NewDelhi: I'm a big fan of cool names, like gosh when I was in the university, I had a course mate and friend whose surname was Fowler. Like damn I always loved the name. When it comes to names, I really love cool names. Another dude was bearing Henry Lawanson.
But straight to the topic, why do people from Plateau State , Nigeria bear weird names? It might look funny to a stranger but boy I think those names are so cool. If I was to go back in time to my ancestors and naming ceremony, I'd love a name from Plateau State. They bear names like Luyong, gomel, xiyang, giang, botmang, lalong, gomel, gotep, walkit, dikop, kaneng, bature, kamshinen, nimdam, manzwet, rotdimwa, bongdul. You are not very smart ,I m afraid. No name is weird |

Romance › Re: My Sister Is A Disgrace: See How She Has Gone Ahead To Bring Shame To My Family by missjekyll: 4:03pm On Jan 08, 2021 |
Foxie: …she said she saw my sister with our tenant, talking and flirting really close.
This tenant of ours is a chronic womanizer. The wife separated from him because of his womanizing. The wife is such a sweetheart…they have 3 children. My wife and myself have been praying for their marriage. We have personally counselled the man to stop all these behaviors and he says he will but he keeps doing it but he now hides it from us.
For us, to find my sister talking to this man, we were worried. She denied anything was happening with them. But days later, my wife said that my sister has been going to this tenant’s flat. Before we knew it, my sister started going there daily….soon as we left for work, she would go to his flat and spend the entire day. I was livid with anger.
I warned her to stop this rubbish or I send her packing. I explained to her that the man’s wife is a friend to us and we are hoping for a reconciliation for them..my sister said she is not the one that chased the woman away …so its not her business….Do you know my sister moved out of our house and moved into this man’s flat? I was so angry…I told my parents…I called my people and told them I had washed my hands over this girl. I called my tenant and he refused to pick my calls.
Why must my sister always find men who are involved to be with…men who will only take advantage of her and dump her…my sister had the audacity to say that if we want her happiness we should stay out of this….is this the only man in the world? Is she cursed or what?
The only thing I can do is give the guy a quit notice but his rent is not due until September. My own sister has decided to disgrace me. I am even a Deacon. She lives in his flat day and night. She has sent message to my folks that the she and the tenant are in love and everyone should back off cos she is an adult….
How do I explain this to this man’s wife? Will it not look like I planted my sister to come and take away her husband? The woman even sent us happy new year message. I am praying she does not hear about my sister before we can do anything about this situation.
The next thing am thinking is…maybe I should call the police and drag this girl out and give her the beating of her life. What kind of rubbish is this? Please advise me…cos before this girl will disgrace me and my family…I will get police to drag her out and beat the living daylight out of her.
Anonymous Give the tenant a quit notice. They can take their crap elsewhere. You can only advice your sister but some people do not just learn from others,it has to happen to them. Let her be but leave your door and heart open. they no de sell sibling for market o. |

Chreze: Hi,
Adding to what GuyfromHr said, I advice you get an Airbnb apartment for one month or less (depending on your believe). The price is almost same as what you will pay for renting an apartment with the bills added. So it’s a win win situation. I used this option but got for 15nights as I have other plans and ways to go about the house hunting thing.
Airbnb is an American company so it means general charges are in dollars, I advice you open a dom account (if you don’t have one), then get PTA in few dollars to deposit in the dom account, this way you can pay for the Airbnb apartment with the dorm account with very little charge from your bank. Since the company is an American company, there will be no conversion charge, just transfer/payment charge. With this option you get extra dollars in your dorm account, should there be need to extend your Airbnb stay as a result of delay in getting an apartment.
For safety and security, i think it may not be a good idea to stay with someone this times. Not just for yourself and family, but for the person you will stay with too. I think the Airbnb is the only best option at the moment considering everything happening right now. Then the next best option will be arranging extra 3 or 6months for fast securing of accommodation. That’s lot of money, but I think that’s the best at the moment and it will help you secure accommodation faster.
Note: if you go with the dorm account thing, don’t use the card from your dorm account to buy things or withdraw cash from the atm machine o, if you try this, you will forever hate Nigeria and Nigerian banks. Them go use scissors cut you with charges (starting from conversion from dollar to pounds, to charges for card atm usage or pos usage). Only use the card as your last option in UK and if it’s gonna save your life. Other than that, you go vex well well if u use am for Uk oooo.
Best of luck to you and Fam. if you change your location to uk,you get prices in pounds. you will need a card and a uk address to verify your account though before booking is allowed |

