PoliticsRe: This News Just brought fear to the camp of PDP by Modarun(m): 9:57am On Nov 17, 2018
They will seat in one brown roofed hole in Oshogbo and be posting rubbish. Lol. before you quote me just know am right now in Kaduna, and word on the street is Atiku is a sure game.
These Afonjas self, Bros Its true Buhari is loved in the North, but one thing yall Yorubas pushing these make believe nonsense dont get is when it comes to the North they dnt have much capacity to hold back under great sufferation. They will tell you sai Buhari, but if youvare capable of disguisin your looks to look and sound like them, they will open up to you. To put simply one Kano man asked me, what can I point to that Buhari done for poor northern masses? What can 10k solve in this BUHARIA regime? they are angry cos even under Jonathan when they were not in power, they were fairing better than now that Buhari is in power.
Pls go and mark it too that a Niger delta dude born and raised and still based up North told you that Buhari is a goner. Listed below are but a few of the many sins that sealed Buharis fate.
1. Buhari has not empowered anyone but his immediate Katsina/Bornu relatives and the Tinubu Lagos clique. The Elite up North are not happy woth him and woumd work against him secretly.
2. Only Katsina people even at that his immediate associates, friends and family that are enjoying this govt. The rest of the entire North that supported his candidature and subsequent truimph at the polls has been unfortunately sidelined.
3. There is a growing sentiment that not a single infrastruture can be seen on ground in the North by this govt, not even a 3lane road, the only place something seems to be happening is in the South West, Fashola has succcessfully hijacked, monopolize and annexed to his region all the worthy infrastructural projects to his region.
4. The most influential monarchs upnorth, Emirs, from Sokoto, Kaduna, Kano, to those in the North central and so on are favourably disposed to the Atiku presidency.
5. Buhari stands alone, what most zombies faiked to learn is that if the cabals lead by OBJ supported GEJ, Jonathan would have rigged glaringly and nothing would have happened. They would just burn tyres and protest, but will die down after a few weeks. Buhari contested elections 3 times and lost, the cabals that decides who gets what called him after he gave up hope on ever becoming president and installled him on that seat, now everyone of them have left him. and they are behind Atiku.
6. Atiku is not Ijaw, He is not Auchi, Not Ogbomosho, Or unlike Buhari a Niger migrants son, but an Adamawa Fulani. So the sentiments of 2015 wont work in the upcoming election.
7. Atiku has and still have strong ties with Katsina, and thevYar adua family.
8. Unlike Buhari, Atiku is generous and forgiving, he forgave the likes of El rufai twice, Nuhu Ribadu used by then Pres. OBJ to scuttle his ambition, they all knw if he became president Atiku wont witch hunt those who are fighting him to day.
As for Buhari winningthe South East, lemmi just say this, If GEJ still lost the elections despite endorsements from South west monarchs and elites, why then would anyone believe such can not happen to Buhari? cnt you guys see the repeat of the trends in 2015? If i was Buhari I will not even trust and Akpabio witb anything. Una eyes go clear!

RomanceThe Difference Between Abuja Men And Lagos Men – Lorraine Lionheart by Modarun(op): 8:44am On Nov 17, 2018
By Ayo Onikoyi
November 10, 2018 5:25 PM

Curvy and sexy singer from Botswana, Lorraine Lionheart, who was part of the just concluded Felabration in Lagos has shared her impression of the Nigerian men with Potpourri in an Insta chat.
The doting mother of one who also visited Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria said she had a jolly good time in the country. She also said she had little interactions with the women, and could only say something about the Nigerian man.
“I learnt on my recent trip that there are no set characteristics that describe or define a Nigerian man. More especially, that most have the ability to transform themselves into whatever they like at any given time. But for me personally, it’s a quality I like, being able to adapt to different environments and settings,” she said.
Comparing Abuja men to Lagos men, the crooner who has sung about the commercial tricycle (Keke) used all over Nigeria, as a perfect romantic get-away said the Lagos men appeal to her more.
“I had the opportunity to spend a bit of time in Abuja, and the men there were different from men in Lagos. Lagos is a highly commercial city and a lot of men there tend to give interpersonal interactions a commercial approach, maybe without realising it.
I don’t know how else to put this , but personally, I was overwhelmed with how much money I got offered by men randomly in Lagos. In Abuja, men want to talk to you even in the streets and have an actual conversation. But in Lagos they walk to you with their mobile phone already open, ready to store your number, they don’t have time. Everything has a price in Lagos .
But I love that go-getter attitude of Lagos men though. They see what they want and they don’t hesitate. I was in a nightclub in Abuja, and there was a guy staring at me all night but afraid to talk to me. Every time I turned around there he was still looking at me.
But not doing anything about it. In Lagos it would have been a different story altogether,” she added.
Lorraine Lionheart has performed at the Felabration for the second time in a row. She’s no stranger in Nigeria as she has also shot a video of single ‘Keke na Pepe’ in Lagos.

