Maeka:And u had to quote the whole text, this is to wat end and purpose ?? |
Sheikwonder:Re u so sure? Hmmm, never say never in the world of politics esp that of Nigeria.. |
Nigeria's problems. will aptly fit the North's description ..... |
Lies, lies and lots of it again as usual. They think everyone has been zombified with no thinking faculty....We will surely be referring to this post in 2017 with All Promises Cancelled or disowned.. |
idupaul:Do u think u ve the time and patience to engage this guy constructively? I don't think u do because he is clearly beyond redemption. He wants to continue defending a product with zero value... I still don't see the sense in trying to defend Mr.Buhari at this point in time that Nigerians re facing unprecedented hardships. He should be getting ready to leave in 2019,we ve seen the stuff he's made of and most Nigerians re not impressed,we ve also come to the realization that he is same with a typical Nigerian politician.... |
jukejoint:And u think the U. S can go the whole hog of destroying Russia all alone, even with N. A. T. O it is an herculean task. U don't toy with a country armed with nuclear arsenals and also has W. M. D. If the U. S re truly behind this, it is only showing signs of desperation, which I know Putin would respond to though albeitly and sensibly without escalating tensions at the appropriate time. |
VeeBabs:I don't just understand the way people reason, they re neva objective, they have minds cast in stones and so re not flexible. How can they be comparing Syria, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia? The fault lines re too glaring for one to ignore or feign ignorance of bt so far their master(U.S.A) want Assad out and label him undemocratic, then they re good to follow suit while ignoring Bahrain and Saudi..... They won't reason independently, they must be spoonfed or told Wat is wrong and wat is right. They then come on nairaland to spew gibberish as usual.... |
oluwaahmed:My bad, I wasn't sure if Noriega was democratically elected or a military president and I could ve checked to confirm bt I didn't and only did so after seeing ur comment,so I accept that I was wrong with this bit of information bt the other things I mentioned were on point. Thanks for the correction... |
arent88:For easier control bcoz they know that a man who has money has a say in whatever that concerns him, and this is y education and wealth re out of the common man's reach up-North..without money a man behaves like a zombie and has no say in things that affect him negatively..... I heard in Islam it's a sin if u strive to change ur status, take for example a gateman believes that Allah's plan for him is gate keeping and u will be offending Allah if u strive to become a Dangote, as it would mean jealousy... This is the reason for their contentment and non -jealousy of the talakawas towards the rich...... Where as down south, we all want to" hammer" and woe besides anybody who preaches that our present stratum is where God wants us.. |
idupaul:Nor mind them, they re rogues. It might interest u to know that a very similar example of Syria's case was exactly Wat happened in Bahrain during the Arab spring movement. The only difference is that Assad is an Alawite, which is a sub-sect of the shite group of Islam in a majorly Sunni country and this is clearly y Saudi Arabia, a Sunni country wants Assad out by any means. On the other hand, Bahrain is majorly Shite with a Sunni minority in power with Saudi Arabia and the U. S. A supporting them.If the U. S re really about democracy, wat did they do wen the Bahraini issue came up? the people of Bahrain were agitating that the AL Khalifa dynasty which has been in power for the past 300+ years should step down so that elections could hold, bt the dynasty wants none of that and the citizens were mowed down with guns, and armoured tanks supplied by Germany thru Saudi Arabia, which in its self is a war crime, and expectedly the almighty U.S.A turned a blind eye to all these atrocities because the largest of their military bases in the Middle East is in Bahrain, they even went ahead to organise a formula 1 event in the heat of the crises to create a false impression that all was well in the country. Those in support of the U. S. A re either too dumb to accept that uncle Sam is the biggest evil and threat to world peace or they re clearly in a self-denial mode. It is ironical that Russia which ve been severally accused of being a threat to world peace re now the ones preaching peace and the need to do things with respect to laid down procedures and guidelines so that a bad precedent is not set. The subtle invasion. of Syria by Uncle Sam is one too many, before then we had Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan invasions with Iran to follow suit before things were sorted out,not forgetting also that most Regimes change in the continent of southern America were orchestrated by Uncle Sam like the one that happened in Brazil very recently and in sharp contrast how many countries ve Russia invaded? With Uncle Sam's invasion of those countries came a brand new and perfect "democracy" which every other country now envy. America re always at the fore front of the concept of "Might Is Right".....With the Philippines president,Maduro suddenly seeing the "light" and insulting Obama of being the child of a LovePeddler, who even did that before now to dare insult a sitting American president?,with Russia's defiance over Syria, expect more countries to dare America and align with Russia because the log of wood in their eyes is falling off gradually.Presently the Iraqis re agitating that Americans leave their soil so that Russians can be in charge. Ukraine is also in ruins now, all thanks to American democracy.... A lot of Americans re unaware of the dubious dealings of Uncle Sam, they re fed with lies by the main stream media which propagates only those things they want the citizens to know, everything is shrouded in secrecy. America is gradually turning into a quasi - police state with all their swank of being the most democratic nation on earth....... |
