See, when it comes to the bible, it is so consistent with the truth that there really is no room for confusion. Actually God is a God of order and one would expect to find nothing but consistency and order in His words. The Pope in an address in New York said that “ humanly speaking, ended in failure, the failure of the cross. “. “I would like to express two sentiments for my Muslim brothers and sisters : Firstly, my greetings as they celebrate the feast of sacrifice. I would have wished my greeting to be warmer. My sentiments of closeness, my sentiments of closeness in the face of tragedy. The tragedy that they suffered in Mecca.” “The cross shows us a different way of measuring success. Ours is to plant the seeds. God sees to the fruits of our labors. And if at times our efforts and works seem to fail and not produce fruit, we need to remember that we are followers of Jesus Christ and his life, humanly speaking, ended in failure, the failure of the cross.” Let that sink in. So first the Pope identifies himself with “my Muslim Brothers and Sisters”. Now, don’t get me wrong, but I love muslims. I have Muslim brothers and sisters and friends. But in faith are Muslims our brothers and sisters? “The righteous should choose his friends carefully, for the way of the wicked leads them astray” (12:26). We should stay away from foolish people (13:20, 14:7), from people who lose their temper easily (22:24), and from the rebellious (24:21). Although these close relationships are not recommended, it does not mean we turn our noses up and ignore unbelievers, either. Second Timothy 2:24-26 tells us that as servants of the Lord, we are to be kind to and not quarrel with anyone. We should gently teach those who oppose the truth, and be patient with difficult people. Matthew 5:16 tells us, “Let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly father.” We should serve unbelievers so that they may see God through us and turn to Him in praise. James 5:16 says that there is great power in the prayer of a righteous person, so bring your concerns for unbelievers before God, and He will listen. What does the Koran say about Non-Muslims? (9:5 ) And when the forbidden months have passed, kill the idolaters wherever you find them and take them prisoners, and beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent and observe Prayer and pay the Zakat, then leave their way free. Surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful. On unbelievers is the curse of Allah. – Sura 2:161 It is not for any Prophet to have captives until he has made slaughter in the land. – 8:67 Fight those who believe neither in God nor the Last Day, nor what has been forbidden by God and his messenger (Mohammed) , nor acknowledge the religion of Truth (Islam), even if they are People of the Book (Christians), until they pay the tribute and have been humbled. – 9:29 (another source: ) The unbelievers are impure and their abode is hell. (another source: ) Humiliate the non-Muslims to such an extent that they surrender and pay tribute. Are Christians infidels? YES TO MUSLIMS. Anyone that does not profess the Shahada is an idolater (worships another God that is nor Allah). So from the scratch of it, Christianity and Islam are the stack opposites and both hold relationships with non- believers at ‘arms length’. For Christians, it is either to preach to the unbeliever or stay clear lest their influence compromises your faith. For the Muslims, well it says kill! (And the results, every 5 Minutes A Christian is Killed ) But how does the Pope then a man that professes Christianity call a Muslim his brother? Well maybe because deep down, Islam and Catholicism are one? How? Well for one, Muslims believe God cannot die. “And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah’s messenger – they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them ; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge there of save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain”. S. 4:157 The closest Muslims come to the cross is admitting someone else was crucified or ‘it appeared to the people present’ that they crucified someone. Now the Pope in His statement has said that ‘humanly speaking” Jesus died. The common denominator in Islam and Catholicism is that “someone HUMAN” called Jesus died, but God did not die. (According to Islam God cannot die and now according to the pope just the ‘human’ Jesus died, not the “Jesus- Jesus”). Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1John 2:22 So the Pope can justifiably call Muslims his Brothers and Sisters in faith. And which faith is that? Well the faith of the Devil. Only Satan would choose to convince you to believe Jesus Christ did not die at the cross. Why? Because it is by the death of Christ at the cross that completes our salvation. www.amredeemed.com/end-times/finally-the-pope-agrees-with-muslims-jesus-did-not-die-at-the-cross |