Govt of Small minds, for the small minds. Now thats the kind of Jobs Bubari talked about, when he said he will create 3million jobs a year.
His Almajiristic economic policy is to make Nigerians so poor they cnt afford to think for themselves. Thats why they made Nigerians poorer so that poverty mentality can set in where few onions and maggi would sway them into voting APC candidates.
PoliticsYou Are Morally Challenged, Saraki Tells Oshiomhole by Modarun(op): 7:19am On Nov 15, 2018
Onyebuchi Ezigbo in Abuja and Hammed Shittu in Ilorin

Senate President Bukola Saraki Wednesday came down hard on the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, asking him to quit politics.
Saraki made the statement in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, on the sidelines of a remembrance ceremony for his late father, Dr. Olusola Saraki.
This is coming as the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) yesterday told protesters that it would investigate the APC national chairman if it receives a petition against him.
Saraki said based on recent allegations levelled against Oshiomhole, the APC national chairman had no right to remain the chairman of the ruling party, let alone remain in politics.
“Oshiomhole has no locus standi to talk about morality in today’s Nigeria’s politics. That must be a joke coming from Oshiomhole talking about moral ground,” he said.
The Senate president referred to multiple allegations of corruption against the ruling party’s national chairman by some APC aspirants and said Oshiomhole ought to stand down from politics.
According to the Senate president, “I don’t think he has any moral ground, even to continue to be in politics not to talk about being a chairman of a party.
“I remember in those days even John Oyegun, they never accused him of something like this. I have left that party. I’m sure the president, based on integrity, knows the right thing to do. So, on moral ground, he cannot speak on moral ground.”
Speaking on Saturday’s by-election in Irepodun/Ekiti/Oke Ero/Isin Federal Constituency, Saraki decried the huge deployment of policemen and sudden change of divisional heads of police in four local government areas for the by-election.
He said, “You see, the mistake we sometimes make; we forget that Nigeria is a big nation in this global world, not only in the context of Africa. We provide leadership. An action that we take that tries to suggest that we are not civilised with rule of law and processes, doesn’t augur well with the image.
“Today, the president is the president of ECOWAS likewise the Chairman of INEC as chairman of electoral bodies in ECOWAS, even show that we are a responsible country”.
“So, when the Inspector General of Police (IG) begins to do things like this without following due process, it is not good for our country. And that is what we always stand for. And all those who are supposed to caution him should ensure that due process is followed in things like this.
“We have been doing by- election here, I have never seen where the Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) are being transferred. We have been doing by-elections here; I have never seen where 200 or 300 security personnel are being deployed. It is not about Kwara State; it is about the country. It is about how the world sees us.
“It is about how we provide leadership in the continent. And we keep on saying that people like these are not doing the president any good. The people at the end of the day will speak, and they should allow people to exercise their rights, vote in peace and vote their wishes and should not do anything that create fear or break law and order.
“In spite of all these, I see PDP winning the election because we are on the ground. There is no doubt about it. If you go round, you will know who is on ground. And you will see that in the results. They should allow people to exercise their rights.”
Oshiomhole had severally prevailed on Saraki to resign from his exalted position following his defection from the ruling APC to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Apparently still leaking the wound inflicted on the ruling party’s ego by the defection of Saraki to the opposition political party, Oshiomhole while appearing on Arise TV, a sister broadcast station of THISDAY, said there was no way the “minority leadership in National Assembly” could stand the test of time.
“It is unacceptable that minority provide leadership over majority. However he mismanages the process of manipulating the tools of reward, using all ways to sustain himself in power at a huge cost to the country, I remain convinced that Saraki must show honour and character by vacating voluntarily,” he said.
Protesters Storm ICPC, Demand APC Chairman’s Probe
Meanwhile, protesters yesterday stormed the headquarters of the ICPC in Abuja, demanding an investigation into allegations of bribery levelled against Oshiomhole during the recently concluded nationwide primary elections of the party.
The protesters, who were led by Stanley Onu under the auspices of Coalition for a New Nigeria (CNN), said the protest was in their “quest to arrest the dangers faced by our party, the ruling APC, occasioned by the integrity challenged National Chairman, Oshiomhole.”
They carried placards with several inscriptions such as ‘Oshiomhole must go’, ‘Probe Oshiomhole now,’ among others.
According to them, “The APC is in serious crisis following the most reprehensible, divisive and widely condemned primaries across the states.”
Speaking further, the leader of the protesters said, “Today, the APC which was gaining grounds and welcoming new members is far from the all-embracing party it was when Oshiomhole took over as national chairman.
“Given the various allegations of corruption by respected chieftains and members of the APC, we are here calling on the various anti-corruption agencies to begin a comprehensive probe of not only these allegations, but his time as the governor of Edo State.
“For the avoidance of doubt, we are well aware that Justice Anwuli Chikere of the Federal High Court ordered the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to commence criminal proceedings against Oshiomhole for allegedly diverting state funds into personal use.
“Therefore, it is expedient that a man that has corruption noose round his neck is not the fit and proper person to lead a party that has President Muhammadu Buhari, a man known globally for his anti-corruption stance, to remain in office.”
Addressing the protesters, spokeswoman of the commission, Ms. Rasheedat Okoduwa, buttressed the impartiality of the ICPC, saying it would look into all petitions before it, giving precedence to the time of filing. She urged the protesters to remain peaceful and allow the petition go through the commission’s processes.

