chingle5:CSS is not a programming language it's a "description" ot stylesheet language. You use it to describe the properties of the elements in you HTML document. HTML itself isn't also regarded as a programming language but rather as a Markup Language. From the technologies you're learning, it seems you want to be a web developer. You'd still have to learn JavaScript and understand how the DOM work. It'll take time to learn all these to the point of being proficient enough to demand money for your work, be patient. |
fergusen:Yes, but that can be mitigated if you enable VBV for Visa and Mastercard SecureCode for MasterCard. This stops all unauthorized use of your card. |
Samysearch:No you can't have literate uneducated people, I'd assume you meant it as a figure of speech. Literacy isn't just about reading and writing, for a person to be considered literate that person commands some form of intellectual intelligence . Even a monkey can be trained to read and write. |
Balderdash, even an illiterate will understand what is going on here. So the IPPIS system is clearly not perfect since its faults are still being pointed out. And you can't use the UTAS because it would takes 8 weeks to test. I wonder what century we're in, throwing all this terminilogies just to confuse the masses. |
When life throws a fire at you, make some charcoal. |
Acidosis:A pitch, not a lecture. You're right, her team didn't win. Maybe you're right, maybe she deserves to get the appointment, maybe I should be happy with her. But this just shows why we can't progress as a nation when merit take a backseat when it comes to appointments and positions. I have no ill-feeling towards her (not like she would care, or like she knows me), but this just feels wrong. |
Acidosis: "Seyi stood out with this demonstrated knowledge of Nigerian healthcare outcomes and the strong case he made for HUWE implementation."Above is an excerpt from an article on how Seyi was chosen. He demonstrated his knowledge on healthcare. I wonder how the BBN personality demonstrated her knowledge of the girl child. Oh well, I may never know, it all happened behind closed doors. |
obiekunie2:I was just searching for this comment. The speed at which this epistles are typed is unreal, except if they're machines. |
Acidosis:On the strength of being in the Big Brother House? |
Mitsurugi:Don't mind them. If they know the amount of reading these guys do. Knowledge is what keeps them in the top 1%. They didn't drop out because they were dumb, they had good grades. |
wirinet:Are you serious? This was a girl that was shot because she chose to go to school and get an education, that is why she is the UN ambassador for Girl Child Education. She wasn't some meat on BBN. Learn to have points before arguing. |
lahizak:Gbam!!! |
pacespot:One thing they don't lack is education. Investors are avid readers. |
wirinet:Pitiful. The job title is Special Adviser on Girl Child Development. Yes the first class "moral girl" has qualities worthy of emulation. It would have empowered the girl child to know that if she just works hard enough she would be celebrated. That she doesn't have to slut around on TV to "make it". Tell me what the BBN star has to offer as a role model. |
pacespot:Get your facts right. China has a COMPULSORY 9 year education programme. Education is very important. Many of the inventions and quality of life you enjoy wouldn't be possible without knowledge gotten from education. |
IamD18:So the graduate slept her way through university and law school. How is the Special Adviser role a political position. This girl clearly has the qualifications but no let pick someone from a reality show that teaches crass morals to be an adviser on the GIRL CHILD and also a model to same. People like you are the problem with Nigeria, dimwits everywhere. You begin to wonder whom most likely slept with who. |
LG G7 in perfect condition needed. Quote me with your price. |
Misplaced priorities. I wish they were this zealous in fighting insecurity and maltreatment of Nigerians by law enforcement agents. |
I think the Government should allow the lecturers their right to self determination, moreso the Act backs this right. I don't understand why they are hellbent on the choice of platforms. Who stands to gain one would wonder. |
Impressive. I would be scared of the water though. |
AdaNri1:My thoughts exactly. If she's okay with the way she is then no need to reply her naysayers. |
United States doesn't negotiate ransoms, well-to-do families might hire a private negotiator and pay but not the US. I think this is an added bonus for Trump. |
steveneche:I think they're generally looking for a safer fixed-rate and fixed-term investment. Depending on your investment objective, you should have a mixture of both in your portfolio. |
Olaide1295:You can try the nse site, you can see the api calls if you monitor your network requests. It's somewhat intuitive since they don't have docs. |
ositadima1:GNU guy ![]() |
ecomalchemist:If there is a breach of contract, the proper thing to do is to go to the law courts for redress. But alas I don't expect you to know better. The comedian is well within his rights to sue for defamation. As I said, I don't support defaulting on a contract, but dragging or defaming a person on social media is too low. Plus, it just shows how powerless one is and opens you up to lawsuits. If dragging people on social media works, banks would probably be doing it. |
"There are two sides to every story. The first one to speak sounds true until you hear the other side and they set the record straight." It's a good thing he came out and explained his own part. To drag someone on social media for less than 900k seems low. I don't support defaulting on a loan but I think we aren't in normal times, even corporate lenders gave their borrowers some slack. I guess what pissed the salesman was him reselling the car and still not settling his bills. That's greed on the comedian's part. |
What the recent happenings have shown is that our problems are far beyond just our leaders. We need a mindshift. I remember someone saying even if Jesus were the Nigerian president, things wouldn't change. When we start having double standards-- excusing one form of thievery and condemning another, then, something is wrong. |
lakesider:Your guess is as good as mine. |
"You shall reap what you sow." The hunger, poverty and improvishment that the government has sowed over the years is ready for the harvest. Why do you think these people are looting and stealing-- to them, they have nothing to lose. This is their only opportunity, and that is the mindset of the average Nigeria-- get rich or die trying. I honestly pray that things return to normalcy, whatever that means. The government should realize that they don't have the might to fight so many battles. If there's an uprising, they'll surely fall. |
Hiding behind a mask to commit cybercrimes... ![]() Are these guys comedians or what? I felt he should have masked his voice and removed all metadata on the video. I just knew it was a matter of time. Stay strong soldier, you stood on the right side of history. |
The thing is, the government isn't ready to budge. Your president laughed when Sanwo-Olu was briefing him on some of the demands being made, that should give you an idea of what he thinks about the protests. |