sweetilicious:Americans should be the ones to adhere to this admonition ,they ve caused more wars than peace, from being the first to remove a sitting president of Panama in the person of Noriega in the 90's to instigating unrests in other nations. Bt among those two accusations, the one that easily takes the icing on the cake was the jailing of a president,he was jailed for drug running and he's still in jail awaiting extradition to France wen his prison term finishes. Where, how had we seen a thing like that?It was unheard of before the U S did, they always pass the message of "Might being right". He was abducted in a most bizarre manner with total disregard for extant laws and principles guiding inter- nations' relationships with one another and taken to the U. S, to face criminal charges. The U. S re always setting bad precedents and wen other rogue countries want to take a cue from them, u see them screaming blue murder. With the way things re presently, the U. S re more dangerous to world peace that any other nation. Never knew there would come a time wen Russians would be the ones preaching Human Rights to the world.... |
kcnwaigbo:U can say that again, this is one of the gains of being loyal to an oga at the top irrespective of qualification and instead of showing serious dedication to work,u now ve individuals whose loyalties re more to one big man than to work.. Who still remembers Mr.Femi ,the spokesman of the N. S. C. D. C of 'my oga at the top fame'?He has since been transferred to Oyo state to head a bigger department than the one he headed previously in Lagos for a job well done.. I see this as a compensation by the" oga" for being a loyal subordinate, somebody who couldn't even defend his agency properly before the public, all he could muster throughout the interview wen he was asked to provide the agency's website was; "I ve to contact my oga at the top",he even unabashedly said: "I don't want to give u a website because my oga at the top can come and give u a totally different one".The. question now is :how many of such redundant fellows re still in the employ of the federal government and Wat re they still doing there?... Then any wonder y we ve big and strong men and very weak institutions? wen ideally it's supposed to be the opposite of wat we ve in our hands now..... |
Dahveydson:U ve spoken the truth. |
Smellymouth:U re gradually turning sth else on this forum. I just couldn't stop laughing, hmmm. |
To some extent, u practised wat u preached even though u had ur Achilles heel in other areas. For example ur mantra "my ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian ",u followed to the letter indeed nd not like other politicians who say sth bt do another thing entirely, if these sets of politician say a good morning to u, u will really need a clock to confirm if actually it's morning... |
Some of these public office holders need to ve their heads examined and made to undergo a psychiatric test,Wat do they need that load of cash for esp at the expense of the masses they re meant to serve,an amount that they up to their 5th generation cant possibly finish while they live,it only shows that they re sick and re just there to serve their pockets only and not the public..An educated person is meant to know the differences between needs, wants, inanities and sheer greed BT I guess the educated in Nigeria re even worse now as they re equally guilty in this mad pursuit of materialism like the uneducated who because of inferiority complex, fear of the unknown with no certificate to eke out a living if dropped from their present position steal, steal and steal because they feel the loads of cash they possess will possibly neutralise the effects of not being educated.... |
magicminister:We re just way too laid back with safety in this part of the world, maybe the person that was supposed to fix the railings felt there was no need for them and posibly thought they don't serve any other purpose other than beautification. And that there re people in the ministry of works whose unit re supposedly responsible for this makes it more worrisome,so y nd for Wat really re they being paid? |
This one I am giving happened to a friend. It happened that the guy wanted to visit his girl who resides on campus. so on getting to the park where he would take a cab to his destination he saw someone that looked like his lady BT since he wasn't so sure ,he decided to give her a call to ascertain where she was.She answered the call bt she told him she was in her hostel,so the guy moved close to the supposed lady that looked like his,lo and behold she turned out to be his girl who claimed she was in her hostel ,and right before him was his girl with another guy's arm around her waist... The guy felt so bad and shocked that he had to return to where he was coming from.... |
Costello559:Hope u know that 1+1=2..... |
sarrki:Although u can be very annoying at times esp wen it comes to defending Buhari and the A. P. C bt one very thing that I can't take away from u is the fact that u argue constructively and u re not someone who engages in name-callings or abuses wen an argument is not going ur way, so keep this latter part of u up bt for the former I don't know wat to say as I'd rather.... ... |
Krismart:I believe the girls re fully aware of the true situation of things because if they re not I know they won't be protesting this hard, they know that someone is trying to be clever by half,m the total money has been given to the N. F. F, so y re they still withholding some parts. I believe the N. F. F re enjoying this circus show of shame and disgrace and they re not even still showing signs of letting up, the other time it was the money given to the male team by a total stranger that they wanted to collect. The officials are not just ashamed ,they keep on dragging this country in the mud which further damages our reputation.. Re they the only football body in the whole world ?Can't they just emulate positive things and shun this mentality of money, money, and money. .... |
