Should the hundreds of billions used for hajj from government coffers be subject to investigation too? Yes. It should. Government should not subsidize such nonsense. |

MaNyEsq: I am impressed with the facility but the key here is maintenance. How would the restrooms, baggage claim, and the surroundings look 2 years from now? Would the faucets in the restrooms be functional as well as paper towel and toilet roll dispensers be fully stocked or do you have to pay a bribe in order to have one available to you? These are the questions that need to be addressed and focus should be placed on making sure that such a nice facility does not fall into disrepair. The existing domestic terminal has been well maintained and is more than 6 years old. The toilets are clean, baggage carousels work fine. Where in Nigeria do you pay 'bribe' for toilet paper? As messed up as this country can be that is something that has never happened to me, not even in that cauldron of national disgrace known as Murtala Muhammad International Airport. |

light099: In the olden days, knowledge was the key, philosophers, scientists, astrologers were the celebrities, the ones who were in charge of life but nowdays, foolishness is the key, that is why entertainment is in charge of the world. Football, music, movie, shows, and other related shiits. If Thomas Edison, Newton etc were footballers or musicians who contributed nothing to development of the world, our lives today would have been worse than animals. This wack generation is reaping the fruits some people in the past laboured hard to plant.
Pogba hairstyle is better than PhD, big ass is better than MSc, Tacha is better than VC of a university.

Some of you Nigerians are a joke. No, you slowpoke. You cannot read. You conveniently ignored what I wrote or were so angered by your own crappy life that you wanted to jump on one sentence. Banking is easier. Have you seen a bank fail in the past 5 years? Paying/renewing a passport is easier. Paying for air travel is easier. Telecommunication is easier. Do you remember NITEL? Retail is now easier. Hailing a cab is easier. These are the things are that make day to day life easier. I did not say things are perfect but they are minor improvements that have made day to day life better than what they were. |
