kosplateau: so these ones begging with their kids weren't adults? in short, I think it is d fashion to get births in america and get citizenship that push these people...they don't wanna hear their B1/B2 visas have expired and stories on renewal. if u notice people give births twice to maximize d two-year duration.
these days immigration officers, ask them u were here last year for what u are here again for...is this all u do? very embarrassing. Anchor babies are the norm in America. Sadly everyone seems to do it - every day you'll see a pregnant Mexican/Indian/Russian lady show up at a hospital looking to give birth. I wonder why the immigration laws are so lax in America when it comes to pregnant women. |

What of the Massob Militants? The IPOB thugs? I'm not Igbo. Radio Biafra is manned by buffoons, no one is acting on their wicked lies. MASSOB militants are not killing innocent civilians - they were able to retain some level of local support whilst not attracting the heavy hand of the Federal government because they did not launch a campaign of terror on powerless individuals. They did not murder schools boys nor did they kidnap school girls. Nor are they out murdering farmers and landowners for no reason. You might think that MASSOB and those that call themselves Biafrans are Nigeria's biggest problem. They are not. They do not cause anywhere near as much destruction as the Fulani herdsmen that kill with impunity on a weekly basis. Nor are they as foolish as Boko Haram who kill without sensible demands or requests to even begin negotiations |

ISpiksDaTroof: "Parts of this", "Parts of that". Basically, based on where you named, theres effective drainage and garbage pick up for less than (appx) 1million+, so what happens to the remaining 184,000,000+ people?!
Ok, it looks like you are bored. You will have to go look for a playmate another place else.
Ciao! I do not have exhaustive knowledge of every geographic point in Nigeria - I mentioned the places that I frequent. Meanwhile you've failed to name even ONE city. Why is that? You can't name one city that does not have sidewalks, as you have claimed. Or that does not have refuse collection or is completely without drainage. You do not know what you are talking about. |
Politics › Re: Deplorable State Of Roads In The Oil City Of Warri (pictures) by mmsen: 6:24pm On Sep 10, 2015 |
ISpiksDaTroof: If I have "Issues with particular cities"?! I almost didn't reply your rubbish.
Let me break it to you: NIGERIA DOES NOT HAVE A SINGLE MODERN CITY!!! All the country has, are: scattered Multi-storey buildings, surrounded my a few mansions and an overwhelming amount of slum dwellings. No effective drainage, electrical wiring is all around dangerous and a proper garbage collection system is virtually non existent ALL OVER THE COUNTRY!!! Basically--- sorry to say this--- a country of very dirty, unhygienic and filthy people.
Anyway, my point is that Nigerian "cities"---in the true sense of the word--- do not exist. At the most, we can call them "Modern Hamlets". But, cities? No. You can't even name one city that you've visited? There is effective drainage and garbage collection all over Abuja, parts of Enugu, Calabar, Uyo as well as most parts of Lekki. As well as GRAs all over the country. Have you actually been to a Nigerian city? You seem very angry being asked about your experiences. Were you kidnapped? Did you badly invest your money in Nigeria? Did someone withhold your salary and you didn't have enough to employ an employment lawyer? |

1. How much do you collect as salary every month? If you feel the need to ask how much a man earns then he should be allowed to ask how much you charge to share your bed. Afterall, that is what you are insinuating when money is on your mind. |
Politics › Re: Deplorable State Of Roads In The Oil City Of Warri (pictures) by mmsen: 1:56pm On Sep 10, 2015 |
ISpiksDaTroof: I have lived in Nigeria before so do not lie to me. Most cities in Nigeria DO NOT have sidewalks. And the few that have a semblance of it have been taken over by encroaching builders, traders and all manners of illegalities that show how typically disobedient to law and order Nigerians are. City building plans and ordinances are clearly not being enforced and from the pictures above you can tell that some buildings will just have to go for the overall benefit of society.
P.S: Also, Nigeria needs to do something about its refuse/trash problem. In this day and age it's a disgrace that most of Nigeria lives in overwhelming filth.
When are you all going to start making your leaders accountable, EVERYDAY, for something other than Rice and Chicken during election season? Which cities have you lived in? Lagos, Abuja, Enugu, Calabar, Uyo and Port Harcourt are all cities with sidewalks. Which cities do you speak of? I'm sorry that your experiences in Nigeria were so unpleasant (yet you venture a Nigerian forum?) but don't spin tall tales. Most Nigerian cities (in the south) do indeed have sidewalks. I have yet to visit one that does not. Also, Calabar is not full of trash, nor is Uyo, Enugu or Abuja. Again, stop with the lies. You are not qualified to speak of all Nigerian cities, you are clearly wrong about the ones that I have mentioned. If you have issues with particular cities then say which ones but don't label all Nigerian cities the same when they are not. |

Learning a trade is sadly underrated in most societies.
I remember when the economy tanked in America, people with economics degrees were losing their homes while plumbers and electricians were busy buying property as investments.
'Education' is important but what it means to some is so narrow as to be useless.
OP, don't lament, it's never too late to learn a trade in your spare time. The time that the average Nigerian spends in church can be used to learn skills that will make them money in the long term. |