The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar has advised President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria to prosecute all those found guilty of corruption. He said this at National Security Conference on: Community Partnership Approach to Internal Security and Crime Management organised by Police and Sun newspapers, in Abuja. “All found culpable of corruption should not only forfeit their assets but should go to jail. We are 100 per cent in support of your fight against corruption in the country,” he said. He called on the police and other security agencies to join in the crusade against corruption. Abubakar said the police needed to be repositioned for the 21st-century and to have their welfare reviewed. An audio tape released today by terrorist group, Boko Haram, suggests the leader of the insurgents, Abubakar Shekau, is still alive. The tape which was recorded in Hausa language by a man who claimed to be Shekau dismissed the recent claims by Chad;s president, Idriss Deby, that he had been killed and replaced. The SITE Intelligence Group however verified the authenticity of the message, and an AFP correspondent with extensive experience of reporting Boko Haram activities opined that the voice from the tape is that of Shekau. “It is indeed all over the global media of infidels that I am dead or that I am sick and incapacitated and have lost influence in the affairs of religion. he said in the recording released on social media. “It should be understood that this is false. This is indeed a lie. If it were true, my voice wouldn’t have been heard, now that I am speaking,” he said in the recording. Deby had told reporters in his country that Shekau was no longer the leader of and he even went ahead to reveal his alleged successor’s name, whom he called Mahamat Daoud, and said the new leader was ready to negotiate. “Gratitude be to Allah and with his help, I have not disappeared. I am still alive and I am not dead. And I will not die until my time appointed by Allah is up,” Shekau said. https://www.naij.com/520473-still-alive-shekau-declares.html |

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Shehu
Gabam, defends President Muhammadu Buhari from the
opposition’s attacks claiming that he has good intentions
for the country.
Speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria on Saturday in
Tilde-Fulani, Toro local government area, chief of staff to
former Governor Isa Yuguda of Bauchi state urged the
opposition to support the president instead of bombarding
him.
“I believe the president should be allowed to determine his own
pace and also determine his own cruising level. As an
opposition party, we are monitoring with keen interest with a lot
of maturity, and a lot of respect for him. He is the president of
the country whether you voted him or not, he is the President of
Nigeria.
“The institution of presidency must be respected, and I am
among one of them who always appeal that everybody should
respect the position of the presidency,” Gabam said.
He believes that nobody should insult either the president or
the institution of the presidency even if your views in
policies and programmes differ.
The PDP chieftain further appealed to the president not to
run a government that is purely investigative, but run a
government that will alleviate the suffering of the people.

Supporters of the governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya, have expressed optimism that the strength of the evidence assembled for presentation before the election petition tribunal had rekindled their hope. As the hearing begins, the court heard the testimony of witnesses presented by the APC yesterday. Speaking to newsmen in Gombe, the Secretary of the party, Alhaji Sallau Manu Pindiga urged supporters to remain confident and steadfast in their quest for justice at the tribunal. He said the party is equally confident that justice would be done to its case in view of the strength of their evidences. Alhaji Pindiga said even after the declaration of the results of April election, the party supporters were never demoralized as they had strong case to reclaim their victory. “We have more than enough documents to prove our case that massive election rigging, ranging from ballot box snatching, ballot box stuffing and other electoral malpractices”, said the party stalwart. While dismissing the activities of a faction in the party, he said the activities of the fifth columnists in their midst would not vitiate the validity of their case. “PDP leadership in Gombe and some disgruntled elements in the state APC are making concerted efforts to sabotage our efforts. All we know is that they won’t succeed,” he said. www.leadership.ng/news/451903/gombe-apc-upbeat-as-tribunal-begins-hearing-in-guber-case |

Within the week I was sworn in, I went to Niger, Chad. I was supposed to go to Cameroon but I was summoned by the G7 leaders to brief them about the security situation in Nigeria concerning Boko Haram which declared allegiance to ISIS which gives it international dimension” Source www.vanguardngr.com/2015/08/we-will-defeat-boko-haram-by-end-of-this-year-buhari/ |

