Thank God you know you are blabbing. As long as the delegates did not vote for Mr A and the electoral officer announced Mr B, the election is justified. If a delegate sold his vote for candidate A by collecting some cash from him, it is not the fault of candidate A but that of the delegate and those who don't know how to play the game, in this case Sarah Jubril. I think she is just a noice maker
What I am suggesting here, is let us not dismiss her because she has cried foul. She might have a case.

And yes, if Sarah Jubril had made it through foul means, I would have asked questions about her.

The problem with Nigeria, is that anything goes. We lack integrity from top to bottom, that is why we see nothing wrong in that country.

Delegates were essentially bribe, but in Nigerian terms, there is nothing wrong. Like it is often said, we are probably worse than our leaders. Shame

It is time our people start thinking of coming home. This is getting out of hand.

And what makes u think d process was flawed? Last time i checked, all d candidates (including Sarah Jubril) had agents representing them during d counting of d votes. So y are u blabbing?
Maybe I am blabbing, but even bbc reported that the whole primaries thing, in thier words was a "Cash and Carry" affair, Once again I may be blabbing, but I believe in the truth, not like most who think a corrupt process will produce good eggs.

@Chyz,

What you say is true, especially if people are clamouring for a rotational system rather than one that works on merit.

Why should I wait till 2015 before a Delta North person can contest under the PDP banner or am I wrong? Oga Wesley80 please clarify
PoliticsRe: Sarah Jubril Takes Jonathan To Court by monkeyleg: 10:38am On Jan 26, 2011
Listen guys, it doesnt matter if Sarah Jubril didnt stand a chance of winning, the key things here is if there was evidence of foul play in the process which ushered GEJ in.

I keep saying it, Nigerians need to learn how to do things properly. We have all lost the ability to distinguish right from wrong, or more importantly, we dont care about right or wrong.
PoliticsRe: Bbc Africa's "what Do You Think Of Nigeria" A Sensible Forum? by monkeyleg: 10:34am On Jan 26, 2011
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this. We should learn to listen to criticism and heed good advise, there is absolutely nothing wrong in people telling us the truth, especially and we are not used to telling ourselves the truth
PoliticsRe: Sarah Jubril Takes Jonathan To Court by monkeyleg: 10:25am On Jan 26, 2011
She has a point, and she has every right to challenge a wrong went it happens, A trait most Nigerians lack.
PoliticsRe: An Ijaw Man Wants To Rule Delta State By Force by monkeyleg: 12:33am On Jan 26, 2011
@Wesley80,

It is not too much to ask, but my passion for Delta state is what drives me.

I am a strong believer in the merit system, never been in support of rotation, because that is what has destroyed and under developed Nigeria. I also believe in social justice. We must speak the truth no matter what the consequence is.
PoliticsRe: An Ijaw Man Wants To Rule Delta State By Force by monkeyleg: 12:16am On Jan 26, 2011
@asha 80,

They are the same gaurd. No difference, and I make no apologies for it. Ifeanyi Okowa and co have been part of the Ibori clan for the last 12yrs. he does not represent any change, and if that is the best Delta North can produce then too bad.
PoliticsRe: An Ijaw Man Wants To Rule Delta State By Force by monkeyleg: 12:01am On Jan 26, 2011
What I find funny is that people are prepared to turn a blind eye, just because they hope the Governorship will come to their place. Typical reason why Nigeria is the way it is. I do not accept that arguement no matter who tables it.

By the truth I stand, even if it means naming those responsible, and if you dont like it Wesley80, to hell with you.

Uduaghan, Ibori, and thier cohorts have destroyed that state
PoliticsRe: An Ijaw Man Wants To Rule Delta State By Force by monkeyleg: 10:57pm On Jan 25, 2011
@Ezeagu,

They do. Anyone who remembers the old Bendel state, knows what I am talking about. It is the liikes of Ibori, who have introduced divisions to serve thier selfish ends
PoliticsRe: An Ijaw Man Wants To Rule Delta State By Force by monkeyleg: 10:28pm On Jan 25, 2011
@Andre Uweh,

I am convinced that if you have a good well meaning governor, that will happen. Dont forget the Ibori Cohort only served to divide we deltan's and perpetrate wickness and evil
PoliticsRe: Is Jega Capable Of Handling The Responsibilities Of Running Inec Efficiently? by monkeyleg: 10:23pm On Jan 25, 2011
With the precedence of the recent Delta state re-run and the ongoing voters registeration, I am not convinced
PoliticsRe: An Ijaw Man Wants To Rule Delta State By Force by monkeyleg: 10:12pm On Jan 25, 2011
The problem with delta state is the constant bad government, which the likes of ibori perfected. Ibori started sowing the seeds of discord in the state, and things were made worse with his terrible governement and subsequent imposition of hi brother on us who is equally as bad.

