It is not up to three months after a peace agreement brokered in Zamfara between bandits and the state government, some gunmen on Sunday killed 14 persons and left 10 with gunshot injuries in Karaye village in Gummi Local Government Area.

The attack is considered as the first major breach of agreement between the state government and the bandits was confirmed on Monday by the Zamfara Police Command.

A statement issued by the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Muhammad Shehu, said the attack occurred on Sunday.

Shehu said that on the 3rd of November, some members of a local vigilante known as “Yan sakai a Hausa dominated group in Bardoki village, attacked and killed nine Fulanis under the suspicion that they were bandits.

Shehu said the command arrested 11 members of the vigilante group suspected of actively participating in the killing of the Fulanis.

He stated, “The incident is being investigated by the State CID Gusau and all the suspects will be charged to court for prosecution in order to serve as deterrent to others.

"But the reprisal attack is what I don't understand" He adde.

“However, combined teams attached to Operation Puff Adder, men of Operation Hadarin-Daji and vigilantes led by the DPO Gummi mobilised to the scene and embarked on extensive bush combing with a view to trailing and arresting the perpetrators.

“Corpses and injured victims were conveyed to the General Hospital Gummi for autopsy and treatment."

The Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari congratulates Mr. Yahaya Bello on his reelection as the Kogi State governor for the second term.

He made this know on his Twitter page.

The Kogi State governorship election was held on Saturday the 16th of November 2019 along with the rerun of the Kogi West Senatorial election.

The controversial ex Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani Kayode popularly known as FFK took to Twitter earlier today the 5th November 2019 to accuse the Saudi Arabia as the major sponsor of the Boko Haram.

It is unclear why he had to make such claim.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, the Nigerian authorities said that it will soon embark on operation show your Identity Card in the bid to fish out terrorists who may have slipped through the borders into Nigeria to cause problems.

There was a huge turnout of supporters at the PDP campaign ground yesterday in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi state. Some supporters had to climb fences and even balconies of high buildings to be able to catch glimpse of what was happening.

the hosting package and domain might be in the Grace period (most hosting company gives this after expiration). if the guy still insists on being paid for the domain.... dot com domains don't cost more than $10, pay him and have him transfer your domain to the new hosting company, or you forget about the domain and buy another one with your new hosting company.

PS: he shouldn't point the domain to your new hosting company server, he ll still have all control over the domain and this your problem will only be part 1

Renewal is of two different types.
If you renew your domain name and refuse renew your hosting, your account remains suspended.

This is not encouraging. The guy kept your website alive all the while. No downtime or errors.

It means he's good. Hosting renewal is different from domain renewal. Apart from that, he buys data always to either back it up or upgrade the CMS, plugins, extensions or components.

It is not easy. I don't know how much he charges you but it's best you pay him and then take control of your website and move to another hosting next year.

But note that your prospective hosting platform renewal charges will increase as the year goes by.