ImperialYoruba:
You must be Wawa, correct?

Kaduna is not an ancient town. It was built purposely, just like Enugu was built. I can give you history of both places and teach you what you lack....even though ive never left Osogbo.

We had three regional capitals in Nigeria. Ibadan was the only one, a city, built by its own people. White men founded and built Kaduna and Enugu.

Kaduna is Gwari territory. All these people you call Soythern Kaduna are proto-Gwari ethnicity. White missionaries took christianity to North. They also imported liquor.

Gwariland was the boundary; no missionary or liquor was permitted further North from there. Colonial govt built Kaduna in order to have separate adminiatrative office closer to the seat of indirect rule than one in Lokoja.

Amalgamation, then state creations is what crossed paths of Gwari and Fulani and made them both co-owners in Kaduna.

Religion of Kaduna go even deeper and why Islam gained popularity has to do with military rulership.

I will be here in Osogbo and will never step out but..... if you need the history of anywhere in Nigeria come ask me. grin
And I guess the Kataf, Atyaps and Kagoros are not Southern Kaduna. Bros I was born and raised in that city. History is not always a true reflectiin of what happened bit what the writer thinks it shoukd be. Before the coming of the white man, and Fulanis and Malawas there were people in Kaduna. So dnt come here and quote what you dnt have any clue about. The real owners of Kaduna can be found in Makarfi, wusasas, the Ggagis and the people of Southern Kaduna, Kagoro, Kataf, Jaba and so on.
PoliticsRe: 4 Reasons Nigerians Cannot Afford To Have Atiku In Aso Rock – Tonye Barcanista by Modarun(m): 6:23am On Nov 15, 2018
Atiku is this, Atiku is that, he is a theif, he is a devil, he is satan they say.
well It wont change a thing, they only person that would loose supporters are definately not Atiku. Question is what has Buharo done for the North and Nigeria in general besides hardiship and poverty?
# Buhari did not fix Road network in Arewanci Nigeria, from North west, North East to North Central, Not a single thing can be pointed to from Sokoto-Zamfara-Kebbi-Kano-Jigawa - kaduna, Benue, Taraba, Plaeteau, Nasarawa, Adamawa, . not a single decent Road infrastructure can one say Buhari has been able to do. But Fashola is busy in S/west.
#Buhari has not empowered the poor people in Northern Nigeria, instead he made them poorer and dependant on govt. When I mean empowerment, we are not talking about handing people 5-10k, we are talkin empowering them.through skill aquisitions, real jobs for graduates, etc. Buhari made the country so difficult for the poor to survive, then hand them a paltry 5-10k. Well 10k cant even buy them a bag of Rice, while under the PDP, things were cheaper, and most Nigerians would rather Buhari return things they way they were and keep his lousy 10.

