listen guys, you all have points. ruling Nigeria is not so staright forward and I appreciate that. Acejam, probably made one of the best observations, and I think that is key to this debate. yes we need someone with very big balls that can fight corruption to the root, and kill it dead gbam, but we also need someone with intelligence that can insipre the right people to make the necessary change, and I will explain. During l the last election, I tirelessly campaigned for Pat, pointing out very key points that most Nigerians failed to see. I could see that this is a man who had the capacity to attract the best to serve Nigeria. Nigeria is the way it is today, because those who can make a change are not interested in politics. I know a lot of people will ask why, but the answer is blindingly obvious. You won’t expect anyone with an element of decency to follow this stupid bunch of politician, they just don’t mix. Now look at Pat, though his academic and business credentials speak for themselves, an even bigger advantage is the sort of crowd he is likely to pull. Now what do I mean by that, pat is likely to galvanise those people who have stayed away from politics and government to come and serve. His reputation is likely to pull the sort of people we need to drive Nigeria forward in all sectors, I am not just saying this, I know Pat has the capacity to pull the necessary people together to move Nigeria forward quickly |
let him go and save himself from insanity |
If only Nigerians could see well. I have often argued Pat's case on here, If only my people can see the immense possibilities that exists with PU. But like they say a prophet is never welcomed in his home. |
Same happened to me. My posts were deleted continiously. And for no good reason I was prevented from posting or replying to posts for 24hrs, Now whay is that? |
Why must we always read meaning to these things. David West is simply stating the truth. I used to be a long time support of Buhari, i was convinced that he was the only man that had the balls to challenge what was going on in Nigeria, until I was swiftly reminded of his deep religious attitude. I would galdly back him if he can come out and be more inclusive in his approach. |
What PU is saying is true, the damn lot are bloody Illiterates. |
@Rasputin, My brother if the picture arrive, I will pay for the full Biilboard in Enerhen Road, maybe 1 in Okere market. I just heard his senior brother has been stripped of his title in Oghara |
He will be coming to the UK where the prisons are notorious for strong action. Chai, after all his wickedness, he falls from grace so cheaply |
@Chillbabe, Well evil thrives when good men and women do nothing. We are begining to fight back, dont worry. For those who resist, change will come and they will be swept aside. This evil cannot go on for too long. Uduaghan knows his days are numbered and he is fighting a loosing battle. His wicked brother is soon to be sent to the UK where he will be disgraced, and purnished. like you said, I worry more for those who come on here are defend absoulte thrash, for they have been bought so cheap. |
@Beaf, na you dey open mouth talk so, abi u no follow dem chop doe. Ibori, im brother and Udu are all in deep fowl shit. No pity for the devil. Delta people don suffer reach |
We are so cheap in that country |
Gj is not thinking this through. Nigerians abroad must be allowed to feel part of the process. We have embassies in major countries, and registeration would not be as difficult as he thinks it would. He must give those in diaspora that chance. |
@Chillbabde, please leave Beaf, and his brother Papabrowne, they really dont understand what is going on. Look at it, Uduaghan has taken $10m of state fund to try to secure the release of his brother, this same guy that told you he does not pay Ibori's debts. Dont worry, after they finish with Ibori, and I can confidently tell you they will, Uduaghan is next. They will both face justice. The good people of Delta state have suffered enough. |
As if his crimes are not bad enough. He brother Uduaghan is spending $10m of Delta states funds to try and free this criminal. The length these guys will go to is unbelievable, and I have had people coming on here defending uduaghan. Of interest to analysts, however, is the Emmanuel Uduaghan factor. As revealed by Saharareporters last week, the Delta State Governor is reported to have raised the stakes by making available $10 million to “free Ibori” in Dubai http://www.saharareporters.com/news-page/ukuae-extradition-trial-james-ibori’s-bases-defence-awokulehins-kangaroo-court-verdict-asa |
Nigeria has to go down in history as one of the most wasteful countries on earth. then what happens in 2015? |
@Beaf, So what do you really know about the devil? Well i have accepted that a good percentage of Nigerians, including you are satisfied with celebration failure as success. Striving for true success is not in your dictionary let alone excellence. I have often argued that the real problem with Nigeria is not her leaders, but her people. You have just proven me right again. |
Aisha2, You know GJ is on facebook, and I hear he responds to posts. have you tried taking your case there. You are likely to get major support from people who have signed up to his fan page. Give it a try |
@Beaf, You can have your prize gov Uduaghan. like it is always said. Nigerians get leaders they deserve. So if you think Uduaghan is the best thing since fried dodo, then no problem. After all Uduaghan has got you where he wants you. Well done. |