Methinks Tinubu attended this ceremony because of Aisha Buhari and nobody else considering the fact that she's always had a soft spot for the likes of Jagaban and Co who helped the husband assume the presidency. She even alluded to this in her now "infamous "interview that she granted the B. B. C some months back... |
Thought they were happy wen BUBU won with the hope that one of them was coming to power bt I guess they now know better...Karma is a biatch ,they re being force-fed their very bitter menu for them to know how it tastes.... |
Who asked u? |
decomaniaboss:@op, hope u ve done wat u said u would do if Trump won. The morale of this year's elections in America showed that impossible is nothing.... |
Sexxkillz:Funny enuf, the guy even said a thing about a central account not existing, so how do they intend to pay those who would be GH? Self denial is the greatest disservice one can do unto himself, y can't the Mavrodians accept their loss, lick their wounds and then move on rather than living in delusion or is it that they ve been jazzed and re no longer in control of their senses. I was convinced by someone to also invest in this scheme bt I told the person that I would only do so if he was able to explain where the 30 percent was coming from other than the person PH and he just couldn't, he was just beating around the bush with no tangible explanation. Well let's Keep our fingers crossed and be positive because damned is a man who rejoices over another's misfortune.... |
ValerianSteel:@ VALERIANSTEEL, y re u so much against Assad, I am not tryna support or hold brief for him but he is a legitimate president if u must know.. The Only way he can be removed is thru the ballot box, so y can't the U. S at least try and do the removal in a legitimate way despite that this in itself is also illegal and which is still better than inciting a civil war which has led to the deaths of many Syrians and humanitarian crises on a large scale. It is sickening to see people support the U. S despite her atrocities against mankind, all the countries where they took their homegrown democracy to re in shambles nd yet they still don't want to relent,if not that Russia stood up to her in Syria, Syria would ve since gone the way of Libya, and it is for this single reason that Russians and Putin re seen as enemies. Let me give u an example, if a much stronger country tries to undermine Americans by discrediting their president thru sponsorship of terrorists, how would they feel? Every country has its limitations as regards dealings between nations and which re well spelt out in the U. N charters. U don't go about bullying weaker countries just because u ve arrogated the status of "world police " to urself or just because u feel u can do so without consequences... It might also interest u to know that Assad's case is kind of similar to the ruling Khalifa dynasty in Bahrain which is a monarchy, but wat did the almighty U. S do in this case?she turned a blind eye to the gross Human Rights abuses that went on and which re still going on,reason being that this tiny Arab nation is host to America's largest military base in the Middle East. Isn't it ironical that the much touted no-nonsense ,oppressive and rigid Russians re the ones preaching equity and Human Rights to the world at this point in time while Uncle Sam continues to leave wailings ,Human Rights abuses and destruction in countries she visits. Equality is wen u practise Wat is good for the goose being also good for the gander as nd failure to do so would result in a lot of angst, and hatred. The MSM media re not telling us the truth y Assad is being haunted and demonized, and they need to know that we all are not dumb if they thought so. It's good to be objective as an individual rather than having the bias or mentality of "can anything good ever come out of ",and it is these two that define u, this is very bad and wrong because to u, America can do no wrong. Record Americans re ditching their passports for those of other countries, this might be as a result of the way the citizens re beginning to see the U. S as being oppressive, wicked and evil... |
Life expectancy is another factor esp in a country like ours where it is 40 years or so for the men and about 45 for the women. The implications of these result in men being less than women, the men re cut down in their prime leaving widows or ladies of marriageable ages behind. Naturally also a female child is stronger and less susceptible to factors mitigating against survival than a male child.... |
quiverfull:Thank u so much, going thru a lot of comments made me realize that a lot of people didn't really understand Ali Baba's discuss and the manner in which he chose to put his message across. Simply put he made use of Sarcasm... That he said the girls'wages were peanuts didn't actually show that he meant so,if anyone would feel insulted by this comment then it has to be the N. F. A or the federal government who ve decided to shirk their responsibilities and they re the ones Ali is obviously shading or dissing..... . |
gergemam:it's a pity, we re not just ready to develop.Wen we re ready, we shall know. It's even funny that e if u re able to generate the power, then the distribution becomes another bottle neck as it will need to also pass thru the national grid for distribution and u won't even ve a say in how it is distributed.. So who would want to be cheated ?? Lagos and Rivers states' governments that tried to generate in the past were made to pass thru this national grid palaver while other states that didn't generate a wat of power benefit from the crazy arrangement. |
gergemam:They won't buy into this ur idea because some parts of the country would feel that other parts will be light years ahead of them in terms of development if this idea is allowed to sail thru, they would rather want everybody yoked together so that individual state's development can hindered. Lagos state tried sth similar with her Enron power project and we knew how the project was frustrated by O. B. J until finally it kaputed. |
Nigeria is finished! This tells a lot about how they allocate the blocks to friends and cronies, and they re mostly under the table deals devoid of transparency. There was a country indeed... |