Now here are some facts those making senseless noise about Atiku/Obi ticket.
1.Atiku stucked his neck out for drmocracy. He put his life and wealth on the line so democracy woukd survive. He would have earsily backed OBJ third term agenda and became a life VP. But he refused, no one deserve that presidency more than Atiku. he wmhas contributed extremely to democracy.

2. Atiku was intrumental to the survival of the then opposition who are now fighting him. From Elrufai to Tinubu and Oshomole none can deny Atikus contribution to their political career. Those who were elsewhile political associates, to those he helped break into govt today.

3. where were Buhari when the likes of Atiku was in the trenches fighting for democracy in 2004-7?
Atiku was the first man to demysify the power of the F.G. he broke the decade long believe that you cant defeat the FG on court. Afterall it was his truimphs that gave Lagos the courage to take the FG to court to get a ruling that it was illegal to withold Lagos funds.

No one i repeat no one deserves to be President morethan Atiku. Cos if he chose the easier part and became a yes Sir V.Pee to OBJ, the likes of Tinubu, Buhari and most of us that dared to condemn govt would be eatibg Ewa ati Bread in Kirikiri prison today.

Banke, how do you feel about Arewa Igbo muslims relocating home to contest for posts?
There are no such things like Arewa Igbo muslims, they only have Igbos. there are thousands of them, from Onitcha to Ebonyi, but unlike you Ibos dont called them less Ibos. Politics in Iboland like many other things in the East is not about patronage but capacity. If you beat an Igbo man on anything as long as you did it on a fair ground, he respects you and makes sure everyone knows you are Baba at it. Ask any ibo man who amongst all the politicians from that zone would make a better president? Most would tell you Peter Obi. why? not cos Obi will go there and favour them, but Obi is prolly the best they can offer now. His records speaks for him. If IBos were Yorubas say in lagos, Agbaje would be campaigning for his second term by now. Problem with you guys is you think and act based on blind followership. Igbos respects you based on what you can offer.
So Only competent Ibos no such thing as Muslim Igbos. Igbo Igbos who practice the muslim faith are the best and are willing to hold political offices, Ibos wont discreminate if truely they demostrate they are the best. Yar adua was a Fulani muslim, same with Atiku and Buhari, Igbos chose him simply cos he was the most libral, cleaner and resolute than others. Igbos warned Nigerians about Buhari, he wont achieve much, he would fail even his people, now all of this predictions are glaring for all to see.
it would have made no diff if Atiku chose an Ibo or Not, Ibos would have still voted for him even if he looses, cos they believe is the best amonsgt the two.

No wonder!!!

Nigerians be WISE!

Obasanjo ruled 8 YEARS (WEST)
Yar'Aduwa ruled 3 years and 3 months (FULANI) NORTH
Jonathan ruled 4 years and 9 months (SOUTH)
Buhari ruling to 4 years (FULANI) NORTH

NOW Atiku wants 8 years (FULANI) NORTH

THAT WILL GIVE THE NORTH a total of 15 years and 3months of our new democracy

While other regions are waiting... And YORUBA will have to wait longer before returning to power!

BETTER LET BUHARI FINISH another 4 years and leave.
Then the north would have ruled only 11 years (which is still more than any other region!)
Let other regions rule for the next 24 years straight from 2023-2047 and that will change Nigeria for better distributed growth

LET'S BE WISE...fulani herdsmen are killing our people and you want give one of them another 8 years, what's the difference?

#iStandWithBuhari
#BuhariTill2023
Lol what is wrong with you guys? I tot yall said GEJ ruled for 7 years?
Bros hunger knows no friend. its only Tinubu zombies that cant understand the word fairness and equity. If the rest of the country were as greedy as you lots, they would have chased you people out of Nigeria. When the rest of the country agreed to hand your people the post for 8years it was not an issue, all of a sudden you guys now think you own Nigeria. Pls other tribes have been in your present shoes and they were not this selfish o. Here is a fair calculation of how the South and North should balance the equation.