Vanguard reports that there is no truth in the reported death of Osun monarch , Oba Sijuade Okunade, the Ooni of Ife. The Royal Traditional Council (RTC) of the town, on Wednesday, July 29, stated that the paramount ruler is alive and in good state of health. The group, which has the traditional chiefs and title holders in Ile-Ife said Oba Sijuade is not only alive, he is also preparing for his son’s wedding holding Sunday, next week, in Lagos. Ooni of Ife, Oba Sijuade Okunade is not dead, according to palace sources Vanguard stated further, that sources close to the foremost traditional ruler revealed that the traditional wedding of the new couple took place last weekend in London. While addressing newsmen at the House of Chiefs located within the premises of Ile-Oodua palace of the Ooni, Lowa of Ife, Oba Joseph Ijaodola, who spoke in Yoruba, said the media report that the respected monarch died in a London Hospital of an undisclosed ailment, was not true. Secretary of the RTC who spoke in Ife, the Ladin of Ife, High Chief Adetoye Odewole, said the Ooni is hale and hearty and he even spoke to the chiefs on the phone few hours earlier. “Those behind the death story are enemies of Ife and as I speak with you, chiefs have not heard anything like that. This is not the first time such rumour will be carried about our father. “They did it in 1984, also in 2004 and now, these people are coming up with another rumour. Oba Sijuade remains in sound state of health,” he was quoted to have said. Meanwhile, reports from the palace have it that people have been denied access to the palace of the monarch, as many people have thronged the royal home of the revered Oba to confirm the reports. www.naij.com/501872-breaking-palace-denies-death-ooni-says-still-alive.html |
One of my childhood crime in those days was how I spent
N2.00 (Two Naira) that mum sent me to buy milk. After
spending the money, it dawned on me that my father will not
spare me and my brothers will act like his EFCC (just to
make you understand my feelings), they will make sure they
stage a search operation in any of our relatives house that I
ran to. When I finally made up my mind to go to one of my
uncle's house, I went in without the usual "Assalamu
alaikum", I was also acting as if I ran away from hospital
bed. Until someone exposed me in the manner we did to
Dieziani Alison when she went to see Gen, Abdulsalami
some months ago. My Dad, who was more like Buhari,
refused to say a word. When my mum was informed that I
was laying sick in my uncle's house, she was disturbed but,
for my brothers, they almost did what NDLEA did to Sen.
Kashamu. Thank God, my instinct never failed me. I ran to
my uncle's house because he was the only one that could
handle my parent. I regained my freedom, just like the
Lagos court helped Kashamu. Trust my Dad, I was later
punished and worked in the family farm to pay the N2.00.
That was the Buhari in my father.
SO, HOW TRUE THAT THE FORMER MINISTER OF
PETROLEUM, MRS. DIEZIANI ALISON MADUKE IS LAYING
SICK IN AN HOSPITAL IN LONDON? IS THAT HER OWN
UNCLE'S HOUSE AND HOPE SHE IS NOT....? |
Yesterday’s chlorine cylinder explosion at the state government’s water treatment plant at the Lamingo water dam in Jos, Plateau state, left 14 people dead, with over a hundred sustaining varying degrees of injuries from poisonous gas inhalation. The cylinder exploded at about 11.30 pm on Friday while people were asleep, The Punch reports, and the gaseous substance enveloped the entire neighbourhood. On Saturday, Emmanuel Nanle, director of press and public affairs to governor Simon Lalong, issued a statement on behalf of the state government regarding the incident. Affected persons are receiving treatment at “OLA Hospital, Evangel Hospital (Jankwano), Plateau Specialist Hospital, and Airforce Hospital. Some of the victims on hospital admission have been discharged,” the statement read, in part. “The contamination has been contained and does not affect the water which has been supplied to public mains. Water from the public mains is safe for consumption and is not affected in anyway by the aerial contamination of chlorine from the exploded cylinder. “Government wishes to commiserate with the families of the victims of this industrial hazard and has taken immediate measures to address the issues of expired components of the treatment plant and to guard against future re-occurrence of this unfortunate incident,” the statement read. The Saturday’s statement put the figure of fatalities at eight; however, Thisday and The Punch published Melvin Ejeh, executive director of a NGO, Global Peace and Life Rescue Initiative’s, update after he visited the scene: he said the death toll from the incident has gone up over 14 persons. The Punch also indicates that, according to eyewitnesses, no less than 160 people were injured due to excess chlorine gas inhalation. Ejeh has commended the Plateau state government for paying the medical bills of the hospitalised victims of the incident. A pregant woman, children and students were among the victims, as well as staff of the Nigeria Immigration Service, all residents or workers of areas not far from the plant. Speaking to The Punch, Nangor Ndam, PR manager of Plateau state water board, said the cylinder must have been leaking prior to the incident, but nobody noticed it until it was too late. The Saturday’s tragedy is the third time that expired dangerous gas would escape from cylinders stored at the warehouse. www.naij.com/498758-jos-chemical-explosion-14-killed-hundred-hospitalized-inhaling-poisonous-gas.html |

