Sissie: Real men go for this woman goes for that woman.
Blah blah blah.
So if I choose not to work? And just be a stay home mum, and take care of the kids and the husband? Does this make me a liability, cause I don't support financially? Really.
Or if I choose to work for other reasons not financial and run a non-profit making business, am now a liability?
Same men will gladly tell you what the duties of a female is, and how she's to take care of home and kids. And all that.

bad idea. Maybe you might be doing it sincerely and innocently but maybe the ex might be thinking another thing and again what will your new baby say if he or she finds this out? i know i would be very angry and would not like the idea. so its better for everyone if exes stayed away from each other and not even be friends. There is a reason why this person is an ex you know

if the relationship works out then yippy you do not need to travel far to spend time with your babe but if it does not work out you are in shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitiesssssssss. Imagine her stalking you, making your new lover's life to be in hell or one of you hurting deep down their hearts when yols sees each other since yols will be neighbours otherwise if both yols are not sensitive types then good for you

Princess zoe: @ monicasque i respect your wisdom today. You are really crowned with potentials. With this, you are good to be a marriage counsellor. God bless you abundantly for even making use of this wisdom here. Another like of pastor bimbo odukoya.
Thanks sister but the truth is no one is innocent in life and we should try share what we have learned inlife because depriving each other of the truth and our own individual views would be injustice to one another. Each one teach one. I have learnt a lot from Nairaland as well and it has helped me shape my life for the better. We all have skeletons in the closet baby , BLV ME
Eloquently said... but some men cant wait grin
patience is a virtue and one should work on self discipline when married. People must understand that marriage is not all about sex and do all the dogging you wana do before entering the responsible union of marriage.
What about when she is pregnant or breast feeding? That could equate to 6 months of no nookie
then you gotta wait too sugar. Isn't it she is also waiting? don't both of you equally have needs? why must she pay the price of giving birth to your child and you are not willing to do the same? isn't it that child was created by both you yols? then you must both be ofsex not the other one wanting to cheat the process
RomanceRe: Is It Better To self-service Or To Have Affair? by Monicasque(f): 4:28pm On Jun 21, 2013
people who are in marriage should not deprive each other of each others bodies otherwise that will lead to disaster. That is why married people should by almeans always try to settle their differences before even thinking about cheating or wanking. Marriage is no walk in the park that is why one must be ready when entering in it. Marriage and relationships differ a lot and i really do not understand why one should even need to get sex else where or self-service whereas they are no longer on the market
forget dat long talk na image go pay bills. If u think talking care of ur man is love dat is bullshit dat dude doesn't love u dat moni u are spending on him he will be spending on another chick. No1 is saying d gal shld turn him to an atm machine but atleast he shld be doing his duties once a while.
image will not pay bills that is why everyone must find jobs for themselves so that they can be independent. Is paying the bills the reason you enter a relationship? isn't that selling yourself? and i did not say take care , i said go 50/ 50 and also said when the other is down , the other must try help get him or her back on track and people should not take advantage of each other. I have seen marriages crash because of money. I am not money hungry and would therefore not look for money in relationship but love, attention, respect and all the things that should be involved. I am not for sale
Ok. In sickness and in health. If he was a low life, partying and clubbing and grabbing other girls etc while being broke etc aI can understand. If he had lost his mojo and was struggling to pick up the pace then you cold attribute it to a general loss in will. This could be a type of depression. Depression can last for years and is hard to spot.
that is why i said the situation would need evaluation first. Divorce is not easy especially if both ppl really love each other but i still repeat '' taking advantage is also not nice''
Sure, that sounds reasonable. There are many factors that influence people, downtime etc. A critical factor is drive and if the drive is no longer there then that is a real disaster I admit. How would a guy pick himself up with no drive?

However, what would you do if he was down and had no drive... divorce him?
do you remember the saying that behind every succesful man there is a very succesful or strong woman? well that is the answer to the question you have asked me. Divorce is not easy and needs deep thought first. I would need to evaluate the reason for the lack of drive and try help him get back to his good self. Sometimes he might be going through depression because of this and that thus loose the drive and i would really need to step in and help my man but if the loss of drive is unreasonable i do not want to lie, i would lv him. Why must i entertain someone who has lost the mojo for no reason? some other people are really not worth the energy especialy coz i have seen other men get so lazy just because they know that maybe the wife is an ambitous person who would not allow the family to go down in that case i would feel used and i would go coz i would also not want my baby to hastle alone and me i am just sitting there waiting for his money. We must help each other and not take advantage
RomanceRe: Ladies Is Money A "Must" When Choosing A Guy by Monicasque(f): 12:37pm On Jun 21, 2013
when i choose a man , i look at image and personality first of all. Money has never been a matter to me when choosing a guy coz all i want is his love. If i want money i will go to work. He must have good potential and be able to support himself. I do not like guys who are a burden. If we wana do stuff like go to the movies etc i would rather we go 50 / 50. Should i get married i would still expect him to be able to take care of himself and understand that he and i still go 50/50 for our family financial needs. If he gets broke here and there i will be there for him just like i will expect him to be there for me if things go wrong for me but if he all of a sudden changes and shows no interest at all of trying to pick himself up, maybe always expecting to recieve instead of trying i would lv him because i have always hated being a burden and hate people who are burdens
RomanceRe: Why Am I Still Single? by Monicasque(f): 12:29pm On Jun 21, 2013
I love this post. Especially the part that talks about the stages of life. We need to remember that life really has different phases and its not always adviceable to skip some but also remember its also not adviceable to stay on 1 stage. Just because so and so is doing this and that need not put you under pressure to try and compete because in the end it is only you who you will have to deal with whether now or tomorrow when things go a certain way. Your life belongs to you alone that is why its important to know who you are , map out your life journey and remember to make every moment count
An interesting topic... grin

Any wife who adds undue weight will be under serious pressure to hold her man with all those hot, young, nubile girls out there grin

I believe however that a husband must stand by his wife. if she wants to lose weight then support her. If not then try and encourage her to be fit and healthy for health reasons. Other than that it is a marriage with vows. In sickness and in health cheesy
Hey Ath. M back but will be gone in a few minutes again. Just stole 2 minutes for NL. Well i agree with your view. Ofcourse its not nice to meet a person with a certain type of body and weight which led you to be attracted to this spouse next thing the person changes drastically but we must remember that childbirth contributes a lot on women's weight gain. I would think it would be rude for the husband to all of a sudden loose interest on his wife and starts cheating without discussing it with her. I know how man normaly would go around doign wrong all in the name of wife being over weight but dude remember those vows you said when you married her. Why not try help her to be her old better and healthy self. Again we also need to remember that there are some ladies who still look hooooot even when they have gained some weight and we also need to remember that there are some ladies wh do not look attractive at all even when lepa
Think deep about it babes wink. Women and children have the most to lose in a non committed relationship. Marriage is best suited to rearing children with better opportunities and also it provides protection for women in societies where women fail to match men in earnings etc. So marriage clearly has benefits.
k i will . got to run now. Then why not be fair and dont hurt others. Treat others the way you want to be treated. No cheating etc. keep it simple, straight and fair.

The worst thing in the world is to look at someone you love and see their pain when they find out about your shenanigans and fooling about. If you can do that then you arent a coward... just mean. So trust me, you dont want to be in that situation.
yep
That isnt cowardice... that is hypocrisy. undecided

Hypocrisy is the state of pretending to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that one does not actually have. So you do unto others but would not want the same done to you. If you do it, expect to receive with an open heart cheesy
well said but m still scared of hurt
