In old age, men suffer isolation more than women of the same age group as women have developed more social network than men. In their 60s and retired, women are likely more pre-occupied with the lives of their children, grandchildren, other relatives which gives them more opportunities to move around, women groups in religious set ups, their lives are more engaged and is a FACT that society tends to be softer towards women in their old age than to old men.

A woman may get widowed at 35 and left with 5 children, will raise the children on her own without remarrying, how many percentage of men whose wife died and left behind children and the man did not remarry, taking care of the children all by himself?

Whether or not the woman is richer than the man is IRRELEVANT, the innate need of EVERY MAN is to be RESPECTED and to have PEACE OF MIND, so if the woman can give him this, her wealth wouldn't cause a problem...

4. The hubby expects that now that she earns more, she should take on some responsibilities in the home, and we all know how much women hate being providers ...

Women hate "being providers"when the husband is present and feel comfortable not taking up responsibilities but demand to be highly respected but women who have emotionally accepted that the marriage is dead and they are on their own or who are widowed providing becomes a non-issue for them. Majority of those women selling in the markets, road sides, cleaning people's compounds etc are the breadwinners of their homes......ask many young ones in the Universities/Polytechnics, who is sponsoring their education.

Men don't care about your career or college degrees, which modern day are chasing about. Men want women to be feminine, submissive, fertile, easy to teach, wise and preserve their value. Most men would marry a woman that is a secondary school holder to a feminist pHD holder who thinks are career is more important than having a child.

Many women would realise they made the wrong youthful choices by the time they are 40. Where they die alone and blame Men.

Yes, they attended nursery for childcare purposes due to work and not for 'educational purposes' as they aren't allowed to teach them in nursery, they only play but kids learn through play too.

At least they left home and mixed with other kids of their age group, learning was taking place through play and that contributed in firming up their foundation as they got to also develop their social skills away from home by relating with adults and kids at the nursery.

By the way, my Master's dissertation was focused around play.

My children started school at 4-5 years old because that's the mandatory age to start school in the UK, not younger. It does not affect their future, it means they're mature and ready to absorb the learning at that age.

Before your children started school, I guess you had them enrolled in childcare?