Most Buses are always busy and mind you, Buggy users get on buses mostly and also you need to consider if any Wheelchair users will be getting on the bus at any stop because they will need to get you off from the bus. On train, you need to follow the cycle policy by not travelling with unfolded bikes during peak hours. never ever seen a bicycle on a bus. use the train instead |

One of you lovely people suggested old kent road for lipsmacking fingerlicking food in london.
I am here to offer a review. Thank you so much for suggesting this. I was bone tired and very home sick and this was exactly what I needed.
With that said, if your eyes are bigger than your belly like me,it can quickly add up to a nice big bill.
I also noticed I had diarrhoea every day. on further I investigation I discovered that they all were rated 3 by Food standards. I was concerned but wetin I go do.
Efo riro and jellof rice 10/10. Suya, isi ewu, onugbu soup 2/10 no matter who i ordered from.
If I had this to do over, maybe I would have done a more diligent fact finding. probably wouldn't have ordered off just eat. I probably wouldn't be doing this again as it was a bittersweet experience for me. |
Health › Re: What Is The Relationship Between Blocked Fallopian Tubes And Hydrosalpinx by missjekyll: 11:04am On Dec 05, 2020 |
linlin998z: Hydrosalpinx and blocked fallopian tubes are both chronic tubal inflammation, because both of them may lead to infertility, so some people think they belong to the same disease, but they are fundamentally different.
Hydrosalpinx is a common type of chronic tubal inflammation. After tubal inflammation, or because of adhesion atresia, secretion of mucosal cells accumulates in the lumen, or because of tubal inflammation, isthmus and umbrella end adhesion occurs, resulting in tubal empyema after blockage.
When the pus cells in the lumen are absorbed, they eventually become water samples. Liquids, as well as other liquids, are absorbed, leaving an empty shell, which shows hydrocephalus as an imaging modality.
The blocked fallopian tube is because inflammation spreads upward through the endometrium, it first causes inflammatory changes of the oviduct mucosa, and the epithelium of the oviduct degenerates or falls off in patches, resulting in adhesion of the oviduct mucosa, followed by atresia of the oviduct lumen or umbrella.
The main symptoms of hydrosalpinx are increased vaginal secretions, water-like leucorrhea, etc. Other symptoms often have chronic pelvic inflammation, such as pain on one or both sides of the lower abdomen, falling, excessive secretions, low back pain, etc.
Fallopian tube hydrosalpinx not only causes infection, endometrial damage but also causes blocked fallopian tubes and infertility in severe cases. It can also induce ectopic pregnancy. Natural abortion, induced labor, drug abortion, unclean sexual intercourse, pelvic infection, and so on can lead to the occurrence of the disease. Hydrosalpinx mostly occurs in women with menstruation and sexual activity.
The leading cause of blocked fallopian tubes is female infertility, accounting for 25% to 35% of female infertility. The leading cause of tubal injury is pelvic inflammatory disease. The incidence of secondary blocked fallopian tubes is directly related to the impact of PID. The main clinical symptoms are infertility, accompanied by lower abdominal pain, low back pain, secretion, sexual torture, and so on.
The reproductive capacity after fallopian tube reconstruction depends on the location and extent of fallopian tube injury. Women with extensive fallopian tube injury are less likely to become pregnant, and IVF can improve their pregnancy rate.
The causes of blocked fallopian tubes are as follows.
Infection of most fallopian tube diseases is secondary to an infection, especially pelvic inflammatory diseases. Other possible causes of contamination include appendix perforation, post-abortion infection, or post-operative complications.
Tissue trauma caused by inflammation and adhesion surgery can also lead to pre-inflammation or even adhesion. The incidence of adhesion after surgery is about 75%. Laparoscopy can not prevent the occurrence of adhesion sequelae.
Generally speaking, hydrosalpinx and blocked fallopian tubes can exist at the same time, but this does not mean that there will be hydrosalpinx and tubal obstruction together; at the same time, hydrosalpinx will lead to blocked fallopian tubes, there is still a specific relationship between the two. Hydrosalpinx and blocked fallopian tubes are associated with chronic tubal inflammation.
Therefore, drugs with complete blood circulation can be used to treat hydrosalpinx and blocked fallopian tubes or one of them. The herbal medicine Fuyan Pill has a good effect on treating both hydrosalpinx and blocked fallopian tube because of its extensive bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effects, while producing no side effects. If you want to consult relative questions about these problems, you can send e-mail to herbalistlee@yahoo.com You are a liar. the cells in the fallopian tubes are very delicate and need to be in order to execute their function. A blocked fallopian tube or one with hydrosalpinx cannot function. You can still conceive through ivf. |
