You dey mind them. Idleness is a serious disease.
While it is pertinent to tackle rape as it deserves, but then they seem not have anything serious doing.
Imagine that many key urgent aspects of governance as listed above and more never ever get such urgent attention they deserve.
They just want to be seen to be doing something.

Another way to prove Black Lives matter is by not bleaching your skin. Many Blacks spend more money bleaching (toning is BLEACHING) than they do on books. If a light skinned girl tells you her baby pictures were destroyed in fire, just do the math!.
Very much on Point!
Desire to bleach/tone is born out of nothing but Inferiority Complex, Lack of Confidence and the likes.

Please I need advice. I lost my Dad over 2 months now and he hasn't been buried due to the pandemic. My Uncle's are all in Lagos and can't come back.

So after the lockdown was over we decided to go to the village.. On getting I discovered that his shop was open and all the money going into the first Uncle (first son) account.. So I called my uncle because he told me it was locked and he was saying did he need my permission before to open the shop and i decided to just control myself because i like peace and i decided to go to the house in the village...

On getting there I called my uncle and he told me the keys are with them in Lagos ... That it was waybilled and i said ok and went back with my brother and sister.

Fast forward today... I got a call from someone in the village that my Dad's burial death has been fixed and i was wowed because as the first son i haven't been told yet by my uncle's. So right now i am about acting but i need advice.
Whatever you do, let wisdom be the principal thing.

kingi777:
Good day Nairalanders. Since March this year, Covid-19 has been the major issue in Nigeria as it led to the shutingdown of the economy.

Many people don't believe the existence. My dear people, I was having a double opinion about the existence too. For the first time, I'm beginning to believe the pandemic does exist. My friend who was a Medical Laboratory Scientist with Kaduna State Ministry of Health and the head of the laboratory unit, Gwantu General Hospital was down with malaria like symptoms and treated himself for several days with no improvement.

Though he was a high blood pressure patient. The fever increased and symptoms of Covid-19 started manifesting. He was taken to Kafanchan Gen Hospital but no Doctor agreed to come close to him when they saw his critical condition. He was advised to check into the isolation centre but when they got there, there was nothing on ground as everywhere was dirty with no facility. The family was advised to take him to Kaduna isolation centre but he gave up the ghost as he was under distress all these while.

His samples were taken and it came out positive for Covid-19. His corpse is deposited at Kafanchan Gen Hospital at the moment. The people that were running up and down to save his life were helpless as they watched him dying. Their samples had been collected yesterday, taken to Kaduna today and are awaiting the outcome of the results.

The question they are asking is: why is government saying they have spent huge sum of money with nothing to show for it especially in other parts of the state/country? Should preparation for Covid-19 management be made only in the state capitals? What about towns that are very far from the isolation centres in the state capitals? Government should do something to accommodate the people by creating and equipping more centres in the hinter lands.

Corona virus (Covid-19) is real!
Do you know anybody anywhere in Nigeria who has died as a result of Covid-19?
This is true the Nigerian situation, not all the official lies.
If you ever have need for such help, you will find out that you are on your own.
What you hear govt official say they have is totally different what you will meet on ground in real life.
Why should they even take the commoners' health/welfare that serious?

yes other means not checking her Facebook, that’s very creepy . This is not okay. If it were to be a civilized country , she would sue he’s ass, it’s a company phone , he didn’t just glance , he went in deep and started clicking , that’s total bull
The gravity of threat to her life which stems from her "escapades" supercedes the privacy invasion angle.
If things were to be done on such strict tone/note, the boss will not only see those posts without letting anyone know, but also quietly ease her out of his business without so much noise.
Besides, by the time she was careless enough to have left her account open in such a public (the company's) phone she already indirectly gave others (iincluding her boss) access to her private posts/chats on her account. I also want to believe the boss seeing those posts was not what he planned for, it just happened. On the creepy comment, many do not even know so much of their private info is already out there in the open, on the net.

your head dey there jare. All this privacy invasion nonsense that some people are shouting is thrash... The girl using her boss phone to do something private is wrong in the first place. If some took your phone without your knowledge n log in to fb. Then u pickup the phone n use it to log in to fb n u noticed that there is something different it is normal for one to want to look in to the inbox of the person who used your phone. For all we know the person maybe planning something against you. If it was her phone that the boas took n then check her fb then he has gone past his boundaries
I think they may not have read through the whole length of the post.

he actually went into her Facebook n started veiwing messages and clicking on stuffs , u all disgusting thinking it’s okay, or even thinking he has a right to tell her shit
I think it is a phone he bought and provided for the business.
She should not have logged into her facebook account with the phone.
Besides, anything you do/put on any social media platform is as good as being made public already.
Do not forget employers have a way to do background checks and can find out some of these things via other means.

OritaIbadan:
I employed this 21years old lady last year as a sales rep. At resumption to work she appeard so decent and godly always With her Bible and Sunday school manual. I was really impressed by her spiritual and respectful nature. This made me treat her different from others. I buy her things and sometimes gives her money and always discuss her good life style with my wife. But what amazed me was that my wife was so indifferent about her each time I discuss her my wife will quickly change the topic. I thought, well woman with their naughty behavior towards other women.

Fast forward to June first this year her phone was stolen and I have a phone in office that I allow them access to incase their phone is off I can easily reach them through it. This faithful day, I tried to access my Facebook account using the office phone and found out that this same lady had used it but forget to logout. Well, I knew it was wrong to check her inbox but all the same I did.

After checking her inbox I couldn't sleep all night. I found out that she is having unprotected sex with 5 guys each guy per Sunday and she just did an abortion March this year the very day she told me that she was sick and can't make it to work and she wasn't sure who among the guys that impregnated her. I also found out that she had missed her period again and trying to hang it on one of the boys. The amazing thing is that non of these guys suspects her, they all believe she is a faithful girl friend.

I have thought of relieving her of her job, but my wife is asking me what should I give as reasons. But the truth is that I had never winessed such a wayward life before. If I pretend as though I know nothing she will eventually commit another abortion and continue with such life which is very dangerous at her age. What if she is my own daughter?

Please I want the mode to push this to the front page. I want to seek others opnion about it
You should not sack because of that, but instead help bring her out of her wayward ways through counselling, and so on.
It might be for a good reason, that you knew so you can be instrumental to getting her out that dangerous lifestyle.
You should play a guardian role of some sort. You can only give up if you really try and she still chooses to continue.
Don't be surprised she might already be tired of her ways but has no one to stir her out of it.
If she her job is not suffering as a result, and she is meeting up with her duties, it should not be a basis to sack her yet (except it is too much for you to tolerate/bear. I know your staff personal profile could matter so much these).
You can even involve your wife if she is understanding enough, or tell a mature elderly woman who you trust to work together with you on this.
In summary, please give her a chance to change.

PoliticsRe: Did You Know That Obasanjo Hosted 3 American Presidents? (Throwback Photos) by mindtricks:
Amotolongbo:
It seems like all the US Presidents on official visit to Nigeria were all hosted by Obasanjo.

Obasanjo is a very diplomatic man of international acceptance and recognition, and very proactive. He knows how to fight for us outside Nigeria (not mentioning Bakassi Peninsula anyway).
I can remember how he was globetrotting when he became the president in 1999 and appealing to the Nigerians in diaspora, giving them the hope of better life at home.

Nigerians were not treated badly, killed and victimized outside our shores when he was the president like how it is nowadays.
In the kingdom of blind, one-eyed man is king.
Poor leadership of today raises OBJ's profile higher.
Though he too was a disappointment too.
