]() In fact, Tinubu happens to be one of the Portuguese merchants who gave the State's name, Lagos. ![]() |
Hmmm.. |
Stephen Sackur? U no well! ![]() |
Truvelisback:Things like what in the house? If you want to"maintain" your culture, don't bother leaving Nigeria. |
Truvelisback:It is no SIMP culture, both have to go out to earn. So what do you suggest men do, in order not to lose their senses in such settings? |
Truvelisback:When you hear "can your marriage survive, abroad? , e get why? ![]() Living abroad especially in the West, there is nothing like " can sometimes" . You see house chores and childcare, the man is involved 100%! I live near a primary school and I have observed that about 7 out of every 10 black immigrant parents bringing their children to school in the morning are men and most of their stories is that they did night shift at work, come home around 7a.m when the wives are about leaving for work for the day shift. Oga, oversees the children' breakfast then take them to school at past 8, comes back home to sleep for some hours, do some chores, go back to school to pick the children and get them to have lunch and do their homework, while he start preparing for work, madam returns, Oga leaves for work. |
coputa:Children are not blind to see parents who are responsible or not, worst still Oyinbo children whey no send anybody. You don't have to tell a child who sees the father continually beat the mother, have a lived experience of the father refusing to provide for the family but prefers spending outside the home for selfish pleasure, you don't need to tell a child whose father prefers to be feared by his family than to love and be loved. Children have more observational skills than adults, a man who is close to his children is less likely to be manipulated out of his children' love. |
PSY 107: Introduction to Delusion. ![]() |
Even Hitler had his beautiful reasons. OP, we know you and your likes have to rationalization that cover up as everyone cannot be fooled at the same time. It is no team play, you don't need to be a medical personnel to see what Tinubu and his campaign team have been trying to avoid....one do not have be a Neurologist to notice .the tremor of the hand. He can always get his ministers to talk if he becomes President but Nigerians need to hear from him directly, his plans if elected as President not from his aides. On what grounds would El-Rufai be talking about security.....is he the one, seeking votes to become Nigeria's President? |

IwasNeverGone:Every kid do not need their father in their lives when they have been toxic. I work with adolescents living in care and majority of them specifically instructed their social workers not to include their fathers in the lists of persons that can contact them (adolescents) physically or over the phone. Many seek out the parent that was not in picture, for some form of closure |
Truvelisback:I used to be a neighbour to a Nigerian couple with a 2 year old daughter......that mindset up there, was one of the key causes of conflict in their marriage. Oga carry im Nigerian way come UK refusing to unlearn some things and relearn, insisting cooking and other domestic chores must be done by only the wife alongside much of the childcare.....madam change am for am, how can she do 12 hrs shift at work just to come home to chores, without the husband lifting a finger. Madam decided go off work for a month, to stay back home and be full-time housewife which made Oga to look for extra 20hrs job per week to add to the main 40hrs per week he was already doing...by third week he called his wife to reconsider resuming work and they worked out how chores would not burden just one spouse. |
See as a whole presidential candidate share out questions he ought to answer like akara! He can't attempt such dodging when faced with hard interviewers like Christiane Amanpour or Stephen Sackur. ![]() |
I hope the search yields positive fruit. |
Truvelisback:See rationalization! ![]() |
