Nigerians in UK has occupied the Nigerian Embassy in London to demand for the release of Mr. Sowore.

Mr. Sowore was last week, rearrested by the DSS while in court.
A federal high court had earlier issued an order for the immediate release of Sowore. Even though the Nigerian government complied, they would later disobey the court order to rearrest Sowore during a court proceeding in Abuja.

Despite the general election going on in UK today, Nigerians in their large numbers defied all odds to stage a protest at the Nigerian Embassy demanding the release of the embattled journalist.

Despite the continued border closure by the Nigerian government, president Buhari today said that African nationals would no longer need visa to enter Nigeria.

Buhari said this in Egypt at the ongoing Aswan Forum, according to Ambassador Ahmed Awad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

Earlier this year, the Nigerian government blamed killer herdsmen from Chad, Libya, Niger Republic and other African countries for the incessant killings in the Nigerian hinterlands especially Kogi, Benue, Enugu, Anambra, Ekiti, Ogun and Ebonyi state.

Awad, who was at the Aswan Forum in a tweet said that starting from January 2020, all Africans will be able to arrive in Nigeria without visa.

He said, “I wish to profoundly commend President @MBuhari of #Nigeria who just announced at the Aswan Forum complete visa exemption for all Africans.

"Starting January 2020, Africans will be able to arrive in Nigeria without visas.

"It’s such an exemplary decision. Thanks your Excellency."

The residents in and around the popular Area 3 junction, this morning woke up to a very gory site of a mutilated and severed body parts of a young lady dumped in a gutter.

The identity of the lady is unknown as at press time.

The area, according to some person who did not want their names in print, is a hot-spot"one chance robbers".

"Many people have fallen into the hands of these notorious robbers who pretends to be taxi drivers and their passengers" - an onlooker said.

Policemen from the Area one division, Garki were later seen evacuating the remains of the young lady.