1.OBJ ( 8 ) + GEJ (6) (yaradua 2+ GEJ 4)= 14 years for South.
2.Yaradua (2) + Buhari (4)= only 6 years for the North.
3.Atikus ( 8 ) + yaradua (2)+ Buhari (4) = 14years to arive at The South (14) and the North (14).
PoliticsYou'll Be Forced Out Soon - Plateau Governor To Fulani Land Grabbers by Modarun(op): 12:11pm On Nov 14, 2018
- The Plateau state governor has issued a warning to some ancestral land grabbers in the state
- Simon Lalong said those who forcefully annexed homes and villages in the state would be forced out soon than expected
- According to the governor, nobody would be allowed to take the land from the original owners in the state
Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state has said that those who forcefully annexed ancestral homes and villages of Plateau people would soon be forced out.
Lalong gave the warning on Tuesday, November 13, in Gashish community of Barkin Ladi Local Government, when he inspected the site of the proposed Mobile Police Squadron.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that the community recently came under heavy attacks that left many people dead, while the survivors fled from the area.
NAN also reports that the attackers have occupied the communities and taken over their houses, lands, livestock and economic trees.

But an angry Lalong told the “foreign” occupants that they would soon be pushed out.
“Nobody will take the land from the original owners. If you are occupying somebody’s land or house, know that you are living on borrowed time.
“It is not a matter of choice, you will be forced out soon.
“This is not just in Gashish; it will cover the entire state. We will not allow anybody to take over another person’s property,” he declared
He advised the illegal occupants of the houses to vacate them, saying that government would restore peace and resettle displaced persons to their original places.
He however, implored the people to learn to live in peace with one another, saying that government’s efforts would amount to nothing if the people would not embrace peace.
Lalong appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari, through the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, for granting approval for the establishment of the mobile police squadron.
The governor also commended Nigeria Electricity Supply Company (NESCO), for donating the facility that would serve as a temporary abode for the take-off of the police squadron.
According to him, government will immediately start the renovation of the structures provided by NESCO to enable the prompt take-off of the Police outfit.
He equally commended the community for donating 75 rooms that would be used on temporary basis.
Dickson Chollom, Chairman, Barkin Ladi Local Government, in a remark, appreciated the state government’s commitment towards the restoration of peace in the area.
Mr Bitrus Doro, a community leader, who also spoke, said that the community had been clamouring for the establishment of police mobile barracks in the area for 15 years, and expressed happiness that the dream had come to reality.
He however, appealed to the state government to construct another road to serve as an alternative route in view of the security situation.
“The security situation is compounded by the lack of an alternative road linking the community.
“We appeal to you to construct another road that would serve as an alternative to the one we have,” he said.
Lazarus Bewarang, representative of NESCO, listed the property donated by the company to include a block of four rooms and two sitting rooms, and a large hall with seven rooms.
Others included a building of six rooms, six sitting rooms and six kitchens, a three bedroom flat, club for recreation as well as a Police outpost.

A fake pastor is one that uses Nigerian money to buy votes, A fake pastor isbone thatvaccuses others of corruption but turn a blind eye to the one by his kit and kin. Osibanjo is a fake pastor simoly because he was remained silent while thousands of christians are slaughtered by a govt he is party to.
Peter Obi didnt say he is perfect, he iis not corrupt and has never been accused as such. Not like Tinubu and Fashola that buikt 1.5 dollar edifice on air.
Peter Obi have always been talking about Solutions, even when he was in APGA, he has been speaking on saving, buildibg infrastructures, Improving education and health care and the economy. We believe him not cos of anything but simply because all he speaks about he has demostrated he is capable of achieving every single one. unlike the one that promised to reduce fuel pump price, unlike the ones going about talking problems and blaming others instead of solving them.

El Rufai is from Kaduna, the said member of presidency claim he is from Kano. So what is with this Yoruba you people been mentioning upandan? Yoruba this, Afonja that? Why must you blame Yorubas for every of your misfortune in life? Is El Rufai now a Yoruba man?
If yorubas withdraws their support for Buhari or demand for. fairness to all, this govt would stop these nonesense, but the Buhari camp know you people are blinded cos of the promise of a Yoruba ticket. But what you guys dnt knw is a second term for Buhari means a conflicted, waring and di ided Nigeria, not even a Tinubu or anyYoruba would be alllowed by the rest who bore the brunt of Buhari to rule or govern in peace. The rest of the country is almost at war, but your greediness cnt see why you should back track. Lok. My own is to inform or point things out as one who have been and lived in all the geo zones of Nigeria.
You dnt knw In plateau alone we have hundreds of thousands of Yorubas living there, who dnt even see Swest as their states. So many in Kaduna south and in.all the areas these Jihadist are killing, but your people are supporting them. never mind, you can go on and help the return Buhari, but be ready to bare the repercusions when it starts. The likes of OBJ who understands whats happening are warning you but you dnt want to listen. You will learn by the time the people beingbkilled turn against your people in the North Central and North East for your support of their killers.