I am convinced that if Delta state had good leadership, our differences would be kept aside, after all we live and marry amongst ourselves. historicaly as a child growing up in Ughelli, Warri and Benin all this nonsense did not exist, or if it did wasnt this magnified.
PoliticsRe: An Ijaw Man Wants To Rule Delta State By Force by monkeyleg: 4:50pm On Jan 25, 2011
@Redsun,

Tell them. Poverty has really made the normally intelligent man look and sound stupid.

Poverty is a real bad thing, especially in that Nigeria.

Timeline

Ibori - Thief
Uduaghan - Thief
Okowa - Thief

So what do you get? a state perpetually led by thieves

PoliticsRe: Jonathan In Talks With Atiku by monkeyleg: 2:28pm On Jan 24, 2011
I have said it time without number, We are not ready for change. Just 2 weeks ago Atiku was a wanted man for money laundering, today he is Oga's mate.

NYSCRe: DDCs Run On Linux - Dont Put The Blame On Corpers by monkeyleg: 3:52pm On Jan 19, 2011
@texazzpete,

Well, the buck stops at his desk. So he should start by issuing an apology for the disgraceful excersize so far, instead of allowing innocent corpers take the blame.

Then next wee need to question his judgement, and his advisers. They should really be giving his sound advice? Who did the due diligence on this whole thing.

Sorry, the fhuck-up is just to big for him to be passing the blame around. They say with the top job comes great responsiblility (and money), so he should me man enough to admit to the mistakes.
NYSCRe: DDCs Run On Linux - Dont Put The Blame On Corpers by monkeyleg: 3:38pm On Jan 19, 2011
But the signs where on the wall for all to see.

I complained bitterly (and still do) about that dogs boloks of a Delta state re-run, but I was quickly fired upon, by some. Well big Breeeeeeeeeze don blow now, so na fowl nyash we dey look.

The fundamental structure of INEC should have changed from day one. There was ample evidence to suggest that this whole thing would end up being a massive disaster.

Motto "always try and keep things short and sweet"
PoliticsRe: Corps Members Disappointed Us – Inec by monkeyleg: 5:12pm On Jan 18, 2011
The corpers should be absolved of all blame.

Jega must own up now, and apologise for falsely accusing the Corpers, and this total sham of a registeration thing. But I warned people
PoliticsRe: Corps Members Disappointed Us – Inec by monkeyleg: 4:14pm On Jan 18, 2011
Nigeria, what a funny country. When I was shouting about the obvious failures of INEC in the recently concluded Delta state election  re-run, some folks on here shouted me down.

At that time, I was raising the alarm that all doesnt seem well with INEC, Well according to Chief Zebrudaya "How You are".

Inec well done
PoliticsRe: Corps Members Disappointed Us – Inec by monkeyleg: 2:55pm On Jan 18, 2011
If INEC felt these guys were not upto scrath ITwise why did they employ them? Again, another laspe in judgement. What ever way you want to look at this INEC is to blame. The Buck stops with Jega, he is the Oga
PoliticsRe: Corps Members Disappointed Us – Inec by monkeyleg: 2:45pm On Jan 18, 2011
I think most are assuming that the problem here is basic, It might not be. By the way the Buck stops with INEC so they should be brave enough to accept the blame rather than laying it off on the corpers. This is damn pitiful
PoliticsRe: Inec Ddcm Lapses & Untrained Operators by monkeyleg: 9:44am On Jan 18, 2011
@Texazzpete,

dozie76 makes a very good point. Why provide equipment for adhoc staff without adequate training. Dont blame the corpers, balme Inec.

I would have setup a training camp for at least 2 weeks to train staff properly, with all sorts of possible scenarios. Make sure that we have the necessary support staff to work with them.

The voters registeration has not been properly planned. Simple truth
PoliticsRe: Corps Members Disappointed Us – Inec by monkeyleg: 9:37am On Jan 18, 2011
texazzpete:
WTF do you mean by 'were they easy to operate'? The so-called 'machine' is a LAPTOP. Why should any graduate need more than 10 minutes of training to become used to a mere data entry software layer running on Windows XP or Vista?

A HUGE number of corps members serving are dumbasses who cannot use a computer properly. I find INEC's position perfectly understandable.

Why shouldn't he have that expectation? Why should any graduate not be computer literate?
You are assuming that things are straightforward. We have heard of the devices not functioning properly.

No matter how well clued up you are with Information technology, a badly setup system will always pose challeneges.

Sorry, I am on the side of the corpers on this one. Once again Inec has not planned properly.

Professor Attahiru Muhammadu Jega actually failed to pass his first test.

From eye witness accounts, the election was not free and fair.
PDP rigged it again.
My Borther I have said it here so many times, and I am not tired. We are very good at being blind to the truth. We find it so hard as nigerians to tell ourselves the truth.

Ok look at these pictures and tell me what ballots boxes where doing there
