Which Neuropsychiatric hospital was he earlier treated in? Since you mentioned Enugu, the Federal Neuropsychiatric hospital in New Haven may be a better option. I work in one and naturally, patients resist being brought in, so their families either have them handcuffed/tied or drugged (under the instructions of a doctor) and they wake up in the hospital ward, once they wake up and realizes they are now in the psychiatric ward, they become aggressive, we know what to do to get them calm. Make prior arrangement of where he would be admitted into and ask their suggestions on how to get him to be physically there, then 2/3 of your male relatives and a female relative he is very comfortable with, should go get him. His business in Minna should be closed down, if he must start something else later, it should be very close to where his family is and can very easily check up on him. During his earlier hospitalization, was psychotherapy offered him and did your family attend family therapy sessions there at the hospital? Most psychotropic medications are life-long as part of the management of the disorder(s) and NEVER again should he discontinue his medication because your family seeks spiritual intervention. |
lilsweet:It is good you got FIDA involved and no matter how long, he will get served. At least the court would give him the chance to explain why he is convinced that he and his second baby mama are in better position to have sole custody of your daughter. |
jasman1:There is no bastard in this life, everyone has a father rather it is a matter of acknowledgement and taking up responsibilities. You choose to ignore where she wrote the baby daddy already has another baby with another baby mama, you are very sure.....how small minded! |
Freestainworld:Mothers are primary caregivers, it is not about making it known that should anything happen to the child he would be held responsible. The mother of the minor has more custodial right in the present circumstance, let her approach the family court and a legally binding agreement would be reached on how their daughter would spend time between both parents. |
You are better off looking for a busy open space to fry akara/yam/potatoes/plantain than looking for who would loan you the N100k to pay the owner of an uncompleted building. You don't NEED a shop right now! |
Freestainworld:The father of the child has to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the other woman who he is living with and also has a child with is a better caregiver to the OP's child than the child's biological mother. |
lilsweet:Which state was she born in? Do you have a copy of her birth certificate? |
hafsatadebisi:You are delusional. ![]() |
hafsatadebisi:Today is World Mental Health Day, pause to reassess the direction your life is taking as in self delusion, your mind convinces you that whatever tales you can weave others should see it as the truth. And by the way when did you "change" tribe to bear Nwanze? |
Observing how it would pan out, eventually. |
BigJoe19:As you are looking for something incriminating to pin on her, she will also be doing the same! So na ojoro cancel ojoro ![]() I put in hours weekly in a child protection department, witnessing dramas and scheming minds of both parents! ![]() |
"When a Priest does not live out his vocation faithfully, he suffers consequences" He committed a canonical crime, defrocking is the next step. |
BigJoe19:Take the child from the mother, abeg which Nigerian court would grant you full custody? |
You have an obligation not to walk away from your daughter irrespective of the toxic relationship you have with the mother of your child or is your name not on her birth certificate? Make sure you regularly send money for her upkeeps through bank transfers, for the sake of documentation. |
missoredipe:Mine will be Cambridge Campus. |
Good development. |

Go to the social welfare office in your state, your wife and son would be invited. |
This reminds me of an incident years ago The guy causing problem for his aged parents happened to the last born of 10 children (8 males and 2 females). Their aged parents have retired back to the village as their children all grown up and have left home with only their last born living with them. The first son is a lecturer in Canada, the second son who is the third child happens to be a Catholic Priest based in Italy, someone who was ordained a Priest in Rome when their last born (the one always threatening the peace of their parents was still in Primary 5). The last born refused to be useful to himself, even at age 22 he had severally sold the tools bought for him to use to learn at a vocational institute, prefer to hang out with notorious boys using hard drugs and comes home in the evenings to harass their mother for food and money, insulting their sick father who was already on a wheelchair. Despite talks by his older siblings, he refused to change until the Reverend Father flew in from Rome purposely for him, as early as 5a.m he arrived their parents' home in the village with 2 policemen unannounced, kicked the brother up from sleep and had him handcuffed and bundled into the car, drove off to Federal Neuropyschiatric Hospital Enugu and had the brother admitted there and was to be there for 5 months until he returns back to Nigeria for his annual leave and instructed that no one visits him while there because he knew their mother's heart would soften and would want to see her last born. The Priest said how can he be the Parish Priest of a Parish in Esquilino, one of the most dangerous neighbourhoods in Rome and can not deal with the wannabe gangster of a younger brother. He became so calm after he was discharged! ![]() |
Galaticos444:Though am not in Nigeria but I believe we locally have professionals who are skilled in it- trauma psychologist. |
Glad she came out alive. Hope she gets access to Trauma-Focused Therapy. |
She is accomplished. |
Ibromoney:13 hours is too long to be seated inside JKIA but you can wait it out to save cost. Though there is Four Points by Sheraton within the airport grounds. |
Why is her corpse still in the mortuary, 4 months after her death or is the mortuary management not charging for it? |
Imagining how their 4 children, the eldest being 11 years old sees their father as he would look more like a grandfather to them. |
Kingp91:Let me check my inbox now. |
Sad. |
Mkelv0106:Why bring in Chacha's mental health struggle into this? |
A grandmother.....sighs. |
"Brain fog involves feelings of confusion and disorientation. Brain fog can make a person feel as if the processes of thinking, understanding, and remembering are not working as they should. It can affect their: memory, including the ability to store and recall information" |
utaraji:Why a return ticket, planning on visiting Nigeria soon? |
Sighs..... |