anyone but this divisive people, from the State house Abuja to Sir Kashim house in Kaduna.
From today onwards I will never insult IBOs again. They have shown they are by far smarter people, and ubderstands who Nigerians should vote into power, they were warning us about these marauders but we didnt listen, now look at where we are now. El Rufai is not even from Nigeria, his Family house is in Zaria and his family are known by all to have migrated from Mali.
To think such a man is now trying to disorganize Kaduna state with ethnoreligious sentiment is not only painful as one born and raised in Garin kwamna but unfortunate.
I dnt blame him sha, I blame senseless leaders of Southern Kaduna extraction, the likes of Deputy gov, Ex NNPC boss and Martin Agui who did not only support the emergence of this imp, but also worked against The PDP that made them prominent people. The battle is now drawn, the state sponsored silent slaughtering of Christians and marginalization have now been brought to the fore. Like I said since Elrufai thinks he is a demi god and Islamic Jihadist out to propagate the complete islamitisation of Kaduna state, we shall show him that he is nothing but a lucky ant.

Its up to Kaduna voters to decide, fayose and his deputy were both Christians same as plateau and taraba and everyone were matured about it, with more than 80 different political parties, if APC wants a Muslim Muslim ticket, democracy allows you to choose a Christian Christian party. Besides few politicians in Nigeria are truly religious, they mostly serve money, power and black magic
As usual, Isvelrufai from kaduna or an indigene? he is from mali. Theyvmade him governor now he wants to cause disunity in Kaduna. Well we shall meet at the polls.

what a shame. So there is even a plot? I hope the Yorubas are seeing the kind fanatics they are supporting? They will claim they are sophisticated but give them a little soace their true colours will emerge. For 16years this country was ran as a multireligious one, a free state, just within 3 years they have turned Nigeria into something else. SMH. the soup Some of you Muslims are brewing shall soon consume you all.

PoliticsBoko Haram: President Buhari Under Fire Following Saturday’s Attack In Maiduguri by Modarun(op): 11:03am On Nov 12, 2018
Aisha Yesufu, Co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls, BBOG, advocacy group, has described President Muhammadu Buhari as an “ineffective Commander-In-Chief.
She was reacting to yesterday’s attack on a village in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital by the Boko Haram sect.
DAILY POST reported yesterday that barely 24 hours after the Boko Haram sect released new video claiming attack on military base in Kumshe and Gulumba areas of Borno State, another village Baleh Shuwari less than 500m from Giwa Barracks was said to be under attack by the insurgents.
Hundreds of people living in Jiddari Polo Ward in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital have reportedly fled their homes.
Reacting to the ugly development, Yesufu wondered if the President was aware of the attack
She tweeted, “Dear President Muhammadu Buhari @MBuhari
“Did you hear that citizens are fleeing in Maiduguri? What are you doing?
“Did we vote you to be an ineffective Commander-In-chief?
“What happened to the valour that was reported of you? Citizens are fleeing in Maiduguri #NeverAgain.”

Flashback: All juicy appointments went to Katsina, Lagos, -Saraki.
Published August 1, 2018
The President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki , on Tuesday met his supporters in Ilorin , where he told them that he dumped the All Progressives Congress because of their insistence that he should do so and the guidance he received from God.
He further alleged that Kwara State and the rest of the country was marginalised in terms of appointments by the APC because every juicy appointment was shared between the Lagos and Katsina cabal.
“The Federal Government appointed over 200 persons into juicy offices without allotting any slot to me or ( Speaker , House of Representatives, Yakubu ) Dogara . Everything went to Katsina , Katsina , Lagos , Lagos . If not for the love I have for Nigeria , we would have scattered everything. They don ’ t want all Nigerians in their party . They don't like us in Kwara .
“What I am after is for my people to enjoy dividend of democracy. I want us to be in the party that will love my people. Wherever we are , we will win elections . The governor told me he’ s tired of the APC.
“Those we are talking to in the Peoples Democratic Party have understood that we need to move Nigeria forward . There is no cause for alarm. We should forget about personal ambition as we move to a new party . What should be paramount in our minds is Nigeria ’ s progress . We will set up our committee which will be meeting with the PDP committee . I ’ ve met with great stakeholders in the PDP such as Prof. Sulaiman , Ajibola Simon and Yekini Alabi and we have all agreed to work together. We should cooperate with the PDP people who we are joining.”
