Let parents take up that responsibility not schools or teachers.
I support the Minister of Education on this
How can parents who are ignorant teach their children anything?
Education › Re: Erelu Bisi Fayemi Writes To Minister Of Education Over Sex Education by mmsen: 6:36pm On Nov 06, 2022
The idiots who pray to the Abrahamic deity crying about 'foreign values'.

Sex education should be taught so that the ignorance pertaining to sex can dissipate.

What education do the religious institutions provide pertaining to sex and at what age? Abstain from sex or go to hell is not 'education', that is foolishness.

It's quite funny though, the way some people brag with suffering. I've heard people brag about how they refuse to take annual leave. They believe rest is for the weak.

Some brag about how far they trek daily etc. We have been so used to suffering right from birth that 24 hour power is something to be excited about.

Until you actually visit a developed country you'll never know how stressful and pathetic living in Africa is.

As for the birthing of kids anyhow, that one is unexplainable.
You can live a comfortable, dignified life in Africa but most people (even the ones you feel should know better) get swept up by the nonsensical "culture". They feel compelled to say and do things that make their lives needlessly difficult.

The culture of superstition and irrational behavior is too strong for most to resist.

The only thing that will happen is that those countries will degrade. As is already happening.

define stupidity...

Stupidity is selling your properties and raising over 12 million to travel abroad to do what you aren't sure of... Do not tell us that you want a safer environment... We have gangs in UK, USA and kids are killed daily and kidnapped

While the Nigerians R travelling Asians are tripping here to make money...

Before it was whites that came to buy Africans as slaves

Today it is Africans that are selling themselves as slaves
All facts.

Africans are now proud of their ability to sell themselves to the lowest bidder.

Sharrap, Nigeria is not nearing collapse,it's still one of the best countries on earth.

Nigerians in Canada and America are even complaining of not being able to build wealth.

Shootings and gun violence also happens in America and Canada.

Some Nigerians here have 24hrs power using inverters and solar.

Most Nigerians can easily build their houses while you niggas in canada and US will be paying for mortgages for several years.
These people are not being honest at all.

I talk to Canadians all the time and for the past 10 years they've all been crying about how much more expensive life has become, especially housing. It's the same in the States over the past 5 years. But talk to Nigerians who haven't been anywhere and they'll tell you how they want to run to Canada.

Look at the size of those nations and then their birth rate.

Okay but I don't see how the problem of population collapse has to do with the situation I cited facing Africa or Nigeria.

So because their is problem of population collapse in developed countries Nigerians should give birth to number of kids beyond their capabilities?
These people are proud of being used as cheap labor in other parts of the world. It's disturbing.

If I may humbly differ sir, Britain's population would hv declined if not for immigration- you forget they run all kinds of immigration and visa schemes....that's what has kept their population...

Nigerias population being 200m is a good thing...China is a super power today because of the number of the People's Liberation Army (millions of active and reserve soldiers).....

Today Nigeria has a higher number of soldiers than Britain which means we can defeat Britain if they decide to launch a colonial war like they did in the past....

Russia/USA too has a high number of soldiers....
Numbers mean nothing. You need quality hardware, training, strategy, intel and commitment.

Nigeria's army cannot even defeat the illiterate soldiers of Boko Haram, how do you think they will defeat any other nation, especially one with advanced weaponry?

But also notice that in those developed nations they are also concerned about population collapse, More reasons these countries ease up their migration rules so many people can come in and keep their system working.
There's nothing wrong in giving birth as long as these parents can take care of them
And OP's point is that these mumu people cannot take care of them.

That's the entire point of the post - why do people who struggle with the basics think it is their right to have children and not just one or two but they will have up to six or seven and then cry about the hardship in the country, the government etc.

Do you think the insecurity issues in the north would be such if the people there limited themselves to one or two children?

Nna don start , some people will capitalize on this now and start calling themselves prophet or Pastor. The number of church in Nigeria is times 3 of manufacturing industry, Our mumu never do ? A lot of youths are out there in the church looking for a miracle because their Pastors told them to believe instead of them going out there to be a problem solver and own a business. If you think only church can help you to fight poverty you have a problem called poverty of brain. Anyway if you don’t have anything doing now and you are in Lagos and you are hoping for a financial freedom , feel free to contact and join my real estate team here in LAGOS. Trust me within 6 months you will make more than a million and also travel out with our team on vacation. Pls don’t say it’s a lie ooo check ayhomes.ng on instagram or www.Ayhomes.ng pls if you are looking for a miracle money pls don’t bother to contact our team.
It's a lot more than x3 oga.