@texazzpete, you really mirror what I have to say. it is such a pity that our people have been so beaten that they accept failure as success. I have visited Warri, Asaba, Ughelli, Jedo, Abraka, Udu, Aladja, you name it, and quite frankly I really feel sorry for my people, I really do, but if Delta people accept that this is the definition of development, then what can I say. This same reason why good credible candidates will never seek the best offices in the land, simple because we as nigerians do not understand good governanace, and quite happy to wallow in our shallow victory. |
@beaf, I dont accept the argument that since everyone in Nigeria is stealing, that makes it right for Uduaghan to steal, that argument is just lame. After all we can blame the system. Charity the say begins at home. Like I said I said I always wanted to leave out all this good govenor, bad governor bit, because it it very clear to me that the common Nigerians does not understand what good governance is. My problem, and that is the tiltle of my thread is why should a state governor spend X amout of state money buying SUV cars for house of assembly members. and some of the lamentable answers I have been getting is that is what happens in Nigeria. but my point is that it MUST Stop. Ima not a big fan of Uduaghan and his brother, and it has very little to do with where he comes from. it is just that these guys have plundered states funds, left CRUMBS for people like you to eat, and even made you Praise him for leaving crumbs, and by the WAY he did that with your money. YOU Beaf, your money, and you are here telling me he has done well |
@Beaf, The problem here is that you guys are too easyly pleased. Would you say that if Uduaghan was working for a private firm, and showed up this sort of preformance he would keep his job?, and not only that, he tops it up with stealing from the company. |
@Beaf, I am glad you see some sense in what I am saying. But the bigger fact remains that there cannot be half andhalf good. it is either you do the job you are elected to do, and we the Deltans pay you for, or you get out. The Day Nigerians start accepting full responsiblity for our development, then that day would truly be the dawn of a new era. And by the way, I wouldnt praise Fashola the way you suggest I would, I will leave Lgaos state people to fight that battle. My Battle lies in Delta state, and getting a good states that all Deltans, Urhobo, Isoko, Ibo, Itsekiri, Ijaw will be proud off. Uduaghan has been paid for the job he is currently doing. He is a Sarvant of Delta state and should act like one. The day, my sarvant feels I can no longer tell him what to do, is the day I sack him or her full stop. The fact that he washed oga's shirt today, and cut the grass yesterday, is not reason to disrespect the finger that feeds him. |
Nice. About time we stand up for what is right |
His timing is not wrong, infact it is very right. what is lacking in Nigeria is the collective desire for change. That is why we have all become perpertual siddon lookers, every good at phycoanalysing others and coming up with the usual prediction, that they would not win. I wouldnt say duke is my prefered candidate, but he remains one of the best of the awful lot. If Nigerian really seek and desire change, they will awake from their slumber and ignite the necessary momentum that we need to effect that change |
Representation is the best way to spread development @Beaf, No it is not. Good governance is the best way forward. This same idiology is the reason why Nigeria is fast regressing. Stop being bought cheap. Like I asked would you serve your houseboy, while he sits on your chair, enjoys your car, house, money, and orders you around. Well I guess most of you wont, so please you guys should stop prostituting yourselves. if any of you understood what your state government should be doing for you, you probably wont come on here are start bragging about failures. By the way, not one has answered where he got the money to buy those SUV's for now that is the main issue. |
Sorry guys, just to add, and because you guys claim he has done some work, that then qualifys him to steal from the state. I just dont get it |
@texazzpete, You have really spoken well, and articulated my point beautifully. Nigerians really get the leaders they deserve. The measure of excellence in Nigeria is what people will be put in jail in other country, even in Africa. This is the problem we have when people clearly do not understand what role of a governor or public sarvant should be. I use the word public sarvant because that is what Uduaghan is, but he is acting like Public master. Taking from the people what is rightfully theirs, confusing those who should no better, even getting them to bow and lick his boots. Guys, where have you seen, were house boy dey siddon chop, oga dey serve am. Well if you guys can think about it properly, maybe what we are saying would start making sense. |
@Papabrowne, You stated that you are not from delta state, so i really wonder why you are so interested. And besides, I cannot understand how you came to the conclusion that I hate any tribe. I am not going to degenerate to insults like you, but if you call what Ibori and his brother have built world class, then I really worry for your level of education. And by the way even the Guvs own tribes men and woman cant stand him. You dont care that he spent state fund bribing member of the house of assembly, which means you really dont care about Nigeria. i wonder what is going on in your own state, dont youn think you should go and find out more, before coming here are preaching to me about mine. This has nothing to do with tribe, but facts. The Past and present Governors have been monumental failures, by any standard. |
