Kriss216:The question is - is it an igbo man that will defeat a yoruba Candidate? Ask yourself. ![]() |
Elxandre:You didn't add those that are directly or indirectly involved in corrupt practices, yet claim it's God favor that helped them. |
PrinceOfLagos:You overrated yourself sha. I'm sure you can't even speak for your nuclear family, not to talk of a whole North, you most likely have zero stake in. I am even sure you're from the yeast. |
What's it with the unproductive stories of this guy getting to the fp every now and then? Plenty stories wey dey reasonable dey, na stupid stories like this one mods go dey push come fp. How does Zubby or whatever his name is help the average nairalander? More like the guy is bribing the mods. |

cktheluckyman:ANPP/CPC were a bloc. ACN was another bloc. There was also the n-Pdp block. I'm not talking of non-influential elements that took advantage of belonging to either bloc to join the frame. Again what's onu's electoral value even in his LGA? Ngige was a nobody in ACN - his people already rejected him, when BAT gave him succor in his party. Or are you saying there were also no northerner in ACN as at the time? And based on the bolded, again does igbos measure up to Yorubas in anything? Is it in terms of numbers, or political sense? Why the hate? Why not pressurize pdp to give an igbo ticket while apc give its ticket to a yoruba man since according to una, apc is an Ewedu-aboki party? Then, let's see which tribe really dwells on the so-called imaginary numbers in a free and fair election. |
cktheluckyman:ANPP was CPC Oga. APGA was literally non-existent in the scope of things during the formation. And who's ogbonnaya onu is the scheme of things? Which bloc did he control outside of his ward? Does he even control his LGA? The same Yorubas that you claim don't have the numbers brought PMB in after three failed trials. So yeah, the number is something. |
cktheluckyman:Na mumu you be. Buhari's presidency was a brain child of ANPP and ACN. ANPP don chop, na ACN remain. Learn with that fact bro. |
cktheluckyman:Stop being foolish Oga. North already reaped - and that brought about PMB. It was a union between West and the North, so how's asking for West's own share of the bounty greediness? Your problem is your foolish leaders in Igboland who are blinded by una genetic hate that is and will continue to cost your tribe the presidency. |
cktheluckyman:What's your definition of greediness? Reaping where you sow? |
cktheluckyman:You will election by playing local politics. You can argue all you want, but we all know yorubas play the best politics in the whole of South. |
cktheluckyman:If the SW doesn't have the number, tell us the southern part that does. At least the last time I checked, Yorubas are the second largest tribe in Nigeria. And your analogy of power is taken and not given, is best explained to an igbo man who feels he deserves APC presidential ticket by simply asking for it from his abode in Igboland. |
cktheluckyman:You people don't get it at all. It's not about Tinubu winning, it's about reward for hard work and loyalty. He almost singlehandedly brought in PMB into power despite so much animosity from the ruling class back then, so now that PMB's tenure is going to an end, the decision of who to replace him should be largely his to make. Whether he gets into power or not, is Nigerians' to decide. But politically o, he has worked hard for it and must reap it. |
bigfish3k:It's on regional basis for each party. NW has had its share in both pdp and apc. It's time for SW to have its own share in APC, having had it in PDP. SE should ask for its share in PDP since NW/SW/SS had done so. |
humilitypays:Hhaaa. Igbos dont do ritualism at all? ![]() |
humilitypays:The difference is that every tribe is guilty of ritualism, while only one tribe has monopolize drug-related crimes. |
macolino:LOL, una still believe in 2023 Igbo presidency abi? |
QuintessentialW:Shut up Oga! The older generation that didn't run wild and behave with impunity, where did they lead the country? Hypocrites. |
JovialJune:Shut the Bleep up! Imagine you as a parent, having your child cursed for simple mistakes by a so-called pastor - same school you're paying millions to for your child's education. The problem with many Nigerians is that we're to blinded by stupidity all in the name of respect. When have you ever heard a pastor in a developed country laying a curse on his followers? Slaves! |
DestroyEvil:Please o. On what basis is he the best governor ever? He's not even a top 3 governor in Oyo State since 1999 yet. |
futuremoma34:Utopia! ![]() |
henryobinna:I would have actually insulted the hell out of you, but let me act like you are too dumb to understand what minority worshippers implies. |
hashtagged:Stop lumping every one together with your dumb "we" and "you Muslims." Are igbo Christians tolerant to the few Muslim igbos? The same stupid excuse that Igbos give that Islam is alien to their region/tradition is the same basis for the average northerner's hostility towards non-Muslims. It's only obvious because there are less number of Muslims (igbos and non-igbos) residing in the East compared to the number of Christians residing in the north. In fact, it can be inferred from the larger number of non-indigenes and non-Muslims living in the north compared to the east, that north is far more welcoming to "strangers" than the east.. That aside, have you heard of any major religious violence in SWest? |
BanevsJoker:Is this a joke? The same Nigerian Christians that would do anything to force their religion down your throat through forceful/loud evangelism, false alarms (Islamization)? The only group in Nigeria that has a semblance of tolerance is yoruba - and that's largely due to the strong interactions between worshippers from the two major tribes over time. The other two tribes are intolerant to minority worshippers . |
Chisaedhor:You said more than this against Buhari, we all know where it ended. You're inconsequential. |
Leo588:Oshe. Personal Assistant to Comrade Deji! |
masterP042:Okay sir - while you're at your carrying placards to protest, please kindly remember those impoverished hoodlums that are always ready to take advantage of your "peaceful protests." Best of luck. |
masterP042:Who's asking you to keep quiet? Rather, if you want to fight, apply tact. No one, not in history, fight a democratically elected government and win through brash approach. If you feel your life is not too valuable to be sacrificed for the nation, think about your loved ones whose lifes depend on yours. I'm not against the call for good governance, we are all victims of bad governance, but tact rather than brash approaches would bring us the desired changes slowly and steadily. Don't die thinking the nation will remember you as a lost hero. More famous heroes have died in vain since independence. |
OTayobami:Bye please. You have comprehension issues and I am not the ideal person to help you on that. Go and fight the government, hopefully you will win and entrench the desired change. Best of luck. |
OTayobami:Chaii.. Seems you have comprehension issues. Read the comment you quoted again. I vividly stated that Nigerians aren't organized to differentiate between real protesters and hoodlums - not even in a protest that was all about police operations. Protesting against police, despite the need, is a perfect avenue for hoodlums to take over and they expectedly did when the protest was prolonging too much than necessary. You remember the end results right? Until we all understand that brash approaches aren't necessarily the best approach to issues, we will still be here fighting the same basic problem over and over again. |
OTayobami:What has the previous round of protests (since forever in the country) achieved? Have you lost a loved one before to issues that could have been avoided? If you have answers to those two questions, then you can easily enlighten yourself. Btw, what right are being trampled upon? We asked for Sars to be disbanded, it has been done. Policemen lost their lives as much as innocent protesters. A judicial panel is also currently sitting on issues that arose from the protests. If you think anarchy (anarchy because the average Nigerian is never organized to conduct a long-term organized protest) is the best way to fight a government in power, then best of luck in your attempts. |