Drive through the various useless villages in this country and you will find 10 churches.

It's the same in the cities, you cannot walk more than 50 metres in southern Nigeria without passing a church.

Lol this is what I love about Christianity.

The debate, the argument, logics, different theories and different individual opinions.

And Christians questions everything and anything... That's the sign of a healthy religion. God gave us brain right...? I don't know about other religions, but as a Christian I know that it was God who created us and our brain(note: in his image) so any religion that forbids you to use your brain and question certain doctrine is a scam and a brain washing program. Not a religion.

The Freedom to think and act for yourself Without someone stoning you to death or burning you alive citing blasphemy is what makes Christianity the best religion in the world... And also what makes it vulnerable.

Cos the excess tolerance and freedom that comes with Christianity gives random people including Christians a golden license to disrespect the religion as they want. Unlike other religions...

But any Loyalty and faithfulness built on a foundation of fear can never be compared to the one standing on a foundation of free-will.

This is why Christianity will always be the best religion in the entire universe.

I wasn't a Christian by choice.. Like most people in the world i was born into my religion (Christianity) And I'm forever glad for that.
Most xtians do not question xtianity otherwise they would not be xtians.

Premium cappings. You are probably the only one in the entire footballing world who is unaware of how Arsene Wenger was publicly lauded for converting Henry from a pure winger into a lethal world class striker. This has been the subject of many documentaries and it is appalling to see you say he is unadaptable. Nothing could be further from the truth!

When he left for Barca, he switched to being a winger and still outscored Eto'o in his first season despite being past his prime. You should read more sire.
He played the same way.

He was a striker who drifted left to to collect the ball and have a direct run on goal.

The only thing that changed was his starting position. His all around game did not change.

OJEEMAH:
On what basis?

Trophies
Golden boots
Awards or what?
Trophies, being able to play in multiple countries/leagues and score wherever he played.

Tactical flexibility, being able to go from playing with Ronaldinho and Messi under Frank Rijkaard who was a player's coach with minimal coaching instruction to playing for Mourinho at Inter who was pedantic about everything. His willingness to sacrifice his goal scoring instincts so that Inter team could win the Champions League whilst beating Barcelona en route showed how great of a player he was to me.

Henry could/would never do such. Henry's game barely changed/developed from the time he left Monaco, he was afforded the room to be a one track player and he was brilliant in his own right but it's a team game and the true greats adapt their game for the team.

Eto'o was better than Henry.

But for him to say that Anelka was better than Henry is crazy talk. Anelka was a great player in his own right but not better than Henry.

My brother let us look at it this way, Hisbah is a religious outfit that was pushed for by the Northern assembly members and eventually passed into law. What were your National Assembly members doing when the northerners were planning their future? Now that it's too late to apportion blames, why don't we come up with a solution? Why wasn't it the first objective of IPOB to push for better representation? Why didn't they push their senators and rep members to clamour for more states? The northern dominance you're seeing playing out in this country at the moment didn't start today, it has been planned secretly and stealthily looooooong ago. Go and read about the Kaduna declaration. Why didn't the Igbos jettison brute force and threats and instead use wisdom?
I have no idea what IPOB is about besides secession. Nor do I concern myself with any Igbo business.

Bro, you're correct. But we must first count ONE before we count TWO. The current government isn't big on state policing so we have to change it to one which is serious about enforcing state police. We the masses know that the army has been badly infiltrated, and that the solution will be local policing, but the truth is that it's not possible for now. Think about it.
They have their useless hisbah.

There is no reason or excuse for such an institution but they did it without caring how it looks to the rest of the country. Waiting on the FG to do right by the rest of the country is why Nigeria is the way that it is. If the south of Nigeria has to resort to legal shenanigans in order to do what is best for themselves then so be it but playing the game fairly while the other side cheats is a recipe for more failure.