Boko Haram in an attempt to showcase its audacity, has attacked the Chief of Army Staff, General Buratai’s village. Recall that Major General T.Y. Buratai had made a proclamation about terror group, Boko Haram, saying he and his army will work towards seeing the end of the Islamic sect in the north east part of Nigeria. However, the dreaded Islamic sect took the bull by the horn by attacking Buratai village of Biu local government area, the home of the Army Chief, killing many and destroying houses including that of a former Commissioner, Barrister Isa Buratai. “I cannot say how many were killed in the raid by Boko Haram because we left the town while they were still on it. I saw corpses and I saw the house of our former commissioner, Isa Buratai on fire. I don’t know about the people in the house, but about two corpses were seen along the way apart from many others that we saw, ” a fleeing local, Audi Bukar, told Dailypost. Although attempts to get through to the former Commissioner of Sports, Barrister Isa Buratai to speak on the incident failed, a close associate of the Commissioner confirmed the incident. www.naij.com/494052-breaking-boko-haram-attacks-buratai.html |
IN MY OWN WEIRD THOUGHT, RAIDING SAMBO DASUKI'S HOUSE IS A BLESSING TO NIGERIA AND THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO HIM AS A PERSON. Like Nuhu Aliyu valued the 12 number of Mercedes Benz G550 Armoured Vehicles found in Sambo Dasuki's houses, saying that each of those cars cost 270,000 Euro, equivalent of N58,320,000 (at 216 Euro per Naira). The total cost is N699,840,000 (almost Seven Hundred Million Naira). Can we afford to ignore the fact that these cars were bought from taxpayers money? Can we What if by magic,Sambo Dasuki's House is said to be attacked by suspected terrorist and the story says, "they carted away 12 armored cars, 7 high caliber Rifles with thousands of ammunition and Millions of Naira in Dollar Notes." Can't we simply conclude that this an attempt "to make the country ungovernable" by those that lost elections? What was he keeping such items that cannot be found in some of the National Armory? Could this be part of his assets to be inherited by his own heirs? HOW COME THESE ITEMS ARE NOT LISTED ON THE COPY OF THE LIST OF ITEMS HE SUBMITTED ALONGSIDE THE PURPORTED LETTER OF RESIGNATION? How many times have we suspected that some of the Military supplies are deliberately delivered to Boko Haram! This was based on several reports that reveal the successful interception of Military supplies by the Boko Haram. In fact, who are the members of Boko Haram that were said to be within the Jonathan's Administration? Are they not Nigerians or Jonathan was only hallucinating? THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE STORY I HEARD THIS YEAR WAS THE ATTEMPT TO IMPLICATE THE EX SENATE PRESIDENT WITH BOKO HARAM. THEY ALLEGED THAT HE GAVE N1.2 BILLION TO BH. |

Personnel of the State Security Service, SSS, are currently laying siege on the private residence of the immediate past National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, in Asokoro district of Abuja. A source familiar with the matter told PREMIUM TIMES that the operatives, led by one Mohammed, arrived Mr. Dasuki’s residence at about 6:40 pm in four Hilux vans and asked all the soldiers on guard to stay away. They said they were at the property to see the former NSA for official reasons. Another source in Sokoto said another set of SSS operatives are presently carrying out a similar siege on Mr. Dasuki’s family House, owned by his father, a former Sultan of Sokoto, Ibrahim Dasuki, in Sokoto metropolis. “They have descended on his father’s compound in Sokoto and have so far searched the whole house including a large container that has been in the compound for many years,” the source said of the Sokoto Home. He also said the operatives have locked all occupants of the House inside and are not allowing anyone in or out of the building. Our Abuja source said the SSS operatives are still outside the residence of Mr. Dasuki insisting on seeing him and threatening to force their way in. “He has refused to let them in and right now they are threatening to force themselves in,” he said. It is not clear what the former NSA’s offences are. The SSS could not be reached for comments at this time. Since Marilyn Ogar was removed as spokesperson, the SSS is yet to introduce a new spokesperson to the media. Mr. Dasuki was relieved of his appointment as NSA this week by President Muhammadu Buhari. He was appointed NSA by former President Goodluck Jonathan on June 22, 2012 to succeed, Andrew Azazi, who died in a helicopter crash in Bayelsa state. www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/186814-breaking-sss-operatives-surround-ex-nsa-sambo-dasukis-houses.html |
